It all started with a wedding… is.
Brynne Adams is running away from a broken heart. She expected a lot of things from her wedding day but finding photos of her fiancé and maid of honor and best man in a compromising position wasn’t one of them. She most certainly never imagined that she’d end up marrying the handsome stranger that rescued her from the side of the road that day.
Andrew and Brynne’s quick nuptials may have been the result of a drunken joke, but they soon realize that love can be found in the most unlikely of places if you just stop and take a chance.

Andrew Collings seems to feel left out. You have to feel sorry for him. Brynne Adams has the day from hell but there’s someone who sets out to change that. It was interesting to watch our author’s creativity at work. All from a conversation and change of events. It was at that point that solidified my near future. Wanted to put in earplugs so I could shut out the real world and enjoy this book in peace.
Andrew is perfect book boyfriend material – yes that is a thing, if you’ve never heard of that expression. Make no mistake; he’s going to create a lot of heat and steam but I can picture him as a poster on a wall – sigh. Anyone that follows this author knows her Wicked Horse series. Interestingly enough, this book is actually part of the Left At The Altar series. These books are all by different authors but they’re not needed to enjoy this one but I am interested to see how this ties in with the other stories. There is also a tie in with the book Wicked Envy. Andrew and two of his friends start their story there and it finishes here.
What’s nice about this story is that our author shows that her characters actually have a life outside of the Wicked Horse. Something that was sweet is that in the short amount of time that Andrew and Brynne have been together, he feels so protective of her. It’s a pleasant story where a man gets to find his happy place with the right woman. Our author puts in a little twist where if you thought you were going to put the book down, that scene will have you changing your mind. Partly because Brynne gets frustrating and I don’t want to see my book boyfriend sad. But happily she redeems herself at the right time.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

I loved everything about this story. I loved the chemistry. I loved the characters. I loved the writing. It’s hard for me to find a single things I didn’t love about it. Sawyer Bennett kept me wanting more even as this story ended.
I loved Andrew. He was everything I was hoping for and so much more. He broke my heart at times. I felt sad for him. He truly wanted his happy ever after. He’s watched his best friends move forward, now it’s his turn. I loved Brynne. She was sweet, funny, and new does anything reckless. That is until she meets Andrew. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. I loved watching them. Brynne is everything and more. Andrew is smart and sexy. He knows what he wants and he’s going to go after it.
I loved everything about this story. It was exactly what I wanted and so much more. Please check it out.
As soon as I saw the title and the author I knew I wanted to get my hands on this incredibly sexy and sweet story about the wealthy scientist who stopped believing in soul mates and the runaway bride who helped him restore his faith in everlasting love.
Living in Las Vegas and being a member of the exclusive sex club, the Wicked Horse, has allowed Andrew Collings to see and do a great many things. What he never imagined he’d ever do was pick up a beautiful hitchhiking bride right after his two best friends got married and in the same night getting married himself.
When Brynne Adams found a compromising pic of her fiancé, her maid of honor and the best man right before she walked down the aisle, she didn’t hesitate to put on her running shoes and get the heck out of dodge. Hitching a ride with a Chris Hemsworth gorgeous stranger and then getting married to him as a joke helped with her misfortune. Getting to know Andrew and falling in love with him… that’s a horse of a different color! But can she live with his past experiences given hers?
I met Andrew in Wicked Envy and loved his part in his best friends, Dane and Avril’s sizzling romance. It was kinky, emotional and sweet. When I finished reading that book I longed to know more about Andrew and here it is and it’s epic. Andrew was absolutely perfect, he’s not just handsome, smart and charming, he’s also super sexy, caring and thoughtful. It was impossible not to fall for him.
Even though their relationship moved fairly quickly, the chemistry between Andrew and Brynne was off the chart and you could see how well they fit together right from the start and feel their relationship grew exponentially. Of course they were practically strangers who lived in different states and didn’t know a lot about their pasts. There were bound to be hurtles to overcome, right?
Sawyer Bennett is a fixture in my reading list because she always draws me into her stories with great pacing, wonderful characters and an interesting plot.
