As the prince of a luxury hotel empire, I am as close to American royalty as one can get. I grew up accustomed to a certain lifestyle. One where people give me what I desire and anything, or anyone, else can be bought. Everyone wants a piece of me, yet no one is actually deserving of my time. That changes when Bailey Robbins, the smoking hot housekeeper in one of my hotels, catches my attention. … attention. Sure, she has curves for days but it’s her smart mouth I can’t help but be intrigued by. I may have avoided relationships all my life, but something about her makes me want to introduce her to my world. The darker, wicked side of Declan Blackwood.

Wicked Billionaire is the eighth full-length novel in the Wicked Horse Vegas series by Sawyer Bennett. There are also a few novellas in between. You can read each book as standalone but I do recommend reading the series since they are smokin’ hot! I have been following Wicked Horse since the original Wicked Horse series. I can’t get enough! Declan Blackwood has been a supporting character through the series, I have been waiting for his story and it was so worth the wait!
Declan was the heir to the Blackwood empire. He didn’t have time for relationships, complications, or even golf most days. He only had time to indulge at the Wicked Horse for a quick f*ck a few times a week. It was all he wanted. Sex. No cuddling. No after-thought. He never went back for seconds. Then he saw her. He was intrigued by the resort’s newest maid. She was beautiful and exotic. That was all he knew about her but there was something there and when she spoke back to him? He wanted her even more but he couldn’t go there after hiring her as his Personal Assistant. He didn’t mix business with pleasure but there was always loopholes, right?
A proposal. Bailey needed this job. She had shit to take care of thanks to her ex-husband. She needed this job to make a life for herself and sleeping with the boss would be a terrible idea. She finds that out real fast then he comes up with a proposal she didn’t want to refuse. She needed this. She deserved it. To keep sex and business separate. Wicked Horse was their playground. Blackwood Resorts was their protection. Easy, right?
Hahahaha! Ok…
Holy. Hotness!! The thing I love about this series is that each has it own kink and of course storyline. It’s never boring. I always want more. With Declan and Bailey is about trust, family, and limits. Bailey doesn’t give a shit about Declan’s money and Declan feels that from the very beginning and I loved that. Bailey is a badass, she knows her worth, smart, sweet, and funny. At first Bailey thinks he is an asshole but soon learns he has layers. He is so much more than an arrogant, hot AF businessman. He is sweet, funny, and definitely has a bit alpha in him. Together, their banter and sexy times are amazing!
Quotes:
“I knew this would end up being a bad idea,” he murmurs. He speaks so softly I’m not sure if I heard him correctly.
“You used to call me Miss Robbins to put distance between us. Remind me of my place. But now it’s just kind of sexy when you do it.”
“What’s so funny?” I ask.
“It’s just… have you ever eaten a hot dog for dinner?” she asks.
I give her a faux glare, her question bordering on impertinent and an indirect slam at my upbringing. Secretly, though, I find it hilarious. “Of course I’ve had hot dogs,” I say imperiously. “But only if we had Grey Poupon in the fridge.”
Bailey snort laughs. “Good one.”
Oh how the mighty fall! It takes a woman like Bailey with a strong backbone to catch and keep Declan’s interest. This book is one of the best in this series.
What I loved about it:
Declan is a very capable, sure of himself man. He is a problem solver.
Loved how he learns from Bailey.
Loved that she doesn’t bend over backwards for him. She is feisty.
When they are intimate is adventurous and fan yourself hot.
Loved how he takes charge of a situation.
That Bailey is simple and down to earth. A complete contrast to him but he is more than willing to adapt with her.
Loved how he is always so impressed and fascinated with her brain. She is a full package.
In general, I loved how their relationship progresses. Not only in the bedroom but also professionally, because it causes a deep respect for one another to just exist. For the man who was thought to have everything, it turns out that happiness arrives in the form of a challenging woman. The one that knows he can be better.
ARC received from author for an honest review
This is the final in the Wicked Horse Vegas series, and sigh, it pains me to say this, but Wicked Billionaire really didn’ do it for me. And I have never, ever said that about a Sawyer Bennett book.
I liked the first say, 25-30%. Our leading lady Bailey was strong and feisty, and the snark between her and Declan was off the charts steamy. And then…. it wasn’t
From there on it was just a whole lot of not much to me. I am sure this is mostly a me thing, and that everyone else will love it. It just didn’t keep my attention, and it took me days to finish it, and again, I am never like this with a Saywer book.
