He stole my first kiss… and now he thinks everything else is his.GemmaI said no to the one person no one at this school dares to refuse. Now I’m targeted by jealous girls, guys that compete to be the first to “break the prude”, and by him. After one kiss, the king of the school hunts me down like I’m a conquest to win. He’ll have to fight harder than that, because I’m no one’s trophy. They all want … than that, because I’m no one’s trophy.
They all want a piece of me, but I will not bend or break for them.
No one refuses the king.
Lucas
One case of mistaken identity and a hasty kiss turned my world upside down.
The new girl refused me. Not only that, she threw down the gauntlet. That won’t stand. No one ever says no to me. This school is mine and she’ll learn her place as a loyal follower or her life is going up in flames.
I’ll make her say yes. She’ll be screaming it before I’m finished breaking her.
Warning: Wicked Saint is a dark new adult high school bully romance intended for readers 18+. This book is part of a series but can be enjoyed as a standalone. This mature new adult romance contains dubious situations and detailed intense sexual/violent content that some readers might find triggering or offensive. Please proceed with caution.

you got this Gemma
Gemma wanted to avoid the spotlight. It was a new start and chance to forget the past, and if it wasn’t for a freak mix up she most likely would have.
Now it is just a matter of surviving until graduation
Gemma is a rock. She has attitude and she has the skill required to back it up. That is until Lucas took something that wasn’t his then tried to turn the tables.
You may be their king but you are nothing more than a thief to Gemma
Watch your back Saint this is one game you may lose
The push and pull between Gemma and Lucas was what drew me in and kept me
Lucas was lost in so many ways and I think Gemma really undersold herself when it came to her resilience and strength
These two feed each other constantly keeping the chemistry between them dangerously volatile
Until it can no longer be contained
This was an easy to follow story line that has a solid cast and well crafted secondary characters.
There are a couple of areas I would have enjoyed a bit more “meat” when it came to a scene – a bit more of the why? and how?
I felt the scene deserved more
I am eager to see where the series takes us.
I think I know who will fall next
What an amazing read! This author is new to me, but the blurb for Wicked Saint had me hooked and boy I wasn’t disappointed. I loved this 5 star read from beginning to end and couldn’t put it down as it was so addictive. It’s one of those books that you don’t want to end. I’ve been unable to stop thinking about Wicked Saint whilst at work today and have been left with a massive book hangover! I aleady have the second book of this new series pre-ordered and I rarely ever pre-order a book, but there’s no way I’m missing book 2, which I really wish was out already lol

I voluntarily read an ARC of this book in exchange for honest review.
Wicked Saint is the first book in the Sinners and Saints series, but it can be read as a standalone. This was the second book by Veronica Eden, that I’ve read.
As a bully romance, the situations presented seemed realistic for US region schools (All my knowledge is from books as I’m not from US/Europe region and I’m come from totally different cultural background).
Lucas Saint is the most popular kid in school, he’s the quarterback that every girl wants to be with, and all the guys look up too. He’s rich, arrogant and entitled, that’s why when he kisses Gemma by mistake, and she rejects his attention and becomes the centre of attention in doing so. Lucas finds this as a challenge and fights for her attention. Gemma is the new girl in that school, she is just trying to keep her head down and get through senior year due to her own set of problems which caused her due to the attention she seeked in the past. But that unexpected mistaken kiss from Lucas puts her on the centre stage. Due to this she is bullied in the school by both boys and girls. Gemma loved fighting with Lucas even when she was scared. She also made some very irrational decisions in the book, but it goes to show she is an 18 yr old which is acceptable for age sake.
I rated it low because I struggled to find the connection b/w Gemma and Lucas and Alec was totally absent for majority of the scene. If some bet is going on about my twin brother/sister and not even warning the other is little too much to accept for me. This story had a pretty solid plot and flow to it. I felt it held my attention very well. I actually loved Gemma’s Parents, who have put her first and changed her schools when she asked for it. It was refreshing and felt natural. The secondary characters were amazing. I m intrigued and waiting for Delvin and Blair’s story.
