As a kid, she crushed my dreams to dust. She tore both of our families apart with one confession, ending any chance of happiness for either of us and setting off a ripple effect of chaos. Now she’s back as the new girl in school, and she doesn’t suspect the war that’s coming. She doesn’t realize the anger I’ve been harboring.I’ve been waiting for the perfect time to ruin her life, and it’s finally … her life, and it’s finally here.
Because even traitors sleep—and I’m going to make sure she only dreams of me.
Then I’m going to destroy her.
This is a dark high school bully romance with mature content and themes. It contains dubious situations that some readers may find offensive. If you’re looking for a white knight hero, this book is not for you.

Wicked Dreams has a wicked cliffy y’all. It was my first book my S. Massery and definitely wont be my last. That ending was explosive and left me craving for more. I have to know what happens next between Margo and Caleb.
The author has a way to pull you in and keep you there to the very last page. I love a good bully romance so after reading the blurb I had to check this one out. It did not disappoint. The narrators were great. They really brought these characters to life. Such a delightful listen.
Wicked Dreams: A Dark High School Bully Romance
Fallen Royals, Book 1
By: S. Massery
Narrated by: Stephanie Rose, Troy Duran
High school bully romance is one of my favorite sub-genres. I find the characters have so many layers to them, and the reasons for their fixations and behavior intrigue me. This is my first listen by S Massery, and she pushed all of the buttons! Margo is coming back to her old town, and going to back to school with people she knew. The one she was most hesitant to see is Caleb. Her friend when she was 10, now has a master plan to seek revenge. We get to see how it all begins to unfold in this first book of the series. I love Margo. I think she has many insecurities, but has not lost sight of herself. I anticipate a strong, confident girl to come out and can’t wait to see her. Caleb is the one I love to hate. He at times began to wear me down, but he is just a really difficult personality and I am on the edge of my seat waiting to see what he will do next. And the stalker…who is it? Wonderful foster parents so far, new friends, old enemies, this book is off to an amazing start and the cliffhanger has me waiting with baited breath to see what is going to happen.
Stephanie Rose and Troy Duran perform this story with finesse. The characters are deep, and these two voice actors find the right emotions to emulate the scenes. They are amazing and enhance the story with their performance.

Just by the synopsis I already knew i would love this book. Wicked dreams is exactly my type of book, I am a big consumer of high school bully romance and the whole premise of this book interested me a lot and fortunately I was not disappointed.
Margo interested me from the beginning, she is a character with so many layers and she has gone through so much that it is difficult not to get attached to her. She may look and act like a scared little girl but I know that she is so much more than that, I can’t wait to see her gain confidence.
And about Caleb, oh god I’m in a mixture of feelings since his first speech. He and Margo have so much baggage and so much between them. Like Margo, Caleb has his demons to contend with and I’m excited to see how he goes from here on out.
the plot twist OMG I really went crazy, I really didn’t see any of it coming and it was such a shock. This book is so good, I’m excited for the next.

First of all Sara thank you for including me in your arc team it’s an honor .

This book is one of a trilogy so the ending is an cliffhanger…
The main characters are Margo and Caleb, and they have an complicated past..
Margo was taken in foster care after something happened and that something had an lot of consequences for people who loved her and were living with her…
I loved the fact that Sara gave an sight on bullying and foster care and that even with struggles you can come out of it stronger.
Margo returns to her home town to an new foster family and meets Caleb her best friend and childhood love again…
But he is not having it, he is the king of the school and has so many old emotional scars, anger and frustration against Margo, that he can’t help himself to bully her…
But love is complicated and goes where it wants and is unstoppable.
Of course There is struggle, fighting classmates, bullying on a sometimes high level that is shocking, there is some hot smutty scenes.
I read this book in 3 hours because I was hooked and curious how Margo was gonna evolve as a character..
Some will think she is weak but I know how it’s like to come where she is and to go forward it’s an struggle and Sara captured that very well, so if you read the book imagine you have nothing, you don’t remember all anymore, and you have been dragged from one foster to the other, and been bullied till you have nothing left to really care for and still try to keep going…
That’s where she is…
The ending was just
Because a long the way I had an love – hate relationship with Caleb and some of the friends of their school …
But that bombshell in the last chapter made me grumble out of frustration that’s how stuck I got in this book I really really needed the second book …

