I’ll show them no mercy.
I made a promise to Caleb, and I intended to keep it.I just didn’t anticipate the aftermath. One betrayal. One lie.One devastating cover up.It’s all out in the open now, and this time, I’m not running away. The secrets I hold are enough to destroy us.The truth is supposed to set us free—but we aren’t destined for freedom. This is a dark high school bully romance with mature … destined for freedom.
This is a dark high school bully romance with mature content and themes. It contains dubious situations that some readers may find offensive. If you’re looking for a white knight hero, this book is not for you.
Wicked Promises is book three of the Fallen Royals Series. It is the conclusion of a trilogy and NOT a standalone.

Wicked Promises is the action packed, emotional conclusion to Margo and Caleb’s story. Picking up right where Wicked Games ended, you are taken on a twisted ride as Margo and Caleb try to weave their way through the web of deceit and lies.
My absolute favorite book in this series. the evolution of Caleb and Margo’s characters has been amazing. Caleb is more than the spoiled rich kid we met in Wicked Games. And Margo really grew into herself. I love strong, female characters and her evolution into one badass chick just might be my favorite thing about this series.
“Wolves have teeth, and it’s about time I grow into mine.”
Wicked Promises is the most EPIC conclusion to Caleb and Margo’s story!!!!!! There were so many unexpected twists in their story. I absolutely loved how twisted the whole plot ended up being. The identity of UNKOWN…..completely blew my mind. The secrets of their past were so much more than I anticipated. This book is intense, and romantic, and just perfect.
These characters will forever hold a place deep in my heart. The way Margo grew in these books is inspiring. Caleb being able to overcome what had been pretty much brainwashed into him to discover the truth and acknowledge his hearts true desire is impressive. The downright evil of some of the other characters (I can’t ruin the surprise) is genius. I can’t wait to read the upcoming books about the rest of Caleb’s gang.
Also, I just want to throw out there that a book about the dad’s in high school would be so awesome.
What a whirlwind!!
This book is action packed!! It’s full of angst, danger, emotion, twists and turns. These characters have grown and changed so much since the beginning and has been wonderful to see! The developments and truths are mind blowing and exciting as they unravel and I can’t wait to read more about these characters!!
A MUST READ SERIES!!
Great conclusion to an angst-filled, steamy, enemies-to-lovers tale. The intrigue and twists with little clues along the way were nail-biting. I liked the evolution of the hero and heroine’s relationship, both demonstrating more maturity and strength. The character development was excellent, with the side characters contributing extensively and very enjoyable to the drama. You truly felt as if you knew each character, could feel their personal response to the events. I truly didn’t know know how events would come to fruition.
Towards the middle of the book, the storyline began to lose some pace with a lot of superfluous detail that impacted its progression. By now at book 3, I felt I was reading more of the same. I knew how events would come to fruition. A great intertwining of steam, tumultuous love and romantic suspense whose writing slowed its pace.
What a rollercoaster of emotions this series as taken me for. Wow! Wow! Wow!
This is not your average bully type romance. It had layers upon layers of emotions and mystery. My love hate feels over Caleb really had me all conflicted. Margo oh brave and strong Margo. She is one fierce young women!
This is the first series I read by this author and after book 1 I quickly became a fan! Although the trilogy is complete the author is giving us Eli and Riley’s story next so I am very excited to see what was really going on with those two and what the author has in store for them.
Everything I needed and more. That’s what was in these pages.
I FINALLY got all the pieces to the puzzle of Caleb & Margo, as well as the complete history of their parents.
I needed all of it.
Even more than that, I got a cast of complicated characters that I wasn’t sure I liked until this book here.
The growth, the development, not just for the characters but the relationships between them, was great to finally see.
Highly recommended.
The Fallen Royals Series is addictive and explosive! It’s more than a high school bully romance. Mystery and suspense that will suck you in!
As Caleb and Margo’s journey continues the Unknown caller is still stalking both of them putting their lives in danger.
Caleb is surprised when Margo reveals secrets he wasn’t aware of.
Margo has become a stronger person and Caleb is no longer a bully but a hero. Both are determined to find the mystery of their past.
I love the secondary characters Lenora and Robert, Margo’s loving and caring foster parents. Even Caleb’s Fallen Royals, Liam, Eli and Theo, are there to help protect Margo.
This series is better than PLL! A masterpiece!
Can’t wait for Eli and Riley’s story, Vicious Desires!
*Fallen Royals Series:
Wicked Games
Wicked Dreams
Wicked Promises
Vicious Desires coming soon! Eli and Riley’s story
WICKED is so right!!!! The story line and the characters both were so wicked in all three books but this book went beyond WICKED!!! So many times I thought I had UnKnown figured out but WOW, JUST WOW!!! What a crazy and daring ride this book is, but so damn good! Caleb and Margo have a wicked love story thats hard to put down. Now we just need it as a show to watch.
