It all started with a wedding… is.
Brynne Adams is running away from a broken heart. She expected a lot of things from her wedding day but finding photos of her fiancé and maid of honor and best man in a compromising position wasn’t one of them. She most certainly never imagined that she’d end up marrying the handsome stranger that rescued her from the side of the road that day.
Andrew and Brynne’s quick nuptials may have been the result of a drunken joke, but they soon realize that love can be found in the most unlikely of places if you just stop and take a chance.

Wicked Wedding is the fourth book in the Left at the Alter series which is a collaboration with five other other authors. It’s is also part of the Wicked Horse: Vegas series! That is the series that introduced me to Andrew. Damn…that was a hot book! You do not need to read it before you read Wicked Wedding but I do recommend Wicked Envy since it was so delicious.
Who would have thought that after running from their wedding that you would be hitchhiking and being picked up by a handsome stranger who you end up marrying on the same night. Yeah…nobody saw it coming. Especially Andrew and Brynne. But it did and now it was time to figure out what was next. Andrew lived in Vegas. Brynne lived in San Diego where her dentistry practice was. The one she shared with her now ex-fiancé and ex-best friend. The ones who slept together along with the best man the night before the wedding. Awkward is right.
Andrew knows a thing or two but threesomes but that was in the past. After a night with Brynne he wanted her in his future. It might sound crazy but he was drawn to her and luckily she felt the same way. They never felt like strangers. They felt like old friends seeing each other again after years apart. It was epic and they didn’t want it to end. But, as reality sets in, can they make it work? Two different cities. Two different pasts. What will happen if she finds out about how close Andrew, Avril, and Dane were before Avril and Dane fell in love?
I loved Andrew in Wicked Wedding and I was so excited to find out that he was getting his own book. He deserves love and happiness. And Brynne is a welcome surprise! She wasn’t part of the Wicked Horse family. She is sexy and adventurous but not one to take on a membership. I love the members but it was fun to have a book outside of that setting too.
Overall…it was an adventurous, sexy, and fun ride! I loved the characters. The story. The heat. The love. The friendships. I am excited to see what is up next!
Quotes:
“You’re in a vulnerable situation. You’re going to get drunk. I can’t decide if I should flirt or not.”
“I’ve dreamed a lot about you this past week, but nothing is as good as seeing you in person,” he murmurs, stepping over my threshold without invitation and shutting the door behind him.
“So you’ll come?” I press, pulling her back into me.
“Have you failed to make me yet?” she teases, and my cock jumps.
We met Andrew Collings in the book Wicked Envy, which ended up being Dane and Avril’s love story even though Drew was heavily involved in their story line. Now it is time for Drew to get his own happy ending.
Drew just finished throwing his best friends, Dane and Avril, the best wedding reception that money can buy. He truly is happy that they found love. On his way back to his condo from the reception, Drew sees a woman, in a bridal gown along the highway wanting to hitchhike. Drew decides to stop and offer his help.
Brynne Adams is pissed. Having just found out minutes before her wedding ceremony that her fiance cheated on her with her maid of honor AND his best man in a threesome, Brynne bolts out of the church and needs to get out of dodge. While riding with Drew, she gets a feeling of safety. She can’t explain it, but she knows it’s the right decision to be with him now. Drew proposes that they go get stinking drunk so that she will feel better. While drunk, Drew also proposes that they go get married….why waste a beautiful wedding gown, plus he still had his tux on. They find out they can get it annulled in 2o days, so they go for it.
What neither of them expected was that they would both end up falling hard for the other. Everything was perfect and magical, even the sex…until Brynne finds out Drew’s little secret. It takes a lot of love and a huge leap of faith for Brynne to be able get past Drew’s little omission. In the end, love wins out and Drew and Brynne get their happy ever after!
I just loved this story! Both of these characters were so fun. I just love a nerdy, sexy guy and Brynne fit his personality perfectly! Great sexy, fun read!
***4.5 ‘Team Drew’ Stars***
So, #fangirl here so I jumped at the opportunity to read this baby and then went “Andrew…Andrew…wait do I…” yeah total brain fart going on, but in my defense I read a shitton…so I did what any good reader/reviewer would do when faced with this issue, I searched my reviews until I found HIM and hit myself upside the head because I LOVED Drew! And with that issue out of the way I dove in and lemme tell you it brought out all the feels from start to finish!
