Welcome to their kingdom. They call me a heartless b*tch. An evil manipulator. A wicked princess who enjoys hurting people. They tell me terrible things happened.Things that changed my life forever. Only problem is…I can’t remember any of it.This is book 3 in the Royal Hearts Academy series. Please note: Although this is Bianca’s book, Cruel Prince (Jace and Dylan’s book) and Ruthless Knight … this is Bianca’s book, Cruel Prince (Jace and Dylan’s book) and Ruthless Knight (Cole and Sawyer’s book) should be read first for a better understanding of the family dynamic.
WARNING: Royal Hearts Academy is a New Adult/High School series of standalones filled with drama, a touch of angst, and boys who are bad to the bone. The characters are flawed. If you’re looking for a safe, sweet romance with nice heroes and heroines who are perfect all the time, this series is NOT for you.

Bianca has an amazing bond with her family, and her brother’s girlfriends. Bianca is going through an unspeakable tragedy with trying to find out who she really is and if its to late to change her old behavior. This book is about redemption, loving yourself, letting go of the past, and moving forward in life even if you don’t have all of the answers. This book was full of drama, suspense, twist and turns, heartbreak, and truths come to the surface. Bianca’s story is far from over and I can’t wait for the last book in this series to come out.
I dove straight into the Royal Hearts Academy world and was sucked in with Jace and Cole’s stories. It was only fitting baby Covington got her say too..
In the first 2 books, Bianca was a manipulative, cunning and cut throat character, I liked her instantly. Although some of her animosity towards other characters, mainly Jace’s soulmate Dylan, was ill informed, her heart was always in the right place.
Wicked Princess starts with Bianca suffering amnesia after being in a car accident. Mystery surrounds
the events of this accident, but the resulting amnesia does give her the opportunity of a clean slate to find herself again, without the memories of who she was before weighing her down. Through her journey of self discovery, she connects and falls in love with Stone, who’s brother is the nemesis of her own two brothers. Their relationship causes rifts in their respective families due to the history between the two – the Royal Hearts version of Romeo and Juliet.
Their relationship has its flaws and at times, I do question its genuineness, but I think these questions and doubts were purposely raised by the author and their story serves as sort of prologue before we dive into the final book of the series, Broken Kingdom.
The story, although shorter and not as in depth as Jace and Cole’s stories, does ends on one hell of a cliffhanger! There are so many unanswered questions, which I am expecting will all be answered in the next instalment.
Sufficeth to say, I’ll be counting down to the release of the final book in this series and the conclusion of Royal Hearts Academy.
“… how ironic it is that the only person who can fix my broken pieces is the same one responsible for causing the damage in the first place.” – Bianca.
At the beginning I would like to say that I loved the two previous books in Royal Hearts Academy series. Now about Wicked Princess… I feel like this book was a waste of time. If this is the first part of Bianca’s story, it was not really necessary (I’m talking about dividing the story into two separate books). Nothing interesting happened here. I think that this book could be easily combined with the second part. This whole relationship between Bianca and Stone was weird. No chemistry, minimum conversation just insta love. And Bianca.. She was annoying. I missed the old one.. The Queen B!
I’ve waited a long time for this book and I am disappointed
Book: Wicked Princess (Royal Hearts Academy, #3)
Author: Ashley Jade
Rating: 3/5 stars
This review will be different from my usual ones. Why? Well, I usually avoid including spoilers into my reviews. So be warned! Spoilers ahead.
Wicked Princess is book #3 in A. Jade’s, Royal Hearts Academy series. Even though I struggled to enjoy this story, I do want to recognize Ashley’s storytelling. She is excellent at keeping us hanging by a thread and driving us insane to know more about what’s will happen next. That is something I did like about the book, the whole mystery of what happened to Bianca, and why.
My biggest issue with this book is that I found it uninspiring. I was never able to fall in love with the story itself nor its main characters. The beginning of the book(the first five chapters or so) was captivating, I was intrigued, and I thought the story would only get better, but it didn’t(at least, not for me). It was more of a riddle we were never able to decipher, and from what I’ve seen, that was the author’s goal but, still, I feel this story could have been better it had a lot of potential yet missed the mark, by a lot!
Here is where the spoilers begin, tread carefully if you haven’t read the book!
