Liars.
Every last one of them.
The kings and queens of my new high school.
The father and stepmother I never knew.
Each has more wealth and privilege than I could’ve ever imagined.
Each has a pile of wicked dirty secrets they’d do anything to protect.
These people have grown accustomed to getting what they want and what they want is to make my life a living hell.
Too bad for them, you … life a living hell.
Too bad for them, you can’t break someone who’s already broken.
Too bad for them, I won’t give up without a fight.
Too bad for them, I’m going to make them pay…even if it’s the last thing I do.
*Wicked Liars is the first book in the Windsor Academy series. This is a dark high school bully romance that may contain triggers for sensitive readers. Due to mature subject matter, it is recommended for readers 18+ only.

In one word WOW by Laura Lee this is one series that I know is going to kick butt. This is not your usual high school enemies turn friends romance but much more don’t know where to start. We have the three Kings aka Kingston, Reed and Bentley, three men who rule Windsor Academy and their bitchy Queens Peyton, Whitney and Imogen. Of all the three Queens readers better watch out for Peyton, talk about evil stepsister to the core. I loved that Kingston doesn’t take no shit and no matter how much Jazz fights him you can tell right away she has gotten under his skin. Now Jazz is no damsel in distress and love how much she fights for what she believes in and doesn’t change to the people like Peyton. Of all the Kings you can tell they are more then just friends but a band of brothers that will go through anything for their woman and friends. Like I said this new series by Laura Lee is not one for any reader but one that wants that hard core romance and not the vanilla kind, the one that wants love and beliefs to prevail but most of all one that wants to see justice fight through everything. Cannot wait to see what Jazz will do in the next book for this is one cliffhanger that needs to be explained, loved it.
“I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.”
I knew what I was getting into but I also didn’t because a bully romance can always go different ways. I enjoyed this one immensely. Jazz is my type of girl with so much depth that she doesn’t bore you. The other characters are just as likable when you’re not hating them. What a great introduction to these characters. I was on edge waiting to see what happened and then…BAM. I had to pick up the next book to continue.
Wicked Liars is the first book in the series.
After her mom’s death, Jazz moves into her father’s house, her father being a very wealthy and shady man. She lives there with her stepsister, Peyton, which is the queen of Windsor Academy. The king of the school is Kingston Davenport, who is Peyton’s boyfriend.
Jazz is poor, so she is seen as trash by the elite schoolers. I liked that she is feisty and does not back down from an argument, taking care of herself and not letting herself be stomped on.
Kingston starts to have feelings for her, or is he, it gets quite confusing, not a bad thing, just part of the plot, to keep you hooked.
There is some secret going on here, so we only get to know that Kingston tries to discover something, but we don’t have too much on this.
I liked how fast the friendship between the magnificent trio and Jazz occurred.
There is high school drama, there are secrets, hot steamy encounters and in the end you will have questions. That’s all I’m gonna say. It ends on a cliffhanger, but it’s a good thing that the second book is out already.
*ARC received in exchange of an honest review.*
Wow! This is my first Laura Lee book, it is the first book in this series and it’s amazing. Laura took a trope that could have been watered down and wrote a dark, edgy, raw story about a girl from the wrong side of town.
Jazz hasn’t had an easy life but it was one full of love, when her mother was killed she was forced to live with her “sperm donor” and his family in a world that she could never even imagine.
Kingston is one of the Kings of Windsor Academy, his life is planned out until Jazz walks in and flips his world on its axis.
This is not a touchy feely, sugary sweet story. This story has many layers and not for the weak at heart. Remember this is the first book of an ongoing 3 book series that ends with a cliffhanger so be prepared!
This book reads like a movie, meaning I was sucked in and so thankful I had book 2 on hand because I wouldn’t have been able to wait to see what happens!
If you are ok with gritty scenes then you are going to love this series! Don’t miss out!
There so much going on here. This is my first read by this author and I just love what she’s adding to the bully romance world. Secrets galore and you never know what’s going to turn up next. That ending was WILD. I’m SO glad I have book two lined up. Thanks to Greys Promo for the complimentary copy.
Wow, this book is everything. This book entranced me the moment I started, and it only took a few hours to read the entire thing. Reality slipped away, and I fell into the elite world of the students that attend Windsor Academy.
This book is the perfect high school bully romance, and I cannot wait to read book two!!
What a great book!
This is the first book I’ve read by Laura Lee and I LOVED IT! Seriously, what a great start to a series. I devoured this book so fast as I couldn’t put it down.