This book was a fast paced, steamy and nice writing style- it was easy to follow and engaging. Overall this was a good story and I would be interested in reading the next book in the series
This is my first novel by Ms. Eden, in a popular genre that I have inexplicably been attracted to. Yes, this is a bully romance!
Gemma wants to finish high school with no issues. No problem right? Until she is kissed by Lucas. Tell him no…that was a BIG mistake. There will be no head down until graduation now.
I still enjoy bully romances, and I’ll keep reading to figure out why! LOL!
Emotional, angsty novel. 4 strong *s! I’m definitely checking out Eden’s books.
I received an advanced reader copy, and this is my honest and voluntary review.
I really, really enjoyed this!
This was my first read by this author, honestly I’d never heard of her but I love bully romance so I took a chance on it. And y’all….. it’s really good. The writing is fabulous and in a genre that’s very popular right now this story is original. The author gave us fantastic characters in Gemma and Lucas. Even though I could strangle him in the end I fell totally in love with him. You gotta give this one a read. I highly recommend it.

Veronica Eden is a new to me author, but she has my full attention now. Wicked Saint grabbed my attention from the get go. Lucas, the handsome popular leader who is arrogant as hell with the I get what I want mentality, but I was here for all of him. Gemma and her twin brother Alec moved with their family for a fresh start. Gemma wanted to leave behind the bad memories and start new. Keeping her head down and getting through her senior year of high school was her main goal. Little did she showing up to a party to get her brother was going to turn her world upside down. The connection and chemistry between Lucas and Gemma was fire!! These characters were fun to read and I can’t wait to read more in this series!! I’m ready for Devlin!!
This is my first time reading anything from this author, and I really enjoyed this book, I found this to be well written, and the characters to have great chemistry, and the story kept me engaged until the end. This is the first book in the Sinner and Saints series, and the story of Lucas, and Gemma. Lucas is the “King” of the school, and Gemma is the new girl, and when she rejects him after he kisses her by mistake, she becomes his target. This book was intense, emotional, twisted, dramatic, and steamy. I can’t wait to read more from this author.
This was my first book by Veronica Edens and after reading the blurb and finding out it was a dark bully romance, I dove in head first!!
I loved the premise behind this story, that everything started over a case of mistaken identity. Lucas was a grade A bully, but he got more than he bargained for when he mistakenly kissed Gemma, who gave it just as good as she received it!! The story flowed smoothly and we saw the characters grow and develop, but I was hoping for more groveling from Lucas after everything went down. I was also hoping to see a little bit more from Lucas’s POV as far as a back story goes, but overall I really enjoyed this story! I cannot wait to read the next one!
This is the 1st in a new series and is Gemma and Lucas’ story. This is a well written and realistic high school bully romance, which I fast paced, dark, with sizzling attraction which all leads to a steamy and addictive read. I was totally hooked throughout and look forward to reading more from this talented author. Be aware there may be triggers for some readers!
I’m loving the Bully Romance genre right now! Wicked Saint is my read by this author and I was pleasantly surprised. It has all the drama and angst you crave before falling in love with the bully. There are some triggers in this story, so be sure to read the warning. Other than that, it doesn’t seem like too dark of a story.
Gemma is the new girl at school just trying to keep her head down and get through senior year. Lucas is the most popular boy in school and quarterback for the football team. Gemma ends up on Lucas’s radar after a case of mistaken identity. Basically it’s be his, or be bullied.
I liked this story, it kept my interest from start to finish. I would have like to see a little more character development from side characters and more dialogue in general. Some of the timelines felt a little off at the start of a couple of the chapters-I did read an arc so maybe this will be fixed? It has no bearing on my rating, though.
I can’t wait for the next book with Devlin and Blair!
