I loved him. He betrayed me.
He tried to ruin my chance of happiness, but I’m not going down so easily.
There are questions I need answered. Secrets that need to be brought into the light. And a king who needs to be taken off his throne.
I’m still the object of his obsession, but I can work around that.
They say all’s fair in love and war. But if Caleb Asher taught me anything, it’s that this … taught me anything, it’s that this is definitely not love.
What do you think, Caleb? Are you ready for one last game?
This is a dark high school bully romance with mature content and themes. It contains dubious situations that some readers may find offensive. If you’re looking for a white knight hero, this book is not for you.
Wicked Games is book two of the Fallen Royals Series. It is part of a trilogy and NOT a standalone.

This books was fab! The suspense and mystery will captivate you. Margo and Caleb’s past enthrals you. This is a must read series that will have you hooked from the opening pages and have gripping your kindle to find out what happens next!
I devoured this book in one sitting until the wee hours of the morning. The story keeps getting better and better. The twist and turns kept me turning the pages. The end…..oh that end.
Book 2 we are getting glimpses of Calebs and Margo’s childhood as well as seeing their respective parents. We are left with more questions than answers as Margo continues to try to unravel her memory. We also get to see some pretty heavy stuff that Caleb is enduring. This story has layers upon layers and I am so enjoying the journey.
Okay, the ending of Wicked Dreams was bad enough but this ending is going to be torture!! I need Wicked Promises now!!
With that being said, Wicked Games was freaking awesome! S. Massery created a wicked web of secrets and lies that I’m dying to know the answers to.
And I absolutely loved seeing the evolution of the characters, especially Margo. No longer the sheep, she’s become the wolf with a backbone of steel.
I have just one question, is it August yet?
Oh. Em. Gee…. This book is SO good! I thought that Wicked Dreams was crazy, but you know NOTHING! Book 2 in the Fallen Royals (and yes this is NOT a standalone– definitely need the first book to understand what is going on) picks up right where the first book ended and keeps the non stop thrill ride going.
Not only is this book entertaining, but you can feel the push and pull from the characters in each conversation and situation that occurs, and it is one bumpy ride. We learn more and more jaw dropping secrets and even more questions get lined up. I am beyond happy with this series and cannot wait until the next installment, 4.5 outta 5 stars for sure from me!
PS: A huge thank you to the author for allowing me an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly!
I FREAKIN LOVED THIS BOOK!!!
Wicked Games picked up right where Wicked Dreams left off; I have so many more theories than I had in the previous book and I am just so excited and my brain can’t shut off thinking of the possibilities running through my mind.
One theory I am 100% sure it is what I’m thinking, but, I won’t tell you because this torture you must read on your won and come with your own thoughts.
I can’t wait for Wicked Promises and feast on all the questions that are still lingering and finally put to rest all my theories and see if any are to what’s running through my head like a nonstop reel.
Holy frickin’ crap !! That’s all I could say !! When the book ended…. holy frickin’ crap !! After the first book, I was excited for this book and could not wait to jump in !! Wicked Games did not disappoint !! There is not a dull moment in this book !! Absolutely love it !! It has given me the worst book hangover !! Make sure you have time when you start this, because you will not be able to put it down !! Fantastic !!
This is the 2nd novel in this trilogy, and Caleb and Margo’s journey continues. No spoilers: this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed. This is a well written dark high school bully romance story, which has mystery, twists, suspense, mind games, and is a steamy read. This is one of those stories which I just had to be devoured in one sitting. I cannot wait for the 3rd novel, and I highly recommend this gifted authors’ work for all.
Welcome to the games…. Wicked Games that is. Wicked Games by S. Massery is the second book in the Fallen Royals trilogy. This is not a stand-alone book and Wicked Dreams must be read first. The mind games that are played are over the top and you will be wondering what district these royal elite fall in. Massery does a great job telling this twisted, steamy and mysterious story. Wicked Promises is the next and the last book in the trilogy and I have no doubt it will be just as good if not better as we finally get some long-awaited answers. 5-stars for Wicked Games by S. Massery.
