As the prince of a luxury hotel empire, I am as close to American royalty as one can get. I grew up accustomed to a certain lifestyle. One where people give me what I desire and anything, or anyone, else can be bought. Everyone wants a piece of me, yet no one is actually deserving of my time. That changes when Bailey Robbins, the smoking hot housekeeper in one of my hotels, catches my attention. … attention. Sure, she has curves for days but it’s her smart mouth I can’t help but be intrigued by. I may have avoided relationships all my life, but something about her makes me want to introduce her to my world. The darker, wicked side of Declan Blackwood.

This is my favorite story in this series, I am sad to see it end. Declan and bailey are great together. They get each other and bring out the best in each other. It was hot and I could not stop reading/listening. Bailey and Declan moving on from their past and trusting each other was so great.
Thank god for audio since I ended up d]getting a migraine and couldn’t read so I was able to finish the book with audio. Lance Greenfield and Kristen Leigh narration was on point and Sawyer Bennett never disappoints.
Audio Review: Wicked Billionaire (The Wicked Horse Vegas #8) by Sawyer Bennett, Narrated by Lance Greenfield, Kirsten Leigh
Bennett saved the best for last. Wicked Billionaire is brash, sensual, acerbic and unpredictable. Declan can be a little hard to take, but the thrill comes from waiting to see what he’ll do next. In Bailey he meets his match. A tough cookie with the smart mouth to back it up. I had the chance to listen to Leigh and Greenfield bring Bailey and Declan to life and the experience is electric. A firecracker.
If you like a Cinderella fairy tale trope, then read this book. I just think some parts were good, and other parts of it were ok. I just think this series has run its course as the stories go on the direction hasn’t peaked my interest 100? But it does sure have some steamy elements that Sawyer knows how to write.
Narrators Lance Greenfield and Kirsten Leigh were good for their characters, but a pet peeve of mine is using the same narrators for an entire series that makes them seem the same characters throughout.
I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Holy Smokes! I almost had to pull out a cigarette after listening to this book! It is steamy and just plain Hot Hot Hot! Phew! (Swipes forehead). That Declan! He doesn’t know whether he is coming or going in dealing with Bailey. It’s great visualizing him doubting, second guessing and resisting her. Seeing all he had to go through was simply wonderful. Bailey is all sassiness and stunning. Her ideals and ethics are worth reading this for. The way she showed Declan about their differences and how the “real world” is was amazing. Each of these characters enter Into an agreement expecting one thing but getting something else all together. They face adversaries and seeing them come out the other side so different was great!
I did listen to this on audio. Lance Greenfield and Kirsten Leigh we’re both outstanding. They really took the story to a higher level.
I love this series from Sawyer Bennett! It’s a fun, light, super-steamy read that never disappoints. These characters are low on drama and perfect for each other. I can’t ever get enough of the Wicked Horse!
I always knew Declan would be a tough nut to crack in the relationship department. That made it particularly delicious to see this confident, smirking rake fall for such an authentic and intelligent woman like Bailey.
What makes the book that much better is in addition to being talented in the passion department we get to see the layers peeled away that show what he is like deep down. I really liked how Declan turned out even though he really surprised me.
Wicked Billionaire (Wicked Horse Vegas # 8) by Sawyer Bennett was another winner in this series. Each book has been panty dropping hot. Declan Blackwood is the heir to a hotel empire, playboy, life long bachelor, sexy as sin alpha male. He works hard as he plays and the Wicked Horse is his playground. When Bailey Robbins comes in to clean his suite he is instantly smitten with the beauty. When she helps him solve a problem he offers her a job as his personal assistant. After the divorce from her ex Bailey is left working 3 jobs to pay the debts he left her. This job offer can turn things around for her. Unfortunately when they cross a line things between them get complicated and when a blast from his past shows up; it took this story up a knot. I couldn’t get enough of this story. Declan and Bailey were sexual napalm together. The more time they spend together and the more they revealed about each other, what was supposed to be casual morphed into more. Definitely enjoyed their journey to their HEA. 4.5 stars for me.