Wicked Saint by Veronica Eden is book One in the Sinners and Saints Series. This is the story of Gemma and Lucas. Lucas is the popular jock who is rich and of course everyone wants him or looks up to him. So when he mistakenly kisses Gemma and she turns into a hard no he is taken back. Of course he can’t fail or have anyone say no to him so he is on a mission to show she just as easy as the other. Only problem is that the more he proving this he is finding he can’t help but have strong feelings for her. This is the ultimate bully romance where the alpha male is a mean but very protective of his lady. Enjoyed their story.
A great read. Gemma and Lucas are perfect for one another once they both come to accept what they mean to each other and stop with all the chopsticks drama. A stolen kiss, bullying and a bad decision can all break them, but true love always wins.
A new school but this year its going to be different. She’s going to fly under the radar. Blend in rather than stand out.
She had it all planned out then a case of mistaken identity and his lips upon hers changed it all.
She wasn’t who he thought she was but still she would be his. He’s the alpha male, the king of everything she will bow down to him.
Or else…..
What a read!! I couldn’t keep up with all the drama and excitement!
The sexual tension between them was off the scale hot, and their chemistry was amazing. What an utterly addictive couple!
Gemma is so feisty and fiery she’s perfection!
Lucas on the outside is such an alpha douche, but on the inside hidden behind his ivory mask he’s the opposite and that’s the part of him I fell in love with.
They dance together like no other, and the games that they play had me glued to my spot. Nothing and no-one was going to make me move until they were no more.
Veronica is a new to me author and wowsers what a book to lose my cherry on! I cant wait to read more of this series!
Wicked Saint is one of those books that you binge read because it is just so good! The story looks at Gemma and Lucas’s relationship. Gemma and her twin brother are new to school after leaving their last place due to an incident that happened to her. After having her first kiss stolen by Lucas at a party, she puts him in his place but doesn’t realise that she has gone up against the king and he is going to reign holy terror onto her.
Lucas is the all star at school, football player, jock, golden boy, but underneath lies something more than just football. When he steals a kiss from Gemma, he thinks that he will be able to wrap her around his little finger but doesn’t realise the resistance that he is going to come up against. With the help from his buddies and the rest of the school, he is certainly going to make Gemma bow down to him!
This book was a fast paced, steamy, can’t put down read. The relationship that Gemma and Lucas have borders on obsession and almost cruelty from Lucas’s side. He just doesn’t seem to understand how strong Gemma is and what she has been through previously. There are some redeeming characteristics to him in the sense that he is all out for Gemma (even though he doesn’t often go about it in the right way), but he is her protector, tormentor and saviour all-in-one and it was entertaining to watch the back and from from these two characters.
The only thing that read different for me was the characters ages as they felt older in my mind then they were on paper (school seniors) and some of the things they get up too nearly made my eyes pop out of my head :p
The secondary characters are amazing in this book and I’m intrigued and excited to read their story. If you like bully romances. Enemies to lovers with an amazing story and lots of steaminess in between then this book is the one for you!
ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review

So one reads the blurb and thinks just another bully romance, and while yes, this is just another bully romance, this turned out to be better than most. Gemma is the new girl in school, and this time she is not going to let the in crowd get to her. That is what she is going to keep telling herself, because somehow she caught the attention of Lucas, the king of the school, and she is refusing to bow to his wishes. The sooner Lucas realizes that she is not one of those girls, the sooner they can all move on with their lives. But what Gemma doesn’t realize is that Lucas is set on making her his, anyway he can. Who will break first?
This was a really good story that just sucks you in. I couldn’t get enough and am ready for the next in this series. This had me going through all the feels. I give this 4.5 stars, I felt that Alec needed to grovel more.
was pleasantly surprised by Wicked Saint. It’s my first read by Veronica Eden and it was a great read. The story line for Lucas and Gemma was so incredibly heart wrenching. Gemma has definitely had her share of angst and only found more at her new school. Lucas and all of his entitled friends seem to think that she should be the target of yet more abuse. I found myself getting angry them, wanting to beat them so bad and then I saw a different side and wondered if things were as they seemed. This is a journey well worth taking. Can’t wait for book 2.