Caleb Asher has been planning to destroy Margo Wolfe since they were ten years old and she told a secret that wasn’t hers to tell. When both Caleb and Margo’s families are destroyed, Caleb blames Margo and so does his family. Caleb sets up a game for him and Margo to play but only one of them will make it out unscathed, a little does Caleb know but there seems to be some new players in the game, and they are for blood.
Omg! All i can say is that this book ends on a cliffhanger! But omg is this book amazing! The intricate level of detail in the characters…the hot passion….the web of secrets and lies! Get this book!
The games they play threaten destruction to them both.
He’s hellbent on revenge, and she’s determined to destroy him.
Will he ever let her go, does she want him to?
The sign of an amazing book, lies in the moment where you are forced to put it down. Does it matter or are you ready to rip someone’s head off for drawing you back to reality..
My answer for this book is the latter.
I lost myself completely in his hatred and mind games. He’s the devil in disguise hidden in an alluring and attractive body and he had me glued to his every move!
Margo came into herself in this book. It was like she woke up one day and suddenly knew how to stand up for herself. Amazing! I applaud her growing a backbone, she’s a better character for it!
They pull and they push, they dance and they jive always aware of the other. They are infact almost too good to be true.
I dont think I could ever get bored of their shenanigans!
S.Massery had me on the edge of my seat, and my heart in my mouth on many an occasion, and now it’s all over I’m left wondering and waiting, desperate for more.
Let the Games Begin!!! Caleb and Margos relationship goes back to when they were kids and there is so many feelings fixed between them two but the steamy heat between the two always wins. I couldn’t put this book down, I love the characters and the story line is so intense with lots of steamy hot scenes leaving you wanting more. As much as I love these characters I never know who to trust and the big question is What happened and who is involved? And now we anxiously wait for book three.
Once again S. Massery has managed to blow my mind. This is without a doubt, beyond a 5 star book.
I have read and read this story, and to be honest it hard to find words. There is so much depth and detail that you get entirely wrapped up in the storyline and characters.
Margo and Caleb’s relationship is seriously intense! The love hate, push pull, consumes you and before you know it the story is finished. And let’s not forget the huge, and I mean huge cliffhanger! Wow!!
Very well written, absolutely addictive story!
DAMN! That was intense!
OMG! So many feels with book two. My head was spinning with all of the nasty games the characters play on each other. The story is finally starting to unfold and secrets are starting to be revealed. But not fast enough! This is one hell of a rollercoaster ride of suspense, intrigue, backstabbing, love and hate. Buckle up and hang on because this story is not finished yet!
Just know that I have never felt more like smashing my kindle as I do when reading this series! And that ending WTF! It left me completely shell shocked! I had to pick my jaw up off the floor!
Phenomenal writing and storytelling! I literally could not put this one down! I now have a love/hate relationship with Caleb and I know his story will come to light in the next book. I can’t wait to read how this story turns out.
Wicked Games brings us back into the lives of Caleb and Margo and drops us right into the middle of their sometimes romantic and always chaotic relationship. This is a not a normal relationship, there are secrets being kept, lies being told, and a steady stream of mistrust revolving between these two. Caleb knows things about their past that Margo can’t seem to remember due to her mind blocking it out. But little does Caleb know the dreams she has been having are starting to help her piece things together… things that could put an end to their relationship and possibly endanger their lives.
The angst is high in this story, Margo wants to believe and trust in what Caleb is telling her, but he has lied to her before and so there is this constant fear linger in the back of her mind that she is being played again. So it is a constant game of cat and mouse, one minute they are together and happy, the next moment Margo is doing all she can to avoid him, all the while Caleb is stalking her every move! I can only imagine that things are about to get even more intense with these two, after that shocking cliffhanger I cannot wait to see where their story leads me next! Highly recommend this one, it’s suspenseful and gut-wrenching words are destined to take you places you never saw coming, and torture your heart at every turn!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.
MARGO!
The poor girl needs a break. Every time! And then you just! Ahhhhhh.
