Rachel Hart and I are nothing more than teammates. As mercenaries for hire with the elite Jameson Group, we have each other’s backs in the most dangerous of circumstances. But after a mission gone deadly wrong, we do something we’ve never done before. We cross the professional line and take comfort in one another’s arms. One night of passion turns our lives upside down with a pregnancy neither of … neither of us expected, and one that Rachel clearly never wanted. But I am a family man through and through, and I’m determined to raise my child, with or without Rachel by my side.
The only common thread Rachel and I have is our membership at The Wicked Horse, a sex club that lets us fulfill our dirtiest fantasies with one another. As we become more intimately entwined, I find myself falling for Rachel more and more. Our wicked nights together make us so much more than teammates. And when faced with losing everything, I have to hope that Rachel realizes the most difficult choices are actually the easiest ones to make.

What a great addition to the series and a bit of a insight into something more. I know that sounds cryptic but you really need to read the letter Sawyer Bennett has at the beginning of the book for us, the readers, it will explain everything you need to know before starting the book.
Most of us have read the accidental pregnancy trope before but this one is a bit different, we don’t have the secrecy of it all and then a surprise your a daddy, no thankfully that isn’t what we have here. What we do have is two co-workers giving into one night of passion that lead to more than either of them ever thought it would. When Rachel told Bodie about the baby, as soon as she found out , I was thrilled with his reaction and compassion towards Rachel knowing that this wasn’t something either of them planned.
The Jameson Group, the company Rachel and Bodie work for, is a group of badass mercenaries that go into dangerous situations most of the time but there are times that they simply supply security for those that need extra eyes on them to make sure they’re safe. Bodie and Rachel are both excellent at what they do but how can they continue their life as it is now if they have a baby? Would Bodie raise the baby alone and move back to his parents home? Would Rachel give up her career and become a stay-at-home mom? So many questions and they all get answered, there is no cliffhanger. While this is book four in the Wicked Horse Vegas series it can be read as a standalone and that’s because Rachel and Bodie’s story doesn’t only happen at The Wicked Horse Vegas, most of their story took place at work. Oh, but don’t worry there were plenty of sexy times at the Wicked Horse Vegas.
**I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book**
Sawyer Bennett fans everywhere love the twisted couples in the Wicked Horse sex club romances. Wicked Choice incorporates Sawyer’s take on role reversal in a high-risk career in a fictional, non-sexist working environment that includes a single sexy woman in an all-male firm. The woman has skills and experience, is a former Olympic candidate with medals in shooting, her expertise, marksmanship. Plus, she is a reckless thrill seeker. In summary, this is a girl power story with lots of hot sex, acceptance, personal growth, and heart.
This was not my favorite Wicked Horse book, but it still is a good read. The issues I have with the book are just those that I have inside of me. I didn’t connect with Rachel at all. She and I are nothing alike, but man I loved Bodie. He is an awesome guy..inside and out! The scenes were a bit tamer than some of the past. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger. And, in the end Rachel won me over a bit.
Bodie is a very honest man, “her head snaps up, and she turns to glare at me. My return smile is lazy and filled with mischief. “Had to jack off because thinking about you made my ***k so hard,” I tell her with a grin.” Bodie’s mama taught well, the man loves to compliment his woman, “it was a damn effing good orgasm,” I say in agreement. “Oh, and the lasagna was awesome, too.” I really liked this book, I loved Bodie.
Holy hell. I was not prepared for Brodie and Rachel. At all. But now sitting here thinking back over this story, I cannot wait to see more from the Jameson Group and have glimpses into their future!
Who plans for one night to change everything?
Not Rachel Hart. She was not expecting a night with her teammate, full of charged emotions, to alter everything for her and them.
Brodie was refreshing. God was he a cool drink of water. His outlook and thought processes were so nice to see in the hero of a story.
I could not have asked for a better story to end this year on!
4.5 wickedly Hot Stars!!! A departure from but still true to the wicked horse Vegas series. Absolutely loved it and Bodie! Highly recommend this must read!
