Fall in love with Bones Whiskey in WICKED WHISKEY LOVE, an emotionally riveting, sexy new standalone romance by New York Times bestselling author Melissa Foster. A magnificent love story for those who enjoy fiercely loyal and insanely sexy alpha heroes, smart, sassy heroines, families, bikers, babies, and more! In WICKED WHISKEY LOVE…After escaping abusive parents and, later, an abusive … abusive relationship, Sarah Beckley has spent a lifetime watching snakes shed their skin. With two small children to care for and another on the way, she’s finally found a home in Peaceful Harbor with the brother she hasn’t seen in more than a decade. She’s still searching for her sister, but life is good. If only she could stop thinking about the sinfully sexy doctor/biker who has taken to her children like a loving uncle-and to her like a hungry man.
Trust doesn’t come easily for Sarah, but Bones Whiskey is patient and protective, amazing with her children, and he looks at her like she is the only woman he could ever want-and more. With two little ones underfoot, Sarah expects him to move on quickly, yet with every tender kiss and each trying moment with the children, Bones surprises her. But will the fiercely loyal biker stick around when Sarah’s worst secret is revealed, or will he shed his skin, too?

I loved Bones. For a while now and here was my chance to learn more about him and his love chance with audio. I fell in love with Bones from the first chapter. He was the ultimate package lusting after one woman and adoring her children. He knew this one woman was it for him. No matter if she accepted him or not. She was his. He would respect her wishes on the matter and he would cherish her regardless the outcome.
There were some of the most heartfelt moments and memories created. There were the good, the bad, the painful, the down right ugly/beautiful/terrifying. Seeing someone you love beyond words be terrorized and coming to their defense puts something in to perspective. This Whiskey loved his woman and her children. He was not going to let anyone, no one harm them or even scare them. You get to see the protective streak of the whole MC and Bullet steps up and makes a decision Bones can’t deny.
The Narration duo brings to life the story that I already fell in love with when I read it. I would not change a thing.

I Loved Wicked Whiskey
Read: 12/28/18
Wicked Whiskey Love was the fourth book in the Whiskeys series by Melissa Foster.
We met Sarah Beckley in Driving Whiskey Wild, book three, when Bullet saved a family from a burning car in a horrific accident. We quickly learned that Sarah was a single mother to two children with one on the way. When the Whiskey’s learned she had no one other than those in the hospital with her, they rallied around her and she instantly became family. We learned quickly that she was guarded and cautious; most likely running from something.
Wayne “Bones” Whiskey was the local oncologist. He was also born and raised as part of the Dark Knights MC and being a protector was ingrained in him from birth. The moment he met Sarah and her kids, he knew she was the one. His protective instincts kicked in and the next months were spent developing a friendship with the skittish and cautious Sarah.
I really liked the storyline. It was well written, well developed and entertaining. It had a serious vibe with Sarah’s past; however, Foster mixed in humor, especially through the children. Foster also included all of the Whiskey clan as a vital part of the plot, adding depth and dimension. Additionally, for the first time in the series, Foster introduced us to a deeper look into the Dark Knights. It was very different from my typical MC reads and it was most definitely not a 1% club, but the same level of bonding, commitment and loyalty was present.
All in all, it was an enjoyable and refreshing read. While developing the storyline, Foster continued to tease us with future stories for Dixie, Scott, Penny, Isabelle, Jed and Quincy. Mad About Moon is up next with Jed and Josie’s story. Bring it on!
I listened to the audio version of this book. This series by Melissa Foster is much more intense than the other series I’ve read by her and I totally love the difference. The Whiskey men are tattooed (and in some cases pierced), motor cycle riding men who stand up to protect those who aren’t able to help themselves. They also have a super soft side when it comes to their women, their children and the others that they love. It’s hard to even describe how these books warm up certain parts of your body and turn others to total mush. I really hope Ms. Foster continues to do more of this type of book.