The plot thickens! Margo is missing and the police suspect Caleb of kidnapping her.
Where is she and will she be found in time…
This is the third book in this series and as they each continue from the previous book, they do need to be read in release order.
We are thrown in at the deep end at the start of this book with a kidnapping scenario, which was all rather exciting!
But then it all became a jumbled mess in my mind as they tried to discover the identity of unknown, her stalker.
The links and connections gave me brain ache, trying to unravel them all and remember who was who etc.
Everything was thrown onto the back burner from relationships to character development all that mattered was finding the answers.
I loved the previous two books but this one didnt float my boat quite as much.
I found I couldn’t relax as I read this as I was constantly having to think about the names that were thrown about.
Overall a great series. I just found this a bit of a let down thus I’m giving it four stars and not five.
Wicked Promises does not disappoint my friends! This book is my absolute favorite of the trilogy. I devoured this book in less than a day (adulting did not get in the way this time!) and I wish I would have taken more time to savor this amazing conclusion to Margo and Caleb’s story. I’m fairly certain I’m having a serious book hangover right now. Wicked Promises takes off exactly where Wicked Games left off. Remember that cliffhanger?! Well, we find out exactly what happens to Margo right away. This book starts off with a bang and just keeps getting better and better the more you read. Wicked Promises is everything I needed and more. The ending to this amazing trilogy is EVERYTHING! Margo and Caleb own my heart completely.
Caleb Asher is my new book boyfriend. He is MINE and no one else can have him! He is one of my favorite book boyfriends to date. Caleb has come along way since Wicked Dreams. I did not like his character at all in Wicked Dreams, I started to fall in love with him in Wicked Games, and I am completely head-over-heels in love with his character in Wicked Promises. His character transformation and development is one of my absolute favorite things about this trilogy. Caleb can still be pretty dark and twisted at times (why do I enjoy that so much?), but it’s never directed at Margo anymore. That boy is so completely head-over-heels in love with that girl and he would do anything to protect. In Wicked Promises, we start to see a more mature and grown-up side of Caleb. It’s so refreshing to see, especially after the crap he pulled in Wicked Dreams and Wicked Games. He started to realize that Margo is not the one to blame for all of his family and life troubles. Caleb does some reflection of his own and starts to put some of the missing pieces together in his mind. I won’t say more than that because I do not want to give anything away! I’m basically obsessed with Caleb’s character and I think so many people will be too after they read Wicked Promises. He is the absolute best and I am so sad that his story is over.
Margo Wolfe has also done a complete transformation in this trilogy. She started off as timid, more of a push over, and easily manipulated by Caleb. Now, she’s a complete and total badass. She doesn’t let anyone walk all over her and if she wants answers, she goes out and gets those answers. She doesn’t let Caleb (or anyone else really) tell her what to do or what to think. She truly is her own person now. Margo is also a little bit more dark, wicked, and twisted. And let me tell you, I am here for it! I fully encourage this side of her. It’s not quite where Caleb is, but it’s not too far off. It’s also something she struggles to come to terms with. She doesn’t really know what to do with this darker side of herself. I think it’s used as a form of protection from all of the bad memories and bad things people have done to her. When Margo finally unlocks her memories, she struggles to come to terms with this new knowledge and how to handle the fallout. She’s such a strong and amazing character though. She figures it out one step at a time and I admire the hell out of her.
Again, Margo and Caleb are FIRE together. These two could set a building on fire with how hot their chemistry is. I absolutely love them together. Wicked Games focused more on the physical connection/relationship between Margo and Caleb, while Wicked Promises focuses more on the development of a deeper emotional connection/relationship between them. This is what I had been waiting for! I am all for a hot physical relationship between two characters, but when they can also connect on a deeper emotional level, then I am a complete goner for them. Margo and Caleb start to communicate with one another and work together to get answers about the mystery surrounding the Asher and Wolfe families. It was amazing to watch their love grow and evolve. They had respect for one another and didn’t want to see the other hurt. They also had complete faith in one another. Margo knows Caleb will do anything to protect her, right his wrongs, and help her find the answers she so desperately needs. Caleb knows Margo will do anything to protect him, make him feel loved, and help him find the answers he so desperately needs. These two have come such a long way since Wicked Dreams and they deserve their happy ending. And the ending to the trilogy is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!
S Massery did a fantastic job on the secondary characters as well. Robert and Lenora are amazing foster parents. I loved Robert in Wicked Games, but I wasn’t as big of a fan of Lenora. Wicked Promises completely changed my view of Lenora’s character. We get to know a lot more about Lenora and realize that she’s actually a pretty good person. I wasn’t expecting to like her character, so I was pleasantly surprised when I did. And of course I still love Robert in Wicked Promises. I adore his relationship with Margo. We learn so much more about Margo and Caleb’s parents and how their lives spiraled out of control and they ended up where they are today. I’m not going to go into detail on them because it would be too hard not to give something away! I love my bad boys of Emery-Rose Elite and was so happy to see a little bit more of them (cannot wait for all their stories!). Riley is amazing as always and I can’t wait to learn more about her and Eli next. Those two are so complex.