.
I really can recommend this book

I love Bully romances. They are like catnip to me and this one is yet another to add to my shelf.
It hooked me from chapter one and I wanted so badly to know the history between Caleb and Margo. All the tropes this hits are major buzzwords for me. There’s so much I still want to know and I loved the audiobook. The narrators sucked me in and wouldn’t let me go. I was provided an audio copy of this to review. My review is unbiased.
12/04/2021: Reread on audiobook! <3
Disclaimer: I received an Advance Reader Copy at no cost from the publisher/author. All opinions in my review are my own.
This book was a total mindfuck. And I mean that in the best way. Like, what did I just read? It has been a while since I have felt so gripped by a book. I think that this book took a little piece of me.
The writing was fantastic. The author's writing voice was warm and inviting. The narration was smooth and welcoming. This book was so addicting. Once I sunk my teeth into this one I couldn't let go. The plot is kind of mind-blowing because of all the suspense in the story. At this point, I have no idea what was foreshadowing or what could have been red herrings. Everything is up in the air at this point. And with that shocking ending, I am chomping at the bits to read the second book.
These characters really jump out at you right away. I felt that Margo's character was very relatable and likable. She was a very vulnerable character. Caleb's character was a bit of a mystery throughout the book. You could never really tell what his intentions were. His character was very fascinating. The secondary characters were really intriguing but I really wished that we got more of their personalities. I really wanted to get to know them more thoroughly. It felt like we only got bits and pieces of them and the bits we got didn't feel substantial.
I don't even know what to think about the romance in this book. It starts out like your typical bully romance but turns into I don't even know what. Margo and Caleb were childhood best friends so you could feel their connection through the pages of the book. Even when Caleb was being terrible. Their chemistry was palpable. And when things heat up between them it gets hot.
Overall, this is a raw story that is full of secrets and intrigue. The suspense in this book is biting. It will leave you a mess. If you like shocking stories full of angst then I suggest picking this one up. This book is brilliant.

I was hooked from page one and couldn’t stop turning the pages!! This book was incredible from beginning to end. The twist and turns in this book will make your head spin. I mean there were times I wanted to tell Margo to stand up for herself and just tell Caleb where to stick it. I didn’t a 100% trust him even if he was treating Margo better then before. A guy like Caleb has secrets and a dark disturbing game to play. I mean he’s the King of the school and lacrosse season hasn’t started yet. It didn’t matter that him and Margo played together when they were kids, she did something awful to destroy that friendship. One night ruined lives.. She can’t remember but Caleb does..I liked Margo but man does she bullied in this book! She’s getting strange text messages, living in a new house with new fosters and going to her old school with kids who no longer like her. Should be a fun year right? This book will keep you hooked with every page until the very end!! The ending.. WTF? I should have saw it coming but didn’t.. I mean a bully being way to nice and caving to her every need..suspicious right? I loved this book and now can’t wait to read book 2!
What mind f*&%ery has befallen us? Wicked Dreams by S. Massery is a book of sheer emotions, drama and revenge. This may be in a high school setting by the games played by the characters are very adult. S. Massery has managed to write a suspenseful story that leaves off on a cliffhanger and will have you wanting to throw your kindle. Writing this review is difficult because of all the crazy things that take place and I don’t want to spoil anything, but let’s just say if you don’t read this book you will be missing out. Book 2 of the Fallen Royals is due out soon and I’m sure it will be just as amazing. 5+ stars for Wicked Dreams by S. Massery
Caleb Asher is the boy that Margo Wolfe has dreamed about since they were separated seven years earlier. Living in the foster system has done little for Margo or her self-esteem but she still tries to hold her head high. Caleb blames Margo for ruining his life and plans on making her pay. Once again, the rich have become evil and life will never be the same for Margo. Caleb has given Margo plenty of Wicked dreams but now the Wicked Games are afoot, and the winner will be the only one left standing.
Wow! The suspense and angst S. Massery penned it out of this world. You hate to love Caleb as Margo falls victim to him and his games. This book leaves you on the edge of your seat. I can’t wait for the next book to find out what happens. So many questions that I need answers to!! This ya bully romance will have you enthralled! Bring on book 2!!
I’ve enjoyed Sara’s other works and honestly, I’m not normally a huge fan of the HS bully theme, but this had an underlying mysterious element that I was completely vested in this story and can’t wait to see how it ends in book 2.
So, Margo is back in town with a new foster family and immediately Caleb is out for blood. He makes her life miserable but at the same time he can’t deny their connection. There are some dreams or nightmares that are haunting Margo, but we don’t know what has happened in her past to cause them. It seems Caleb knows more than he will explain, but he makes everything a tortured game so we really don’t know what he knows. She is also being threatened by anonymous texts who seem to know her every move. Just when you think Caleb and Margo are going to come together and Margo has broken through Caleb’s walls, the rug is completely ripped out from under her. OMG, that cliffie is a doozie!

