Never in your wildest dreams could you begin to imagine all the filthy and depraved things that go on inside The Wicked Horse. Step inside and Woolf Jennings will make every one of your dirty fantasies come true. He’s covered in a facade of deception. An enticing blend of multi-millionaire and hot-as-hell Wyoming rancher, those that think they know Woolf Jennings admire his abilities to preside as … preside as CEO of his family’s cattle and oil empire. But only a privileged few truly understand what fuels the glitter of depravity in those gorgeous blue eyes. Only a few know he’s opened up a sinfully erotic and private sex club named The Wicked Horse right at the base of the beautiful Teton Mountain range.
Sweet Callie Hayes has returned home to Wyoming and is looking forward to starting her life over again. After a night of impetuosity, she’s managed to put herself right in Woolf’s line of sight… the man who she foolishly offered up her virginity to years ago and was flatly turned down.
Now Woolf is seeing that Callie is all grown up and has a kinky side to her that leaves him as confused as it does turned on. Worse yet, both Callie’s dirty desires and sweet heart are getting under his skin, and making Woolf question everything he’s ever believed about himself.
**Warning: this book has sex in it. Lots of sex. Dirty sex. The Wicked Horse Series is a bit different than what Sawyer Bennett normally writes. While you’ll still enjoy fabulous characters, a suspenseful story, some witty banter and an epic romance, there’s just… a lot of sex. You’ve been warned.

This may well be the sexiest book I’ve read this year. I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of it before but as soon as I read the blurb that detailed the hero, Woolf, was a cattle rancher/oil baron/sex club owner, I was all in. I mean, who doesn’t love a rich country boy with a side of kink? I know I do. The “warning” on this book says it all. Fabulous characters, a suspenseful story, some witty banter and an epic romance all combined with lots and lots of dirty sex. I can’t wait to visit the Wicked Horse again to see what shenanigans the others are getting up to while Woolf and Callie enjoy their little HEA.
Loads of steam in this one, served up with western charm and hot country boys. Woolf was absolutely swoony, and I loved Callie’s take-no-crap attitude and her drive to get what she wanted. I can’t wait to visit the Wicked Horse again!
I love the Wicked Horse series! One of my go-to re-reads!
Hot and steamy.
Interesting characters trying to figure out love.
A hot, sexy romance that will make you want to visit The Wicked Horse and go to the Silos to see what is happening (and maybe even join in – with or without your significant other if you have one)!
5 GIANT neon-blue, spur-shaped stars for “Wicked Fall.” Sawyer Bennett has once again managed to take the fundamental elements of any erotic romance novel and turn them into fresh, page-turning, anything-but-predictable perfections with such a subtle brilliance, it’s simply impossible to stop reading!
“Wicked Fall” is the fix for some of your dirtiest, naughtiest fantasies – even the ones you didn’t realize you had – all in one book. The heat level is pantie-melting from beginning to end! What I liked most about the characters was that they stay true to themselves in a realistic, believable way, whether in thought or in dialogue. They admit their faults, even if just to themselves, and as I mentioned in my review for “Uncivilized,” I love how the main protagonists always come across as a team, even during their hardships. I was delighted with the tiny details of realism you don’t always get in fiction romance – like the fact that sleeping in someone’s arms all night gives you a kink in your neck, or that some sexual positions cause charlie horse cramps! Those little tidbits make it such a thrill to read, and gives you a good chuckle along the way. I mean, you know you’re reading a good book, when you find yourself thinking: “Ugh! I hate it when that happens!”
Woolf Jennings can’t imagine living anywhere other than at the base of the majestic Teton Mountains in Wyoming, nor doing anything other than working on his family’s ranch, the Double J; that didn’t mean he wanted to run the whole JennCo corporation, the sole CEO to a time-sucking machine that has its tentacles in everything from cattle, to oil, to politics, stretched over three states and growing. He has his own passions outside of ranching, and that comes to fruition when he and his long-time friend, Bridger, open the ‘Wicked Horse’ nightclub (and everything it’s deliberately hiding). Finally, life is good and Woolf can’t imagine being happier or more satisfied… until a blast from his past jumps up on the bar to partake in wet t-shirt contest, and shows him exactly what he’s still sorely missing.
Callie Hayes is done being the good, polite and proper Governor’s daughter. After catching her fiance in a very risqué act of infidelity, she’s fled home to Wyoming, determined to rebuild herself into a more exciting, adventurous, non-dull version. The last thing she expects is for her first love to storm across the bar and haul her caveman style off the stage when she’s just getting started. Woolf Jennings has always been her biggest weakness, but he broke her heart years ago and is hell-bent on treating her like she’s still a naive, innocent girl. If she wants him to see her as the woman she’s become, Callie’s going to have to step up her game and expand her bravery horizons fast.