So far, in the previous books, I have always loved one of the characters. In book 1, Oakley was my dude; for me, he was the best thing on that book. Like he is the definition of a broken hero, daddy issues, mommy issues, the whole I did the dirty with my step-mom thing, etc. He was IT for me. In book 2, I loved Sawyer and Cole equally, they were both beautifully written, and their story; touched my heart. In book 3, nothing, nada, empty, *keeps blinking*…
I was never able to connect with Bianca, I get her memories are lost, but I don’t know, I expected something different. I will say that I felt she was honest every time she remembered from her past, but that’s the thing, the Bianca from her memories was a horrible person and even though we didn’t have enough from her past, the things she did and made other do, were just awful.
And Stone… well he was okay, I mean, he seemed like a nice guy, but something tells me he is not. HE DIDN’T WRITE THAT POEM! And we all know it. His mood swings were very sudden, and I don’t know he seems shady. Maybe I’m wrong, but maybe I am not…
I am just hoping Broken Kingdom will give me the answers I am looking for, and that will redeem what happened here.

This is the third book in the Royal Hearts Academy series, and the story of Bianca. Bianca is one of the Covington siblings, and one of the characters I love to hate in the previous books. In this book we get a different Bianca, she has lost her memories, and along with them went her previous heartless self. This was a great read, and I can’t wait to finish reading Bianca’s story in the next book. This is twisted, intense, suspenseful, mysterious, raw, gritty, emotional, and dramatic.
3.5 stars
This book was nothing I expected. It absolutely surprised me. However, even though the writing and the way the story is told, is captivating, I think it didn’t reach it full potential. The story and the characters could have reached another depth in my eyes and make this book a perfect page turner.
I enjoyed every minute of it and totally recommend reading it, if you loved the first two books in this series.
Honestly I can’t tell you anything about this book. I’ve been sworn to secrecy and I dare not spill anything. All I can say is whether you love or hate Bianca, you will definitely want to read this book. I actually like Bianca. She’s blunt, opinionated and can be quite cruel but I can see the pain and hurt behind the walls she has put up, and I went in with an open mind. If you’re biding your time until the series is complete, have no fear, Broken Knight will be here soon!! I recommend this book and I ask that you trust the author, because there’s a method to her madness, and I’m ALL IN!!! Enjoy!!
Very Intriguing
This was not the story I was expecting for Bianca’s book. It has definitely taken me by surprise. I love how Ms. Jade keeps us guessing. My initial reaction, after surprise, was confusion…that this turn in Bianca’s story and life didn’t make sense. What I didn’t realize until the reveal of the next book in this series is that I wasn’t seeing the bigger picture and let me say, Ashley Jade’s mind is absolutely brilliant!!! Bianca’s story is not finished. This is just the beginning of her journey and her future is not necessarily set in stone (pun intended). Now looking back on it, this book is just amazing. All of the threads being woven together behind the scenes, little crumbs and nuggets along the way all leading up to an amazing and explosive ending to this series in the next book! I CANNOT wait to see how this all ends!
***4 “A beautiful nightmare!!!” stars***
A soul as black as the night sky.
Lips as red as the blood she’s out for.
The girl who leaves them running scared.
She’s a beautiful nightmare.
“The evil queens are the princesses that were never saved.” -Maleficent
After finishing the previous two books, i was waiting like crazy for Bianca’s story!!!
And finally, I got it!!! And what a story was that!!!
I won’t hide to you that i was making many assumptions of what will happen in this book and i had my theories, but damn me, Ashley proved me wrong and it felt soooo right!!!!
This book was soooo different of what i was expecting of Bianca, but i enjoyed the ride so much!!!
“How do you wake up to face a brand-new day without the constant reminder of everything lost?
How do you move past all the pain?
Easy. You don’t.
Because time doesn’t heal all wounds.
It just leaves you with scars.”
Well, do you remember Bianca in the previous books???
That gorgeous bitch who was living to manipulate the ones around her for her own benefit????
Well, that girl was a very intriguing character whom i wasn’t very sure that i liked, but still i wanted to learn more of her… And i needed to find out every single detail that made her her…
Well, that girl wasn’t around here anymore, and even though it seemed strange, it was also refreshing…
“Wondering who the girl I used to be was and what happened to her.”
