NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • Lizzy and Diesel are back in a wicked adventure from Janet Evanovich and Emmy Award–winning co-author Phoef Sutton. Before he was murdered and mummified nearly a century ago, notorious bootlegger Collier “Peg Leg” Dazzle discovered and re-hid a famous pirate’s treasure somewhere along the coast of New England. A vast collection of gold and silver coins and precious … silver coins and precious gems, the bounty also contains the Stone of Avarice—the very item reluctant treasure seeker Lizzy Tucker and her partner, Diesel, have been enlisted to find. While Lizzy would just like to live a quiet, semi-normal life, Diesel is all about the hunt. And this hunt is going to require a genuine treasure map and a ship worthy of sailing the seven seas . . . or at least getting them from Salem Harbor to Maine.
Greed is eternal and insatiable, and Lizzy and Diesel aren’t the only ones searching for the lost pirate’s chest. People who have dedicated their entire lives to finding it are willing to commit murder or make a deal with the devil just to hold the fortune in their hands. One of those people may even be Wulf, Diesel’s deceptively charming and enigmatic cousin. Wulf desires the Stone of Avarice. He also desires Lizzy. It’s hard to say how far he’s willing to go to gain either one.
Wicked Charms is a swashbuckling adventure full of raiders, monkeys, minions, and mayhem. Lizzy and Diesel are going to have to do everything they can to keep their heads above water and hope they’re living a charmed life.

Love them all!
I love this author.
I always enjoy all of Janet Evanovich’s series and this was one I needed to listen to the last few days. Lorelei King always does a wonderful narrating again by doing all the different voices of each character.
A fun series!
Best series, action packed and laugh out loud reading. Love all of her books.
Anything written by Janet Evanovich is going to be worth reading and resharing. Her books are always fun and easy to read her characters are amazing. I look forward to every new release in all her series. Definitely a good read.
Great for a light read, especially if you like Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum novels.
Mozzie and Diesel are delightful! The “wicked” books are wonderful! If you like cupcakes, crime, and heat sprinkled with a bit of magic, this series is for you. I loved it!
You can’t go wrong with Lizzie and Diesel. This is the third volume of a hilarious series.
Cute book!!
Amusing diesel tale
I NEVER wanted this book to end! I wanted more! More Wulf, more Diesel more unbelievable magic! The stuff these characters got into made me laugh and sigh and crave cupcakes. I am a HUGE fan of Ms. Evanovich now and will definitely read more of her books.
I love Lizzy and Diesel. They’re great characters
I Love this series! Hilarious situations, great characters, and crazy twists. A quick fun read. A Great book to read on vacation. Lighthearted and so funny!!
Predictable? You bet.
Formulaic? Indeed.
Did I mind at all? Not a bit…
I find this series to be fun. Pure, simple, unadulterated fun. The books follow a formula. The characters always act, well, in character. There aren’t a lot of surprises. But I don’t mind, because they are just plain fun to read.
If you like your books with hi-jinks ala Lucy and Ethel and sexual tension of the early Moonlighting, Bruce Willis/Cybill Shepherd variety, then these are up your alley. My one series issue is that Lizzy is a bit, well, wimpy – I keep wanting her to amp it up a little, be a little more Stephanie Plum and a little less Miss DePesto. But she is who she is, and that’s all good. And my one book complaint this time around is that there wasn’t as much Wulf as I like – he’s too bad to be truly good and too good to be truly bad and I think he adds the one bit of mystery/complexity that keeps the books from being too traditional beach-read romance. Still, as I said, they’re fun books and fun to read once a year when the latest iteration comes out. So check this one out if you haven’t!
Oh, and this was my first ever GoodReads First Reads win – I never win anything, so thank you – so my copy was generously provided by the publisher, Ballantine.
Funny! Love the tension between Deisel & Liszt!
One of my favorite authors. Enjoyed this book.
Loved Evanovich’s other books but this book was terrible. Plot was poorly developed; characters were rather boring, writing was sophomoric. Overall, i forced myself to finish it just because I was such a fan of her other series. Needless to say, I will definitely not subject myself to reading another of this series.
I adore this series by Janet Evanovich and wish there were more books in this series.
As always Janet Evanovich delivers an entertaining story.