Fabulous Story & Narration A WickedDelight
Wicked Billionaire
Wicked Horse Vegas
By: Sawyer Bennett
Narrated by: Lance Greenfield and Kirsten Leigh
I love, love, loved this book, one of my favorites in this awesome series. Sawyer Bennett is a gifted author, she writes stories that are captivating from start to end and the characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with. So happy Declan Blackwood was getting his own book, a good friend of August in “Wicked Secret” he did great things for him when he was in a bind. He puts most of his energy into his family’s business empire, he is not interested in getting involved with anyone so being a member of the Wicked Horse BDSM Club in Vegas is the perfect way to find his release without the hassle of a relationship. He is alpha both at work and when he plays. Bailey Robbins is fierce, she is working several jobs to help pay off a debt her ex-husband got them into. Once of jobs is housekeeping at the Blackwood hotel, she is cleaning Declan’s suite and when she makes a suggestion he winds up offering her job as his personal assistant. Not thrilled with the man himself she could use the money, it would allow her to quit her other jobs. I loved how she stood up to him and held her ground. Declan is used to snapping his fingers and getting people to do what he wants, but not so with Bailey and he admired her for that. The chemistry between these two is undeniable, while they come from completely different worlds they just worked. She brought out the human side of him. I loved how everything plays out in this book, as with all of Sawyer Bennett books, it is brilliantly plotted and there is never a dull moment. There is plenty of drama, a bit of angst, a surprising twist, some heartfelt and emotional moments, some hot kink and a great romance. Sawyer Bennett, thank you for this fabulous story and series!
I listened to the Audible edition, Lance Greenfield and Kristen Leigh are fabulously talented narrators and versatile narrators. They continue to bring these characters to life, giving each their own voice and personality as well as heart and attitude. Their portrayal of the characters is perfection, they grasp their persona to the tee, sounding just as I picture them to sound. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture the character’s passion and emotions which is reflected in their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen
Declan Blackwood…screams alpha male. He definitely has a take charge attitude and very rarely is told no. If that doesn’t say alpha male I don’t know what does. I enjoyed that this romance started in a more unconventional way. Then Blaire was introduced to some of Declan’s more wicked ways. Let me say those wicked ways were so hot and steamy. There was a little drama towards the end but it was there and resolved super quick. I wish there could have been more with that. But I did enjoy the story and the characters were great. The writing was really good I just wanted a little bit more.
Wicked Billionaire
Series: Wicked Horse Vegas 8
By: Sawyer Bennett
Narrated by: Lance Greenfield and Kirsten Leigh
If you love alpha males, then you are sure to love this story in the Wicked Horse Vegas! I know after book 7, I was excited to hear Declan’s story and it’s so good! Declan is a man who is successful, used to getting his way and making fantasies come true at the Wicked Horse. Not interested in a relationship, he enjoys his time at the club. Bailey is a woman struggling to get back on her feet after her divorce. When Declan offers her the position as his assistant, she is hesitant, but the money is too good. Is it only just the job she in interested in? These two have such incredible chemistry. I really enjoyed them. From opposite sides of the tracks, they do have obstacles to overcome. Each has their own set of baggage and secrets that may destroy their new found attraction. Will it survive? Fun, passion, chemistry, family, secrets, Sawyer Bennett gives it all to us and more. The last book in the series, it leaves us happy and satisfied.
Narration by Kirsten Leigh and Lance Greenfield is spot on! I love this team, and their performance enhances the story, Leigh gives us Bailey, with brains and sass, the perfect personality. Greenfield plays Declan with that growlie alpha male voice. He creates the most amazing picture of Declan with his voice. They bring it all to life and let us escape into the Wicked Horse world.

All I can say is WOWWWWWW!!! Wicked Billionaire was incredible!! Sawyer Bennett delivered once again a story that was unputdownable! I am seriously so sad that this series is over but Wicked Billionaire was a great way to end it.
