The book description pulled me in. The characters were likable enough. Some of the situations were far fetched. The story is written in 3rd person style, which I do not enjoy.
Good novel. Just wish a little less sex and a little more development of side characters.
Enjoyed the characters.
Wonderful reading and awesome story.
Overall a good and enjoyable read.
Great read, I highly recommend this book
Great read. Suspenseful. Loved the characters
I think this book is very entertaining. Its a good read.
Others in the series have better story development and plot.
This was a fast read. Sometimes the main character, Brianna, made some stupid decisions, but it was entertaining. I will read other books by this author.
Good read!! The storyline was excellent. This wasn’t the first book I read in the Steele series and it will not be the last. I really enjoyed it
This was a page-turner….couldn’t put it down!
Such a sweet, romantic love story!
Too long

Review:
I was expecting a hot and suspenseful military story. I was expecting a smart and witty reporter that hold her own among al these delta force men. But thats not what we got. Atleast not in my opinion.
Our H is a member of a delta force, black up Unit. He is a alpha man that can take care of himself. h is a reporter that got the chance to fly out to wherever H was and write a story about him and his team. They immediately hit it off. Things went quite fast between the two of them. It went too fast and I didn’t feel the chemistry between them.
h was almost childlike at times in her thinking and was so naive. When she is send back home, she didn’t get the chance to say goodbye to H. After sometime H gets back home and he looks her up. She moved to the city he’s from and hopes to see him again. They find each other and they get together and move in together rather quickly after that. h is working on a story and she finds out some pretty dangerous things. She pulls away from H in an effort to protect him and prove that she can do things on her own. Things hit the fan and gets out of hand. She has to enter WITSEC and H thinks she is dead. As does the rest of her family.
When her story catches up with her, she comes back from the dead and breaks into H house. He finds out and is mad at her for leaving him and for lying. For not trusting him, because for sure a men that ran black ops doesn’t know how to take care of himself…..
h wasn’t the smartest cookie in the bunch.
The story didn’t flow well, it felt off and it just didn’t work for me. The writing style didn’t work for me. It was very mono tone and very descriptive and repetitive.
The concept was good but the execution needs allot of work. I found myself skipping a lot, just to get through the story.
Rating:
2 It wasn’t that good stars
A whole lot of story in this book, not always a nice settled flow as it does get slightly interuppted going back to the past before jumping to the current time again but once you get used to that it’s ok. It is very suspenseful and it has a few twists, quite a bit of tension and some violence. I found it gripping and a page turner through most of the story, the characters were easy to love and in parts had my heart breaking for them. I am actually reading the box set but also reviewing the individual books as I go. There is a very slight cliff hanger at the end to lead into book two but not enough to put anyone off reading as a stand alone if that’s what they want, obviously I’m going straight into the next book as I love getting stuck into a series. Loved it
This book captured my attention from the beginning. There were great moments of fast paced, hard-hitting, edge of your seat action and tender romance along with heartwrenching emtional moments that brought me to tears. All the Steele Security players are introduced and are a very interesting mix of personalities. Brianna and Noah? Whew, they are incredible together. Both of them are strong, resilient, intelligent and extremely likeable. I can’t wait to read the entire series.
This book wasn’t bad it was just hard to follow. It skipped from the present to the past. In saying that, it was that brought the rating down. If you like a story like that I encourage you to get this one. The characters were great. I will say give this one a chance. There is a HEA ending!!!