The dual narration of Wicked Whiskey Love by Erin Mallon and Zachary Webber was incredible. They pairing rivaled the Arndt and York. I especially appreciated the sexy slowness of Webber and the dynamics used by Mallon. The pair were just wonderful to listen to and the performance added so much to the story! Just a great job all the way around.
I LOVE the Whiskey’s!! This is Bones and Sarah’s story and it is touchingly emotional, sweet AND sexy and filled with loads of heart. Bones is a perfect hero with all his understanding of human nature and protectiveness as a Dark Knight. Sarah is a VERY strong woman that was dealt crap most of her life and all she wants is to show her children love and keep them from harm. In my opinion these two were made for each other. I did NOT want this story to end, it was that good!!
Melissa Foster is amazing!! I can’t get enough of her books. They are hot but all about family. They make you feel like your part of them.
this made me want to read the rest of the “Whiskeys”
Absolutely loved this book!
I enjoyed the characters in this book. Bones, the hero, was a romantic, too-good-to-be-true man who apparently could fit 27 hours of doing good/right into a 24 hour day. While a bit unrealistic that any individual could do all he did, it was still sweet. Sarah, the heroine, was a wary, strong, single mother and a likable character. I liked the fact that the children in the story didn’t show up in the first couple of chapters and then basically disappear for the rest of the book. It’s an easy, enjoyable read.
It was so repetitive I just could not finish it.
started slow, but finally picked up and ended wanting more.
Ms. Foster delivered up another book I could not put down. Bones will go to the very top of your book boyfriend list. You can’t help but fall in love with him. The Whiskeys Series deals with darker parts of human nature than most Foster series but it pulls you in even more. Bones devotion to Sarah and her kids is unwavering. Sarah is so much stronger than most women would be in her shoes. I have loved the Whiskey family so much and I can’t wait to see more of them.
I enjoy this series but this book needed additional depth of female character. I’ll stick wth the author because most of her books are very good.
I loved this book, it saw past stereotypical attitudes and shined the light on pure grit and determination. It demonstrated that there is nothing that we won’t do to protect our children and ensure their lives are happy, loving and safe. Reminding us that there are good people in the world that will have our backs at times when we need it most is a message that we can’t hear enough. Melissa is a master at crafting a love story full of heat, desire and fulfillment! Love this series just like all of her others!!
I knew from the moment I read River of Love more than two years ago that I was going to fall in love with Bones Whiskey. Of course, I was intrigued by the whole Whiskey family at that time…and I still am. These books are my favorite Melissa Foster books, and that’s saying a lot.
Bones and Sarah have such a unique chemistry. Yes, there is heat and sizzle, but there is also a feeling of coming home. If that doesn’t make sense to you, read this story and it will. Not only does Bones make Sarah feel safe and protected just by being in the same room as her, but Sarah also settles Bones. She makes him feel complete. That line was cheesy, I know. But it’s so true.
It’s not only Sarah that gives Bones these feelings, it’s her whole package. Kids (and kid to be) and all. As a mom myself, his acceptance and patience with her kids melted me into a pile of goo. I felt as though Bones was falling in love with the kids at the same time he was falling in love with Sarah. Not as though he fell for Sarah and realized he had to get on board with the kids to make things work, as is often the case in this type of story.
Of course, the whole Whiskey family is amazing in this story as they are in all of the stories. We also get to know Sarah’s brother and see glimpses of her sister, both of whom should have extremely interesting stories in the future. Sarah and her siblings did not have an easy go of things and they really bring another facet to this series that is important to tell while also being heartbreaking.
The only thing wrong with this series is having to wait for the next book.

I am a huge fan of the Braden Family series books but the more I read the Whiskeys, they are slowing becoming my favorites. Bones is the sweets man for loving those kids like they were his own plus everything he does for Sarah melts my heart. Yes, I wanted to slap Sarah a couple of times but I do understand where she was coming from. Sarah couldn’t ask for a better person in her life. Tears were shed in this book both of sadness and happiness. Looking forward to Jeb and Josie book.
I think I’ve fallen in love – all over again. What a yummy character Bones is and as for Sarah and her kids, they are amazing.