Who would’ve thought the perfect solution would come not in the ‘Wicked Horse,’ but in Woolf’s true pride and joy, ‘The Silo?’ An exclusive club that requires expensive membership fees and non-disclosure agreements to enter – and has Callie’s curiosity taking a sharp right into the darker, more lecherous sides of personal reinvention.
Loved this book!!
When Woolf is horny he is a take no prisoners kind of man, “I’m going to eff you, Callie. You’re so wet and ready right now, and I know you need it. God help me… I effing need it too.” Woolf he knows how to grovel and apologise, “I’m sorry I didn’t call you,” I tell her. “I’m sorry I stayed away from you. Okay?” She nods against the hold I have on her. “We’ll talk about Will and us later, okay?” She nods again. “I’m going to make you come now with my face between your legs, okay?” Woolf can get jealous, “are you defending him?” Woolf asks me with incredulity. “With my ***k still deep inside of you and my cum leaking out, are you defending that a**hole?” This is going to be a great series I loved the characters.
Wicked Fall is my very first Sawyer Bennett novel and I am extremely happy I gave this book a chance! After reading the synopsis, I was attracted to this story for many reasons. One being, I’m personally married to a farmer and we raise cattle (not near as many as the main male character Wolff Jennings, but my hubby wouldn’t object to living in Wyoming on a ranch). Secondly, I’m also a sucker for “Second Chance Romance”. I put quotes on that because technically they didn’t ever have a relationship that went beyond that one night when Callie offered up her virginity and Wolff refused to take it. Callie was Wolff’s best friends little sister and that is a “no go” area, but that didn’t stop them from fantasizing about each other over the years.
Fantasies come true: I would say this book plays on all those hidden fantasies that everyone has, but no one wants to act on. Well, with this book you can read about them *wink*. With Wicked Fall, we are brought into a kinkier world where the elite and rich play and anything is possible. People can live out their dirtiest fantasies within the safety of a security protected building with like people and like desires. Some of the fantasies will push the envelope with some readers, but there’s nothing too extreme. I would not classify this as BDSM (Wolff isn’t really into that, he does like spanking though *wink*).
In a sense, Callie is coming into her s*xuality in Wicked Fall. She is not a virgin anymore, but she definitely doesn’t know what turns her on…she never entertained the thought of some of the fantasies that go on at Wolff’s s*x club “The Silo”. She definitely didn’t entertain how much she would enjoy it. Thanks to Wolff, she is able to indulge in her inner fantasies, with his guidance of course.
I was completely absorbed in this book from page 1!!! SERIOUSLY…page 1! The plot, the characters, the character development, the steam factor, the writing style all of it…phenomenal! Reading the dual POV helped immensely! I am becoming a sucker for male POV and if an author can nail a man’s POV, they are instantly a fav of mine! I LOVED getting into Wolff’s head. He wasn’t as complex a character as he believed himself to be. I think deep down he knew what he wanted, he just needed the right someone (*ahem* Callie) to come along and give him a little push in the right direction. Callie’s POV was great! She knew what she wanted and she went for it. I loved that she could hold her own and was willing to test out the “new Callie” and figure out who she truly is.
Secondary Characters: Can I say THANK GAWD THERE IS A BOOK ABOUT BRIDGER! He is Wolff’s best friend and co-owner of “The Wicked Horse(the night club) and The Silo”(the s*x club). I am VERY intrigued by his back story and I, for one, CAN NOT wait for his book! I can’t wait to read about the woman that breaks through his thick armor! Then there is Cain…OMG THAT EPILOGUE!!! 2 words *ROLE PLAY* Sawyer Bennett you are such a tease! I definitely need his story, like yesterday! *patiently (not so patiently) waiting*

Overall- 5 Stars
This story did not go in the direction I expected it to go. Woolf and Bridger opened the Wild Horse, and Silo. Woolf was not into BDSM, and it seemed to me that the “kinky” sex was something that kept him from being bored. Although it was “said” many times, I NEVER got the sense that the club was his passion.
Woolf and Bridger’s relationship was eventually explained. That made his desire to build the Silo much more understandable. When things went south, I was shocked that neither Woolf nor Bridger went after their own form of justice. I was also disappointed. This book left me with a number of unanswered questions.