Overall, I give this story 5/5 stars! Wicked Promises has a little bit of everything. This story has suspense, intrigue, mystery, and intense romance. Wicked Promises finally unveils the mystery of the Wolfe and Asher families, what Margo’s blocked memories are, and reveals Unknown’s identity and how they factor into Caleb and Margo’s story. There is so much to love about this book and the trilogy overall. You will not want this story to end, but when it does, it has the PERFECT ending! You may even tear up a bit because Margo and Caleb deserve their happy ending and they finally get it! I’m sad to reach the end of Margo and Caleb’s journey, but I am so excited to see where S Massery takes us in Eli and Riley’s story next.
Finally, this dark bully trilogy is complete!
There’s quite a bit of redemption for both Margo and Caleb, and finally Unknown is unmasked. I had figured this out, but when everything started coming together it was such a fun sprint to the end of this story!
Coming out of the extreme darkness of the previous two in this series was one heck of a ride, but the ending suits the story very well. Hard to say goodbye to this couple and this world, but glad to see Margo and Caleb sort themselves and their situation out!
Looking forward to Eli and Riley’s story!
4.5*
This is my favourite in the trilogy. The writing gets better with every book and the twists and turns had me biting my nails.
Caleb and Margot’s journey continues right from where Wicked Games left off and in this story, secrets are unveiled, and questions are answered. This is a stunningly written story which is so dark, wicked intense, just twisted to keep me turning the page, and filled with drama, suspense, mystery, and intrigue which all leads to the best ending. I cannot wait to read more from this gifted author whose work I highly recommend for everyone.
This is the 3rd and conclusion to this amazing trilogy and Caleb and Margo’s journey continues. This story continues straight on from where #2 ended, and in this story, secrets are unveiled, and questions are answered. This is a beautifully written story which is dark, intense, twisted, and filled with drama, suspense, mystery, and intrigue which all leads to heartfelt and breath-taking masterpiece. I cannot wait to read more from this gifted author whose work I highly recommend for all.

Oh my stars, this book completely consumed me! My book hangover will be substantial. I can’t remember the last time a book series made me feel this way. I can feel it in my bones.
I think that Massery’s writing gets better with each book. I can’t get over how inviting her writing style is. Reading one of her books just feels so natural. The narration is smooth and welcoming. I find myself racing through the pages with no effort. The way that she plots out her stories is something that I have to applaud her for. This book, and each of the books in this series, kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. She weaves mystery and suspense into her stories effortlessly. You can’t help but feel compelled to keep reading. Her writing is clever and mapped out so well.
These characters sink down into your bones. I don’t know how else to put it. They get inside your head and under your skin. I love how relatable and likable the characters are. You can’t help but love them and root for them. Even at the beginning of the series when Caleb was being a douchebag, he was still such an intriguing character. I also loved the character development for both Caleb and Margo. They change so much from the characters that we meet in the first book of the series and I loved watching their evolutions. I adore the secondary characters in this series and what we did get to see of them and their lives really makes me excited to read their stories when the series continues.
The development and progression of the romance in this series has been a delight to read. I love that Caleb and Margo are childhood best friends. Their past is full of a lot of trauma but they are able to hang on to each other while they weather the storm of their past and present. When they were finally a united front it was truly a beautiful thing. I loved Caleb’s devotion to Margo. The connection that they shared was so intense. Their chemistry was off the charts.
Overall, this is such a raw and edgy series that is full of epic suspense and unforgettable characters. You will feel so drawn to the story and you won’t want to put it down. I am so excited for the rest of the books in this series and whatever is next from this author! I am now officially a fangirl.
The Fallen Royals series continues with Wicked Promises by S. Massery. In this story we finally get to find out all the secrets that have been kept from Caleb and Margo. The drama and suspense are through the roof. I mean like it can not be contained it is so explosive. Sometimes I was just biting my gel nails in anticipation about what was going to happen next. Even though this brings a close to the story with Caleb and Margo as the main characters in the next book Vicious Desires, I’m sure they will show up as we learn more about Eli Black, those Royals need each other to survive. 5-glittery promises for Wicked Promises by S. Massery.
Margo Wolfe has been bounced around from foster home to foster home since she was ten and her father went to prison and her mom just went. Now, eight years later and she has finally found a stable home with a wonderful foster family that loves her, and she loves them. Originally one boy, Caleb Asher tormented Margo. Caleb and Margo had been best friends when they were younger, but Margo told a secret she wasn’t supposed to tell, and everyone’s family got torn apart. Caleb blamed Margo, at least he did till he fell in love with her. Someone wants to torment Margo and make her suffer. They want to take away Margo’s happiness and maybe even her life. Wicked Promises have been made in the past that ruined lives and now new promises are being made that just might end them.
