As a kid, she crushed my dreams to dust. She tore both of our families apart with one confession, ending any chance of happiness for either of us and setting off a ripple effect of chaos. Now she’s back as the new girl in school, and she doesn’t suspect the war that’s coming. She doesn’t realize the anger I’ve been harboring.I’ve been waiting for the perfect time to ruin her life, and it’s finally … her life, and it’s finally here.
Because even traitors sleep—and I’m going to make sure she only dreams of me.
Then I’m going to destroy her.
This is a dark high school bully romance with mature content and themes. It contains dubious situations that some readers may find offensive. If you’re looking for a white knight hero, this book is not for you.

This book was amazing!!! I love this author’s writing style and storytelling, and this one is way up there as one of my favorites!
Margo had been through so much in her short 17 years, and just when she thought Caleb was making everything better, she realizes he was just making her life harder. And that cliffhanger? Gah, I can’t wait to continue this amazing story! Highly recommended!
Margo & Caleb
Margo has grown up in the system for the last several years of her life. New foster parents bring her back to her hometown and to a school with those she grew up with. She has a unique strength to her and pushes through when needed. A lot of her past is hard for her to remember.
Caleb is the king of the school. His family is wealthy and well known and he gets away with anything and everything. He is a tease but also so demanding and commanding. He harbors hate for Margo and a lot of secrets from her as well.
Their connection is fierce and instant. They grew up practically in the same house (she lived in his families guest house). They can’t deny each other even when he wants nothing more than to punish her.
The dynamic between these two is electric. You want to know all that’s between them but only get bits and pieces at a time. The supporting characters are phenomenal as well and really add to the growth of Margo and Caleb. This does end on quite the cliffhanger leaving you wanting to instantly dive into the next book in the series for more.
This book was good in so many ways. First, it appealed to my darker side. Caleb is about as dark as they come. Margo comes back to her hometown and ends up back in her old school, where Caleb rules. She once loved him, he now hates her…and is willing to go above and beyond to show her his hatred.
I received this book in the Bully Me Book Crate.
Omg this book I just finished reading it & I can’t stop myself to express my feelings this book deserves so so much love and support I just loved it so much , everything about this book is so great from storyline to steaminess to suspense , thrill, secrets everything was perfect if u love a dark Romance this book is for you I don’t know why people not appreciate is as much as it deserves.
Margo Wolfe was such a beautiful, sweet and innocent character but also strong & independent I just love her so so much how much she cared about everything even Caleb when he keeps hurting her. she had this hope even when she doesn’t wanted to admit it to herself .Margo as a friend ,as a sibling, as a lover , as a daughter ,as a kid she was so good author defined her so perfectly. She is such a well defined character.
Caleb Asher was hot and cold through out the whole book I can’t just figure him out . what was his deal & that was the point of suspense ,his every move towards margo & in general was suspicious to me but u can say I m feelings a little different after reading the shocking Reveal in the end because before that I was all for Caleb how much he care about her even when he keeps saying that ‘Margo was just an mean to an end’. Caleb was bittersweet towards margo because of what their past holds, the secrets. He love to hate her or we can say hate to love her .
The secrets and suspense was also good . I m so curious and excited to read the second book like what happened with all of them that everything is chaos now. Margo was such a sweet kid ,I just loved her innocence towards her mom & dad , also Caleb as a kid how much they loved each other & that specific scene where Margo made bracelets for both of them it was so heart melting.
The chemistry between them throughout the book was incredible , steamy scenes ,soft scene everything was hot and sweet.
I love Margo & Caleb relationship with Robert & Lenora in the middle of the book I even got suspicious that second shoe is going to drop but nothing like that happens which is related to them making a villian ( which I m happy about). I love Margo relationship with Robert & Lenora how much they wanted to accept her as a daughter even when all three of them were hesitated about not to make the one other run away in other direction.
Riley,Liam,Theo and Eli I m so curious about them also very excited to read their books also their relationships with everyone was so good to watch.