One thing I did love, compared to other books I have read recently that are based around a sex club. It wasn’t just the sex club. The sex club was just a small part of their story.
I just didn’t feel any connection between Bailey and Declan. I felt that there was something keeping them at arms length right through the story. Again, this is probably just me.
I am sad to see the end of the Wicked Horse series, but I am looking forward to what Ms Bennett brings us next.
Everyone thinks it must be phenomenal to be rich, and in Declan Blackwood’s case, mega rich. But it all means nothing if you’re not completely happy or fulfilled. He has tried to occupy his time with work, golf, the club, and it worked until he met Miss Robbins. He saw something there, on that day she came to clean his suite. Based off that, he offers her a job as his assistant, because he all of sudden needs a new one. I think Declan would be the first to tell you he never thought it would last, their working relationship, for a few reasons, mainly because Miss Robbins wouldn’t back down and submit to him at work, and also that she probably like to submit to him at the club. He is headstrong on never crossing the line with his employees but the lovely Miss Bailey Robbins is not one to quit easy.
In spite of his upbringing, Declan wasn’t totally heartless. There was one other woman in his life that he treasured and took care of, so when Bailey tells him she has parents with health issues, he understood her concerns and obligations, just like he does for his nanny, Leonie. I admired the way Declan went from strength to strength as the relationship was evolving. Just as much as, I think highly of Bailey dropping her walls and trusting Declan to not be Dicklan. When she hears him say he loves her, in that suite, I nearly melted with her and was on board with forgiving him when he explained all the details.
As this is the last Wicked Horse Vegas book, and I’m so glad it has ended on a high. To me, this is the best couple yet to frequent the sex club. They started out like the others, each wanting to reach the optimum enjoyment from their sexuality but discovered a greater high with finding their significant other and reaching their HEA. Bailey and Declan may have come from different backgrounds but they were definitely made to be together.
Declan might be arrogant but he sure is swoon worthy!! Lana~White Hot Reads
Declan has meet his match with Bailey. She seems to be the only one who stands up to him and it gets him excited. She’s smart and trustworthy and can give as good as she gets. Declan brings out a side in Bailey she never knew she had. The chemistry between them is explosive and hot. I think Declan might be my favorite in this series.
Another wonderfully written book by Ms. Sawyer! She has such a gift for writing. When the story starts off, I’m not too crazy about Declan. He seems like a selfish, arrogant, rich, entitled jerk. But, as I got to know him, found out about his childhood and met his parents my opinion of him changed. I loved how Bailey ended up being Declan’s personal assistant. I loved Bailey and how she is strong, independent, and not impressed with Declan’s money. I especially liked the nickname she came up for him before she got to know him. There are some hot scenes at the Wicked Horse! Declan’s parents and sister are typical rich snobs that I would never want to be around. Declan did learn about love from his nanny that he is still in touch with. I was glad that I got to see another side of Declan, and I think Bailey helped to bring out the good in him. I loved the story and strongly encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.
*I received a free copy of Wicked Billionaire. This has in no way influenced my review which is honest and unbiased.*
The hotness factor in Wicked Billionaire is off the charts! And I loved both Declan and Bailey very much. She didn’t take any kind of shit from Declan and was completely able to stand her own. And ironically, this is what made Declan so very interested in her.
Written in dual points of view, the reader gets both Declan’s and Bailey’s inner thoughts, which is a great thing, because they both start asking themselves questions at the same time.
Another hot romp in Vegas, but with much more than that, too. Bailey takes care of her parents whenever she feels that she has to, and Declan is more or less estranged from his family. However, they both have a common goal for the future: not trust too easily, and not be hurt again.
They say all good things must come to an end and while that is true with the Wicked Horse Vegas series, Sawyer Bennett sends it out on a high!
Declan Blackwood is a hotel tycoon that is not only known for his prowess in the boardroom, but also in the bedroom, err, The Wicked Horse. His life revolves around his work and relationships are not his thing. He’s always lived a life of privilege, but he’s got a side of him that is softer, but it will take a special person to get to that very hidden spot.
Bailey Robbins grew up with parents who worked hard and that trait was passed on to her. She’s working multiple jobs to make ends meet while also helping her parents out when she can since they both suffer from health issues. She’s sassy, spirited and smart.
During her shift as a maid at the hotel, Bailey encounters Declan in his suite and there is a spark that he feels that he can’t seem to understand. When he’s put in a jam by his current assistant, he tells Bailey to help him. She pushes back and in the end, he dares her to try to be his assistant all the while thinking she’ll be just like the rest who go through the revolving door. What Declan doesn’t realize is Bailey is a hard worker and she’s bound and determined to make it in this job. When sparks begin to fly between Declan and Bailey, will the working relationship be able to stay in tact even if they make an agreement outside the office?