Yet again, I am MORE in love with this series! Sawyer Bennett never seems to disappoint me…hence the reason I keep coming back for more! And let me tell you, WICKED CHOICE did not disappoint! This novel was packed full of Bennett’s trademark kink *wink*, with a large dose of feeling and heart that had me emotionally invested throughout. There was some extra suspense and danger within the plot that kept me flipping the page as well. We got some interactions with previous characters in the series and were introduced to a set of new characters that I’m sure will be getting novels of their own one day! I absolutely adored Rachel and Bodie! Their chemistry sizzled off the page. Their explosive, yet, slow burn, had me captivated and fanning myself with each encounter. Their dynamic as a couple lent to a comedic tone to the storyline and was quite entertaining at times. I loved that this novel was more emotionally driven. It made it unique in the WICKED HORSE VEGAS series and because of that, it stands out. Before I’m done, let me talk about Bodie *swoon* He genuinely is the perfect book boyfriend. He is alpha, but yet tender. His openness, compassion and “family man” demeaner had me falling instantly for him. And then there’s Rachel. A “woman in a man’s world”. Having a career in a man dominated field, makes for a hard woman, but it was fun reading about her tough exterior gradually crumbling under Bodie’s hands. They truly were the perfect match. In the end, WICKED CHOICE had the ideal romance novel balance of rawness, heart and swoon-worthy moments, with some hot alpha, dirty talking, kink mixed in that any romance reader loves. I highly recommend this novel. It can be read as a standalone or a continuation of the Wicked Horse Vegas series.
Exciting news: Branch off series to come! This novel is considered a “bridge book” and introduced us to new characters that are considered within the Wicked Horse Vegas world because they have memberships to the Wicked Horse Club, but this novel also sets up a spin off series with the Jameson group characters (both Bodie and Rach work for the Jameson Group) which is a high-profile security group that specializes in special ops and other securities. More books and news to come!

WICKED CHOICE (The Wicked Horse Vegas, #4) by Sawyer Bennett is one of the best erotic romances I have read! There are hot, steamy and erotic sex scenes throughout an amazing gender twist of a story that is strong enough to stand on its own even without the erotic sex scenes, but where would be the fun in that?
Rachel Hart is one of the best at her job and has the confidence of her teammates. She was a Winter Olympian biathlete and extreme sport junkie. She has never fallen in love and refuses to let anyone get close.
Bodie Wright is an ex-Navy SEAL who has traded in the strict regimentation of the service for the less restrictive and more lucrative job at the Jameson Group. A Nebraska farmboy, who loves his extended family, but is not really looking to settle down just yet.
After a mission together gone wrong, Rachel and Bodie cross the understood, but not written rule that team members at Jameson do not fraternize. Sure, they see each other having sex at the club, but never do team members do team members. Their one night of amazing sex turns into a pregnancy with major, life-changing decisions to be made.
Ms. Sawyer takes this situation and turns it into a very unique story by having Brodie step up and want the baby no matter how it will change his life and career, while Rachel is the one who decides to carry the baby for Bodie, but she does not want to continue in its life after the delivery.
Rachel is such a complex heroine who Bodie seems to effortlessly understand. As the erotic sex continues throughout the story so does the emotional roller coaster, tears and decisions. I loved these two characters! The secondary characters were just as realistically written and I hope to see more of them in future books.
The Wicked Horse is a sex club in Vegas which is the background for this series of erotic romances. It is frequented by several of the teammates from the Jameson Group, which is a private group of elite mercenaries for hire. The owner of the Wicked Horse used to own both, but he sold the Jameson group to his best friend. This story is the bridge book between strictly erotic romances set around the Wicked Horse and a new series planned by this author to focus more on the Jameson Group mercenaries using a romantic suspense format. Do not worry about it being the fourth book in the series because it can be read easily as a standalone and I cannot wait to go back and read the first books in this series.
Sawyer Bennett is the best I love all her book.
This is the fourth book in the Wicked Horse Las Vegas series and is what the author calls a bridge book that connects it to a new series, The Jameson Group. Rachel and Bodie both work as mercenaries for the Jameson Group and are members of The Wicked Horse. They both are very good at their jobs and both enjoy the sexual freedom that The Wicked Horse Las Vegas offers. They work hard and play harder.