Declan was the ultimate hero-a cocky exterior with a heart full of gold. He is used to his life and keeps women at arms length. That is until Bailey walks in. She knocks him off kilter and gives him everything he never thought he needed. But things are never that easy…
I loved this book so freakin’ much. Ms. Bennett knocked this one out of the park. The writing was phenomenal, the characters were unforgettable, and the storyline was perfect. I am so excited to see what comes next!
I loved this series but this is my favorite book of the series. Sawyer Bennett has ended this series with a hot, sexy, fun read. Declan and Bailey were perfect for each other. It was fantastic to see how they overcame their own issues to come together.
Whenever I pick up a Wicked Horse book by Sawyer Bennett, I know that I’m in for a very sexy ride. Wicked Billionaire definitely delivers and there’s a scene in this one that may cause your reading device to go up in flames (wink wink – the deck – wink wink). Readers met sexy billionaire Declan Blackwood in Wicked Secret, but if you’re not familiar with the series, this one can definitely be read as a standalone.
Wicked Billionaire is a forbidden office (boss/employee) romance with a pinch of hate to love too. Bailey and Declan come from very different backgrounds, but I really liked how they challenged each other. Declan was a bit too cold and abrasive for me, but the glimpses of tenderness with his former nanny were very sweet. I think what stopped me from loving him, was that I felt his behavior really pushed/crossed the line of sexual harassment. I know part of that was a defense mechanism, but the employment decision he made after his initial agreement with Bailey just didn’t sit right with me. The drama towards the end was a bit predictable, but I did enjoy seeing them slowly open up and stand by each other. Wicked Billionaire wasn’t my favorite installment of the series, but I’ve really enjoyed my time at The Wicked Horse Vegas. It’s definitely bittersweet to say good bye to this series.
*I voluntarily read an advance review copy of this book*
With Wicked Billionaire, Sawyer Bennett gives us another steamy addition to the Wicked Horse Vegas series. Declan Blackwood is decisive both in his business and his personal life. He’s a no strings, one and done kinda guy. He works hard and plays harder. Bailey Robbins could be more opposite if she tried. She works three jobs and cares for ailing parents. That leaves her little time for doing anything else. Declan’s snap decision to hire Bailey as his assistant maybe one of the best he’s ever made. To Bailey, her new job is her saving grace. Things get sticky though when these two cross a line at Wicked Horse but living out fantasies is what the place is all about. The road Bailey and Declan choose to travel is not without setbacks but ultimately they get what they both want…each other.
I LOVED Declan and Bailey’s story. It’s full of all the sexiness you expect from a Wicked Horse book, but there’s also romance and family, and just a great storyline!
4.5 stars – This was such a super hot, feel-good romance.
“It’s been a long damn time since a woman’s interested me like this, and oddly, the way I know she’s interesting is that my palm actually itches to spank her ass for her impertinence.”
Declan Blackwood is the wealthy heir apparent to a hotel dynasty. He works hard and plays hard, too. He has no time for relationships and prefers to have his fun at the Wicked Horse club in Vegas. He doesn’t normally pay much attention to the multitude of staff at his latest resort, but the beautiful housekeeper who comes to clean his suite totally catches his eye. When she unexpectedly solves a problem for him, he offers her a new job on the spot. However, her reticence not only irritates him but intrigues him, too.
“I realize, without a doubt, this woman is unlike any other I’ve been with. She’s dangerous.”
Bailey Robbins works three jobs and is devoted to her parents. When the opportunity to increase her earning power as well as broaden her experience presents itself, she decides to take it. Her first impression of her new boss is not great, in spite of his stellar looks, but there’s no denying the frisson between them. When he takes her to the Wicked Horse in the name of ‘research’, they cross a line. When they come up a with a plan that will keep their professional and personal lives separate, they never considered that their black-and-white plan would start to grey.
“She’s tapping into my emotions on a level I’d long thought was dead.”
