Fall in love with Bones Whiskey in WICKED WHISKEY LOVE, an emotionally riveting, sexy new standalone romance by New York Times bestselling author Melissa Foster. A magnificent love story for those who enjoy fiercely loyal and insanely sexy alpha heroes, smart, sassy heroines, families, bikers, babies, and more! In WICKED WHISKEY LOVE…After escaping abusive parents and, later, an abusive … abusive relationship, Sarah Beckley has spent a lifetime watching snakes shed their skin. With two small children to care for and another on the way, she’s finally found a home in Peaceful Harbor with the brother she hasn’t seen in more than a decade. She’s still searching for her sister, but life is good. If only she could stop thinking about the sinfully sexy doctor/biker who has taken to her children like a loving uncle-and to her like a hungry man.
Trust doesn’t come easily for Sarah, but Bones Whiskey is patient and protective, amazing with her children, and he looks at her like she is the only woman he could ever want-and more. With two little ones underfoot, Sarah expects him to move on quickly, yet with every tender kiss and each trying moment with the children, Bones surprises her. But will the fiercely loyal biker stick around when Sarah’s worst secret is revealed, or will he shed his skin, too?

I fell in love with Bones! He’s such a sweet man who is trying to show Sarah that he doesn’t plan on going anywhere and what you see is what you get. She’s been burned badly in the past and wants absolutely nothing to do with a man in her life.
Bones will do everything in his power to show Sarah the kind of man he is. She slowly starts to let him in but she’s petrified of what could happen if she’s wrong about him. Her brother tells her that Bones’ is a good man but she’s still scared. She’s been wrong before.
I absolutely loved this story!! I definitely need to take the time to read the first books in this series since I loved this one so much.
OMG I think Wayne (Bones) Whiskey has to be one of THE MOST perfect men Melissa Foster has ever written, and boy is that saying something! I could not have loved this story any more than I did. IT WAS AMAZING!!!! Bones, who is so sexy, a doctor and a member of the Dark Knights MC, has his sights set on Sarah from the moment he first met her. He doesn’t care that she is pregnant or that she already has two little ones. Actually he does care, so much, and that is what makes him so special. He has decided they belong to him and all he wants is to do is be there for them and love and protect them. Now if he can only convince Sarah to let him in as more than a friend and take a chance on him, on love. Her little ones, Bradley and Lila are just the sweetest. I adore them and love them all together as a family too. This is such a wonderfully sweet story that is so full of love, craziness, laughter, tenderness and most of all everything it means to be part of the WHISKEY/ DARK KNIGHTS family.

Oh, how I love the Whiskey brothers!
Wicked Whiskey Love is the fourth book in the Whiskeys series, and it tells the story of Bones Whiskey. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone romance, although I do recommend you start with the first book, Tru Blue. It’s not mandatory to understand the story, I just love them all and think you will too.
In this story, Bones is a doctor and a pretty calculated man. He usually puts a lot of research into anything that he does. So, when he sees Sarah and her two-plus children, he falls fast and hard. Sarah has been dealt some cruddy cards in life. She believes that good things usually don’t last long and that trouble is right around the corner. Can Sarah trust Bones, and can he handle Sarah and her children?
Wicked Whiskey Love’s storyline is sweet and touching with just enough steam to make you blush! I love all of the characters and especially enjoy reading the ones from Ms. Foster’s other books.
I can’t wait for the next in the series, Mad about Moon, which is Jed’s story and will be coming out in April 2019.

Wow! This book was filled with a little of everything! Angst throughout as Sarah’s story is revealed but ended with love overcoming everything. Sarah by far has lived a life of abuse and horror. Things only many of us could imagine. But she was strong and she fled. Bones has an instant attraction to her and his true Whiskey family nature shines through. He treads cautiously but pursues Sarah like no other. He supports her and helps her find peace with her past and move on. Definitely a must read in this series!
