Getting fired and humiliated in front of everyone at my newly acquired secretarial job at Morgan Financial Holdings wasn’t how I’d seen my day going. And then chaos—or maybe luck—ensured. I was set up on a blind date, shocked that my former boss was giving me a month’s severance, and had the perfect interview lined up. Maybe things were looking up for me after all. And although finding a man …
And although finding a man should have been on the bottom of my to-to list, I couldn’t get Jason—the uber sexy blind date—out of my head. Sexy and confident—or maybe arrogant—he had me yearning for more with just a smoldering look and a smirk of his lips.
But when a night of drinking leads to getting in bed with him and having the wildest, most intense night of my life, I didn’t know if I should ask to see him again, or do the good old walk of shame.
And it’s when I walk into my interview the next day and come face-to-face with my prospective employer that the reality of my situation sinks in.
Because there, sitting across from me with that devilish smile on his face, that knowing expression of what we’d done the night before, is the one and only Jason, my supposedly one-night stand.
Looked like my humiliation wasn’t over just yet.

Steamy boss romance that was a fire read for a quick romance story!!
When Linda loses her job, her bff sets her up on a blind date to try to make her feel better. Jason is sexy and Linda can’t believe that he’s her date. They have an instant connection and an amazing night together. What is supposed to end at a one night stand, takes a turn when Linda walks into her job interview and Jason is there. A quick and steamy office romance that you won’t want to put down.
Wicked Bedmate is a standalone story inspired by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward’s Stuck-Up Suit. It’s published as part of the Cocky Hero Club world, a series of original works written by various authors, and inspired by Keeland and Ward’s New York Times bestselling series.
This is a quick, smoking hot read. I really love Jenika Snow’s writing. The attraction between Jason and Linda is instant.
There are only certain writers I trust with this kind of Instalove. Jenika Snow is one of those.
Jason and Linda were set up on a blind date, then the next day it comes to turn out that Jason would he Linda’s new boss.
This office romance is quick, steamy and so much fun.
**I received an advance copy of this from Give Me Books on behalf of the author. I volunteered to leave an unbiased review.**
Linda was not having a great time in her life at this moment. Fired from her new job and then not being hired because she was fired from her previous job, she was not in a good frame of mind for a blind date. But then again how bad could it really be.
When she meets Jason she can’t believe her luck. He is hot, sexy and just too good to be true. The next morning she wakes up in his bed and man was that awkward as she can’t even remember if they slept together. Hangover was not a good thing especially when you have another job interview to go to. And guess who is her interview with… Jason… Who is the CFO looking for a new assistant.
Jason didn’t have time to date, but when his broker kept nagging him he eventually agrees. Not knowing that maybe this could be the women of his dreams. Only problem is that now he needs to convince her that he doesn’t give up on something on he wants, even if he is her new boss.
This was a quick, steamy alpha romance that was a fun read. I enjoyed how Jason seduced Linda that she had no choice but to give in. Finished the story in one go. Definitely a good read
This was a quick, steamy office romance that was a fun read. I enjoyed how Jason court Linda that she had no choice but to give in. I liked that he still pursued her even though there’s going to be problems. I loved how Jason knows he wants her and just go for it. It has a great balance of humor and drama.
If you want a quick, steamy office romance, this is recommended!
I love Jenika Snow books! Jason and Linda are amazing! this is office romance done right! Sweet and steamy, this is the perfect pick-me-up afternoon read! I loved everything about this book! FIVE STARS!
This was a 3.5 star read for me. It was my first Jenika Snow read and thought it would be a good jump into her writing. I had a truly hard time connecting to the characters. They seemed…unfinished? It’s hard to describe. They both seemed so superficial…we saw just the surface. I didn’t feel their connection at all. I love a good office romance generally and this wasn’t horrible…I just wanted more I guess.
This is the first book that I’ve read by this author and I didn’t know what to expect. I really enjoyed reading it and thought the story line was awesome.
Linda has just lost her job. She down and humiliated but is determined not to show her emotions in front of her now ex boss. Linda is a real good person that just says things like it is so after a taxing week and sending off more resume she goes on a blind date that her best friend set up for her and lets her hair down.
Jason is a calm, gorgeous rich man who ends up on the blind date with Linda. He can’t believe how beautiful she is and loves the fact that she doesn’t talk crap. After she passes out in his apartment drunk they don’t expect to see each other again. What neither of them knew was the interview Linda has set up Jason is the boss.
Can these two put everything aside for work or will love win through?
( NO SPOILERS).
I really enjoyed reading this book and I loved the characters especially Linda, I thought that she is definitely someone who I could get along with. Linda was quite funny in parts to which I loved and Jason is also a great character and I felt that the author written them and this story great. Some parts were a tad predictable but still a great read. I always love books that have epilogue as I feel like this adds something extra special to the story and this one was awesome. I look forward to reading more from this author the future.
This book is another great addition in the Cocky Hero Club Series and I cant wait to read the next instalment.
Thank you to the author and publishers for allowing me to read an early copy of this book.

