The conclusion to Caleb and Margo’s story was full of suspense and mystery. It is a book that had me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out who Unknown was. The secondary characters were great and had me intrigued. I’m looking forward to Eli and Riley’s story. Caleb and Margo have come a long way from book 1 in the series and the author made the road to their hea bumpy but smooth at the end. All the twists and turns made for an amazing read. Don’t miss out and start this series today.
Wicked Promises is the next in line for the Fallen Royals series and it is another home run! This book was unique within the series because it really ramped up the intrigue and mystery- it was definitely action packed with a ton of twists and turns. The book picks up right on the heels of where we ended in Wicked Games and continues us on Caleb and Margo’s journey. Both of these characters have really matured and grown though out each book and this one was no different. Margo really displays an amazing amount of strength especially given the emotional duress that she is constantly under. And Caleb!!!!! OMG- how he has evolved from a bully into a Hero that is worthy of Margo. The two of them together are absolute magic and definitely continue to be the backbone of this book.
I also love how interwoven the secondary characters were in this book. Lenora and Robert as Margo’s foster parents were so caring and supportive- I think they are among my favorite parents within a bully romance. And the boys- Eli, Theo and Liam- they were really involved in the action to protect Margo and Caleb! This book really gave us an epic end for Margo/Caleb but also gave us breadcrumbs for additional novels (can’t wait for Eli/Riley!!)
I devoured this entire series by S Massery- she has fast become one of my one-click authors! Highly Recommend!!
5 STARS
S. Massery penned an amazing conclusion to the Fallen Royals series! I promise you that this book will take you on an action-packed ride with so many twists and turns, you don’t see them coming. I highly recommend reading Caleb and Margo’s story, you won’t be disappointed. Wicked Promises by S. Massery is an EPIC read and will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!
Phenomenal Conclusion!
WOW! Book 3 was one hell of a roller-coaster ride of so many emotional ups and downs and thrilling suspense.
There was so much amazing mystery, suspense, twists and secrets packed into this story that it will make your head spin. It literally kept me on the edge of my seat not knowing what was going to happen next and what secrets were going to be revealed. You will be shocked!
Caleb and Margo’s story shocked me, thrilled me and kept me very entertained from the very first chapter right to that fantastic and emotional ending.
I loved every second of this story and this series that I can’t wait to read what comes next. Highly recommend the whole series.
The ending for this book was perfect! I absolutely loved it. I was smiley at my kindle like a dork!
This book has you questioning everyone and everything. I loved all the different twists and turns through out the book! It has the perfect amount of steam, mystery, suspense and sex!!!
Wow, Caleb and Margo’s trilogy was amazing!! Danger, romance, and mystery/suspense thrown in for good measure? Absolutely everything I love in a good book! Now I can’t wait to read Riley and Eli’s story! Definitely recommended with more than five stars!!!
Wicked Promises is the conclusion to Caleb and Margot’s story and what a ride it is. The relationship between the two main characters has changed so much throughout the trilogy and they really do come together in this book. All the questions I had were answered, the identity of unknown is revealed and it wasn’t who I expected it to be. The plot around the death of Caleb’s father was far more twisted than I ever anticipated.
S. Massery crafted a great finale for Caleb and Margot, full of suspense and mystery with all the romance and heated tension between them that I love. Margot with Caleb at her side developed into a strong heroine and they turned out to be perfectly matched. I hope we get to see more of Riley and Eli in the series as it progresses. There are several other secondary characters that I enjoyed throughout the trilogy and I hope they also make an appearance in the future books in the Fallen Royals series.
From an audiobook standpoint, Troy and Stephanie did an amazing job bringing this story to life. They exuded confidence, passion and emotion where it was needed. They spoke with conviction and clarity altering pitch and cadence wonderfully between different characters in their narrated chapters, which not all narrators do successfully. I am fully invested in the Fallen Royals world and will definitely continue to read the series as it’s released.
Twisted and dark and so damn intriguing.
I won a copy of this audiobook. I had no clue what it was about, but I decided to check it out while doing my nails one night. Oh, my… I was hooked from the start. So suspenseful! And the relationship between Caleb and Margo… I don’t even know how to describe it. Deep, everlasting, but so warped and tangled. Braids of lies, lost memories, loss, and love. They were such complex and tainted characters that it was hard to tell where or how things were going to go.
This story gripped me. It had me guessing and re-guessing what was going on. Who was the stalker/kidnapper? Who was the true murderer? How many people were involved in this whacked-out mystery? It was quite the ride, that’s for sure. I enjoyed every minute of it.