Audiobook Review… Reading this book was a wonderful amazing experience. Listening to it was even better. The characters came alive, the story was real, and I couldn’t get enough. I love the dual narrators. Both Erin Mallon and Zachary Webber are so talented. They take the words of Melissa Foster and bring her characters to life. I could feel their emotions, feel the angst, and feel their love. Whether you are an audiobook junkie like me or new to audio books this is the perfect listening experience for you.
Ebook review….Bones and Sarah…how much more perfect can a couple be? Sarah has “baggage” and I cringed when she called her life this but I can see how she thinks that. Every person has baggage it is what makes them who they are. Bones makes it his personal quest to prove this to Sarah while proving that he can be trusted with her baggage, her children, and her heart.
Bones, sigh. An oncologist who is part of a motorcycle club with big bad alpha brothers backing him up yet he is the sweetest, most romantic, and most loving man in the Whiskey family. I love how he connected with the kids while respecting Sarah’s need for control of her family. He talked to Sarah’s brother before taking their friendship farther so that he had his okay to move forward. He took her out on dates, took her to his bed, and then took her home so she could be there when the children woke in the morning. The thoughtfulness, the respect, and the love in Bones is so strong, so pure, and so beautiful that Sarah didn’t stand a chance.
Wicked Whiskey Love is Bones and Sarah’s story yet a lot of the book was a Whiskey Family story. Bullet, Bear, Tru, Bigg all are Whiskey’s and they are a prominent part of the story. Their spouses, their families, and their love all make up the life that Sarah and Bones are desperate to start. I loved catching up with the rest of the family and seeing how their worlds have righted since they met their forever loves.
Each book can be read as a standalone story but read together they are so much better. The reader will have a better understanding of the relationships of the brothers, the feel of family of the honorary brothers/sisters, and the love that is the Whiskey Family. My recommendation is to pick up a Whiskey book, meet the wonderful characters and then continue reading the rest of the series.
Gotta love the Whiskey Boys – especially Bones. His story is told here and he has his sights set on Sarah. Beautiful Sarah who is raising her 2 small children with one on the way. Bones can’t seem to make her believe he is here for the long term, but with his family and friends showing their love and support, he knows he can win her over.
An emotional book that will make you believe that dreams do come true.
The dirty doctor is in!!!
I knew I was going to love Bones and Sarah’s story after seeing bits of them together in the last Whiskey book. Bones is definitely a dirty doctor with a little secret hidden under his clothes . If you swooned with Tru taking care of the kids in his story, then hold on to your ovaries because they will explode with Bones taking care of Sarah’s kids.
Sarah’s backstory is very emotional. I lost track of the number of times that I found myself in tears. It was beautifully written and you couldn’t help but feel all the emotions Sarah was feeling. Besides the tears, there was plenty of times I was laughing out loud too.
The Whiskey’s are an amazing family and I fall more in love with all of them with each new book. I can’t wait for more!!
I feel like I’ve waited FOREVER for Bones story but wow was it worth the wait! As soon as I finished reading I messaged my closest romance friends and said if you haven’t read the Whiskey series start now because you do not want to miss Bones! It’s THAT good!!!!
Melissa Foster has done it again! She has an amazing way with words that manages to wrap a hero around our hearts time and time again, and Bones Whiskey is no exception! This story line was raw and packed with emotion as this seriously sexy man tries to prove to a wounded soul that she deserves the amazing goodness he and his family have to offer her. Great characters, major tugs on our heart strings, and a well-earned happily ever after … really enjoyed!
Single mom Sarah Beckley has trouble accepted help. In her past, there have always been strings attached and every time she started to think there wasn’t, ugliness reared it’s head and bit her again. She’s extremely thankful for the Whiskey family and all they’ve done for her family since the accident, and she’s trying really hard to let her guard down with them … especially Bones who her children simply adore and who makes her heart speed up every time he’s in the room.
Doctor, family man and member of the Dark Knight Motorcycle Club, Wayne “Bones” Whiskey can’t get Sarah and her little family out of his mind. Most men might be running for the hills when they lay eyes on a mom of two toddlers with a third baby on the way, but Bones is all in. He wants her … he wants them … he wants forever.