Wicked Wedding is book #4 of the Left at the Altar series by Sawyer Bennett in collaboration with five other NY Times bestselling authors. It’s a standalone wickedly sexy and sweet contemporary romance. Written from both points of view with a happy ending.

Sawyer Bennett has done it again in Wicked Wedding, book four in the Left At The Altar series in the collaboration of six incredible authors; J. S. Scott, Ruth Cardello, Raine Miller, Sawyer Bennett, Minx Malone, and Melody Anne. Ms. Bennett has done the amazing job of giving us Andrew Collings story who was first introduced in her Wicked Horse Vegas series. LOVE THIS!!
This storyline is just amazing on how it all plays out and with all the little twist and turns that come about. It flows so smoothly that you will not want to put it down until its finished. As the steam level is high some may be disappointed it is not at the intensity of the Wicked Horse series. That being said, there is a lot of steam but the “connection” between the characters and their “moments” together are a different level of hotness.
Andrew has seen and done many things living in Vegas. But when driving home and he sees a bride walking down the highway holding her thumb out for a ride, what does a good guy do? Pull over and give her a lift.
Brynne has just jumped shipped on her wedding on foot. Walking down a highway in her gown that holds so much to her is picked up a stranger.
Conversation flowing, drinks flowing even faster, what could happen in Vegas? A drunken wedding that’s what. But as the days go on and feelings change can this drunken joke of a wedding become something more? Can they survive the getting to know each other?
You will not be disappointed reading this. It can be read as a standalone, but is way more enjoyable reading the other series first.
Wicked Wedding is wicked sexy!!! I loved how Andrew and Brynne connected from the very beginning. Their chemistry is so hot it will leave you breathless. Broken hearts, betrayal, secrets, and love. This story has it all!!!
Picking up a runaway bride from the side of a Vegas street isn’t something Andrew Collings ever expected to do. Falling in love with Brynne is even further from his expectations, especially since he had just come to the tentative conclusion that day that perhaps love and a white picket fence were probably not in his future. Picking up the gorgeous runaway changed all that, though, in the sweetest, sexiest of ways.
Brynne is a mess. She just found out her fiancé had cheated on her with her maid of honor/best friend, and his best man, courtesy of a picture on her best friend’s phone. Then along comes her white knight, rescuing her from the side of the road while she’s still wearing her wedding dress. When Andrew comes up with the crazy idea to give her the wedding of her dreams all so the gown of her dreams can have its day to shine, in her buzzed state, she goes along with it, and ends up falling hard for the charming, sweet scientist. But Andrew has a secret in his past, a secret that when it comes out just may make annulling their marriage a foregone conclusion. How can their newfound love ever survive it?
I loved Wicked Wedding, but that’s no surprise, considering that I love everything of Sawyer Bennett’s that I’ve read. But, what did surprise me is that Wicked Wedding isn’t nearly as dirty as I had been expecting. Oh sure, it’s definitely steamy, but its got so much heart, in the form of one Andrew Collings. He is the real star of Wicked Wedding. He’s sweet and sexy and so damn charming that I think I fell in love with him as soon as I read the first page. Really, I loved everything about Wicked Wedding, though, even Brynne (although when she turned into a judgy wench toward the end, my love may have dimmed a tad). It’s sweet, it’s super sexy, and Andrew and Brynne are an adorable couple with lots of heart. I’d love to read more about these two!
Wicked Wedding by Sawyer Bennett is a novella in the Wicked Horse: Las Vegas series. This novel revisits the characters of Avril, Dane and Andrew from Wicked Envy and gives Andrew his own happy ending with his own leading lady.
Andrew and Brynne meet when Andrew picks her up as she is running away from her cancelled wedding. Drinks and a quick wedding later and these two potential lovebirds are married. As they await for the annulment to process they begin dating and begin falling in love for real. There are some roadblocks along the way, but to find out more, you’ll have to read for yourself.
Wicked Wedding is a good installment in the series and I was happy to see Andrew get his happy ending. I also liked to seeing the friendship between Avril, Dane and Andrew still strong as ever. They’re like the three musketeers and I was glad that adding Brynne in the mix didn’t ruin that.
