The edgy, angsty, addictive YA/NA crossover series from L A Cotton continues… Some hearts are too broken to fix. Kiera Lessinger’s whole life is a lie. Attend high school with her rich friends, check. Act sickeningly in love with her goofball-of-a-boyfriend, check. Pretend that every day isn’t a living nightmare, check. She didn’t ask to be thrust into her new life, but if it means escaping … ask to be thrust into her new life, but if it means escaping her past she’ll do whatever it takes to stay there. Even if it means forgetting the boy with eyes bluer than the ocean and a smirk that only ever led to trouble.
Trey Berrick has cleaned up his act. No longer the boy breaking hearts with a could-care-less attitude, he’s finally trying to be the man his family always wanted him to be. Sophomore in college, check. The forever girl, check. But despite having the world at his feet, Trey can’t forget the girl with pink in her hair and pain in her eyes.
He’ll always be the boy who broke her heart and she’ll always be his friend’s little sister. Their story was never meant to have a happy ending.
Or was it?
*Wicked Hearts is the sixth book in the Wicked Bay Series but can be read as a standalone

Drama and humour..
This is a fabulous mix of second chance, friends to lovers, and taboo romance…Trey and Kiera are a match made in an alternative heaven…they clearly have feelings for each other, but they have both got insecurities, which amongst a whole host of other obstacles keeps them apart.
Once again the story is focused on the two MC but one of the things that I enjoy about this series is the fact that the whole crowd of previous protagonists and antagonists continue to feature in each instalment; I love the interactions between them, and I am enamoured with all the drama and humour found within this book and the series as a whole.
Lo and Maverick continue to be my favourite couple, but now I have a special place in my book world reserved for Kiera and Trey; these two have made mistakes and their heartache is real, but so is their emotional connection if only the past can be acknowledged, forgiven and forgotten…I received an advanced copy of this book from the author.
Wicked Hearts was exactly how I pictured Trey and Kiera’s story. I love their story. It felt real, the connection, the hurt between them. You always try to make everyone else around you happy but lose yourself while doing that. I loved seeing Trey and Kiera finally stand up for themselves and one another. Another great story by Lianne. I can’t wait for the next book.
Kiera Lessinger may be Kyle Prince’s sister, but she’s also the kid from the wrong side of Wicked Bay. She doesn’t quite fit in and often finds herself on the sidelines looking in. But, being a part of Wicked Bay also means finding a way to her future once she graduates from highschool. It’s a chance to escape Rotunda Heights. She may have fallen for Trey, ut she knows he is way out of her league and instead spends her time with Jack . . .who also finds himself on the outside looking in. She knows it isn’t forever, but it’s easy and comfortable.
Trey Berrick fell for Kiera the first time he saw her. But, not only is she related to the Stone-Prince clan, she’s 3 years younger than he is . . .which is a big deal since he is headed to college. He’s wasted his freshman year of college by partying and trying to forget Kiera, but he can’t. But now a sophmore, he feels like he’s a man now and needs to start living life for what he wants, and not what his parents want for him, including ditching the girl they want him to marry.
But, can all broken hearts be mended?
I loved being back in Wicked Bay! Kiera and Trey’s story was an unexpected treat in teh series. Kiera doesn’t come from the lavish Wicked Bay lifestyle and watching her try to find her way in that world was enlightening. We also learn more about her background, which gave her character so much depth. I also loved that Trey’s character had more to it than what we saw at first glance. He’s so much more than just the party boy and really was trying to do the right thing by Kiera. I really loved watching their struggle as they both matured from when they first met until Kiera turned 18 and was off to college herself.
4 Stars for Wicked Hearts! I loved being back in Wicked Bay High again as well as spending time with the entire Stone Prince clan.
This is Kiera and Trey’s story, and what an awesome addition to this series this is. Kiera is Kyle’s surprise step-sister who has had a humble upbringing, and struggles to fit in with the “in crowd”. Their journey is an emotional rollercoaster, and this storyline flicks between the past and the present. This is a well written flawless and relatable story, which had me totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I cannot wait to read more form this talented author, whose work I highly recommend for all.
Wicked Hearts: A Wicked Bay Novel (YA/NA crossover series)
Trey & Keira lovestory has heaps of angst, its highly addictive, romance & suspense seeping through the pages.
I have a love/hate relationship with these character’s. I absolutely loved Kiera Lessinger & her fiery personality.
Trey Berrick I loved/hated him at the same time. I love his personality, however, his decision making skills could use some work. I love the relationships between the mc’s and the supporting character’s. I’m happy to read about how Macy Prince & Kiera Lessinger’s friendship blossoms. I enjoy reading about Kyle Stone’s big brother protectiveness. He’s adorable. I love reading about the other character’s in this series as well.
I loved how this story unfolds by going back to the past and to the present and it really brought this narrative together.
A fabulous addition to this fun series.
Looking forward to reading Summer and Nick’s book next.
There’s not many series that you can get to book six and still find something knew each time but this author always delivers.
From the moment we first met Keira I’ve had a soft spot for her. There is something in her personality that just calls to me, her spiky take no prisoners attitude is matched evenly with her vulnerability. Trey is the player the joker of the pack the one who’s good for a laugh but nothing serious. I knew there was more to him and I was right he’s a young man with hidden depths.
Their story is tender and thoughtful, loving and passionate. However love isn’t easy and their story is full of pain and heartache. Two people so right for each other but with everything against them do they really have a chance.
With each book we get to see everyone but next it’s Summer and Nick and I can’t wait to find out what’s going on with them.