This was a fantastic, easy read. Bailey and Declan are from completely opposite ends of the social spectrum but their work ethic and drive are much the same. Bailey had grit, confidence and spirit. I loved the ‘ordinary’ she brought to Declan’s life and how she never tried to be something she wasn’t. Declan had an arrogance that only the wealthy have but I was totally digging his admiration of Bailey. I also thrilled at his desire for her. Their chemistry was scorching hot but I also loved their mental connection. Both had hang-ups but I loved that they were both willing to take a chance on the other, and brought something to each other’s life that was previously lacking. Loved it!
I was really looking forward to this book after reading Wicked Secret and being introduced to Declan there. This is a fitting conclusion to the Wicked Horse Vegas books as it focuses more on the characters and less on the club. They go a few times, but it’s more about each of their family lives and their business relations as well as their love story. I keep wondering if Ms Bennett is setting us up for a spin off series for the new hotel chain that Declan is looking to create outside of the Blackwood umbrella. One can hope …
This story is about two completely opposite people in so many ways. They were raised differently. They have different values. They have different priorities. They have different economic and familial structures. But they manage to come together and make it work, with a few kinks.
I love that Bailey is strong and stands up to Declan on a regular basis, in both business and personal needs. She learned the business very quickly and made herself a much needed asset. Her ability to blend in, even when she’s mostly uncomfortable, is another asset. And, finally, her kindness and love for Leonie makes her perfect for Declan. Even though Leonie is not his mother, she wants grandchildren from Declan. So he and Bailey need to hop to it. She’s not getting any younger. God, I love this woman.
All the sexy hot goodness that is the Wicked Horse Vegas series comes to an end but oh what a to go! Declan and Bailey’s story brings all the heat we expect from this series but it also has a touching romance with all the emotion you crave. This is a fantastic easy read that I think everyone will enjoy. I highly recommend it.
Declan “Dicklan” Blackwood is hotel royalty. Declan, with expectations of taking over the family business, works hard trying to come up with new ideas to impress his father. Declan is the genius behind the money, but he also takes time to play HARD at the Wicked Horse. After a night of fun, Declan awakens to a problem at work. Known for his stern business practices, Declan fires his personal assistant for not using her brain to solve the problem. Without an assistant, Declan is stuck with having to do her job. Until….
Bailey Robbins, jack of all traits and jobs, is currently working three jobs while barely scrapping by. Bailey’s currently working as a hotel chambermaid. Her job is to clean the upper end hotel suites—including Declan’s. It’s not a job she enjoys, but it’s a job she desperately needs. Bailey’s ex-husband left her with a mountain of credit card debt. Bailey’s also helping her parents with their numerous medical bills. Family is extremely important to her and she would do anything to help her parents. So Bailey’s working and has just witnessed Declan firing his personal assistant. When “Dicklan” starts demanding that she help him with his business party, she’s livid. He’s never noticed or spoken to her before, but is now telling her what to do. Bailey refuses. While this angers Declan, it also excites him. He’s amazed, intrigued that she didn’t jump at his every command. But, challenge accepted!
Different worlds collide in the most amazing ways! Declan’s family is dysfunctional to say the least. So he hasn’t always had the best example as to what a “real” family is like. Bailey would do anything for her family—even work three jobs only to never get ahead. Bailey’s family is traditional, Declan’s is not. Declan’s nanny, as a child, is more a mother to him than his real mother. I loved watching Bailey take Declan by the hand and show him that money isn’t everything. The wonder at Declan’s new discoveries, ex Thanksgiving dinner, was child-like. I also loved how Declan unleashed Bailey’s wild side. Bailey and Declan were AMAZING together! The witty banter, love, and “fun” times at Wicked Horse were epic. I’m sad to see this series end, but what an ending! This was one of my favorite novels in the series—most relatable to me. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
This book is so good. I couldn’t put it down. I really love how Bennett writes such strong characters. This heroine can stand her own ground. She’s smart and sassy. I also loved that it wasn’t over the top based on the series. A perfect beach read.
