When Ivy Winter meets Anton Stavros, “star-crossed lovers” seems like child’s play.I used to be fine with the idea of an arranged marriage. As a “Winter Witch”, it’s important to marry well and preserve the family’s magical line. But that all goes out the window when my cat, Mr. Burroughs, decides a random dude in the park is the catnip he’s always dreamed of. Anton Stavros is the only person Mr. … Stavros is the only person Mr. Burroughs has ever liked besides me, and seeing them together ignites unexpected fire inside my body. He’s tall, dark, wickedly handsome, and absolutely off-limits to someone like me.
So why do I keep saying yes to him?
After dodging my would-be suitor, it feels like a sign when Anton is waiting for me at my door. The ‘yes’ comes easy and I find myself falling into his dreamy eyes and muscled arms. But morning brings reality like a wrecking ball, decimating any fantasy I had of me and Anton. Between my family and my legacy, there’s no hope for us.
When a dark curse makes me realize what I want is more important than what’s expected, I have to make a choice. Do I defy my family for a man I barely know? Or do I follow the path laid out for me from birth? Is it already too late?

My first read from this author and I enjoyed it very much. I most definitely will be checking out the other books in the series.
Facing your truth
What an adorable short story. I love that these two find their HEA and that mom gets a little bit of poetic justice. The author was able to keep this story moving, but not lose any of the details that often seem lacking in other short stories. I have to say that this was an unexpected delight as my first experience with this author. I can’t wait to read the authors other books.
Wicked Truth is book nine of the Cursed Coven series and so far all of the novellas I’ve read are fantastic. In this book we get Ivy and Anton’s journey of love. Ivy is a witch and Anton is a panther shifter neither knows what the other is. I like how Ivy’s cat liked Anton and Mr. Burroughs doesn’t like anyone. Ivy and Anton go through so much in this book but will it bring them together or tear them apart? This is a quick, well written novella and a great addition to the Cursed Covens series.
Another great fun read in this multi author world all based around the premise of a meeting between covens where the witches are all cursed
This is Ivy and Anton’s story. Ivy Winter is a winter witch and knows that she will have an arranged marriage after all they have to keep the magical bloodline strong Then her cat that never likes anyone falls in love with Anton Stavros to the point that he climbs onto his knee and falls asleep. Anton is a panther shifter and he will be the next alpha when his ailing alpha dies The only thing is that to be the alpha he has to marry Jade the current alphas partner but can he do that when he has realised that Ivy is his mate When Ivy is cursed she tries to walk away from Anton but he will not let her go can they have a future together will Anton be the next alpha You will have to read to see
I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. It was a great with having characters that are well developed and engaging and having plenty of chemistry. The flow of the storyline was steady and smooth in each turn of the pages.

Good story about someone who thinks she is okay with an arranged marriage, only to fall in love. Add in a nice helping of magic and you have a very good book.
This was a quick read in the Cursed Coven series. The books I’ve read in this series have all been good so far and this one was no exception. Although they are part of a series, each book tends to be a stand alone and can be read out of order.
Ivy Winter is a witch. Anton Stavros is a panther shifter. They meet in the park when Ivy is walking her cat, Mr. Burroughs, decides Anton’s lap is the purrfect place for him to be. Ivy knows there can be nothing between her and Anton, even though she feels pulled towards him. She has to make a good marriage and preserve the family’s magical line. But why can’t she get Anton out of her head?
Anton’s Alpha is dying and he is next in line. Along with stepping into the Alpha slot, Anton is supposed to take Jade, his Alpha’s partner, as his own. Anton knows he can not take Jade as he realizes that Ivy is his fated mate once he meets her. But without accepting Jade at his side, will Anton be able to step into the slot of Alpha?

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Wicked Truth by Corinne O’Flynn is one of the novellas in The Midnight Coven presents Cursed Coven series. These thirteen novellas are written by different authors and can each be read as stand alone. In the midst of a coven ball, a rogue witch curses those in attendance. To break the curse they must face their greatest fear. I love that the curse has a different effect on each witch/mage/shifter. You don’t have to read the books in any particular order and there is resolution in each novella. This is my first Corinne O’Flynn read and I really enjoyed Anton and Ivy’s story. The Cursed Coven reads should definitely be added to your TBR pile. Quick sexy reads that will leave you smiling and looking for the next cursed victim. Mature Readers Only Please…

I’ve loved every story in this series but I think Ivy and Anton are my favorite so far. Their connection is undeniable and Ivy facing her truths also helped others face theirs. I loved seeing that and the little surprise towards the end was perfect!

Corrine O’Flynns romance, Wicked Truth is a delightful story about witches, cats, curses and falling for the right person at the wrong time. It’s suitable for young adults and up and the sex scenes aren’t explicit it’s also one of those books that grab you at the start and you can’t put it down until the last page. I received a free copy of this book through Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. The only problem I found with this book is that it’s way to short, in fact I got a bit of a shock when it finished so soon. It’s a quick read that anyone who’s into witches, cats and romance should really enjoy.
Ivy used to be fine with the idea of an arranged marriage. As a “Winter Witch”, it’s important to marry well and preserve the family’s magical line. But that all goes out the window when her cat, Mr. Burroughs, decides a random dude in the park is the catnip he’s always dreamed of. This was really good. Couldn’t put it down. Loved Ivy and Anton’s characters, and story. It was emotional, and filled with angst.

Wicked Truth – This romance novella is part of the Cursed Coven collection. I like this author’s writing style, except for the lowercase usage of God. Interesting storylines combined with interesting and intriguing characters make it difficult to put down one of her books. This is a quick read good for relaxing.
There is an infrequent use of F, which really isn’t necessary, and the sex was not graphic. I don’t care for the vulgar, language or sex, both are so boring, but I would let my grandkids read this. I contacted the author to review her books and received this book through Booksprout. 4*
The great plot was well written and the characters were so well developed that as I turned each page the chemistry between the characters kept me totally hooked until the very last page!