Ok. This one picks up where Wicked Dreams left us.
Right off the bat, I like Caleb more in this one. He shows us more facets to his character, and I gotta say, he keeps getting better and better.
And Margo. Way to not lay down and take it. I love that she continues to push when it’s necessary, but is also learning how to be softer as things change.
I still have so many questions!and only a few answers, but the picture is getting much clearer……
I wonder what else is coming our way.
Oh my goodness gracious! Wicked Games is just as amazingly insane and epically good as Wicked Dreams was. I seriously could not put this book down. I basically devoured this book in one day, but you know, adulting got in the way. Wicked Games picks up right where Wicked Dreams left off (everyone remember that damn cliffhanger?!) and we start to get the answers we have been so desperately waiting for. This book does not disappoint at all. Not even a little. Prepare yourself to be drawn back into the madness of Emery-Rose Elite along with your favorite bad boys. Advanced warning though, be prepared for this book to end on another epically awesome cliffhanger that will leave you reeling and wanting more.
Let’s start with the boy we all love to hate. When Wicked Dreams ended, I hated Caleb so much. I could not believe he would do what he did to Margo ( I won’t spoil it for anyone who hasn’t read Wicked Dreams yet. Go read it people!). I was so incredibly angry with him and wanted to throat punch him. In the beginning of Wicked Games, I still hated him and wanted to throat punch him most of the time. However, as the story progressed, I found myself hating him less and less until finally, I fell in love with his character. S. Massery did such an amazing job with his character development. I mean, he’s still an asshole 99% of the time but that other 1% is truly something. He stops fighting against his attraction and feelings for Margo. He finally allows himself to feel what he feels for her and honestly, that made me like him. He admits that he doesn’t want to destroy her life because it would cause her pain and her pain is his pain. He’s still pretty wicked and twisted, but he actually starts to behave more like a human being in this book and I loved every second of it. I can’t wait to see what his character is like in the third book.
Margo’s character in this book is amazing. Again, S. Massery did a fantastic job on character development in this story. Margo was a little weaker and more easily manipulated in the first book. She was often called “sheep” by Caleb and his friends, but let me tell you, she is no longer a “sheep” in Wicked Games. This girl developed a backbone and it was amazing to read. I am so proud of her for standing up for herself to other people, including Caleb, and no longer taking their shit. Caleb does still have some pull on her, but not nearly as much as he did in Wicked Dreams. She is more than capable of standing up for herself and telling people to shove it. She’s made such progress since the first book. There are times when she’s still really sad, feels like she doesn’t deserve actual happiness, and confused about her feelings for Caleb. Even with all of those feelings going on, she’s still a badass. Margo is my favorite character in this trilogy.
Margo and Caleb together was seriously something crazy to watch unfold. I loved every damn second of it though. I could not put the book down because I had to see what crazy thing Margo and Caleb were going to do or say next. In Wicked Games, we also get to see a side to Caleb that we’ve never seen before, that Margo has never seen before. He started to treat her like an actual human being in this book. She is not an object or a person meant to be destroyed. Caleb is totally in love with Margo even if he doesn’t want to admit it (I mean why else would you no longer want to ruin her life?!). These two are fascinating together. They both need one another in ways they don’t even understand. These two have so much chemistry with one another. The physical relationship between them is HOT! Ahem, football game. I will not say anymore than that. It was intense to read at times. Their physical chemistry is insane, but I can’t wait to see them connect on a more emotional level as well. Things are going to be interesting in the third book.
Overall, I rate this book a 5/5! Wicked Games is a little dark, a little twisted, a little wicked, with a whole lot of suspense, intrigue, and mystery. This book had a little bit of everything. You have intense romance, the mystery of the Wolfe and Asher families, Margo’s blocked memories, and the normal drama of high school. There is so much to like about this book and you will not want to put it down. And the ending my friends! The ending is intense and will leave you on the edge of your seat wanting to know what happens next. I cannot wait to see where S. Massery will take us in the conclusion to this wicked tale.