Kiera did not think she fit into her new life because of where she came from and what she has been through. Trey, the school jock who wants Kiera but does not know how to keep her. He breaks her heart and now realizes that he needs her. Can he win her back without her brother killing her. Very emotional and full of drama.
Heartstrings are Pulled, Broken & Mended In This Wicked Romance!!A fabulous 4.5 star read
Keira is Kyle Stone’s long lost unknown half sister. She’s had a tough life. Their Mum is an addict & once keira’s Dad died & Gentry Stone refused to let her see Kyle, her Mum fell back off of the wagon after trying to kill herself!! This has always left Keira with an ingrained sense that she wasn’t enough – she wasn’t enough for her Mum to want to live for
Trey has always been the good time boy. Good for a laugh, quick to jump into bed with any willing pretty girl & he’s certainly not focused greatly on his studies! At Maverick’s leaving party for College he meets Keira. He’s struck by her smart mouth, her beauty is unquestionable but her style is uniquely her own & makes her stand out even more from the Barbie clones! He’s instantly attracted to her until Kyle introduces her as his baby sister & that she’s only 15 years old!!
The next time they meet she’s 16, their chemistry is obvious but so is how much trouble they’d both be in it they acted on it. They meet on & off when he’s home from college, they’ve kissed but now agree to just be friends. They text a lot. Then he he says they need to talk …..
More heartbreak, more not feeling like she’s enough!! What she doesn’t know is how messed up Trey is over her & how it’s affected his life! They both eventually move on with other people
This book is brimming with heartbreak for both Keira & Trey. Their timing is just never right no matter how much they love each other. When they both realise they were maybe never meant have their own happily ever after it broke my heart!! Weirdly this couple actually spend hardly any time together but because of their ‘friendship’ time & all of thoughts we’re privy to, it isn’t really noticed, it’s very cleverly written!!
The only reason this didn’t get the full 5 stars from me is because of her neighbour. His character obviously did something that caused her great pain & for her old school to turn against her but what?? I know what happened the night before but what did he do?? After all of his skulking around it just didn’t feel resolved to me, he didn’t seem the type to back off so easily!!
I loved this couple, their journey and their choices!! A definite must read whether you’re a Wicked Bay fan or not but he warned, you will be by the time you finish this book – they’re addicting!! A fabulous 4.5 star read

I just love Kiera and Trey! Yeah they had their ups and downs. More downs than ups it seemed. But they also had their love for each other! These two have been in love for years. But Kiera’s age and Trey’s hang-ups have made it difficult for them to take it any further than a friendly relationship. They each fall into a “safe” relationship with other people. I liked Jack (but not for Kiera) and his laid back ways. I didn’t like Callie at all. This book was a bit slow for me up until Trey stated his true intentions toward Kiera. Like I said. I loved these two and I loved getting their story. I love this series and can’t wait for the next one to come out! *I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.*
There is a reason this series is one of my favourites and that’s because we are now 6 books in and each book is just as amazing as the next book and this one was no different.
As these characters had been read about in some of the previous books I was looking forward to this story to see how these two connected and how their story transpired.
This book was one of my favs of the series and I loved how this story was told we were in the present and in the past and it really brought this story together and really how much their connection came off the pages and you could understand why they were drawn to each other.
Keira was certainly different to all the there characters in this series, she had a hard life with her mum being an addict and kind of being cast to the side so when she found out she had a half brother she was thrown into the Wicked Bay world and she struggled with it all. Even up to this book she felt that she didn’t fit in or was never enough to be special to someone, I really loved her character and her and Treys story.
Trey was one lost boy and he he just wanted to try and make his parents proud and be the person everyone was expecting him to be but in the end he made mistake after mistake and he had just hot rock bottom and didn’t know what to do to get himself out without hurting his friends and admitting his feelings for Keira.
If you are a fan of the series there is no way you would be disappointed and if you haven’t started this series shame on you, you need to read this now.
Again as I say in every review for this series I love how much we get s much of the other characters and especially Kyle he makes me laugh.
This book had the angst, teenage drama, cross of YA/NA and just everything you could want from a book, tears, laughs and an awesome story.
Big 5 Stars for this book