Rachel and Bodie are team members and have never crossed the line until an operation had gone wrong and Rachel and Bodie needed to connect on another level. They both felt a connection, but that night was never mentioned again until Rachel told Bodie she was pregnant. She didn’t want to have the baby, she was not mother material. She loved her job and didn’t want to give up the life she had built for herself, but she owed it to Bodie to at least tell him. She didn’t expect him to tell her that he wanted the baby. He said he would give up his job and raise the child on his own.
Even though this book doesn’t spend as much time in The Wicked Horse as previous, it still has some hot scenes. Rachel and Bodie have great chemistry and Bodie with his sweet and charming ways, chips away at Rachel’s resolve. This book has not only the unexpected pregnancy trope, but it also has the older woman, Rachel at 35 and Bodie at 26. This also adds to Rachel’s concerns. I don’t want to give anything away, but I do want to say that this book didn’t disappoint at all. I really look forward to the new series and more from The Wicked Horse Las Vegas.
*4 Stars*
This was my first book in the Wicked Horse Vegas series, and it was a really good read. I was probably a tad distracted at first as I was on holidays and trying to sneak in some reading here and there, but luckily I got a good chunk of time and was able to sit and read on the plane on the way home.
I enjoyed getting to know Rachel and Bodie in this one, and at times I didn’t agree with Rachel on particular things, but Bodie was always so sweet. What an adorable man.
It was interesting to see the characters come to terms with their reality in this one, and also to learn about their work. Seeing them piece the two together was also a journey.
I’d really like to know more about the other characters in the book, so I will be promptly going back to my GR and marking them all as books on my TBR.
This book is about balance in life, between your work life and your personal life, and how to consider juggling the two and still being happy with your life. Something that I think a lot of people will connect with, as this is a struggle for many.
Looking forward to more in this series, would recommend.
Wicked Choice is a sexy, emotional story. Rachel Hart & Bodie Wright are operatives in a high risk security firm called The Jameson Group. After a stressful mission, they cross a line and have a passionate night together. Rachel’s world is pulled out from under her and all her plans for the future are at stake when she finds out she is pregnant. Bodie is happy to raise his baby with or without Rachel but he is determined to show her how good it could be together. Their nights of smoking hot passion at the Wicked Horse is just the beginning in proving they are more than teammates. But can sexy, alpha Bodie convince thrill seeking Rachel, that a baby doesn’t end a thrilling life, but enhances it? This emotional, heartfelt, hot and sexy story is an exciting journey. I loved how this refreshing story dealt with not only Rachel and Bodie coming to terms with their surprise pregnancy, but also how their friends and teammates did as well. I loved this story and am excited to see where this series goes from here!
4.25 stars–WICKED CHOICE is the fourth instalment in Sawyer Bennett’s contemporary, adult WICKED HORSE VEGAS erotic, romance series focusing on the men and women of the exclusive sex club The Wicked Horse and The Silo-a spin off from the author’s original Wicked Horse series. This is mercenaries for hire Rachel Hart and Bodie Wright’s story line. WICKED CHOICE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty.
NOTE: WICKED CHOICE is a bit of a departure from Sawyer Bennett’s Wicked Horse series. As a ‘bridge’ between two series Wicked Choice sets the stage for the author’s new romantic, suspense spin-off series focusing on the men and women who work for The Jameson Group-mercenaries for hire.
Told from dual first person points of view (Rachel and Bodie) WICKED CHOICE follows the building relationship between teammates and mercenaries for hire Rachel Hart and Bodie Wright. Following a mission that went horribly wrong Rachel buried her emotions in alcohol and sex-a one night stand with Bodie Wright-that resulted in an unplanned pregnancy for our story line heroine. Believing motherhood will interfere in her long range plans, our tough as nails, fiercely independent heroine makes Bodie an offer he cannot refuse. What ensues is the building romance and love between Rachel and Bodie-a highly sexual relationship neither one expected to go beyond the needs of their physical desires.
Bodie Wright is a family man who isn’t afraid to step up and step in when Rachel announces their untimely pregnancy. Hoping to raise the child on his own, Bodie becomes support network and loving partner for a woman who battles between head and her heart. Believing she would be a bad mother Rachel offers up a promise to hand over the child she will never love.