Savannah Amelia & Ian plays very good at what they do and I also love Hannah & Claire Relationship with Margo .
This book for me was such a great read .it deserves all the love & Author s. Massery just reached my top favourite author list this book is so underrated I was so so disappointed why it doesn’t get as much appreciation as much as it deserves but I loved this book & I m going to give as much love to this book as I can and Author.
I received this book as a part of my January Bully Me Book Crate box If you like this genre, I highly recommend getting a monthly subscription to this box!!
This book was a definite page turner!! I love the characters a lot!! The steamy kings of the Lacrosse team, at Emery-Rose Elite School: Caleb, Theo, Liam and Eli Margo, the heroine, who has a past with Caleb. Margo has been in foster care for 8 years, and she’s just trying to get through it. Due to their past, Caleb bullies Margo. He also seems very possessive of her!! This was a great book with some twists. The relationship between Caleb and Margo is hot
I can’t wait to read book 2
I highly recommend this book
Absolutely love these books! My favorite a**hole of all!
Omg, more now and I mean now. This is like 0 to 60 in zero seconds. There is no warning this is a bully romance with no filter the hits are spectacular the people are of a different world and then there’s Margo who’s dealt with hate and hardship and now she was back and Caleb would make her rue the day she left. Love, love, loved it.
Excellent read. Well-written. While a long book, the story had a great pace and I enjoyed every minute of it. Loved the character development, side characters and their influence on the storyline, the suspense. So many stories this book could go, but the plot remained tight. Heroine was sweet with a little steal; hero was alpha, jealous and possessive. Can’t wait for part 2.
Wicked Dreams is my first book from S.Massery, and I am on a total bully romance kick at the moment and this fits the bill. I am reviewing after listening to the audio version and in my opinion this romance was on the darker side of the Bully trope, that’s ok for me but others I can imagine see Caleb’s (the Hero) and his friends actions a little aggressive towards Margot (the heroine).
As I was listening to the story I found it a little choppy at first, however as you get to know Margot you realise there is a reason for this. She herself doesn’t have all the pieces, the trauma she has suffered (and no we don’t know what this is at this point) has forced her memories to suppress. However Caleb isn’t in the dark and remembers everything that has happened, his blame and resentment lies with Margot.
I really enjoyed the mystery of the plot and the core group of characters were engaging and complex. I loved the love/hate relationship between Margot and Caleb I mean chemistry is chemistry right. These two are inexplicably drawn to each other and getting chapters from Caleb’s POV was really helpful in understanding his motives throughout. Margot for me didn’t come off as weak at all, there is a strength in her. I mean who wouldn’t quake in their boots when a guy like Caleb is like your shadow taunting you, yet awakening a desire in you, you never knew you had before.
Some characters by the end of the book surprised me and I know there is so much more to come for the Fallen Royals series. With Margot’s backstory remaining a mystery when it comes to her history with Caleb, her parents, her memories, her trauma plus secondary characters that seem to have their own Pandora’s box waiting in the wings, I am really intrigued to see what is to come.
I really liked the narrators used for the Audiobook Stephanie voiced Margot well, she packed emotion into her performance and made connecting with her character easier, I thought she had a great male voice throughout her chapters too. Troy is deep, husky and is the perfect fit to bring that dangerous, dark edge to Caleb’s character.
Wicked Dreams is the first book in The Fallen Royals series. S. Massery did a wonderful job setting up the series and bring it alive from the first page till the very big cliffhanger at the end. Yes, I did say big cliffhanger, it is a series after all and no author wants to leave you with all the answers and mystery gone when writing a series. Margo and Caleb has a lot of history together and their love as children quickly turned to hate when their world turned upside down. S. Massery kept my attention even while going back into the past to give details on what was happening from both Cale’s and Margo ‘s POV. Sometimes if an author does this you can easily lost interest if not done right and S. Massery definitely kept and held my attention. There is so many twists, turns, and things going sideways. Wicked Dreams definitely was not boring or predictable. Wicked Dreams will leave you with your emotions in a whirlwind of tangled emotions. Not to mention, the heat between Caleb and Margo is . Just when you think you have got a lock on them something will change. There is so much I want to say but then again I don’t want to ruin the book for anyone. I can’t recommend Wicked Dreams enough.
