Fall in love with Bones Whiskey in WICKED WHISKEY LOVE, an emotionally riveting, sexy new standalone romance by New York Times bestselling author Melissa Foster. A magnificent love story for those who enjoy fiercely loyal and insanely sexy alpha heroes, smart, sassy heroines, families, bikers, babies, and more! In WICKED WHISKEY LOVE…After escaping abusive parents and, later, an abusive … abusive relationship, Sarah Beckley has spent a lifetime watching snakes shed their skin. With two small children to care for and another on the way, she’s finally found a home in Peaceful Harbor with the brother she hasn’t seen in more than a decade. She’s still searching for her sister, but life is good. If only she could stop thinking about the sinfully sexy doctor/biker who has taken to her children like a loving uncle-and to her like a hungry man.
Trust doesn’t come easily for Sarah, but Bones Whiskey is patient and protective, amazing with her children, and he looks at her like she is the only woman he could ever want-and more. With two little ones underfoot, Sarah expects him to move on quickly, yet with every tender kiss and each trying moment with the children, Bones surprises her. But will the fiercely loyal biker stick around when Sarah’s worst secret is revealed, or will he shed his skin, too?

Wicked Whiskey Love by Melissa Foster
The Whiskeys #4
Bones Whiskey has the hots for Sarah Beckley. She happened into town and into his life a couple of months before the book begins and must have met him in the emergency room after a bad accident. Coming into the series late didn’t detract from this love story but did make me curious about the three previous books.
Sarah has a three year old boy, eleven month old daughter and is five and a half months pregnant and can’t see why Bones would have feelings for her but he clearly does. She has had a rough past and is does not trust easily but eventually is won over by Bones. Their story was difficult at times to read but boy did Sarah deserve to finally end up with a wonderful man like Bones!
There is some comment about the motorcycle club that the Whiskey family is part of but it is more of a sideline in this book than anything else. There are several characters still waiting to have their stories told and I look forward to reading each of them as they are published.
Thank you to the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.

I licked him, Bones is Mine! #BonesIsMine
Oh my Bones! I never thought that any of Melissa Foster’s guys could make me question my undying love for Tru, but Bones Whiskey is sure giving him a run for his money.
Wicked Whiskey love gave me all the feels. I couldn’t help but laugh, smile and at times shed a tear or two.
But mostly, Bones made me swoon. Like, completely weak at the knees, ovaries exploding swoon.

I adore Sarah and her family, however to me this book is all about Bones. He is everything. E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G.
It has been hours since I finished this book, but I can’t stop thinking about it.
Sarah is a strong, protective, amazing mother and you can’t help but fall for her and her kids. And watching #MyBones with her and Bradley and Lila just makes this girl want to be Sarah.
There is a little bit of drama, but nothing over the top, and nothing that is dragged out just for the sake of it.
It was wonderful to get more of the Whiskey guys and their families. I want to be friends with them so much.
Wonderful, sweet, romantic – Wicked Whiskey Love was the perfect romantic story for me.
I can’t wait to see what Ms Foster brings us next.
I love MC romance. I love slow burn romance. I love insta-love romance. I love just about any kind you can think of. This book has so many of my favorite things, that I knew it was gonna be amazing. Add in the fact that it was about one of the Whiskeys, (a family I’ve fallen in love with over the course of the previous books!) and this book was bound to be a 5+ star read!
Bones Whiskey is a good man. Dependable, loyal, and HOT! He is everything that any woman could want. He set his sights on Sarah the very first time he met her. But knowing she was skittish, he has been patient with her, slowly inserting himself into her life.
Sarah has had a really bad life. So bad, she doesn’t trust when things are going well. But she is determined to make a better life for herself and her children. She isn’t sure if Bones is good for her, or if he is going to bring more bad to her life. She tries to resist him, even though he is absolutely perfect. She keeps waiting for the other shoe to drop, knowing it’s coming.
This book has somehow combined insta-love, with the slow burn type of love that I enjoy so much. Even though the feelings were there for them both at their first meeting, Bones was patient, biding his time, waiting for Sarah to catch up, and the resulting story was perfect. There were some parts that were pretty rough, and I shed a few tears, but there was an overall good feeling to this story. Family plays a huge part in this book, and there were plenty of laughs. I love the Whiskeys, and Bones, Sarah and the little ones just added to that love!
This may be book 4 in The Whiskeys Series but it certainly can be read as a stand-alone as each book is about a different family member and in this book we get to hear Bones and Sarah’s story.