Wicked Whiskey Love is the fourth book in The Whiskeys series, but each book can be read as a standalone. In this one, we meet Sarah, a single mum of two with one on the way. Now she hasn’t had it easy, but we don’t find out the whole story all at once. Bones is the brother who plans, the one who checks out his options before making a move… until it came to Sarah and her children. Then he was all in from the get go.
This is an emotional book, both good and bad ones, that will have you laughing out loud and reaching for the kleenex too. Sarah’s story is a hard one, but Bones is there for her every step of the way, even when she tries to push him away. With cameo appearances from the rest of the family, this book not only managed to give me what I wanted for Bones, but also has left me hanging on for more. There are so many more characters I want stories for. The brothers are done, but what about Dixie? And Josie, and Quincey? Do I need to go on?
This really was an exceptional read, with no editing or grammatical errors that disrupted my reading flow. The pacing was smooth, and the characters fully rounded and diverse. I thought Tru Blue was my favourite, but now I’m hedging my bets with this one. Absolutely loved it, and can I say, that cover? Yum! There is a warning at the beginning of the book about an ovary explosion when Bones gets going. Heed the warning, girls, because he makes my heart melt!

Archaeolibrarian – I Dig Good Books!
Sarah Beckley needs something good to happen. But the further I read into this story I wonder if she just needs someone good to make all those things happen. Wayne “Bones” Whiskey is a man who seems to care a lot for those under his wing. He seems to be the total package.
Family plays an important part in this story. One thing family members love to do to each other is embarrass the hell out of us. In this book it’s bad for them but good for us since we get a really good laugh out of it. There are also memories that families create – some of which become bittersweet. Then we have Sarah’s children – they will melt your heart.
One panty-melting moment comes when you see how endearing Bones is around her children. It’s in a scene where I wished I had some pictures. But the author does such a great job in creating her scenes that I have no trouble imagining it- still want pictures though.
Sarah is an interesting woman – especially when she’s around Bones. Her filter seems to have disappeared. He’s good for her though because she has a chance to forget her troubles. But like any good mother her children are never far from her mind. Book boyfriend moment is when he doesn’t mind when her attention can get a little distracted.
I started off thinking this was going to be the sweetest of the Whiskey romances. No, this was a story that slowly builds the heat. Bones wants to gain Sarah’s trust while he slowly romances her. He does that to us too. I thought Driving Whiskey Wild was going to be my favorite but this book may have bumped that off the top of that list. The ending in this book melted my heart. Not sure how our author is going to top this one. Will have to think about reading this again as the holidays get closer. I may end up wanting to go to my local hospital and sit in the lobby waiting for Dr. Whiskey to go by.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
Every woman should have a Bones…what an AWESOME man and how he shows Sarah that love is patient and kind, yet sexy with a want and desire that only grows between them. How love doesn’t turn into something so horrific that you run from life. This book made me laugh, made me cry and gave me all the feels of two people walking the journey to the greatest side of life.
This story was so sweet and heartwarming! And Bones Whiskey? That man made me all melty inside. A feel-good story for sure!
5 Star Review of Wicked Whiskey Love (The Whiskeys #4) by Melissa Foster
I have read and enjoyed all the previous books in this series. Having said that, Wicked Whiskey Love can definitely be read as a stand alone. This was an emotional story that captivated me from the first to the last chapter.
From glimpses of Bones in the previous books I have eagerly been anticipating his book. I was not disappointed and I believe I have a new book boyfriend in Bones Whiskey; I just loved everything about him.
Sarah Beckley has had a hard life, first because of her abusive parents , then her abusive husband. Now pregnant and a mother to two young children she is struggling.
Putting down roots in Peaceful Harbor with her recently found brother, she is determined to change their lives. All she needs now is to find her missing sister and life will be good.
Sarah has fallen for the hot doctor/biker who has her children under his protection, but has difficulty trusting people. She cannot believe that Bones could be interested in her.