I adored Drew. OMG this man just did it for me on all levels. He was alpha AF in all the best ways possible, compassionate, protective, ruthless and smexy as all get out. Brynne, honestly I adored her, even if there was one moment of wanting to Gibbs smack her hard. But outside of that, she was sassy, strong and had an adventurous soul just waiting to be released.
Their journey is definitely a unique one, but what is apparent from the very beginning is that there is something tangible happening between them. I loved their bantering, the way the smexy between them turned all kinds of nuclear and how there was a simple flow between them even as they worked to get to know each other. But then things went sideways. Now, it wasn’t a surprise at all. It’s something that is put out there right from the start and though I prepared for it, I didn’t prepare enough. So to say that I was totally #TeamDrew is a understatement. I couldn’t help it. As much as I understood where Brynne was coming from…well, I couldn’t back her, I did want them together, but she needed to woman up and in the end, I am very good with how things turned out.
This was a fun, quick and oh so smexy read, even if I wanted to gut a few people with a spoon, I still enjoyed it because I got to see Drew, Dane and Avril truly get the HEA’s they deserved!

I didn’t realize when I first started this book that it was part of a series by various authors with a” Wedding theme”.This book is Sawyer Bennett’s and it is part of her Wicked series. I really enjoyed this one. A one night stand, an unexpected wedding, and an issue that totally needs to be resolved before the HEA kept me reading this book for hours on end. It was totally a one sitting read for me. I love the way Sawyer Bennett paints her stories so realistically that they live like a movie In my mind. Her characters, especially Brynne and Drew in this book, were three dimensional for me, and I really enjoyed their journey. Great read!
This is a steamy and sexy read. If you have read the Wicked Horse series, you will remember Andrew Collings from Wicked Horse Las Vegas # 3. On his way home from his friends wedding, he spots a runaway bride hitchhiking along the road. He stops and offers Brynne a ride. They hit it off and while drunk impetuously decide to get married. What should have been a quickie wedding and annulment becomes something more. However, Andrew is keeping a secret that could derail their blossoming relationship. Their sexual chemistry is of the charts, it heats up the pages of this book. This is vintage Sawyer and she again delivers a fast paced and entertaining read. Advanced copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.
This being my first book by Sawyer bennett, I would assume that the wicked series is in some way connected to the club -Wicked Horse. With that in mind I was expecting hot sex, some angst and real interesting plot.
I was highly satisfied on all three counts. Sawyer sure knows how to cook all the sexy and spicy dish with just the right amount of angst clamouring it. The story starts with a stunner and progresses to an unexpected twist, in the hands of a lesser author this would make it unbelievable but I was so into it, I jumped up and said YES!!!. Her writing style is very smooth and fast paced, story is flawless and engrossing.
The characters of Andrew Collings and Brynne Adams meet in a bizarre spot in a bizarre situation and she’s running from a betrayed wedding and he’s coming from a blessed wedding. Both happen to be on the same stretch of road at the same time, it’s serendipitous !!
“ There goes years of planning this dress to be worn to the wedding of my dreams. Flushed down the toilet by an asshole and a whore.”
They end up together that night..and the next…and the next.
What starts as a closure turns into new beginning.
I loved sawyer’s style, her outlook at taboo and her untangling of the jumble all 6 of the people involved.
I loved Brynne, any girl who likes pineapple on pizza is my auto-fave!!
“pineapple belongs on a pizza.”
“Sweet and salty,” I exclaim. “It’s the best of all taste combinations. It’s like chocolate-covered bacon.”
You tell them girl!!
I love the alpha take-charge guy that Drew is, he is very sure about his feelings and uncompromising stance on his past. His friendships bonds are strong and unbreakable. In that sense I loved Avril and Dane, I’d like to go back to their book actually!!
Here’s to more of her books . “3 cheers” Sawyer!
4.5 stars for various types of Menages
4 stars
Every since Wicked Envy I wanted Andrew’s story, and Wicked Wedding didn’t disappoint.
Any Sawyer fan will love Andrew and Brynne, how the come together and how the stay together, and embrace their differences.
While technically a Wicked Horse book, it’s an ease into the series that can be read as a stand alone.

The runaway bride aspect of this story caught my interest first, but I am not a huge fan of insta-love so I approached with caution. Given that Sawyer Bennett wrote this story, I should have known better than to worry! I loved how naturally Andrew and Brynne clicked from the first moment they met.