Sarah hasn’t had an easy life abused as a child and a runaway as a teenager she is now only finding life can be good if you have the right people around you the problem is she has two small children and another on the way so will she ever trust anyone with the most important things in her life her kids. Moving to Peaceful Harbour and reconnecting with her long lost brother is a start but she still is desperate to find her sister they lost touch when they were teenagers and she needs to find her to make sure she is ok.
Bones Whiskey is patient and protective and he is amazing with her children but he wants more and Sarah is convinced that when he hears her secrets he will want nothing to do with her. What Sarah doesn’t realise that by settling in Peaceful Harbour she and her children are now protected by fiercely loyal Whiskey family.
This book captivated me I couldn’t put it down and if you love stories that are based around loyal hot Alfa bike riding males you will love this book and this series. The characters have chemistry the children are adorable and the family loyalty is something I’m sure we all wish we had in our life’s. Every book in this series is enjoyable but for me this is the best so far, looking forward to more from the very talented Melissa Foster
WICKED WHISKEY LOVE by Melissa Foster is book Four in The Whiskeys Series. This is the story of Sarah Beckley and Bones Whiskey. I haven’t yet read the previous books, so for me this was a standalone book. I did wish I had read where they had first met.
Sarah has been surviving the best she could through a very abusive situation . Sarah has finely gotten away with her two little children and one on the way to be with her brother that she has not seen in years. They are all recovering from an accident. Sarah’s childhood was no better which added to her not trusting what she see as Sarah knows that people aren’t always nice but act it. So when Bones starts to win over her kids and starts looking at her a certain way..along with being protective of her, its starts causing her to have doubts in what she always known to be true.
This was such a good story. I did have to pull out the tissue for some scene but I am a easy crier I think…but it was worth it to me.
Bones and Sarah’s story was heartbreaking but so so good! Wicked Whiskey Love is the story of Bones. The title, the book cover, the blurb, all of it fits this Whiskey man down to the core. Bones is a passionate character that you really cannot believe how a bad boy biker can love so fiercely.
Sarah’s story devastated me. I had tears rolling down my cheeks and could not believe the deck of cards she has been given her whole life. Her babies are just so innocent and are flourishing along with the Whiskey clan.
Wicked Whiskey Love has a lot of emotion behind each page you read. I fall more in love with these characters as each book is released. There is so much more to each story. Bones has become my number 1!
Wicked Whiskey Love (Kindle Edition) by Melissa Foster … Oh my am I in love…who wouldn’t be with the perfect man…Bones Whiskey(Wayne…handsome, loyal, sexy..doctor) Sarah Beckley ( running from a brutal ex..with two small children and pregnant) their story is so full of laughter, abuse, tears, mystery, lots of old friends and family, steamy sex, adorable kids and of course a HEA. This book really touched me because my husband of 46 years married me and my two year old son (he adopted him after we got my first husband to sign of rights) . I am looking forward to MAD ABOUT YOU Jed and Josie’s story…I want Scot’s story too…will it be with Dixie?
4.5stars–WICKED WHISKEY LOVE is the fourth instalment in Melissa Foster’s contemporary adult THE WHISKEYS erotic, romance series focusing on the Whiskey family of Peaceful Harbor. This is oncology physician Wayne ‘Bones’ Whiskey, and single mother / hairstylist Sarah Beckley’s story line. WICKED WHISKEY LOVE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion including Sarah’s introduction to the Peaceful Harbor town. Sarah was first introduced to the reader in Driving Whiskey Wild. The Whiskeys series is a spin off from the author’s Bradens of Peaceful Harbor. There is a slight MC biker theme throughout the series as the Whiskeys are part of the local Dark Knights MC.
NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line content including references to rape, physical and emotional abuse, there may be some issues for more sensitive readers.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Bones and Sarah) WICKED WHISKEY LOVE follows the building relationship between oncology physician Wayne ‘Bones’ Whiskey, and twenty-six year old, single mother / hairstylist Sarah Beckley. Months earlier Sarah Beckley, along with her children Bradley and Lila, and her brother Scott ‘crashed’ into Peaceful Harbor hoping for a new start. Years of abuse at the hand of her parents, and the children’s father forced Sarah to run without looking back. Meeting the Whiskey family of Peaceful Harbor gave Sarah a hope for the future but our heroine never expected to fall in love with a man willing to accept her past, and the children she loved. Enter Dr. Wayne ‘Bones’ Whiskey, the epitome of the perfect man, including his readiness to bring Sarah into his life. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Sarah and Bones, and the potential fall-out as Sarah struggles with memories from the past, and Bones’ determination to help Sarah move forward pushes at her already fragile persona.
