When three college besties meet three hot guys in Vegas, anything can–and does–happen. Book Four in the New York Times Wild Seasons series that began with Sweet Filthy Boy (the Romantic Times book of the year that Sylvia Day called “a sexy, sweet treasure of a story”), Dirty Rowdy Thing, and Dark Wild Night. For two people ambivalent about dating and love, they sure get naked around each other … dating and love, they sure get naked around each other an awful lot . . .
London Hughes is very content to surf daily, tend bar, hang out with her group of friends, and slowly orient herself in the years after college. Everything’s going great and according to the non-plan.
But when a wave knocks her for a loop one morning, then Luke Sutter’s flirtatious smile knocks her for another that evening, she veers slightly off course…and into his path. Sure, he’s a total player, but the Why not–it’s only one night is a persistent voice in her ear.
For his part, Luke’s been on hookup autopilot for so long that he rarely ever pauses to consider what he’s doing. But after an amazing time with London, he realizes that he hasn’t been moving on from a devastating heartbreak so much as he’s been drifting to wherever–and whomever–the current takes him. With London he wants more.
Every relationship involves two people…plus their pasts. And as much as she enjoys her fling with Luke, when London learns about his past–more specifically, who’s in it–everything becomes the brand of complicated she strives to avoid. It’s up to Luke then to change some things in order to try and ensure he’s not something she’ll outright avoid as well.more
I was so excited to read this book and i loved every single page ,i wanted more it was so good
I was pretty sad that this might be the last book in this series ,i was hoping that Colton & Levi were gonna get their own books ,fingers crossed 🙂
I loved London and Luke’s story ,i was so into these characters and i enjoyed seeing how their relationship unfolded ,London keeps to herself because she’s terrified of getting hurt again but there’s something about Luke that draws her and she starts to open up to the possibility of loving someone again but it’s not easy to trust someone especially someone who is a bit of a man-whore ,Luke kinda sleeps around and it’s not until he meets London that he sees it’s not the life he wants for himself ,he finally feels something more that just lust for London and he wants a relationship with her but earning her trust isn’t easy but in the end it works out 🙂
I loved this whole series and the awesome world that Christina Lauren created 🙂
Christina Lauren are one of THE BEST at hot romance with amazing stories! I have read every book of theirs and this one is at the top of my list!
I loved Every.Single.Book in this series!
This one is about London and Luke and there is some serious stuff in this book but I had many laugh out loud moments!! Oh, how I loved Luke’s family, especially Grams and his sister Margot. I recommend this book and the previous ones as well. They’re all standalone stories but it’s much more fun to read them all in order, so you won’t miss anything.
Love everything by these authors.
Ugh…LOVE IT! Love this one the most, I think…great characters and story. Funny and sexy as hell.

I love finding a new series I can devour right away. I read the entire Wild Seasons series, but was so thrilled to find I’d saved the best for last. (In my opinion) London’s sassy-sweetness was the perfect contrast to Luke’s bad-boy traits. With plenty of steam throughout, the authors still managed to deliver slow-burn chemistry and a great happily ever after.
For characters that we knew near to nothing about, Christina Lauren did a phenomenal job of worming these 2 into our hearts right from the beginning! London and Luke are an extension of the group that us Christina Lauren fans have come to love from the WILD SEASONS series (Ansel & Mia from SWEET FILTHY LIAR, Finn and Harlow from DIRTY ROWDY THING, and Lola & Oliver from DARK WILD NIGHT). In true Christina Lauren fashion, they won my heart over page by page with Luke and London <3
This was the perfect continuation of the WILD SEASONS series! I, for one, felt like it gave a sense of “closure” to Mia and Luke’s past without overdoing that part of the plotline…bc we truly already got Mia’s closer in her book (SWEET FILTHY LIAR), but we didn’t quite realize the other characters didn’t, like Harlow, Lola and even Luke. So I loved that in between Luke and London’s story, we also got that added plot, which in the end was needed in order for both Luke and London to find love and trust again.
I love that no matter how many books from Christina Lauren I’ve read, I never feel like I am rereading characters from their previous books. They make ALL their characters completely unique and well developed that they make it impossible to not enjoy reading their stories unfold. Luke and London were no exception. Their story depicted a relationship full of resistance and was loaded with trust issues. It was not one sided…they BOTH brought baggage into their relationship, which was refreshing to read. Both characters were such contradictions, but yet had a lot in common. Luke was this notorious manwh*re, who was a complete soft-hearted guy underneath who was just burnt by his one of only past love. London was this beautiful bartender who has sworn off all men because of her terrible judgment in men and also was burnt by her past love. Hence the similarities and trust issues! Being able to get both POV’s from London and Luke helped out immensely! Their inner dialogue was a great demonstration of the personal struggles of learning to love and trust again. Plus the banter between these two was wickedly adorable and comical. Add to that their push/pull dynamic….it all made for a compelling story.
One of my favorite aspects of this book was it showed us some people are worth taking the leap for <3 “…but sometimes we all have to stop thinking about what could hurt us and just...jump.” –Luke. Luke had to help show London this. He had to attempt to show her that not ALL men are like her ex, which was hard for him to prove…he had some of his own “tendencies” that made it hard for London to fully trust him, but in the end Christina Lauren demonstrated that time and persistence can prevail. *wink*
I felt like Luke and London were extremely relatable characters…they seemed real, if that makes sense. They went through all the day to day issues that anyone could go through and that right there was ANOTHER reason I thoroughly enjoyed their story. And then Luke’s family…HILARIOUS! OH! And we FINALLY get to know “Not-Joe’s” name!! (You’ll know what I am referring to if you’ve read the previous books in the series).
All in all, I REALLY liked WICKED SEXY LIAR and would recommend it to ANY and ALL Christina Lauren fans and any new ones that are deciding to pick up their books…DO IT! Read this series, you will not be disappointed.
5 wicked stars!