I thought the narrators were good, particularly the female one. No cheesiness or loss of my attention. I can definitely see myself listening to this book again in the future. Now, though, I’ve got to go buy the previous books in this series so I can have all the pieces.
This is the third book of the series, Margo and Caleb’s story picks up right after the cliffhanger of book 2. These characters have been growing on me and I want to keep on reading the rest of the series to figure everyone’s story, this is an enemies to lovers story, with bullying, if you love this trope this is a must-read series, this book is full of angst, mystery and everything you need to get hooked. Definitely one series I recommend.
Wicked Promises
Fallen Royals, Book 3
By: S. Massery
Narrated by: Stephanie Rose, Troy Duran
This trilogy is in my top listens of the year! I have become a fan of bully romance. Underneath all the mean, there tends to be a misunderstood teddy bear. But this story is so much more than that. The third installment, Wicked Promises starts off right where we left off in book 2. This does not standalone, nor do you want to miss the first two books! Caleb and Margo are front and center, in the middle of so many secrets, we don’t even know which way to turn. With Margo, we have: Who is stalking her? Why is her father in jail? What is up with her mother?, then to Caleb: What really happened with his parents? What is the deal with his uncle? And what took so long for him to realize the truth? Smartly written, intriguing, suspenseful, alluring, shocking, romantic, loving, you name it, I felt it during this story. There were times I was guessing the direction of the story only to have Massery take me down another path. It’s fantastic to listen to and a trilogy you do not want to miss.
The narration concludes with Stephanie Rose and Troy Duran finishing their portrayal of Margo and Caleb. Each keeping consistent from book to book, I was enthralled with the emotional pulls and high suspense these two kept in their voices. It kept me on the edge, wanting to know what was going to happen next. This kind of performance is why I love to listen.

This is the third book in the Fallen Royals Series, a Dark High School Bully Romance, and the last book in the Margo and Caleb’s trilogy. I love these characters! The story continues where the second book left off. There is a lot going on, and several secrets are revealed. The captivating storyline is filled with intrigue, suspense, and twists and turns. Stephanie Rose and Troy Duran did an outstanding job with the narration. I enjoyed it, and I HIGHLY recommend this Series. I can’t wait to listen to the next book in the Series, Vicious Desire, Eli and Riley’s story.
Wicked Promises is the third book in the Fallen Royals. Author, S. Massery, did a wonderful job with continuing the series without it getting boring. S. Massery captured my attention from the beginning till the end. I did not want to put this book down. It was the finale of Caleb and Margo’s story. The next book will be about Eli and Riley’s story. I loved the ending from Wicked Promises. All of our questions that we collected on the way to this point was answered and not all the answers were what was expected. Yes, this book had just as much surprises, twist, turns, and things going sideways (as I always say ). There was even and bomb or two that was dropped. I know the “villain” was not who I expected but it did turn out not to be one person but a group of people. You will not regret buy and reading Wicked Promises. I know that besides all the surprises, bomb, twist, turns, and things going sideways there were a lot of emotions and so many feelings that you feel like you have a whirlwind of emotions plaguing you. This book was just as hot as the other two books in the Fallen Royals series. Highly recommend the whole series not just Wicked Promises. I really hope that you will want to read Wicked Promises, well, actually the whole Fallen Royals series. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Wow, wow,wow ! what an epic conclusion to Margo and Calebs story.this amazing series. Mystery, suspense, car crash, kidnapping, greed, jealousy, fake friends, twists and turns, throughout. And who is UNKNOWN will have you guessing until the very end. How the masterminds of it all are so interconnected
Margo is deeply troubled throughout this series. Her character grew from a meek girl who wanted to be invisible, to a confident, strong, young woman. Caleb grows from a boy who was brainwashed, abused and angry, seeking revenge, to the young man that finally learned the truth. He’s Margo’ s protector, her knight, her lover.
Wolfe
And Caleb also matured so much, it was just as amazing to see him finally dealing with his demons. He, like Margo, is such a profound character and has so many layers and here we finally meet and unveil all of them. I love him so much, it doesn’t even seem that in Wicked Dreams I was swearing to hate him forever but what can I say? he totally won me over and honestly he was totally deserved, She fights so much for Margo and even with all their past he never gives up on her.
The relationship between Margo and Caleb matures so much, it was exciting to follow these two up here and see how they always support and help each other, they are just incredible
And this plot OMG I’m still freaking out, it was so incredible. I had several theories as I read the three books but every time something from the past was explained, all my theories were canceled and I was even more confused. I basically read this whole book with my heart racing, there were so many surprises, so many twists and turns, that I needed to stop and try to put everything together in my mind, really it was great. I’m happy to finally find out everything but I’m also sad to be saying goodbye to Margo and Caleb, they won me over so much.