There was so much to love in this book. I loved Bailey and her attitude and how she was able to make Declan see things in a different light. Yes, they grew up very differently, but as people, that doesn’t change how you feel when you’re around them and while they may have been opposites in so many ways, they fit together perfectly. I also loved the part his former nanny played and how it shows that you can choose your family.
Overall, a really enjoyable and easy to read book to finish out this series. It’s been a great heat filled ride with the Wicked Horse Vegas crew!

Wicked Billionaire is the final book in The Wicked Horse – Vegas series by Sawyer Bennett. I am sad to see it come to end because I have thoroughly enjoyed each installment in this series. This series was extremely HOT and sexy. It even took me out of my comfort zone at times. It for sure melted my kindle 😉
I will say that I had a harder time connecting to this book and the Hero of the story. I knew going in Declan was going to be a tough one to crack but I wish I would’ve seen his softer side more. I loved the direction this story took at the 70% mark and really wished we would’ve seen this side of Declan earlier in the book.
I will say I LOVED Bailey….she was strong, sassy, fierce and independent. She was also able to do things with an open mind. She did have trust issues that were warranted, and I was glad to see Declan help her get over those and to open herself to finding love again.
Declan and Bailey are true opposites in almost every way, but it worked so well in this story. They truly complimented each other but also grew together as a couple.
If you are a fan of Sawyer’s books and The Wicked Horse – Vegas, then you need to read this book. It is told in Dual POV and is a complete stand-alone. This is a series that can be read in any order without losing anything from the reading experience.
Add this to your TBR list…it was definitely worth the read!!
Say it doesn’t have to end! This cannot be the last of this series but if it really is it is going out on a high note. Declan Blackwood and Bailey Robbins are PERFECT for each other. Even though they are the ultimate opposite they work. She has enough sass and confidence to put up with his arrogance and alpha ways. I’m not going to tell you anything about this one because if you have read any of the Wicked Horse books (and if you haven’t WHY NOT!) you know they are sexy hot and this one is too. I recommend this one highly! This one can be read as a standalone.
This was the perfect ending to this series. Declan and Bailey are so perfect for each other. Declan thrives at the Wicked Horse. He has no need for anything other than one night stands. Bailey is a housekeeper at the Blackwood resort whom Declan immediately hires as his assistant when she trouble shoots a problem for him. He pursues her even though she’s now his employee. I truly enjoyed the progression of these characters throughout this book. I would love for a follow up novella in the future about how the characters from this series are doing!
*3 Stars*
ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.
This one didn’t really hold me the way a Sawyer Bennett book normally does. I just wasn’t captured by it. It wasn’t that I didn’t like the characters, especially Bailey, she was pretty cool. I don’t even know how to explain it.
It might be that I’m not a huge fan of overly sexed up books, and this one starts off with a fair few sex scenes. Which is completely understandable given that its part of the Wicked Horse series, revolving around the Wicked Horse sex club.
My favourite part of this book was the end, when things delved a bit deeper for the characters. I didn’t mind this book, I just didn’t love it, and thats just a personal choice. I really like reading Sawyer Bennett books in general, and I still really look forward to what she brings us next.
I feel bad I can’t give this one more than 5 stars! Declan. lackwood, heir to the Blackwood luxury hotels, entitled, arrogant, condescending a*&$*hole. Bailey, maid at the Blackwood Las Vegas, jaded by love, works at three jobs to make ends meet and pay off her ex-husband debts. Both of them are adverse to love and entanglements, one day they meet and he fires his assistant in front of Bailey and finds himslef in a jam and hires her on the spot after she found a solution to his problem. What started out as a business relationship will soon take a turn after a visit to The Wicked Horse. You will feel a deep emotional bond with the characters and their stories, that are so different yet they find a way to complete each other and find what they are both missing. This is one of the best Wicked horse story so far.i volunteered to review an arc.
Got to luv a hot billionaire.
I was looking forward to this book after meeting Declan in the last night book Wicked Secret. He is smoking hot with the rule of not getting attached. He likes his life working hard and playing harder. Life is pretty for him he has everything he needs and wants. Until Bailey comes into his life. She ends up being something that he likes and wants a lot of.