Overall, Wicked Wedding by Sawyer Bennett is a novella you don’t want to miss. I would recommend.
(I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book I received for free in exchange for my open and honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.)
Loved this little gem , I’m a big fan of Sawyer Bennett and she’s never disappoints. The storyline was great and Andrew and Brynne were adorable together. I highly recommend reading their story.
4.5 Stars!
Secrets always have a way of coming out, at the wrong moment, and are capable of ruining lives. There are quite a few secrets being kept in Wicked Wedding, a deliciously sinful Standalone, that’s part four of the Left At The Altar series (by different authors). This romance takes us on a high speed getaway ride, watching the main characters meet, marry and then fall in love; knowing they’re going to crash, when these secrets are revealed, and praying they don’t go up in flames when it happens. Oh but what a ride it turns out to be; it’s fast paced with lots of witty dialogue between the two MC that you will absolutely love from the get go! The chemistry these two have, both in and out the bedroom, was off the charts hot. I loved this story and the HEA ending, that included an epilogue that was perfect for these two lovers.
“This is going to be epic, Brynne.” “What’s that?” I ask breathlessly. “Our love.”
After finding a picture of her soon-to-be husband, Jesse, her maid of honor, Tara, and his best man in a sexually compromising situation, Brynne Adams walks out of her wedding minutes before walking down the aisle. Without a plan or direction in mind she heads for the highway when a car pulls over and the driver offers her the ride of her life.
“I’ve known this woman less than two minutes, yet she may be the most fascinating creature I’ve ever met.”
Andrew Collings was just leaving a wedding too, his best friends and business partners had just gotten married, when he sees a woman in her wedding dress walking along the highway. When he impulsively picks up Brynne, he never expected his life to take a dramatic turn.
“Your soul recognizes hers. It knows hers. That’s why you’re trusting your gut.”
These two impulsively decide to marry, after a night on the town, and unexpectedly find out how perfect they are for each other. Unfortunately, Andrew has a secret that he’s afraid Brynne won’t be able to overlook and forgive.
“You have two choices. Just rip the Band-Aid off and tell her, then let the chips fall where they may. Or keep it a secret, hoping she never finds out.”
When I finished reading Wicked Envy (The Wicked Horse Vegas Book 3) I was hoping beyond hope that Andrew aka Drew would find his own HEA because I absolutely adored him and I am so thrilled that he has. Although we have met Andrew in the Wicked Horse Vegas Series you do not have to have read any book in that series in order to read this book, this book does not take place in the Wicked Horse world although you will read about Dane and Avril whom are his best friends and partners in a Biotech company as well as the featured couple in Wicked Envy.
Andrew is the type of man I think most women hope they can find for themselves, he’s a good friend, hard worker, honest, caring, thoughtful, kind, I can go on and on about his great qualities but I won’t just know that I really, really like him. I also like Brynne although I did find her extremely judgmental even though I understood where she was coming from with her thoughts and actions, I just didn’t agree with them.
Andrew and Brynne didn’t meet in the most conventional way, heck nothing about the two of them was conventional but I guess that’s why the story worked so well. The chemistry was amazing! You could feel the heat pouring off the pages, it was a if destiny stepped in at the exact moment these two needed to find comfort and solace but what they found was so much more.
I would definitely recommend this book to any one (over 18) that enjoys contemporary romance with an erotic flare. A HOT read is what you’re guaranteed when it’s Sawyer Bennett that’s delivering, you get that and so much more….all the feels I tell you all of them! Happy Reading!!!
**I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book**
We first meet Andrew Collings in Wicked Envy which was a story that had my heart breaking for this man so I was so pleased to hear he was going to get his own book and his own HEA but that being said I still believe you can read this book as a stand-alone.
Andrew has just left his friends Dane and Avril’s wedding reception when he sees a woman hitchhiking on the highway in her wedding gown and like any true gentleman he stops and offers her a lift.