I love Jazz. Her attitude, her strength, all of it, just makes her such a realistic, relatable and lovable character. Her friendship with Ainsley too is wonderful.
I also really love Kingston. He is such a great, broody guy and even though at first he doesn’t like Jazz you can feel the chemistry between the two of them.
Bentley is such a cheeky guy too and I really found his sense of humour entertaining.
The writing flowed and the storyline, although not unique, was well thought out and exciting. I instantly started book two after the cliff-hanger ending!
I received a complimentary copy of this book and am so happy that I did.
Wow just wow.
This was a new to me author and one I’d heard a lot of good things about, but didn’t expect that.
From cover to cover I was white knuckling my kindle, going through a range of emotions so quick I nearly gave myself whiplash.
With fantastic characters and a gripping plot you’ll be unable to look away.
What a brillant start to a series.
Cannot wait to dive into book 2!!!!
Lies, deception, and who do you trust all play a part in this wicked game.
Wicked Liars is the first book in this series and it ends on a whopper of a cliffhanger!! Just when you think you know who to trust…bam…don’t turn your back, this plot weaves in and out and everyone is a suspect.
I’m eagerly awaiting to jump into the next book to delve deeper into this mystery, along with finding out more on each character. There are certainly unanswered questions and characters that need flushing out because there are a ton of secrets running around this privileged world.
Jasmine Jazz Callahan has been thrown into an elitist world after losing her mother. For the very first time in seventeen years she is meeting her father and she isn’t exactly happy about that fact. He’s extremely rich and he’s never once paid a dime to support her, but once she gets deeper into his world, she quickly learns that she’d take her poor upbringing that was full of love vs. the sterile, cold man who calls himself her father. To add insult to injury, she’s thrust into an elitist school where she’s bullied by her stepsister, Peyton, and her boyfriend, Kingston.
Kingston has secrets. Secrets that he doesn’t appreciate the new girl showing up and getting in the middle of. He is all too happy to upset her life and throw off any scent to his plots. Jazz is just another pawn he can use to get what he needs, if she ends up liking him it will work even better in his ultimate plan.
Wicked Liars is a twisted, who do you trust on the spin the wheel of your heart game. I was completely on the edge of my seat and couldn’t put it town until the very last page. Now I need to find out what happens next.
Jasmine Callahan is thrown into the lion’s den when her mother dies and she becomes a student at elite prep school Windsor Academy, courtesy of the father she never knew. Jazz is “welcomed” to the family by her mean girl step-sister Peyton, a fellow student at Windsor, who warns her to keep out of her way and to stay far away from her boyfriend Kingston Davenport. Easier said than done when the handsome Kingston refuses to leave Jazz alone. Jazz just wants to be left alone but what she doesn’t realise is there are bigger forces at play. Note: This story ends on a cliffhanger.
Wicked Liars is a dark, angsty and intriguing page-turner. I can’t wait to read Ruthless Kings, Book 2 of the Windsor Academy series.
This author is a fairly new author to me, but she is fast becoming one of my favorites. This is the first book in the Windsor Academy series, and the story of Kingston, and Jazz. When Jazz is forced to move in with her father, she is thrown into a world of wealth, and privileged that she’s never experienced. This was a amazing read, the characters are well written, and have explosive chemistry. This is dark, intense, twisted, gritty, suspenseful, mysterious, dramatic, emotional, and steamy.
This is my first foray into Laura’s books and oh, boy why to start with a bang.
Wicked Liars is a complete page turner, fast paced and action packed, with such a cliffhanger ending that will have you yelling at Laura for making you wait for the next book.
This book truly has my interest peeked, and I’m certainly going to enjoy diving into Ruthless Kings to try and untangle the thread.
5 stars and a mystery.
Holy hotness that was an incredible ride. I need a fan because it got hot in here pretty quickly. You could cut the chemistry and sexual tension with a knife.
Jazz. She was awesome. Definitely someone I would be proud to have as a BFF. She doesn’t care what other people think and has no problem speaking her mind and it is amazeballs.
Kingston. Classic rich prick that you can’t help but be in love with. He’ll have you swooning and cursing at the same time. I can’t give a full explanation on how I feel about him because of how the book ends, but I’m hoping the next book answers some of my curious questions I have.
Jazz & Kingston. The push and pull and sexual buildup is so strong with this book.
You can’t help but keep reading it’s so addicting. Every page turn takes you on an awesome journey leaving you wanting more.
GO READ THIS AWESOME BOOK NOW AND ENJOY THE TORTURE!