As usual, a really well told story that kept me turning pages and I am certainly happy to recommend this book.
While this book is not my 1st Melissa Foster book (I have read them all) it is now tied with Truly, Madly, Whiskey as my favorite book (I cannot choose between the 2).
Wicked Whiskey Love is a phenomenal book. It is the story about a woman (Sarah) who has had one of the worst lives imaginable (except for her children) and the Dr. (Bones) who supports her, cherishes her, helps her heal and believe in the love he has for her. My favorite line in this book is: “I want to make love to you until I feel every beat of your heart”; it makes me melt.
Melissa write the most wonderful of stories that make you laugh, cry and sigh with longing. She also deals with some of the toughest situations in the most honest, informative, caring and supportive of ways. Her characters are truly incredible. I fall in love with each of the wickedly funny, strong, sexy, alpha men she creates. I’m in awe of the women she creates; they are strong (some with more inner strength than outer strength), supportive and sexy. I wish I could be more like them.
Though this book is a sexy stand-alone story (with a HEA); I highly encourage you to at least read the other Whiskey stories (1: Tru Blue, 2: Truly, Madly, Whiskey, 3: Driving Whiskey Wild) to enhance your enjoyment of this story.
*5 Stars*
ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.
Whilst this isn’t my first Whiskey book, I’m not up to date with the series either. BUT, I think this one will be my fave, if not it’s going to be high up there, because how on earth can you beat Bones Whiskey? There is some high level swoon going on in this book.
Bones is everything. Literally. Everything. Good lord almighty I need to find me a man like that. He’s smart, sexy, protective, he accepts Sarah AND her kids, and just, gah! I’m at a loss for words, this character is just that good.
Sarah is also a strong female with lead, with a horrible backstory and history. For her to come through what she has, and to learn to trust Bones, whilst making a better life for herself and her children is a hell of an accomplishment, and no one should EVER, have to go through what this character has. There is a lot of truth behind her character, compared to our real world, and it’s horrible that others truly do go through this things in their lives. I can only hope they come on the other side on top.
We also get all the rest of the Whiskey family, who you can’t help but love, and I truly enjoy all their family moments, and the bonds that they all have. Scott, Sarahs brother is in this too, and I can’t help but hope he’s getting his own book soon, due to some of the, what I hope were hints, dropped in this one. I want to know more about he and Sarah’s other sister Josie as well, and I think we shall be seeing more of her in the future too.
And then there are Bradley and Lila. Those damned kids are adorable. I was swooning over Bones and his care and love towards these adorable little monkeys, and they are the cutest things ever! I loved how much they were a part of this story.
Melissa is also great at not dragging out any unneeded angst, and dealing with situations between our couples in a thought out, detailed, yet wonderful way, and I love that she deals with things in this particular way. Its plays out just right and has no unnecessary parts.
This was such a great book that I devoured it in about 24 hours, and I cannot wait for more from this family. Hold on to your hats ladies, because Bones Whiskey is one amazing man, and you’re going to be swooning all over the place with this one!
Wicked Whiskey Love is the first of the Whiskey series that I have read. I love reading and following Bones and Sarah’s story as he helps Sarah know that he is there for her and loves her and her children. I love the depth of the characters in the story and look forward to reading more from this series.
Wow!! After this fantastic read I need to know where I can find my own Bones Whiskey? Let me start off by saying the whole Whiskey family is full of amazing characters I couldn’t help but love but Bones definitely stole the show.
Bones Whiskey is what I think of as a dream man- kind, considerate, loving, supportive and willing to do whatever is necessary for those he loves. Sarah was a dedicated mother and so much stronger than she realized. I loved watching all the relationships develop throughout this story. Sarah and her family found everything they never realized they were missing until they arrived in Peaceful Harbor. Some of my favorite scenes were the ovary exploding interactions between Bones and Sarah’s children.
Wicked Whiskey Love is a funny, sexy, and emotional pageturner that left me with a huge smile on my face and excited to see what’s in store next for the Whiskey family!