The narrators did a wonderful job. They both brought the book to life and you could visualize the events and feel what S. Massery wanted readers to feel. The speed worked very well for Wicked Dreams. With most devices you can change it but I found the default to be perfect.
Enjoy reading/listening all about Caleb and Margo and be prepared for the cliffhanger at the end.
This is the first book of the Fallen Royals series, a bully enemies to lovers romance story full of everything you love in this trope. Margo and Caleb’s story is not for the faint-hearted, this is a full-on bully romance, which I am addicted to, definitely hard situations and lots of intrigue and mystery, as well as action and suspense, the angst if perfect. The audiobook is phenomenal, narrators Stephanie Rose and Troy Duran did a fantastic job, the edition, sound, and mixing was perfect, their characters are spot on, definitely worth listening to.
Listened to this book on audio.
The narration was very good.
I had a few issues in the beginning of the story. It was hard to believe any of the feelings/connection that Caleb had toward Margo. He hated her, wants to make her life miserable…. but then wanted to be with her and prevent anyone else from doing so. I just had a hard time buying it.
But… as the story rolled on, it got better for me. I’ll be honest, there aren’t many redeeming qualities about these characters but that is what you expect in a bully romance. I found myself rooting for them though by the end of the story…. And I wasn’t aware there would be a cliffhanger and it was a doozy…. so now I’m anxiously waiting to get into the next book.
What a great beginning to this series. The lies, the secrets, bullying, playing mind games. What was the reason Margo was put in foster care? She can’t remember what happened when she was 10, when her father was arrested. But for what? She gets glimpses of memories in her nightmares. Who is UNKNOWN. Who taped a video of her with Caleb? Why does he hate her so much. Why did he tell the Jenkins those lies? Was this Caleb’s plan all along to destroy her? What an epic cliffhanger.
Stephanie Rose and Troy Duran are excellent vocal performers. Wow, they really brought this story to life! Every emotion, every voice , every character was perfection! They flawlessly transitioned from one character to another. Thank you for the great listen! I was gifted this audio and offered my honest review!
This is the first book in the Fallen Royals Series, an amazingly Dark High School Bully Romance. Wow! I loved it! Margo and Caleb’s story is well written, complex, enthralling, and well paced, filled with darkness, secrets, mystery, and anger. Caleb is a dark antihero, devious, and ruthless. Margo is amazingly beautiful and tortured. They share a sizzling chemistry. The storyline is intriguing and captivating. The world building is intricate and unique. The characters are well developed and intriguing. The story ends with an unpredictable and mind blowing cliffhanger. Stephanie Rose and Troy Duran did an amazing job with the narration. Looking forward to listen to the next book in the Series.
What a Wicked Ride!

This was my first book by S. Massery and isn’t it a treat that it is an audiobook so I can listen to the drama unfold. And boy does it unfold!
Caleb and Margo were once close friends. Her parents worked for his family and they lived in the guesthouse. All was wonderful when they were children… Until it wasn’t. Something happened when they were children that rocked both of their worlds and sent them on different paths – but their paths converge again – in revenge.
I really liked this book as it has so much going on, mystery, passion, suspense and the requisite elements of a bully romance – reluctant desire. I felt really bad for Margo and all that she endured as a child of the foster system only to return to her hometown and become the victim of a bully that use to be her best friend and all of her old friends seem to turn against her. She is placed in a home with people who seem to finally care for her. Caleb also begins to develop feelings for her and they begin a passionate romance. And then the ultimate betrayal…
There is a lot going on in this book that is a mystery and it keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting to know when it will be revealed. You want to know what happened to Caleb and Margo as children and why he hated her so much? What did she do/say that changed the course of their lives so dramatically. Also, why is he holding it against her when she was so young at the time? What happened to both of their parents? So many questions that need to be answered in the next book.