This the first book in the Windsor Academy Series, an amazingly dark High School Bully Romance. Jazz is such a strong and badass heroine! Kingston is dark, alpha, intense, commanding, and secretive. The cast of supporting characters is impressive, and they are intriguing! The storyline is captivating, filled with secrets, lies, and twists and turns. And OMG that cliffhanger ending! I need the next book right now to know what happens next!
Well my welcome to Windsor Academy was pure perfection! What an introduction Wicked Liars was to Laura Lee. This bully romance was just amazing! Wicked Liars had so many layers that had me on the edge of my seat.
Reed, Bentley and Kingston, with names like that I knew I was going to love them all. And I did. I would like them all please. Each amazing in their own way but all complete jerks. And let’s face it that makes them hotter. I love a good a**hole. I loved Jazz as the h. She has layers and doesn’t show them all at once. She was strong but not in your face.
Each and every character in this book added to the book, right down to the fathers and their shady doings. I’m addicted to each one of these characters and I hope we see many more books with them.
The chemistry between the two main characters is off the charts hot. Whatever Lee was trying to do with them she did.
Wicked Liars has me addicted to these characters and needing more. Lee packed this book with suspense, twist, turns and steam. This book was like going on a rollercoaster blindfolded. I never knew what was going to happen. For every answer she gave me, she gave me 5 more questions.
Wicked Liars is a 5 star, must read from Laura Lee!
Jazz and Kingston’s story had more then just a bully romance, it had Jazz on a mission to secure a better future for her sister and it made me love her. Kingston has his reasons which he feels are valid for treating Jazz the way he did but no matter the bullying they can’t debt the chemistry they have.
This is my first book by this author and I’m so glad that I found her.
I was immediately pulled into this world where the new girl gets treated like trash but really is so much better than the insane hierarchy that’s in play at the new school she’s attending.
Jasmine has a target on her back from the start and as she captures the attention of Kingston who’s the king of their high school. All she wants is to be invisible and make it through senior year she most certainly doesn’t want anything to do with Kingston but it seems neither she or Kingston have much of a choice because the fiery connection they share won’t allow either of them from giving into it.
I love Jazz’s sassy mouth and how in any given situation she is undeniably herself and proud of it. There is so much more than meets the eye with Kingston and although he does seem to have a soft spot for Jazz there’s a much bigger piece of the puzzle that is his priority. Secrets, twists & turns, blazing chemistry, lies and betrayal is what really rules at Windsor Academy.
4 stars!!
This is book one of the “Windsor Academy” series and ends in a killer cliffhanger.
This book is labeled “dark high school bully romance”. Though I do agree with the high school bully I am not sure I am so set on the “dark” part. Regardless this book kept me intrigued from the first page to the very last page.
I will say this seems similar to other bully romances I read, but great characters and I see some big twists coming. I really love the group of characters. I have zero clue who to trust and who not to. The three “Kings”, Reed, Bentley and Kingston all make me swoon for their own reasons, and don’t worry I also would like to junk punch them as well on occasion.
“Hey, Little Red Ride Me From the Hood. Look at you, surrounded by three big, bad wolves.”
Jazz is a spirited thing. She is resilient but it drives me nuts that she let them get away with what happened at that party and they just brush her off. Once she found her feet I was excited. I love her friendship with Kingston’s sister. As well as her own sister Belle.
I felt a few holes in the plot and I am hoping with book two the author helps fill them. This is a great start. I’m going straight to book two now!!
I’ll be honest, I was hesitant to read a bully romance from a rom-com writer. But I’m here to submit myself to Laura Lee’s feet and beg her forgiveness. I was wrong, so deliciously wrong.
Wicked Liars is EVERYTHING!!!
I hated Kingston in the beginning, which is a good thing. Trust me. Can’t have a good bully romance without the love/hate thing that builds into something sexually explosive. But after I learned more about him, he still had an attitude but he captured my heart in very surprising ways.
And I loved Jazz. She was kick-ass and says it like it is. I don’t know about you, but I hate it when the heroine is pissed off by the way she’s being treated but keeps her mouth shut. Just thinking about it right now is irritating me. Well, Jazz doesn’t have that problem. She has no issue telling people where to stick it.
I won’t give any of the story away but I will tell you, that cliffhanger will having you one-clicking the next book. Thankfully, I waited until the second book was out before I read this, but now I have to wait for the third – which can’t come soon enough.
Ms. Lee, you write amazing bully romance. I hope you consider coming to dark side again with more books.
“This book has so many twists, secrets, and lies that will make you not want to put the book down. It is a page turner. I recommend all romance readers to read this one. The characters are awesome. Some you just hate and some you love.”