Unintentional office romance
This book is romance at its finest. The author has filled the pages with steamy scenes that sizzle off the pages, and a romance that is going to make you swoon, plus characters that are realistic, and I was able to connect with and cheer them on during their courtship. This story is exactly what I have come to expect and enjoy from this author, it fits smoothly with the theme of a Cocky Hero and is a book in the collection that I am glad I didn’t miss. I love how Linda’s bad week turned into her HEA, especially since it wasn’t exactly smooth sailing along the way. I really enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to the next book by this author.
**3.5 stars **
I do love office romances, and this one was done very tastefully. This was my first read by this author, and I really enjoyed the characters!
After being humiliated and fired, Linda, along with the pressure of her best friend, goes on a blind date. She’s so nervous thay she starts drinking before her date shows up, only to have a wonderful time. The only problem is that she wakes up next to her blind date with no memory of what they did the night before. She does the walk of shame before her job interview, and wouldn’t you know.. the man who’s bed she just crawled out of is now her new boss.
Jason is really enamoured with Linda, which is definitely a problem for him. They are both set on not letting their personal lives get entwined with their professional one since Linda really needs this job — but you just can’t fight what is meant to be.
Overall this was a really wonderful story. I thought it was a little too rushed in my opinion, but definitely worth reading!
**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!!**
5 Stars
I admit, I am a huge fan of Ms. Snow, so when I knew she was coming out with a book in the Cocky Hero Club series I had to get it. This book is full of intense and instant passion. Jason and Linda immediately feel a connection, though they both ignore it. They are two people consumed with the career world and don’t know what do to with someone they just met who makes them few things they don’t recognize. Well, when they are thrown together, they do not have a choice but to deal with it all! What follows is a sexy alpha beast who struggles to keep things cool and smart and sexy woman who wants to make it in the city all on her own, and not risk a job that helps her to do it. Now, don’t think these two give readers what they want eight away, oh no, there is a slow burning build throughout the story but you will love how explosive these two are when they finally reach their breaking point! I did not stop reading this book from the moment I started until I read, “The End.”

4.5 Stars for Wicked Bedmate
Jenika Snow is a new author to me and one of the things I love about the Cocky Hero Club Novels is I’m getting to experience new authors and so far I have loved everything I have read and I will certainly be checking out other works by Ms Snow.
Linda and Jason meet on a blind date and it’s a night neither will forget, the attraction is instant and the chemistry is sizzling but what will happen when they come face to face in a job interview….
Linda is desperate for this job after being fired but will Jason employ someone he shared an unforgettable night with ….
This book is office romance at its best it’s hot, it has great characters with sizzling chemistry who also share some very witty banter and it has a story that you will find hard to put down. I loved Jason and his protective alpha ways and I loved Linda because she just thought he had a few crazy ways about him little did she know that she would fall for the crazy alpha male who now controls her life.
Great read and I’m looking forward to reading more by this talented author
2.5 stars
Linda is fired from her job and goes on a blind date set up by her friend. There she meets Jason and they spend a night together. Things get complicated when he turns out to be the person interviewing her for a new job.
An interesting story set up with a lot of potential. I found, though, that I didn’t connect with the characters or the writing like I had hoped. The pacing felt a bit rushed and I wonder if I might have liked it more with more time/pages for things to develop.
Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.
Wicked Bedmate is a hot office romance that has some humour and very little drama, which is perfect for a sunny afternoon sitting out in the garden with a drink of gin in one hand. I found Linda and Jason to be very likeable characters who I would’ve liked to get to know better and spent more time with. Everything pretty much fell apart for Linda at the start, but she doesn’t stay down for long and finally gets the opportunity she needs. However, will she be tempted by Jason who is determined to get what he wants after spending an unexpected pleasant evening with his new assistant.
Unfortunately, I felt the story was rushed and needed to be longer with more verbal interaction between the couple. Both spent a lot of time thinking rather than speaking and I found myself skimming over parts as the story continued because I wanted to get to the parts where they actually interacted. However, if you’re looking for a quick easy read then this is perfect for you.