Omg are u kidding?! You will love this book like no other!! And as you can see – it ends on a cliffhanger. Talk about an amazing book! The twisted love. The twists in the storyline!
This was a great bully romance. With an excellent storyline and interesting characters this story will pull you in and hold you hostage til the last page. Margo and Caleb’s story will take you on a wild ride and leave you with your mouth open. Loved this book and now I need book 2!
This author is totally new to me but she didn’t disappoint..This book is very gripping and I could hardly control myself after reading that end!Now I’m confused as to love the guy or hate him with a passion..It had so many emotional moments and I teared up each and every time..Seems like there’s more to this story and I have so many questions..0i cant wait till the next one is out..Definitely wicked this book is!
Wow! Speechless! The cliffhanger will blow you out of the water!
Caleb wants revenge for something Margo did. The mind-f*ck games he and the Golden boys play on Margo is horrible! As if she hasn’t already been dealt with a bad life throughout her childhood.
There is a love/hate relationship between Caleb and Margo. Should she trust him?
Wicked Dreams is a dark high school bully romance. Just when you think things are going smooth…BAM!! The author throws you a loop. Best high school bully romance I’ve read!
I have just finished reading this…I have no words, it was brilliant, bloody brilliant. I was hooked from page one, right until the very last word, then I got to the end and BOOM–shock, awe and ohh no she didn’t end it like that.
I NEED WICKED GAMES NOW….that ending was a killer, but gobsmackingly perfect
I loved to hate Caleb…and right now I kinda really hate him. Why Caleb, why? He seriously needs a junk punch.
And Margo, I just want to hug her…poor girl…I just love her to pieces
I love all the side characters, even the horrible bullies…they each bring something to the story and add to my never-ending list of questions that I NEED answers to.
This was my first S Massey read, it most certainly will not be the last…starting with Wicked Games when it releases
…and that, my friends, is how you end on a BANG!!
S. Massery. Guuurrrrrrl. You can write bully romance!!
The romance tragic and romantic and a freaking whirlwind. It’s no shock that bully romance is my catnip and this is right up there.
This is my first S. Massery read and it will not be my last!! Wicked Dreams is a dark highschool bully romance and is a complete pager turner.
I have so many unanswered questions, the mystery and suspense is off the charts.
I need more NOW!!!
No Spoilers
Devoured this in one sitting
Holy ch it!
How?
Why?
There are so many unknowns in this episode
Even I ,as guarded as I was …
I wasn’t ready for the twist
No way –
This is not your typical cliffhanger-
More like a tightrope walk in high winds over the grand canyon
Stomach twisted so tight you are nauseous kind of ending
I need the next in the series like yesterday
What a phenomenally written book! I read this in one sitting because I could not put it down.
The push and pull, the love and hate, the emotions and angst combined with the intense plot and multifaceted characters kept me on the edge of my seat. And that ending. All I’m going to say is that April better get here quickly.
This is the first book in the Fallen Royals series, and the story of Caleb, and Margot. This is also the first time i have read anything from this author, and I was not disappointed, this book was dark, and twisted, and had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end, I will definitely be looking for more book by this author is the future. Caleb, and Margo have a history, and when Margo comes back into his life, Caleb is out for revenge. Caleb, and his friends are the Kings of the school, and Margo is now the new girl, can Margo survive Caleb, and the bullies and torment. This was book was well written, and the characters are well developed, and had great chemistry. This book is a must read, it was intense, gripping, raw, emotional, dramatic, suspenseful, mysterious, dramatic, and a roller coaster of twists, and turns. I can wait for the next book.