Now I just have to wait for the next books, I’m so excited for everyone, each of the boys has their differences and individualities I can’t wait to get into their minds, buut my biggest obsession now is Eli and Riley, I need these two so bad.
This is the third book in the series and must be read in order.
Margo Wolfe is after the truth of her past and is hoping that it will be enough to save her dad and show Caleb Asher that their love is enough to overcome everything.
Yet one event after another it is clear that someone is willing to do everything they can to prevent Margo from remembering the events of that past.
Will she remember in time?
I am both excited and devastated that these three books have come to an end.
I loved Margo and I hated her inability to remember the events of the past and I knew this would be the book where everything came out. I definitely had some suspicions and I was right to a certain degree but there were definitely some surprises that I didn’t anticipate!! I loved Margo’s friendship with Riley through this whole series and I really she hopes she gets a happy ending in an upcoming book.
Caleb had slowly wormed his way into my heart over the series and I did understand why he had so much hatred towards Margo’s dad with him in jail for killing his own dad. Caleb had been abandoned by his mom and abused by his uncle which didn’t help his anger at all.
This book had so many revelations and although things didn’t come together until the very end I was still making guesses at who was behind it all.
The car accident at the beginning of the book began to set everything in motion and make me wonder who was working for who and how many people actually had a stake in it all. The introduction of Det. Masters was an interesting one as he definitely had a lot of animosity towards Caleb for some unknown reason. Then the events with Margo’s room began to make me really wonder how many people were involved. When a certain character showed up unexpectedly I wondered if she had a part in things as her timing was off to me the entire series and I thought she was cruel to Margo even though they were supposed to be so close.
The meeting in jail between Caleb, Margo and Keith revealed so much more and that was one person who had been on my radar! Then things just began to spiral and my mouth was on the ground until almost the end of the book!!
This series has been so good and I have no idea what the author has in store for us next but I can’t wait!!

The last book in the trilogy about Caleb and Margo
Omg this book is nerve wrecking guys.
I had an little heart to heart after book 2, a specially after the cliffhanger ending, with Sarah but she did not spoiled one thing even though it turned out that I had several suspicions correct in the end.
I read this in one sitting and the emotion rollercoaster is all over the place.
In the end all the puzzle pieces will fall on there places, and then you see how good this story and plots are.
Sarah did an amazing job

I’ve enjoyed Sara’s other works and honestly, I’m not normally a huge fan of the HS bully theme, but I truly enjoyed this trilogy. This book continued underlying mysterious element and I was completely vested in this story.
So book 3 picks up where book 2 left off. Quick refresher:
In book 1, Margo is back in town with a new foster family and immediately Caleb is out for blood. He makes her life miserable but at the same time he can’t deny their connection. There are some dreams or nightmares that are haunting Margo, but we don’t know what has happened in her past to cause them. It seems Caleb knows more than he will explain, but he makes everything a tortured game so we really don’t know what he knows. She is also being threatened by anonymous texts who seem to know her every move.
In book 2, Margo has developed the armor she needs to play Caleb’s games. She has really grown a backbone in this installment. Although we learned more, we ended book 2 with just as many questions as we had when we started.
We now finally get all the answers to the twisted relationships between their two families. I absolutely loved how all the pieces to the puzzle are revealed. Finally we learn the identity of unknown and who really killed Caleb’s dad. Although we get our HEA to Caleb and Margo’s trilogy there are still other characters stories to come in this series. I can’t wait to see how everything works out!

When I first read Sara’s books – they were really really good. I mean for a new author a consistent 4.5-5 stars. That was true until I read this book. This book is a masterpiece. To me, it compare with Melinda Leigh and Kendra Elliot -2 of whom i adore. This book is complex. Complicated. Full of suspense and lies and yes – that inexplicable passion that is earth shattering. This review won’t do it as much justice as I will ever hope- because how can you remotely describe the incredible awe you have in this author until you read it?’ This is a book that SCREAMS re-reading!!! And I hope this series comes out on audible because it’s simply that amazing! 10 stars!
Wow what an explosive and satisfying conclusion for Margo and Caleb! I loved everything about this trilogy and could not put it down! I’ve loved these two from the start, (even though Caleb was hard to LIKE at first, you knew good was in there somewhere) but BOY were the cards stacked against them. Margo found a bit more backbone as the story continued and I loved seeing that! Caleb showed a bit of his vulnerable side, his hurt little boy within that I needed to see. The author definitely found what she needed to make these two feel like well rounded characters who experience real growth throughout. Also, loved the mystery/suspense element. Just a great conclusion and I can’t wait to find out what Eli did to get Riley so angry lol.