Bianca had an accident and she had lost a big part of her recent memories…
As she was learning more about herself, she couldn’t see how she could be the girl she used to…
Everything was different and strange around her and every single thing that made her that way was leading back in a certain incident that took place in the past and changed her forever…
Be ready for a new Bianca and a new future and a new love to lay ahead of her…
“It’s too much.
The old Bianca -everything she did- is too much for me to take.
She’s like slow poison killing me piece by piece, and I want her gone.”
“I just want him to hold me.
Because the past… all the bad things I’ve ever done…
None of it matters when I’m with him.
I really liked this story…
It was heartwhelming and at some points, heartbreaking!!!!
I liked witnessing what had happened from a new aspect…
I liked Bianca’s new self… I liked the one who unexpectendly became more for her…
I liked how she made amends with some people…
I liked everything that happened in here, even when it hurt… even if i’m still having some holes in the whole picture…
I just liked this story. Period.
“You’re a Covington, dammit. We’re resilient assholes who survived the worst things imaginable then stood up and asked the universe if that was all they had because they hit like a little bitch.”
And of course, I can not wait for the fourth book!!!
I needed like the air I breathe and it is one of my highly anticipated stories…
If you know, you know!!!
I can not say more!!!!
I just only add that if you haven’t meet this crew yet, you don’t know what you’re missing!!!
“We aren’t over,” I whisper. Because the heart wants what it wants.
P.S. OMG!!! Did you read the blurb of the next book???
I’m dying here!!! I’m really dying and i don’t know what to expect!!!!
Ashey Jade, you are killing me (in a good way!)!!!

Wicked Princess
Royal Hearts Academy #3
By: Ashley Jade
REVIEW
Yikes! One thing is clear, and if you read through the reviews you’ll see what I mean. Wicked Princess is a polarizing book. You either love or hate it. I’ve chosen middle ground because it’s not my favorite of the Royal Hearts Academy series, but I didn’t hate it, either. I believe it’s just not possible for any author to please the majority all the time. If an author writes what the audience wants instead of the truth of their own creation, it’s pandering, anyway. This one was definitely shorter than last and felt like it was in a hurry. Bianca has an interesting story, but it seems to lean toward implausibility a bit too much. I would like to see Bianca in a more realistically grounded situation with a fully developed narrative and well rounded characterization. Maybe everything will tie together and make more sense by the end of the series? I hope!
This book was different than I expected. This series has been full of surprises. Overall, this was a good book and I will read more!
Wow! Talk about a single moment affecting the rest of your life. Bianca and Stone were a match I never saw coming and it worked SO well.
I need to start this review by revealing that I have some pretty complex feelings about Wicked Princess that I was not prepared to handle.
Bianca Covington is a character that is so tough, angry, and practically screams angst in her every breath, so I knew her story was going to be epic. My intuition in this case was way off course! Bianca is a girl completely changed from the bitter Queen B she had become and while I like this new version of baby Covington, her redemption story was not what I expected. There was a sense of incompleteness while reading Wicked Princess that frustrated me to no end! I really wanted to finish this story absolutely loving it like I did with the other two books in the Royal Hearts Academy series, but I’m left instead wanting and waiting for more.

3.5 Stars!
I was genuinely heart broken after that ending and I didn’t know what or how to feel, which is why I delayed writing this review a little. And I am actually happy about that. I have to thank Ashley Jade and her next book Broken Kingdom for that because that really shouldn’t have been the end.
Even though I mostly didn’t love Bianca’s attitude in the previous book but she was a fierce bitch who knew how to handle bullies. My heart broke for the Bianca in this book, I wanted to hug and make her see sense.
I feel like I was constantly screaming at Bianca to return to her superior bitch self and I want to see her make a grand comeback.
I am mad excited and blindly scared about Broken Kingdom and I have no clue how to act anymore.
Ashley knows how to put words to a page with so much emotions and all the feels. This is definitely a book to walk into blind and with an open mind. Everything isn’t as it seems and I won’t delve into any details.
Out of the series this book was definitely the shortest and at times it felt a little rushed and was sad I didn’t get much of a certain someone but definitely looking forward to the next book in this series!!!
Awesome! I knew from the last book (Ruthless Knight) that there were hidden depths in Bianca! Although she was a mean and ruthless Queen B in school and did a lot of damage, there were good feelings hidden inside of her. I wasn’t sure how the author was going to vindicate her, but it was brilliant and well done!