Brynne Andrews is not happy she has just caught her fiancé cheating on her with her maid of honour minutes befor their wedding ceremony so she bolts out of the church determined to get as far away as possible. Brynne wouldn’t normally except a lift from a stranger but she needs help and while riding with Drew she gets an unexpected feeling of safety and comfort of course if helps that the man driving her out of dodge happens to be extremely hot.
What follows is a strange conversation about a fake wedding , the wedding may have been set up as a joke but the feelings are certainly real so can this couple who have sizzling hot chemistry with an instant attraction make a go of a relationship when they have only known each other for a night…….
This love story has its fair share of ups and downs as this couple get to know each other but it’s a sweet tender read with a lot of passion, I loved the characters the chemistry and the banter that flows throughout this book. Another hit for Sawyer Bennett and a great addition to the Left at the Alter series which is group of stand-alone stories written by different authors but all following the same theme. Loved it
It’s ironic that on the day Andrew leaves the wedding reception of his two best friends that he meets a woman, Brynne, who walked away from her own wedding after finding out her husband-to-be had cheated on her with her maid of honor. The irony? They get married, on a lark, with the intention of getting an immediate annulment, so as not to waste the beautiful wedding dress she’s wanted and planned for since she was 13. Another irony? This woman has become “the one.” She’s been beteayed so how would she deal with certain aspects of his past relationship? Will it be a game changer?
This is my first of the Wicked Horse books, and it really is wicked sexy! Accustomed to the emotional content of this author’s other books, I was surprised at the amount of sexy times in this book. Even so, there is a lovely love story, lively characters, and in this author’s signature style, the action moves straight-forward, in a very humorous and sentimental manner, with many more sexy times than her other books.
Andrew meets Brynne when she was on the road outside Las Vegas, dressed in a wedding gown and hitchhiking. He gives her a lift into town and learns that she ran away from her wedding when she learned that her fiancee cheated on her with her maid of honor and the best man in a kinky threesome. She’s furious about the betrayal and disgusted at the kinkiness. Poor Andrew has just left the wedding of his best friends and business colleagues, with whom incidentally he had enjoyed a short threesome fling before bowing out when he noticed they had fallen in love. Even with the coincidence, Andrew is very taken with Brynne and invites her to get rip-roaring drunk and have a night of fun before going back home to San Diego. Except that the night of revelry ends up with both of them married, so Brynne’s beautiful wedding gown doesn’t go to waste.
Once they start on their lark that is supposed to end in an annulment in twenty days, they find that they love being together. It feels right, they match completely, they have lots of fun, the sex is out of the charts, and there is a lot of trust. We get to share a lot of the fun and the sexy times! There’s only one problem: Brynne hates the idea of threesomes and Andrew is withholding information . . .
Reading this book was fun. There’s lots of interpersonal action between Brynne, Andrew , Dane, Avery, the ex-fiancee and the ex-maid of honor. There’s some drama, some angst, some humor, and lots of sex. Even though Andrew And Brynne hook up so fast, it still made so much sense and they felt like a great couple from the start. I loved Brynne, she was so straightforward, determined, kind and fun. Andrew was more in his mind, but I loved how Brynne kept him on his toes. He was protective with Brynne, considerate with his friends, and assholish with the exes. Don’t expect a profound message about marriage and love, just sit down and enjoy an entertaining, page-turner great book.
Wicked Wedding is a fantastic crossover between two amazing Series; The Left at the Alter, book four as well as Sawyer Bennett’s Wicked Horse Los Vegas. Though this is a stand alone and neither series is required to read this book, I would highly recommend them both to get more of Drew’s character.
When Drew learned that Avril and Dane had fallen in love, he wished his best friends the best of luck in their marriage together. What he doesn’t expect to find is a runaway bride hitching herself a ride to the city, as he leaves their reception. What starts out as a wild night of fun, turns into a life changing adventure for Drew.
This book is off the charts with its memorable characters and combustible chemistry. I devoured it in nearly one sitting. I can’t wait to see what Sawyer Bennett has in store for us next!
