Phew, this book started with a bang, went on with another bang, followed up with a bang!
Seriously, I couldn’t put this book down!!!
Great book, unexpected turns, angst, love, fun, sadness, madness, there’s everything in this book!
I kindly received an arc for an honest review
I have loved this entire series from the very beginning and have been intrigued by Summer since I met her in the first book. The little sister of the Stone-Prince family, she is caring, sweet, and always there for everyone. Cotton did not disappoint with this one! Full of unexpected twist and angst that will keep you turning the pages well into the night, Wicked Promises stands out as one of my favorites in this already amazing series!
This one broke my heart from the very first chapter. Seriously ALL THE FEELS! My heart ached for summer. I felt all of her pain, anger, and sadness as she realized the life she had planned so neatly was no longer possible.
I could not put this one down! I loved every single second of this one! I highly recommend you take a trip to Wicked Bay. You won’t be sorry!
Wicked Promises (Wicked Bay #7) follows the youngest of the Stone-Prince children
Summer Stone-Prince & takes you on a cyclonic of vibes.
Summer has always been one of my favourite characters of mine in this series.
Her relationship with her brothers is sweet and fun to read about.
Agonizing & angsty charged moments swirling through the pages of this hot off the press read.
I absolutely love how the new guy star quarterback that makes cameo appearances in the other books becomes the hero in this romance.
Copious with anguish, dramatics, family, love, & sweet moments that ooze through the pages.
Looking forward to reading the final book in this edgy, addictive, angsty YA/NA series.
This is quiet reserved so in love with her childhood sweetheart Summer’s book and it’s safe to say this did not go the way I expected.
If I’m honest I hadn’t really given much thought to Summer’s book and I’m kind of glad because the whole book was a revelation to me. I fell head over heels in admiration for this amazing young woman. The decisions she made showed a maturity beyond her years. I was silently cheering her on every step of the way. The new friendship she formed I’m hoping will blow you away just like it did me. The level of care and understanding was just what she needed. Her level of emotional growth from when we first met her until this book is immense. Catching up with Maverick, Lo, Kyle and Laurie always makes me happy.
This is an author who continues to delight me with the unexpected in her stories. I never EVER want to leave these characters.

L.A. Cotton delivered a love match I never so coming, but was oh so good with Wicked Promises!
I really thought that Summer and Nick were a forever couple in the Wicked Bay world . . . but forever is a long time, and some transgressions can never be forgiven or forgotten. As Summer’s world comes crashing down, an unexpected hero steps in for the rescue, and it could not have been more perfect!
With so many emotions happening so quickly for both of them, and the summer almost at an end, will Summer and her new mystery man (no spoilers here) be able to enjoy right now even when they both want more, or is the thought of a new and long distance relationship too much to trust in?
I absolutely loved this story! This couple was amazing. And, I loved Kyle and Maverick having to realize that Summer is a woman, even if she is their baby sister. And, the unexpected hero is simply swoon-worthy and everything that Summer needs. Wicked Promises was a stunner and fans of the series should be pleasantly shocked by this surprise match. 5 stars.
This is the first book that I have read in the Wicked Bay series. This is book #7. Unfortunately, I now need to call in sick so I can read the rest of this series! I really loved Cotton’s vivid detail to the story. It made me feel like I was there as an observer or watching a brilliant movie. Summer is sweet and rolls with the punches. She is strong enough to be true to herself and not submit to what’s comfortable. JB is a hero I love. He’s the kind that is strong, does what he wants, but when he falls in love, that’s it. He’s done. He will forever have stars in his eyes for that one girl. You can feel how much he truly loves and cherishes Summer. It gave me the warm fuzzies. I am book heaven with a major hangover and crave more L.A. Cotton. A sweet, caring, indescribable love story can be found in Wicked Promises.
I was given a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Tears in the first chapter!!!! Why oh why. Summer’s story has so much heartache but we watch her grow from this. We get to see the gang as well. I am happy to see all of them doing well and excited that Summer will get an HEA.
Wicked Bay series is one of my favorites and I highly recommend it. I can’t wait for Wicked Forever!
Summer’s book had all the feelings.Summer deserved her happy ever after. It is hard to imagine Summer all grown up as she was 14 we the series started in maverick ‘s book.We get to see small cameo ‘s of the rest of the prince stone gang. I will be so sad when the series is done. Very enjoyable reads I very much recommend.
What a heart breaking book! It’s perfectly sad and heartwarming at the same time. I didn’t see this one coming but if I’m honest, it was bound to happen. Without giving to much away I will say that young love is hard, hell love is hard in general. You don’t always know if what you have right in front of you is going to be forever. People and/or things have a habit of coming out of no where when you least expect them. Life can make or break you. Summer broke but she also healed. She had amazing help. I love everyone’s acceptance. I also loved the low grade drama. Summer didn’t need anymore than that. Go into this book without any expectations. Trust me, you’ll love the results. Oh and that last bit with Maverick in the epilogue. Yeah I can’t wait for the final (so sad!!) book now. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.*
OMG, this book had me hooked from the very first page. It was awesome and not at all what I expected from Summer’s story, which made it even better.
The angst slapped me in the face and I was alternating between crying and laughing throughout the whole story. I could have done with some more pages though…but that’s just me being greedy 😛
I will have a full(er) review done shortly but for now…. Wow and highly recommended, but that goes for the whole series 😉

OMG! LA has not pulled any punches with this one. She hits you right at the start- page one! I read it in one sitting. I’m speechless and still can’t believe it! This is the story of Summer and her forever guy. It will have you happy, sad, laughing, crying, mad- all the feels! Wicked Bay and LA’s angst are the best!
Gut Punching Heart Ache!!
This is the youngest Stone-Prince siblings book. Summer is the quiet child, happier to live her life in the shadows than the spotlight that gravitate towards her siblings & cousin. She’s already found her ‘forever guy’ & her future is set. She comfortable & happy in her quiet bubble!!
Wow, this book is a gut punch! I spent much of the book in a state confusion & shock, much like Summer. I was left reeling from the speed of the changes taking place. I had zero issues with any of her choices, in fact I felt they were the choices of an adult – for maybe the first time!! Summer had a lot to come to terms with, and faster than was perhaps healthy, but who can predict life? I was furious with her Mum for some of her choices & reactions!
I loved how things progressed with Summer’s friendship. It was exactly what SHE needed regardless if anyone else understood it. Nick annoyed me – a lot!! He’s still got growing up to do in my opinion. I loved catching up Maverick, Lo, Kyle & Laurie
This is an emotive, surprising, shocking & unmissable coming of age story for Summer. I was left wrung out by the end but SO satisfied!!

Promises.
They means so much and get sometimes they mean so little. A promise is the embodiment of hope. And yet when it’s broken or not kept its an empty shell of shattered dreams.
Whether promises are wicked or not, LA Cotton was definitely feeling wicked writing this. I lashed out so many times of I hadn’t been alone people would have been questioning my sanity. I raged. I was heartbroken. I was angry. I felt betrayed. I felt hope. I felt love. Wicked Promises will definitely be testing your strength and your devotion to the Stone-Prince clan. I created some lovely hashtags for my venting purposes but my favorite is #killNickthePrick
I can’t say more but just know it’s with a heavy heart that I will take great joy in harming his most cherished parts with a plastic fork! For those that think that was too much, bite me! Or Nick! While I rage against #thePrick, I will say I was happily surprised by our hero. I think he’s an outstanding addition to the Stone-Prince clan.
Enjoy Promises…there are plenty to hold onto!