The relationship between Sarah and Bones is one of immediate attraction but Sarah struggles between head and heart as a single mother who’s sole purpose is to see to her children’s safety and security. Bones is willing to take it slow suspecting Sarah has suffered throughout most of her life but our hero never expected to fall in love with a ready-made family. The $ex scenes are intimate, seductive and passionate, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
There is a large and colorful ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including the Whiskey family who founded the Dark Knights MC: Special Forces Veteran Bullet Whiskey and Finlay Wilson (Driving Whiskey Wild #3), biker/mechanic Bear Whiskey and his wife Crystal (Truly, Madly, Whiskey 2), as well as Crystal’s brother Jed; Bones’ sister Dixie; Dixie, Bullet, Bear, and Bones’ parents Biggs and Wren (Red) Whiskey; Truman & Gemma (Tru Blue #1) ; Truman’s brothers and sister, Quincy, Lincoln and Kennedy; Sarah’s brother Scott Beckley. We are re-introduced to Sarah’s children: four-year old Bradley, and eleven month old Lila; Scott and Sarah’s sister Josie, as well as a number of women living at a local women’s shelter. Jed and Jose’s story line is next in Mad About Moon.
The world building focuses on the building relationship and growing love between Bones and Sarah, but also looks at the fall-out and ramifications of parental and spousal, physical and emotional abuse, and the ongoing struggle to move forward without having to constantly look back. The Whiskey family, and thusly the Dark Knights MC are an over-protective group who readily accept Sarah, Scott and the Beckley brood with open arms and open hearts.
WICKED WHISKEY LOVE is an emotional and passionate story line. Melissa Foster takes the reader on a journey of betrayal and recovery; family and friendship; falling in love and letting go of the past. The premise is raw, real and inspiring; the characters are realistic and moving; the romance is seductive and intense. WICKED WHISKEY LOVE is an impassioned and dramatic tale of second chances, of a sort, for a woman who has endured and survived.
OMG Melissa nailed this story!
Meet Sarah, two kids in toe, one more on the way, escapes her abusive relationship, and falls in the path of Whiskey heaven!
Bones Whiskey is the stuff dream men are made of! He will have you swooning like you’ve never swooned before, and falling in love with him.
Read their story in this amazing book by Melissa, catch up with the rest of the crew. Be prepared to shed some tears, hang on tight to your ovaries as well! 5 whiskey stars for this one grab it asap!
This is my first Whiskey series book and I loved it. I will say this as person who does not really care for books that involve children I still highly enjoyed this one. It may be because Bones just loves the children like his own and it shows in everything he does that it was easier to fall in love with everyone. Bones really is the perfect person too bad we can’t clone him, haha! You can read this book as a stand alone or enjoy it as part of the series. Bones and Sarah are perfect for each other. Sarah has a lot to overcome with her childhood and with her ex and Bones is the one to show her how life should really be. There are so many more stories is this series that I hope the author does.

***5 ‘My Ovaries Exploded’ Stars***
Seriously. The swoons in this book are real. So. REAL. But the ovary overload is unreal.
I mean, my ovaries were already going crazy while reading the first book in the series, Tru Blue, and in all honesty they never stopped their quivering because every book after has those ovary exploding moments with the Whiskey’s. But this one? DAMN! This one just about killed me..in the best of ways.
I already loved Bones going into this book. He’s a Whiskey, you love him regardless, but OMG this man…I think adore is an understatement. He is all kinds of alpha AF ~ protective, determined, smexy as all get out ~ but there is this…gentle sincerity to him that just makes you melt and want to cuddle up with him because you know that while he’ll be your shield even as he lets you tackle your own demons.
Sarah is one strong woman, and that is something I knew even before knowing her entire story and after? Well, she’s got some titanium balls on her that’s for damn sure. She’s battled through a lot and it’s left her a little bruised with some pretty high walls constructed around her, but despite the demons she fights, her love for her kids, Bradley, Lila and the peanut growing in her shines through with every breath she takes.
I thoroughly enjoyed Bones and Sarah’s journey to their HEA. It had many moments where I groaned in frustration, but the sweet and swoon worthy moments totally balanced it out. I loved watching Bones get under Sarah’s defences by just being exactly who he is to his very core: honest, loyal, compassionate and a little sneaky as well and showing her through his actions that he is like no one she’s ever met and through his actions how Sarah worked through her own demons. The bumps in their road are intense and the one big one could have become a sink hole, but I loved how everything worked out for them in the end.