There were a ton of steamy scenes, but this book felt off to me for some reason. As you can see, I have yet to mention Callie. I didn’t think she added much to the story. I know it was about her relationship with Woolf and how he sort found himself because of his feelings for her. Woolf seemed to have an obsession with her. She cost him something supposedly important, but it didn’t seem like it was all that important to him as far as I could tell. I also really was not feeling that their relationship was so strong he had to make the move he made.
I also felt like Woolf took all of the heat for something that happened between consenting adults. Callie took no responsibility until Woolf gave her what she wanted.
There was no epilogue regarding Woolf and Callie. Just a segue into Cain’s story. I thought it would be Bridger’s. I think that is the only other one I would be interested in reading.
The book was recommended in a Facebook group I belong to so thought I’d give it a read.
I’ve never read this author before, but wow, this book was amazing!
It had a bit of everything. Insane chemistry, hot hot sex scenes, a great storyline, fantastic characters and above all it kept my attention from start to finish.
Cassie and Woolf are such good characters, their chemistry and interactions were off the chart. And the scene with Bridger was so hot!
Although this book has a lot of sex and kink and set around a sex club, there was a storyline which had me wanting to keep turning the pages. And then I got to the epilogue! Again, just wow!
I thoroughly recommend this book and look forward to reading more from this author.
Somewhat predictable, but a nice way to pass time.
I don’t read porn for either its plot or its character development. This novel has plenty of steamy sex, but the characters don’t ring true. They’re wonderful and romantic and completely unbelievable. The sex on the other hand, is excellent, but I’d have to categorize it as aspirational. It’s mostly swinger sex with just teases of BDSM.
Minor spoilers alert!!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would totally recommend this audiobook to a friend who likes a little bit of kink in their romantic tales. Sawyer Bennett’s writing was so on point for a normally non-taboo fan like me, and Kirsten Leigh and Lee Samuels made a great narrating duo.
What other book might you compare Wicked Fall to and why?
Well, Uncivilized by Sawyer Bennett immediately comes to mind because that story had a unique premise as well, and the audiobook was narrated by this same narrating duo.
What about Kirsten Leigh and Lee Samuels ’s performance did you like?
Kirsten gave an outstanding performance. I loved everything about it! I liked that Lee gave the male voices slightly different timbres, but honestly it took me a little bit of time to warm up to the rhythm he chose. Ultimately though, I was won over by it and enjoyed Lee’s overall narrating style.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Welcome to the Wicked Horse Club where kink is king.
Any additional comments?
I honestly didn’t know if I’d enjoy the more taboo elements of this story, but Woolf’s perspective on fulfilling sexual fantasies was truly enlightening. I could understand how under the circumstances presented in this novel, giving in to every kinky fantasy could work and not harm anyone involved. I also really liked the combination of the friends-to-lovers romantic element mixed in with the taboo of the sex club antics. I enjoyed this story so much that I not only started book 2, Wicked Lust (Cain’s story) immediately yesterday, but today I also did a reread of Wicked Fall via e-book in order to highlight numerous favorite, jaw-dropping, sexy, funny or down-right sweet moments that characterized Callie and Woolf’s story. It’s a new favorite.
Overall: 5 stars / Kirsten Leigh’s Performance: 5 most excellent stars / Lee Samuels’s Performance: 4 stars / Story: 5 very pleasantly surprising stars
I got sucked into this story from the first page. Sawyer Bennet created this fascinating world where the characters explored their limits.
In this kind of stories characters often are a little superficial, but not in this book.
The characters are well developed, and even the characters of future books start their story in this book.
Woolf was everything. I loved him from the first page.
Callie was a fantastic heroine. She didn’t back down and went for what she wanted.
The chemistry between Callie and Woolf was amazing. The sex scènes were so hot, they would be able to burn down a village.
I enjoyed reading the sex club scènes and how Woolf and Callie reacted to what was happening there.
The author took a different way than most kinky stories by showing there is more to kink than just pleasure. She showed the emotions behind the pleasure.
I also loved Bridger, I can’t wait to read his story. He is a real friend to Woolf and did everything to make sure his friend got his HEA.
Wicked Fall is a light, entertaining read filled with kinky sex and sweet romance.
Horrible
I have read one other book by this author and although it was steamy this one puts it to shame. If u r into down and dirty this one is for you. The story is basically the same format as the last one I read. He was her deceased brothers best friend and she always loved him. She is the Governors daughter and is caught by him at a bar he owns in addition to a large ranch. He added a sex club to the bar. That’s it…pretty much sex and experimentation. Author tries to tie it up at the end but it feels false
I never stop blushing but I continue to turn the pages.
Captivating and steamy- great read!
