Edwin Allen MercerI want them all to read my words. And they do. Every last blood-stained sentence, they’ve read and praised me for. They love the gore and violence, the realness. And I get a sense of power with it all because I know a secret: the victims in my books—they’re real and have all died on my table. And maybe that’s why the last book had such awful reviews. Murder is, after all, a … a dirty little thing. Some can stomach it. Others can’t. My answer to those reviews: find a woman to co-author with. To be the next pathetic character in my book. Pity she’s so pretty.
Miranda Cross
All I’ve ever wanted was to be successful as a writer so when I was offered the opportunity to co-author a book with my idol, EA Mercer, I jumped at the chance. He’s beautiful and a literary genius, but something about him makes my stomach knot. And maybe it’s my overactive imagination making my hairs stand on end when he walks up behind me.
After all, these wicked little words we’re typing are only fiction. They’re only fiction…

I’ve come to the conclusion that you should decline an invitation to join BT or Stevie in a cabin in the woods. Also, they need a serious case of Jesus. Haha. But in all honestly, I LOVED this book. It was different with bits of scary and bits of hotness. So good.
** spoiler alert ** This book was extremely hard to read. I felt like the 40 pages were nothing but just pure fluff. Some of the stuff didn’t even seem to have a point. It didn’t get interesting til about over half way in the book and then you start to see the similarities between Edwin and Miranda. Like this chick is nuts and he is a raging dick bag. The only likable person in the whole book is Janine and she was dead the whole. Oop spoiler but that really was the only thing interesting. It high remind me of a bad 80s horror slasher movies crossed with Dexter. I felt like the author need more research. And in the end she gets locked in a cell because she Has a personality disorder. Like come on that’s how you end it? Very difficult boring read and almost DNF.
5 Wicked Little Stars
I will admit that I was extremely leery of this book. I don’t do scary/horror…at ALL! But this book…THIS BOOK is fantastic! Once I started I couldn’t put it down. I powered through every page even when I was scared sh*tless! This book is shocking, intense and mind blowing AF. It’s definitely not for the faint of heart. It’s genius in the most frightening way and even though co-written, it flows seamlessly to the point you can’t tell who wrote what. And that ending…it left me with my mouth open thinking WTAF did I just read? Most EPIC ending I’ve ever read. Hats off to the wicked minds of Stevie and BT and a job very well done.

WoW! Not what I expected at all. Highly recommended to everyone.
A mind-bending novel that will have you wondering “what just happened?” LONG after you read the last word.
This genre of novel is not my “normal” read, but I took a chance because I am familiar with both authors and wanted to know what they created together and WOW!!!
The premise of Wicked Little Words ~ a writer using his own experiences in his work ~ is not new, many writers draw from their own lives, but this writer’s experiences were violent and gruesome and NOT what one would consider “normal”. And while we don’t find out immediately how “odd” this writer is, you will, and when you do you will be left with your jaw dropped wondering how you did not see THAT coming.
I am impressed by this collaboration between two very different writers and how the reader can’t really see the difference and can only assume as to who wrote what. I was not able to read the entire novel in one sitting, but was eager to get back whenever I had the chance because I was that drawn into the story and needed to know “what next”, and that started with the prologue and continued throughout. The ability to hook me from the start is something I value as a reader and Stevie J. Cole and BT Urruela definitely know how to grab you and hold on.
I won’t say when or even if I will ever read another psychological thriller, but I can say this is one I am glad I have read and highly recommend to lovers of the genre or to anyone who is looking for something different than their usual read.
Edwin’s an eccentric man with a knack for creating the creepy realism in his mysterious novels. His fan following has no idea just how real his words build out of things he’s experienced first-hand. Miranda is an aspiring young grad student, with visions of grandeur, on making it big one day within the writer’s world. All her dreams come true when she wins a contest to write with her favorite author, E. A. Mercer (Edwin). His novels were her muse and inspiration on her path towards success. The truth she seeks ultimately builds into her repertoire of the twisted realities she’s been running from all of her life, and it soon turns into her ability to become the judge and jury of her own innocence.
Stevie J. Cole and BT Urruela compose a sinfully twisted psychological thriller in Wicked Little Words. The duality in their stylistic structures portrayed through the female and male characters quickly wrap the story into a heart stopping thriller, digging deep into the mental workings of a serial killer. With traces of Ted Bundy mixed with a Poe and King mental manipulation, Cole and Urruela develop the characters of Edwin and Miranda into the ultimate paradox through juxtaposing of moral and ethical fundamentals. The judicial righteousness, built through Jax, only adds to the richness of the gory tale quickly unraveling. Ultimately, there is a self-indulgence of duplicity written into the motif’s. Clues, dropped subtly along the path of the gnarled details, slowly reveal the true psychos of the ultimate break down of a person. Without a doubt Wicked Little Words will challenge every last piece of decency within one’s own human character. Incredibly well written, a true testament to the craft of a well-designed and developed plot. Even if murder, serial killers, and psychological gaming is not your typical read, you’d be remised to skip out on this fiendishly shocking morsel.
