Meet Lizzie. She’s 31 and having a premature mid-life crisis. So, she bought a lonely, run down old house that pulled on her heartstrings. But with the purchase Lizzie gets more than she bargained for. She didn’t expect the engagement ring and letters of forbidden love hidden under the attic floorboards. She didn’t expect the lazy cat, or the drop dead gorgeous handyman. And she definitely didn’t … definitely didn’t expect the stalker.
As the renovation begins and the house starts to slowly return to its former glory, the letters dog her dreams. Why was the writer forced to turn away from his love? Why was their love forbidden? And why was this all hidden under the floorboards?
Filled with a drive to reunite the ring with its rightful owner, Lizzie engages the help of her new handyman, her crazy family and her sex crazed Grandma, and sets on a journey of lost love, heartache, and public damnation.
But can Lizzie restore the house to its former glory, and find who it all once belonged to before her stalker catches up with her? Or will she lose everything…including her life?

I am loving this series so much MS Prentice knows how to have a reader turning the pages trying to uncover a mystery but still laughing so much with this fabulous family and their personalities that make them feel like friends, it was like walking back into the family when I picked this one up.
Molly Fuller is pregnant, not something she planned but it has happened and the announcement at the family dinner was not how she would have spread the word but again this has happened, her boyfriend Matt is a little shell shocked and tells her he needs to go away for a short trip leaving Molly alone, then strange things start to happen photos of Matt with a woman are sent to her phone and strange messages are coming in and she cannot get a hold of Matt, lucky she has her family.
Matt has uncovered a secret that could shatter his and Molly’s relationship especially now that she is having his baby and he must get to the truth. When he returns he finds Molly not too happy and their relationship is on a thin thread but with messages and threats coming through and Molly’s family stepping in to help where they can life is never dull with the Fuller family but will they get to the truth of what is happening before someone is seriously hurt?
There is never a dull moment with the Fuller family especially with Grandma Mabel around and with secrets to uncover this family throws everything into protecting each other, I loved Molly and Matt there was a lot they had to get through but their love shines and I can’t wait for more in this spin off series, I am wondering what MS Prentice is going to put them through next, I am sure I will love it as I did this one, this story is one that I highly recommend thank you MS Prentice for another fabulous story.
Grandma Carol’s secret, a murder, a stalker and a missing boyfriend make for an interesting and enjoyable read. Pregnant Molly, boyfriend Matt, grandma Mabel, who was a little over the top are lovely characters along with the rest of the family. Will definitely want to read the rest of this series

There is so much happening in this book and I love it! The whole way through all I kept thinking was how much I wanted to know why someone was messing with Molly and Matt to such an extreme! I was seeing bad intentions in everything! I think I got a little too involved in the story…but that just shows how great the story is!

Wicked Little Lies: Molly is the first book in The Westport Mysteries series. I loved this book and cannot wait for the next one in the series.
The characters in this story are well developed, somewhat quirky, and likable. The storyline is well written and entertaining, with humour, an unexpected pregnancy, secrets, a strange but supportive family, mystery, suspense, and the wonderful Grandma Mabel.
This is the first book I have read by this author and I am looking forward to reading more of her work.
I read and reviewed this book with no obligation.
Wicked Little Lies is the first book in Beth Prentice’s brand new light-hearted, romantic mystery trilogy series. A well written murder mystery with another on top of it. This is the first book by this Author that I have read. Molly Fuller and Matt Wilson’s story there is suspense, drama, danger, attempted murder, murder, and romance. I really enjoyed getting to know these characters. This is Mollys story. Molly is a photographer..she has seen a lot of things no one else sees in the same way. But, when she finds out that she is pregnant..that really throws her for a loop..how will she cope? How will she tell Matt? Will he stick around? When Matt leaves town after he is told, Molly is unsure if he will come back..especially since someone has been sending here texts with Matt kissing a woman. With all these doubts, Molly begins to search for the truth, because she notices something in one of the pictures shows that he never left town like he said. I love how the author has a way of describing things. There is one part where the author talks about Matts reaction to something.. ” he stood there opening and closing his mouth like 5 times I, ( Molly) finally had to tell him close your mouth, you look like a goldfish” lmao!! There are so many more funny moments in this book. There are also some serious and dramatic twists and turns in the the story that will keep you turning the pages to find the answers. This is another hit for this wonderful and talented author!