As much as I loved Sarah and Bones journey, a good chunk of my love of this book ~ and series in general ~ goes to the Whiskey clan as a whole and all those they call their own. They are the definition of what family means and I love how they have no issue with sticking their noses into situations and giving their two cents and backing each other up, even when the help isn’t asked for. Bradley, Lila, Kennedy and Lincoln were just too adorable for words and Tink was her sweet self. I loved catching up with everyone and getting to know Scott, Sarah’s brother a little better. There are some topics that come up in this one that could be triggers for some, so be warned. And, now to wait to see who the next one on the chopping block will be…will it be Daisy? Or will it be one of the honorary Whiskey’s taking the plunge???

~ 4.5 Dr. Whiskey Stars ~
Bones Whiskey!!! That is a man you want to meet!! I have always been curious and fascinated about Bones and he lived up to all my expectations.
Wicked Whiskey Love is the 4th book in the Whiskey Series. These books are all standalone novels, but you will see recurring characters in all the books. My recommendation would be to read this series in order starting with Tru Blue. These books are told in Dual POV in the third person. I really enjoyed the storyline of this book. It was filled with emotional topics and some tough subjects but she also added the happy element with a wedding, and children who were absolutely adorable.
This book had me crying and my heart breaking, but it also had me laughing out loud. The only reason I couldn’t give this book 5 stars was because I thought it was a little wordy. There were some times that I thought we got a little too much description and it slowed the pace down a little too much for my liking. But even with that said, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to all fans of Melissa Foster’s and readers who enjoy a friends to lovers story.
In this book we follow the story of Bones Whiskey and Sarah. Bones is a member of the Dark Knights MC club and a loyal man who is fiercely protective of the ones he loves. Sarah is a single mother of 2 with one on the way who has gone through some seriously bad stuff. From the moment Bones’s brother, Bullet, pulled Sarah and her kids from a burning car, Bones has been infatuated with Sarah. Sarah is a little more hesitant, she has some serious trust issues!! Bones though is determined to break down her walls and get into her heart. Can Sarah let Bones into her heart?? Will she be able to trust and break down her walls?? Can these two get their HEA?? Read this story to find out.
I loved seeing all the other past couples and the other “family” members to the Whiskey’s. You can’t help but wish to be a part of this group after meeting them and following all their journeys. I can I just say how ADORABLE the kids in these books are. My heart just melted every time they were in the scene.
I would recommend this to all of Melissa’s readers. This is a story/series you won’t want to miss reading!! The Whiskey are a great bunch of men 😉
I love this family. Every one of them has been a pleasure to read.
This book is one of those that totally touched my heart. I love it when the hero loves the children as much as the mother. My stepfather didn’t have to step up as a father but he did. I admire that about Bones. He could have tolerated Sarah’s kids or ignored them but he was drawn to them & loved them from the beginning! I feel that relationship & their interactions created an even better story than without them. The juxtaposition of the tough, black leather wearing, motorcycle rider & the tender, compassionate doctor/boyfriend was excellently described & written. I love the Whiskey family & cant wait for the next story!
You can’t go wrong with Melissa Foster! Can’t wait for this sexy standalone!
If I could give this book 10+ stars I would! I friggin LOVE, like LOVE the Whiskey family and Bones’ love story just the love I have for them. I laughed so much, I cried, and then I cried because my heart was hurting for the heroine Sarah. As a mother of little children, I could relate to her so much, not what she’d been through, but I could easily put myself in her shoes. She was strong, and she put her children’s well-being above ALL else. Bones definitely put in the work to get the girl in this book, and boy was he SWOONWORTHY….OMG….everything he did and said, and the way he went slow when she needed and the took charge when he knew she needed someone to just take the weight she carried for a little while….I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!
If you have not yet read Tru Blue and the Whiskeys, I urge you to 1-click like NOW!! These books are funny, yes, like SO SO FUNNY, but they touch on so much about life and love and family, and if you are a fan of Motorcycle romances, the Dark Knights are sexy, tough and have HUGE hearts of gold! Biggs Whiskey is such a great patriarch and the relationship between the Whiskey siblings (Dixie and Bones at the Toy Store…OMG) will have you wanting to join their family.
Read it, devour it, love it and then read it again. It’s funny, sexy, emotional and at time heart-wrenching, but it’s also beautiful. Bones definitely surprised me with his huge heart, and delicious smile, and protective nature.
GAHHHH…..WICKED WHISKEY LOVE is hands down one of the best reads of 2018!