I will admit it took me a minute to remember why I knew Andrew’s name, but as soon as I started the first chapter it all came rushing back to me from Wicked Envy! He definitely needed to find his own HEA and Wicked Wedding is a wonderful way to get him there.
Brynne has been betrayed in a horrible way by her fiance and her supposed best friend, and Andrew comes along at just the right time to help her make her escape from the hurt and drama. Vegas is a great town to escape reality, so when Andrew comes up with a plan to see that Brynne’s dream dress doesn’t go to waste while allowing them to have a whole lot of hot fun -albeit temporarily- she lets her adventurous streak come through to agree to his plan.
When morning arrives, they follow the plan but decide to keep in touch. Neither expected to enjoy the other’s company so much, but Brynne has to go back to California to try to sort out her life and Drew has to leave for a business trip. Fortunately he is extremely wealthy so a little thing like long distance is not a huge problem in terms of seeing each other again. UNfortunately Brynne has a pretty close minded view of threesomes and sex clubs- so while he has no desire to introduce her to that part of his past, he struggles with whether he should tell her about it. Of course that decision will eventually resolve itself and leads to a bit of emotional upheaval!
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed Wicked Wedding. Ms. Bennett brings us a great combination of heat and humor as Drew and Brynne fall in love, and she does it in a way that does not feel like insta-love despite the time frame in which they get to know each other. I loved seeing more of Avril and Dane from Wicked Envy too, but if you have not read that story, you can absolutely read this book as a standalone so don’t hesitate to dive in!
Finally, Andrew’s story! Super hot, super romantic and a lot different to the other Wicked books, it was so great to see Andrew get his HEA! Loved seeing Avril and Dane throughout the book as well!
Fans of the Wicked Horse series will remember Andrew from the Wicked Envy story and I’m sure be as excited as I am to finally get his story. If you haven’t read the series, first – why the heck not! Second, no worries this book easily stands on its own. It’s a fabulous story that is all kinds of heartwarming and sexy.
After leaving the wedding reception of his two best friends and business partners in full swing, Andrew Collings is shocked by what he sees on the side of the road. The most beautiful woman he has ever seen is standing there in a gorgeous wedding dress, hitchhiking. Of course he has to stop. He gladly gives her a ride into Vegas but instead of just dropping her off they hit the bar together. Vegas being Vegas all sorts of drunken crazy begins after that!
Definitely a must read. I highly recommend.
WICKED WEDDING by Sawyer Bennett is book Four in the Left at the Altar series. This is the story of Andrew Collings and Brynne Adams. I haven’t yet read the previous books, so for me this was a standalone book.
Brynne was set to be married but after seeing pictures of fiancé with her maid of honer along with the best man in a compromising scene she makes a run for it. This is where Andrew comes along and saves her. One meeting leads them to end up being married…only temporary after their night of craziness. But the more they get to know each other, the more their attraction gets stronger and their feelings do too.
Really enjoyed this book and hopefully will get the chance to go back an read the previous book.
While this can be read as a standalone, it is a must read for Wicked Horse fans. We’ve all begged for Andrew’s book. This did not disappoint. It had all the deliciously dirty things we love and expect but with all the feels too.
Wicked Wedding is the fourth book in the Left at the Alter Series. The Left at the Altar series is being written by 6 different authors. Here is the order.
Book 1 – TEMPORARY GROOM by J.S. Scott
Book 2 – ALMOST A WEDDING by Ruth Cardello
Book 3 – HUSBAND MATERIAL by Raine Miller
Book 4 – WICKED WEDDING by Sawyer Bennett
Book 5 – BAD BLOOD by M. Malone
Book 6 – SECOND CHANCES by Melody Anne
These books are all Standalone Novella’s but, can be a spin-off from the authors own series and Wicked Wedding is a part of The Wicked Horse Vegas Series.
What happens when your soon to be husband is screwing your BFF. What do you do? Become a runaway bride. Get picked up in your wedding dress. Get drunk out of your mind. Get married and screw your brains out. That is what happens to Andrew Collings and Brynne Adams.
I loved reading Wicked Wedding! Sawyer Bennett really knows how to write a sexy romp! Lord knows I found myself fanning myself a few times.