There’s not a lot to say about this book without revealing the big spoiler, so suffice to say that I loved the book. A lot of information we were missing in previous books is given here so there were a lot of “aha!” moments. Jace and Cole appear frequently in this issue, together with their sweethearts, Devon and Sawyer. And even their father finally makes an appearance!
The pace was swift and fast, so that I could read it in almost one sitting! The plot didn’t feel completely finished, so I hope it will be completed in future books. Also, I have to say I didn’t love her choice of love interest, so hope that gets fixed too.
In all, interesting, riveting, and finally, information reveal! These Covington siblings have really had their share of suffering, passed some suffering forward to other people but are finally turning into mature and considerate individuals. And now looking forward to the next book and the final sorting of this interesting and slightly tragic family story!
Well, this book has left my mind all over the place! What did I just read, wow!
Bianca was the Covington I was most looking forward to. She’s the Queen B, super-bitch and oozes attitude from the pages in the previous books and waiting to see her be tamed by her man was something I couldn’t wait for!
In this book, this is not the Bianca we get after she loses her memory in a car crash. I must admit, waking up thinking you are eight when you are in fact eighteen must be frightening, although her memory does start to come back slightly there is still so much she doesn’t know and she constantly feels left in the dark. Especially since the new Bianca is nothing like who she believes she is now.
I don’t want to say too much about this story except it’s nothing that I was expecting and Ashley has played us so well with what happens and the little bombshell she dropped right at the end has my mind reeling with theories and so many questions!
This is a standalone, but I would read the previous books in the series, especially since the previous characters appear so frequently in this book.
Now, I’m away to stalk Ashely for answers and countdown to ‘Broken Kingdom’.

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Bianca’s story. This girl has always lived up to her title, Wicked Princess. She is the girl everyone loves to hate. This story was everything I excepted and so much more. Full of angst, drama, raw emotions, heart break and left me wanting more. I truly believe this book is best to go into blind, so I won’t say too much here other than you just read this book! Bianca is the best so far!!
Each of the Covington kids thus far has come full circle with going through the sorrow, anger and guilt surrounding the death of their mother and brother, and the reader gets to experience these emotions through the Jace, Cole, and Bianca. In doing so, each perspective fills in a little bit more of their family history. Bianca’s story went in a direction I didn’t expect, but I found intriguing. This story picks up after a car accident leaves her badly injured. The journey to heal her body and her memories provokes a lot of introspective and mature thoughts which surprise both her and the reader. Herr relationship with Stone was pretty sweet and fitting for the post-accident Bianca, but she’s still healing. We saw a lot of “bully Bianca” in the first two books so this personality shift provided several LOL moments between her and her brothers which added another dimension to their sibling relationship. As Bianca’s mind continues to heal, will the old Bianca start to resurface? Can’t wait to see how the next book plays out for her!

What’s this book about? (I’m trying to give as little spoilers as possible)
I really can’t say. Sorry!
I didn’t like book one much until 60% hit me. Then book two gave me everything I wanted and more. I’m worshipping it still. And now this?!??? ASHLEY JADE SLAYED IT. Theories are bubbling. I was emotional while reading. I cried multiple times, I think?!? I. Am. No. Emotional. Reader. It’s very rare to cry so much! I love my Wicked Princess, but I think our leader supreme Ashley Jade has some more hardships for everyone in this universe planned. Go in blind. No reviews. No spoilers. Just let go of your frigid thoughts about what this book should be about. And ENJOY IT FOR WHAT IT IS. I really loved it. A quick read. Entertaining. Family drama and chemistry. Banter. It had everything. Details on things I needed to know from previous books. Perfect. Now I wait for Broken Kingdom, and, Lords of Romance, this wait is tough!
I recommend this to everyone who loves a bad bitch. It takes balls to be one.
ORIGINAL COMMENT:
Full review coming soon, BUT I LOVED THIS DIRECTION TAKEN. I was emotional. The family chemistry is just so heartwarming. I had tears in my eyes multiple times. My fav part of book one made another appearance and it was just gut-wrenching… How I love that character.
No hate will be tolerated. I personally disliked book one, but I’ve been so on board since book 2. I love myself my Wicked Princess!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish more people more people stopped projecting their own silly ideas upon authors who have distinct style and roads that they take when writing!