Bailey is brilliant I really like her. She hasn’t had it easy and works her backside off she never complains about it just get on with it. Even with a cheat ex husband and parents that need help she doesn’t let it get to her she just takes life day for day. Seeing Delcan Blackwood he isn’t the typical guy she would normally go for. He luvs himself and is a player something she doesn’t need. But when she gives him help with a gala that needed to be sort she found herself in a much better situation. Declan Blackwood might not be the man she thought he was.
I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it. The story flowed well and Bailey and Declan were smoking hot together. But that’s what you want when you hear the wicked horse series. It was great to see Declan changed throughout this book. He turned into this really caring guy and Bailey made him see life different. They both came from different backgrounds but by the end you wouldn’t thing it. I really enjoy this series there so easy to read and the characters are great there so worth the read.
Although I am sad this is the last book in this series, it’s definitely a case of last but not least! But then again Sawyer Bennett never disappoints!! I enjoy the taboo workplace romance trope and loved this one so much! The characters and writing have a lot to do with that!! I adore the relationship between Declan and Bailey and their story is a very entertaining sexy journey to a very satisfying HEA! Although I was definitely on Bailey’s side in the beginning with the nickname she gave Declan lol, he deserved it. I grew to love him though. I loved her from the start. She didn’t play any games or pull any punches and she is as sweet as she is adventurous and sassy. Declan is difficult, demanding and so bossy but oh so sexy and driven and impossible for Bailey to ignore. That feeling is quite mutual, so even though she works for him, they agree to one night together in his world. As you can imagine, one night was not enough, hence the story. I loved every moment from start to finish!
Most definitely my favourite in the Wicked Horse Vegas series to date, I just loved Bailey and Declan. They both brought out the best in each other. Bailey Robbins, so kind hearted, hard working and doing her best to make ends meet, all while holding down 3 jobs and caring for 2 ailing parents. Declan Blackwood, cold hearted, arrogant, super rich and only ever seeing his family when he attends board meetings. Two complete opposites. Bailey doesn’t particularly like Declan, but when he makes her an offer that’s too good to refuse, Bailey goes all in, and I mean, all in. What a truly sexy, emotional and romantic read. I loved their interactions, Bailey didn’t take any of Declan’s spoilt, do as I tell you bull§h!t, and Declan loved that Bailey put him in his place. A match made in heaven so to speak. I couldn’t get enough of these two, I just want more, more, more. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.
This might be my favorite of the Wicked Horse Vegas series. I was expecting big things from Declan’s story and I definitely got them. But Bailey was a great surprise to me. Smart, hard working and able to put Declan in his place. Being a WH book it was of course smoking hot but there was plenty of story, too. And seeing a cocky playboy fall hard is always a good time.
Hotel tycoon Declan Blackwood is a master in the boardroom and is always in complete control. When Bailey Robbins walks into his suite as a cleaning lady there is a spark that he just cannot understand. Challenging her to be his assistant for one month proves to become so much more when the two embark on an agreement to play at night at the Wicked Horse sex club. But will Declan have met his match in that Bailey can give just as much as she receives? Or will the agreement be overshadowed when emotions and a real true connection come into play? Just as with all of the books in the series, Sawyer Bennett once again creates not only wonderfully written characters but entertains the reader with every turn of the page. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas might not hold up within the chapters of this book.
Declan Blackwood is American royalty. His family owns the most luxurious hotels, and he’s next in line to take over. He knows what he wants and typically has no trouble getting it. He’s accustomed to a certain lifestyle and so far, nobody has ever made him question that, until he meets Bailey Robbins.
Bailey is a housekeeper at the Blackwood hotel is Las Vegas. She’s smart and sassy, and not at all what Declan was expecting. She intrigues him in a way that nobody has before. When he introduces her to his way of life, she surprises him even further by embracing it. The more time they spend together the more lines get blurred. They don’t fit on paper, but does that really matter?
Amazing story yet again from Sawyer Bennett. I loved Bailey, and honestly feel like she’s my favorite Wicked Horse Vegas heroine. She’s sassy and stands her ground, but she’s also sweet and loving and I adore her!! I also really enjoyed watching her bring Declan to his knees. Declan is your typical alpha, and the heat in this book was off the charts! I feel like the Wicked Horse Vegas books just keep getting better and better!
I thoroughly enjoyed Declan and Bailey’s book. The storyline kept me intrigued. I love the dynamics that Bailey and Declan have. I love that they went into this “relationship” with one frame of mind, but you could feel the shift in that frame of mind. Of course, with any Wicked book, you have those scenes that would make you blush. However, those scenes didn’t dominate the book. The storyline dominated. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger.