Sarah has no idea that the Whiskey family will protect her and her children no matter what. She is used to people who let her down and cannot fathom the love, support and loyalty that they offer freely.
I love this series, the characters are so well developed and Melissa Foster’s writing so
descriptive that I feel as though I am apart of the Whiskey family and Peaceful Harbour.
It is a story of love, hope and friendship, of family, not always related by blood and one which I highly recommend.
This is the fourth book in Melissa Foster’s The Whiskeys series but can most definitely be read as a standalone and still be enjoyed. It’s the story of Bones Whiskey (Dr. Bones) and once you start this book, you will not want to put it down. Sarah is relatively new to town, pregnant with her 3rd child and very much has her secrets that no one in town knows about. There is a clear attraction between Sarah and the doctor and the more time they spend together, the more Sarah begins to trust him. The relationship between Bones and Sarah is such a fun read, and (almost) even better is the relationship between Bones and Sarah’s two children. Sarah is working very hard to overcome her past (she has lots of secrets) and worries that once they are known (by Bones and others) that they will look at her differently and all that she has been working for, will be lost. Will they be able to overcome both of their pasts and let their relationship grow into something more?
If you’ve read ANYTHING from Melissa Foster previously, you know you will not be disappointed. It’s another fantastic love story that has you on the edge of your seat to see if these two can truly find true love.
Melissa Foster has the perfect descriptive voice to tackle difficult issues. Her characters embody the spirit and lives of ordinary people. In Wicked Whiskey Love, Ms. Foster takes on challenging subjects of verbal and physical abuse, daily struggles of the homeless and the challenges of single motherhood. She presents these issues in an honest, compassionate, caring way.
Melissa Foster portrays Sarah Beckley as a survivor, not as a victim. This plot choice drew me into the story. I wanted Sarah to have it all- her family, career and the love of a good man. Sarah’s story unfolds bit by bit during the story. She didn’t have many choices or opportunities until she came to Peaceful Harbor. Through her conversations with Bones and the woman at the homeless shelter, it’s apparent that her children are her priority.
At first, I thought that Wayne “Bones” Whiskey was not the perfect choice for Sarah. I was wrong. Bones appears to be an introvert—he’s very different from his brothers. He is kind and compassionate and very romantic. His story and his choices are revealed during the novel. Loved the scenes when he met with his cancer patient, Wendy. Bones realizes that both Wendy and Sarah put their children first and then take the time to sort through their issues. Single moms have different priorities whether they are working to make ends meet or fighting aggressive cancer.
One of my favorite chapters is when Sarah accompanies Bones to the homeless shelter. She reaches out to Tracey and a few other women and shares her story. Sarah’s gift to these women was hope. By sharing her story she wanted her new friends to know that they could overcome their issues and fears and that not all relationships were abusive. Sarah’s story of hope and the capacity for forgiveness is a powerful message for all of us.
I loved how the Whiskey clan supported Sarah and her children and welcomed them into their family. Sarah’s children Bradley and Lila brought a lot of love and light into the story. The last few chapters of the novel are well-paced; several issues that have haunted Sarah and Bones are resolved. I loved the last few pages of the novel—it’s full of hope, joy and Whiskeys!
The characters and their journey stayed with me for days. Sarah’s story of hope and forgiveness is the perfect message for all of us! Thank you Melissa Foster for another amazing novel!
I think that there should be a disclaimer in each Whiskey book written by Melissa Foster: Warning: cute babies, strong women and crazy family and don’t forget biker men in Halloween costumes, buy tissues and be prepare to laugh and cry a river.
I was waiting for Wayne Whiskey and Sarah’ story and it did not disappointed me.
Sarah has been through enough in her life and has some major trust issues.
Wayne “Bones” Whiskey is the perfect person to understand her and win her heart. After all, who wouldn’t.
For me personally, the great asset in this book is to talk about how women are being treated in our society. We are a “majority-minority” since even though our numbers are bigger but we still suffer violence, bigotry and hate. In this book we can read a little hope and how we can empower ourselves to teach our children (no matter what genre) that we can treat humans (no matter what genre) better and make a better society.