I really enjoyed listening to this book full of mystery, suspense and passion! The narration was good although it is hard to believe Troy Duran as a 18 year old boy with that deep voice of his.
All in all it was quite the enjoyable listen. Can wait for book 2!
This is the first story in the Fallen Royals series and is not your typical high school story.
Margo has been in the foster care system for about the last 5 years. Her father is in prison and her mother checked out on her. She has just been moved to a new home with a couple who are very loving and welcoming. If things go well they may wish to adopt her permanently. The only
thing that worries her is that she will be returning to her old home town and potentially going to high school with people from her past.
Margo had every right to be worried and right from the first day things do not bode well for her. She is vilified and treated like a leper. People are just downright cruel to her. She does find one new friend though and Riley turns out to be someone she can count on. The person she had been the most worried seeing was Caleb. The boy she fell in love with as a young girl, her best friend growing up.
Caleb has a lot of pent up resentment for Margo and he plans to make her pay for every damn thing that has gone wrong in his life due to her. The problem with that is that in doing so he also remembers how important she was to him, how important she still is. He goes from hating her to wanting to possess her, in every way.
Underpinning all of this are anonymous text messages, a mountain of secrets, disloyalty and a few jaw dropping truths that will leave you out on the edge of a very high cliff!

Gah!!! That cliffhanger!!! I’m so sad cause I just want to keep listening to the other books now. I really need to know what happens next, I’m legit dying here! I’m going to try my best and wait for the audio books for this series to come out to finish it. But I’m really going to have to go one click the kindle copies though.
Its so good! I can barely contain myself here! The angst, the torture on my heart, and some of the most insanely steamy moments that left me gasping, achy, and so needy for more. Caleb is so dang yummy, his sinister ways and with just a few words can have you twisted in his grasp. You just have no choice but to surrender to him, like a moth to a flame. He stomps on your heart and then with the snap of your fingers, has you begging for him.
Margo has been kicked too many times in her life. Caleb is her past and now she’s come face to face with him again. She can’t help but hate to love him. She’s stronger than she realizes. I’m so excited to see what she brings in book two.
The perfect bully romance! Definitely one of my top five bully romances. I mean this truly is how its supposed to be done. The writing and the narration is phenomenal!
Wicked Dreams: A Dark High School Bully Romance (Fallen Royals, Book 1) is absolutely a fabulous listen told in first person dual pov. I love the synopsis and length as the story isn’t rushed, just a wicked cliffhanger We begin with a mysterious prologue. Characters are compelling with complex personalities. The writing style is captivating and keeps the pages turning with its total mindscrew. The plot is mimd-bending with some foreshadowing and a mix of red herring and heaps of suspense and mystery and secrets. Brilliantly written and executed with plenty of angst.
Narrators: Stephanie Rose, Troy Duran dual performance was smooth and easy listen. Stephanie Rose captured the portrayal of Margo perfectly. The majority of the chapters are told in Margo’s pov so Stephanie carried more but Troy Duran’s performance was also perfect portrayal of Caleb. Loved the performance.
Excellent listen, looking forward to the next audio when available.
This was my first book by S. Massery and I’m hooked. The story was full of mystery and suspense that kept up throughout. I loved Caleb’s deviousness and can’t wait to see what his motives are and what he does next. I would have preferred for Margot to have more of a backbone. Hopefully, she develops one as the series continues. The side characters were interesting and there was plenty of steam! The cliff hanger at the end blew my mind. I definitely didn’t see that coming . I enjoyed the dual narration and can’t wait for book two!

Wow, absolutely loved this story and I’m definitely going to be reading more of this series.
I’m so twisted up over Caleb and his motives. And I also have soooo many questions I need answers to!
Poor Margot.
The relationships between her and the other characters were loving, hateful and sometimes fun.
The narration was fabulous, Stephanie and Troy did an awesome job!