The relationship between Bodie and Rachel begins as teammates and partners that grows into something more. A one-night stand will push Bodie and Rachel together, for better or for worse, when an unplanned pregnancy forces our couple to make plans for the future, one way or another. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense but as usual, I dislike the use of a certain four-letter word that doesn’t belong in a romance story line.
We are introduced to Bodie and Rachel’s teammates and fellow mercenaries at The Jameson Group: Cage Murdock, Locke Meyers, August Greenfield, Tank Richardson,, Sal Mezzina, and Benji Darden; the current owner of The Jameson Group Kynan McGrath; Jerico Jameson, founder and former owner of The Jameson Group, as well as the current owner and proprietor of the Wicked Horse, Vegas; Bodie’s parents George and Estelle Wright; and Ob-Gyn Dr. Anchors.
The world building focuses on the dangerous assignment and potential threats to the men and women who work for The Jameson Group. The Wicked Horse and The Silo are no longer the main focus in this particular story line as the author sets the stage for her upcoming series. There is a sight cross-over with the author’s Cold Fury Hockey series as well.
WICKED CHOICE is a sexy, spirited and spicy story line; the characters re energetic and passionate; the romance is provocative and intoxicating.
Sawyer Bennett keeps the steam level off the charts high while giving us a story that is packed full of emotion at the same time. In this latest installment of The Wicked Horse Vegas series we get to know Rachel Hart and Bodie Wright. Teammates on an elite mercenary team they have faced danger and always had each other’s back. Everything has always stayed professional until one nigh…..
That one night will change their lives in ways neither could have imagined and so starts their wild ride you don’t want to miss.
I highly recommend this one.
4.5 Stars!
Sawyer Bennett writing smut with all the feels? Uhmm, yes, count me in!! And WICKED CHOICE is exactly that – hot, passionate, sexy – but still it’s completely different from the others as well. There’s more suspense to it, more intrigue and danger that a job at the Jameson Group brings along with it – and there’s a reason for this kind of setting. Which one? Well, you will have to read the book to find out! I’ll only say this much: There are more exciting things yet to come!
The combination of the sultriness and sexiness of the Wicked Horse and the thrill of the underlying suspense ticked off all my boxes. Sigh. Add to that a broody, dirty-talking, yet adorable and swoony alpha male and a smart kick-a§§, take-no-prisoners heroine, who are as different as day and night, yet have chemistry as combustible as can be, and you have a captivating romance that had me flipping through the virtual pages. And that’s not even all: We also have the snarky side-mark from time to time that had me smirking, the reappearance of well-known and –loved characters of previous stories, and a well-written complex storyline that has it standing out from its predecessor of this series.
But, oh, I haven’t even told you the biggest difference to most romances yet. There are two, actually: It’s the girl who’s older than the guy for once – and not only by a few months or even years, but nine – NINE – years! Yay! And not only that, while you might assume that the younger guy will be the less responsible, not ready to stop playing the field, but act responsible instead, Bodie is exactly that: mature and responsible – a family man through and through, while Rachel is the exact opposite.
Watching them grow, mature and figure out how to work with the cards they have been dealt, while the odds seem to be all but against them, was fantastic.
Now, I’ll anxiously be waiting for whatever Ms. Bennett will bring us next!
If I said the other 3 books in this series were amazing, which I definitely did, then I would have to say this one is uber-amazing!! It is still hot, steamy and sexy with just the right amount of dirty talk, but it is really so much more; complete with sweetness, tenderness and heart to balance the dirty and sexy. As always it is wonderfully written with such a great and thoughtful story line that is so different from the others.
Rachel & Bodie have been teammates at The Jameson Group for a while now. They all frequent the Wicked Horse but usually not to hook-up with each other. She has always basically just been one of the guys on the team. Until one night after a really bad mission, when she seeks comfort from Bodie and they cross the line into super steamy uncharted territory together from which their lives are eventually turned upside down. Rachel’s declaration throws him for a loop but not so much that she is pregnant, he is actually good with that, but the fact that she doesn’t want to raise the baby is what perplexes him. He knows Rachel so he sort of understands.