Since book 1 in the Whiskeys series I have been dying to read Wayne “Bones” Whiskeys story. Admittedly I wasn’t sure how I was going to like the fact that Sarah was pregnant with two other kids being his love interest, but her past and her story with Bones was told in true Melissa style. She took a sensitive subject of the physical and emotional abuse that Sarah had gone through and told it in my eyes, with tact in a respectful way.
This is one rollercoaster read full of emotion, love and everything in between. Sarah is a strong woman, though she’s doesn’t fully realise it and when Bones shows how caring, respectful and supportive he is, she finally let’s him in and boy what a story they create.
Wicked whiskey love had me crying and whilst it is an emotional heart-breaking read it is also heart warming at the same time.
This is right up there with Tru Blue sharing the top spot of my fave Melissa Foster book’s!
In fantasies, LOVE is supposed to be “soft as an easy chair” and “fresh as the morning air” (from Barbra Streisand’s Evergreen) but that is just in fantasies. Sarah and her children have survived unspeakable hardships. For her, LOVE was not real or in any way easy. All she has known throughout her life is abuse, physical and verbal. All she knows is that she can count on her strength and her brother. People normally always want something beyond what they say they want.
When the Whiskey family helped her and her family survive the car accident, she was amazed to find out there is goodness and loyalty to be found. This family took them in and helped them heal and get back on their feet. And, although she has had a difficult time trusting, now she has come to believe Dr. “Bones” Whiskey is the most loyal and amazing man she has ever met.
This is their love journey. From being strangers to finally looking at each other with trust and understanding. But this journey is full of secrets and a past that haunts and threatens Sarah and her children. Get your tissues ready and be prepared to give your heart to this amazing love story.
I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I thank the author for sharing a copy with me.
4.5 Dr. Dreamy stars
Wicked Whiskey Love is my first ever Melissa Foster book and it just slayed me. Bones and Sarah’s story was just as heart-melting as it was heart-rending. I didn’t expect how intensely emotional Sarah Beckley’s past would be or how swoon-worthy Bones Whiskey’s alpha tendencies would be. Nor did I see the sheer adorableness of Sarah’s three-year-old son, Bradley, and 11-month-old daughter, Lila, coming.
“I want to make love to you until I feel every beat of your heart, and until every breath you take joins with mine.”
I actually loved Bones Whiskey. I loved his sweet and tender, albeit protective streak. He was definitely an alpha through and through, but one with a golden heart. Looking from the outside, he’s probably some kind of grizzly bear you’ll want to steer clear of. But deep inside, he’s a huge teddy bear who will do everything he can for the people who matter the most to him—his family, the brotherhood, and Sarah and the kids. Not to mention, he’s also a freaking doctor. This biker saves lives and I’m all for it!
Sarah Beckley, on the other hand, had a very rough start in life. I couldn’t even fathom the things she went through. Being a single mom to two kids and with another peanut on the way is tough enough, but this girl… she was both an angel and a warrior. She showed time and again just how brave and strong she was to pull through every curveball life threw her way and care for her kids at the same time. With every piece of her past she revealed, I thought things couldn’t have gotten any worse, yet she continued to prove me wrong. It did get worse, but that was until she ended up with the Whiskey brothers. With the Dark Knights. And it was the best thing to ever happen to her. She just needed to lower her guards back down, learn how to trust again, and let Bones in.
“Sometimes it’s not the length of time you’ve known someone that matters. It’s what they see and appreciate in you that others never have.”
Wicked Whiskey Love wasn’t as dark or gritty as the other MC romances I’m used to reading—it was more on the sweeter side as it focused more on the history and life of the heroine, and how she fit into the Dark Knights MC that Bones belongs to—but I definitely felt all the emotions jumping off the pages of this book. I enjoyed getting to know the characters, and it certainly intrigued me enough about the other brothers that I just want to binge on the previous books and know their stories right away.