This is one H-O-T and sexy book involving Drew who meets Brynne who is hitchhiking in her wedding dress and sneakers in the desert on her way back into Las Vegas after running out on her wedding when she discovers her fiance cheated on her with her maid of honor and the best man in a threesome the night before the wedding. Drew is on his way home after Dane and Avril’s wedding/reception. There are sparks between them right away and they are both comfortable with each other and on a lark decide to put her wedding dress to good use and get married after a telephone conversation with Drew’s attorney and the assurance an annulment can be granted just as easily as a wedding license. Little did they realize their wedding weekend would turn into something with feeling and as they roll into Monday and go back to their regular lives they find themselves reaching for their phones and texting and calling and soon the weekend comes and they are together again. When it is right, it is right and these souls belong together but when Brynne finds out about Drew being involved in a threesome in his past will she be able to get past it? That is the biggest question of all. Trust. Can you develop enough trust in a few short weeks when your heart is telling you one thing but your brain is telling you another. This was very well written and can be read as a standalone. There are characters from previous books but that doesn’t mean you will be lost in any way if you did not read their book. I definitely recommend this one!
5 star Review Wicked Wedding (Left At The Altar 4)
We were first introduced to Andrew Collings in Wicked Envy which actually had my heart breaking for Drew a little as he stepped aside and watched his best friends Dane and Avril get married.
I was absolutely thrilled to see that he finally had his “own” story and happily ever after. After leaving the reception he threw for Dane and Avril he is blind sided by the sight of Brynne Adams, hitch hiking in a wedding gown and decides to stock and offer assistance.
A runaway bride, Brynne has escaped her wedding after discovering her groom to be in a menage with the best man and matron of honour.
After a heavy drinking session Drew and Brynne find themselves married, after all it can be annulled in 20 days. What starts of as a temporary band-aid, morphs into so much more as Drew and Brynne get to know one another.
I loved Drew in Wicked Envy and fell for Brynne, she was just what Drew needed and I loved these two together. They clicked from the first moment and that showed throughout as
Ms. Bennett wove her story.
However will Drew’s past come back to haunt him and destroy the feelings that Brynne has developed or will love win out in the end?
One click now and find out.
I love all the Wicked Horse books and this one was no different! This was such a quick, HOT, fun read.
Drew has just left his best friends (and business partners wedding) when he sees a woman in a wedding dress hitching. Being curious, he pulls over and offers her a ride. She just found out her “fiancé” had a threesome with her maid of honor and his best man, so she bolted from the wedding. Once inside the car, they decide to go to a bar and get drunk. Before the night is over, Drew is proposing that they get married (why ruin the fact that she’s wearing a beautiful wedding dress) and they’ll get it annulled in 20 days.
The chemistry and sex is off the charts between the two of them and by the next morning, they don’t want to leave each other and agree to try it long distance.
Will they get divorced in 20 days? What happens to the ex and her best friend? Such a fun read!
Another Wonderful Wicked Addition!!
It was SO great reading Andrew’s story. After Avril & Dane’s wedding reception, he sees a woman hitchhiking, in the middle of no where, in a wedding gown! He pulls over & she asks him for a ride back to Vegas. She gives him a quick version of why she left her own wedding, so off they head back to Vegas. He tries to cheer her up by suggesting since they’re both dressed up (he still in his tux), they should go get some drinks to cheer her up. Brynne (the hitchhiking bride), agrees, and as the night goes on, they do a LOT more than just drink!
It’s a wild & crazy ride for these two, but a really good one & a Must-Read in this series! Loved having Avril & Dane present in his book too! (Avril getting all “Mama Bear” on Drew’s behalf!) Just a great addition to the Wicked Horse Vegas Books!
The Wicked Horse series is my favorite series by Sawyer Bennett but this one fell kind of flat to me. I don’t know if maybe it ‘s because I’m pretty much over the steamy steamy books or what. While I love her writing this book didn’t do it for me. Though there were certain aspects I did enjoy while reading. But if you’re a fan of steamy reads, Sawyer Bennett romance, and Wicked Horse series, I’m sure you’ll love this one as well!