I am looking forward Bad Blood by M. Malone book #5. I am also looking forward to the next book that Sawyer Bennett writes because her books are must reads!
Just when you think you have your life all figured out, fate steps in and throws a curve ball. Brynne and Andrew are that for each other. A second chance to hopefully get it right. Two strangers let down by love find consolation in each other’s arms. Wicked Wedding is the cherry on top of that much longed for ice cream sundae. Sawyer Bennett takes a bite out of heartache and adds a tasty helping of happily ever after. Revenge may be best served cold, but the temptation is hot with Ms. Bennett at the helm.
I like how much of a man he is. The type that is your straight talker, honest, caring, a great friend, problem solver and a great lover. Jumping right into a relationship could feel rushed for everyone else but to Andrew it feels right because he really feels like he has a connection with Brynne. Even with the knowledge that they have some differences that could bring trouble to what they are building together in the process of getting to know each other. Something I love and I know you will too is that the story brings out your emotions. I was so mad and actually pissed at her for being so short minded and judgmental towards him, at a point where she just didn’t understand and was blinded by hurt. I wanted to grab her through the book and shake her to reason. But the story doesn’t concentrate on bad emotions, other scenarios like when they are having fun together will bring out of you a very good feeling because it turns out to be a very romantic book.
What really surprised me was the way he handled the situations he encountered. I admired the way he reacted to the problem at hand and I really liked how the author touched the subject of shame for what has been done in the past, and if he is actually supposed to feel it or not. He deserves the best and I really like reading in this book the process where Brynne is mature enough to accept her faults so that she can become the best for him. Plus his attitude and his dirty mouth is really entertaining.
A wickedly sexy story that you will not want to put down! Ashley @ Carolina Chic ‘s Read
Loved this story yes it was quirky and unusual but I think that makes it all the better. Great fast read that I could not put down. Two characters who left weddings get married on a whim. Will they get the marriage annulled or will something take hold like the spark that started this crazy journey?
ADDICTING!!! This whole Sawyer Bennett series is just electrifying. Actually I love and devour every Sawyer book, but this series opens you up to a whole new world of wild kinkery!!! The feels though, brought out and examined, choked me up, and left me feeling happy! Loved that we finally get Andrew’s story and Man O Man is it a good one. Paying for the sins of the Ex, was not something that was planned or counted on, but getting an even better outcome was wonderful!
Love the Wicked Horse Series! Cannot wait for more!
She was walking down the side of the road in a wedding dress. He was just leaving a wedding. He stops, she gets in and they go get married. What could go wrong? If you read Sawyer Bennett then you will love it. If you haven’t read a Sawyer Bennett book you should. Just know that her Wicked books all have some wild and kinky sex. So beware if you are into sweet books.
**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title in exchange for an honest review**
I’ve been a fan of the Wicked Horse series for some time, so I was excited when I learned we would be getting the story of Andrew “Drew” Collings, who we met in Wicked Envy. His story was definitely worth the wait. And, even though this book can be read as a standalone, you may find it more enjoyable if you’ve read Wicked Envy first as there are things from that book that are referenced.
Drew has just left the wedding reception of his best friends, and business partners, Dane and Avril. On his way back to his condo, he finds a beautiful, yet steaming mad, woman walking along the side of the road in none other than a wedding dress. He pulls over to see if he can help.
Brynne Adams has every right to be mad. She was supposed to get married, but just before the ceremony she found out her fiance was cheating not only with the maid of honor, but the best man as well. She was having none of that, so hitchhiking it was.
When Drew and Brynne spend time together, Drew decides to give Brynne what she has wanted all her life – the wedding of her dreams. While the plan is to get married and then immediately get it annulled 20 days later, things in life generally go the way you plan.
Drew and Brynne begin to genuinely fall for one another and while their relationship is not without bumps in the road, the biggest comes when Brynne discovers a secret from Drew’s past. Will they be able to get past the omission that Drew has knowingly made?
I really enjoyed how this relationship unfolded and how these two characters fit together. They really just seemed to “get” one another. I also was happy that we got to visit with Dane and Avril again as well. This was a fun, sexy read and one that I would highly recommend!
Another absolutely amazing book by the talented Sawyer Bennett. After being in a 3 way relationship with his 2 best friends, Drew ventures out on his own. Does what happen in Vegas really stay in Vegas? Vegas, booze, women. What could possibly go wrong? Get this book and find out.