Bodie is as alpha and bada$$ as they come, but underneath all that he is a sweet and thoughtful family oriented man. No matter what he will do the right thing and stay true to what he believes in.
You will find yourself routing for these two from the get-go! Can Bodie & Rachel be more than *&%$-buddies? Can Rachel really let Bodie be a single dad to her baby? Can he convince Rachel to do this with him? Will one of them have to leave the team? All of this will be answered as even though it is part of a series, it is a stand-alone with no cliffhanger. My favorite kind!!
Another 5 star read by the incredible Sawyer Bennett!!
I didn’t think it was possible but this series just got better! This is the best one yet!! Rachel Hart and Bodie Wright are perfect together even if they didn’t mean to be. What started out as an adrenaline-filled, slightly misguided hookup lead to consequences neither was expecting. What it did was set these two on a course that changed their lives forever. Such great world building and we get to know more about the Jameson group. Rachel and Bodie do not disappoint and the chemistry between these two are enough to set fire to my kindle and keep me flipping the pages so fast I had this one done and still wanted more. I definitely recommend this one. This can be read as a standalone.
Another visit to The Wicked Horse Vegas but this time we have the added mix of a high profile security team from The Jameson Group. Rachel Hart and Bodie Wright live their life’s on the edge, they travel all over the world performing security and mercernarie details but when her last mission went wrong Rachel finds herself rattled and she seeks more than comfort from her teammate Bodie.
This story may take place in The Wicked Horse Vegas but this book is more about Rachel and Bodie and The Jamieson Security Group, don’t get me wrong it’s still full of heat and passion but it takes us back to the romantic side of Sawyer Bennett’s writing. It’s a love story with great characters and I loved that the heroine is 9 years older than the man she falls in love with, I loved that the hero wanted nothing more than becoming a family man and was prepared to do what ever was needed in raising a child. That brings me to the epilogue, it was perfect and it has left me wanting so much more, I really hope we get more from Rachel and Bodie in future books maybe at The Wicked Horse or maybe in books centering around The Jamieson Group. Great read.
5 star Review Wicked Choice (The Wicked Horse Vegas # 4) by Sawyer Bennett
This is the fourth book in the Wicked Horse Vegas series and it was smoking hot, deliciously naughty and romantic; I loved it. This is Bodie Wright and Rachel Hart story. They both work for the Jameson Group doing highly elite security work.
But what happens when Rachel turns to Bodie for comfort? The chemistry and passion between Bodie and Rachel is electrifying and their passionate one night leads to complications neither of them expected.
Wicked choice has all the passion and fire that we have come to expect from this series as well as soul deep emotions that really force Rachel and Bodie to look deep into themselves to seek their own truths.
We also caught have with some familiar characters which is always a good thing and one of the things I enjoy about Ms. Bennett’s books is that she never forgets those characters whose stories have already been told.
This book was well written and exciting to read, emotional and at times stressful as Bodie and Rachel fought their emotions.
I really loved these characters and was intrigued as Sawyer Bennett delved into their characters. Hot, raunchy and sexy; Wicked Choice has it all. I was glued to the pages from start to finish and I didn’t want it to end. I cannot wait to read more in this exciting series.
I love, love, love Wicked Choice and this series. Good news Sawyer Bennett is going to keep writing this series. She said that she normally caps off her series at 5 books but, will keep writing it. The other piece of good news is that there will be a spin off and this is a crossover book to that new series that will start in 2019. This new series will be a romantic suspense series. The only bad part is having to wait until 2019.
Wicked Choice is Rachel Hart and Bodie Wright’s story. They work together as “mercenaries for hire with the elite Jameson Group” and one night of passion leads to an unexpected pregnancy that Rachel doesn’t really want a part of but, Bodie does.
Neither Bodie nor Rachel have anything in common except work and “The Wicked Horse” a sex club that they are both members of. Of course, the sex that these two have is off the charts. Making this book super hot and sexy making this book 5 Stars all the way over the top.
I am so happy that I finally discovered this author and truly look forward to the next book.
