First there was pain, and now there is just… nothing. No one can ever understand the losses I’ve suffered. A solitary existence that consists of my work and the empty house that serves as a constant reminder of all I have lost. After months of paralyzing emptiness, I turn to The Wicked Horse so I can feel something. Anything, really. Any shred of emotion that will explain why I’m still here. Any … here. Any justification for why my life was spared and theirs were not.
It’s all in vain. Not even the debauchery of the notorious sex club can fill the hollowness that consumes me.
Until she walks in.
Absolutely perfect. Gorgeous and bends to my will. Gives me her body willingly, while expecting nothing more from me than the pleasure I offer her. And the more she gives, the more I find myself wanting to take.
Wanting to crawl out of my personal hell for this wicked angel.

Wicked Angel is the sixth book from the Wicked Horse Vegas series but can be read on a stand alone basis.
Wicked Angel was, as we would expect an absolute smoking hot read and Benjamin and Elena had amazing chemistry and lit up the pages. That said, Wicked Angel had some serious undertones running throughout and at times packed quite an emotional and dramatic punch. This was a really enjoyable story and I would happily recommend it!
Wicked Angel was an emotional, steamy, and enjoyable book. I wasn’t expecting Benjamin’s past and how sad all of that was, I felt so bad for him. He can be mean and rude, but it’s completely understandable with what he’s been through. I love how Elena brings out more in him and makes him reevaluate his life and how he views his past. Her caring nature and positive outlook is very good for him. They have a lot of ups and downs in their relationship, but they need to experience all of those to get where they are. I liked the tie ins to other books and past characters.

I felt this story to the bottom of my soul. Not because the story is tragic, but because circumstances in the story are devastating.
Benjamin Hewitt is lost and shattered. His past is tragic and paralyzing to his soul. He cannot feel. Elena Costieri is tired. Tired of being single with no prospects. She needs passion and adventure and wants to feel alive again!
Cue …. The Wicked Horse
The Wicked Horse provides Elena a safe space to explore her sexuality and Benjamin a place he can maybe feel once again. Neither counted on the deep connection they would forge while using each other to explore their desires.
THIS.STORY…..wow. It has been a minute since I have felt so much while reading a book. Benjamin broke me and Elena gave me hope. Their journey is a beautiful story of hope and want, growth and new beginnings, forgiveness and acceptance all wrapped up in a cloak of sensual desire! It is magnificent!
This is Benjamin and Elena’s story. Benjamin lost everything and absolutely broke my heart. He becomes a shell of himself and has distanced himself from everyone. Elena is the perfect heroine and just who Benjamin needs. Will their past prevent them from having a happily ever after? This was an emotional read but so good!!
This book has it all – wonderful characters, a good storyline, and lots of steam. Benjamin is a neurosurgeon who suffered a great tragedy that has left him with both emotional and physical wounds. He has completely shutdown and isolated himself in his grief. Elena had given up on relationships and finds herself at the Wicked Horse club. With them both wanting to avoid romantic relationships and only focus on fulfilling their fantasies, it seems that the two are the perfect match. However, what happens when you go into a no-strings-attached relationship and end up finding love instead?
I really liked Elena. She was so caring and understanding. She wasn’t easily putt off by Benjamin’s gruff exterior and she was someone who knew what she wanted inside the bedroom. My heart broke for Benjamin. He had endured so much and it was obvious that he was battling some heavy demons. The hotness factor between the two of them was off the charts. I seriously thought that my kindle was going to melt with some of those scenes! I really enjoyed watching their relationship evolve into something deeper and more meaningful.
While this book is a part of the Wicked Horse Vegas series, Wicked Angel can be read as a standalone. I have not read all of the previous books and I had no trouble following along. Because I enjoyed this book so much, I definitely plan to go back and read the rest of the series. Overall, I really enjoyed Wicked Angel – the characters were likable and well developed; the plot was good and moved at a good pace; and the sizzling chemistry between the couple was palpable.
Wicked Angel (Wicked Horse Vegas#6) by Sawyer Bennett. This book is the story of Benjamin a neurosurgeon who has suffered a great loss and Elena a young lady who has been unlucky when it comes to picking men and having a meaningful relationship. They both go to The Wicked Horse. One goes to try and feel something through sex while the other likes sex without the relationship strings. There is an app they used to hook up. There first encounter was marvelous. They definitely wanted to get together again. What started out as just sex seemed to morph into something more. One doesn’t want the prospect of dealing with a devastating loss while the other doesn’t want her knight to turn into a dud. I loved this story. I definitely went through several different emotions reading this book. And in true Sawyer Bennett style the sex was off the charts. A great balance of a really good story with hot steamy sex. A good series. Looking forward to the next book. 5 stars for me.
Benjamin Hewitt suffers an devastating accident that leaves him injured and filled with a deep loss of everything he holds dear to his heart. The only way he can make it through the day is to close himself off from all feeling, turning him into a neurosurgeon that has issues when it comes to interacting with people, which isn’t all that good for his partner and career. Realizing he must do something, he turns to the anonymous sex of the Wicked Angel, where he starts to feel some small return to feeling.
Elena Costieri likes having uncomplicated sex at the Wicked Angel, where she can indulge her desire to submit. When she has a scorchin hot night with a mysterious man, she can’t forgot just how good it was. When she happens to meet him at her best friend’s birthday party, well, things take off from there. Multiple interactions turn into something akin to dating and it isn’t long before Ben and Elena are spending lots of time together.
As Ben starts to come back to the land of the living, he’s filled with lots of feelings that he wants to run away from, which he does, leaving Elena with lots of questions about Ben’s past. It’s a good thing she’s a very patient wicked angel who understands just what Ben is going through.
Wicked Angel is a sweet story of starting a new life in the aftermath of tragedy. There’s plenty of Wicked Horse naughtiness, as I’ve come to expect from this series. It was easy to root for Ben to have some happiness in his life after what he went through, and Elena was just the person to bring him back into the light.
An easy, entertaining read.
After the horrific car accident that killed Benjamin Hewitt’s wife, April, and his daughter, Cassidy a year ago, he has been living life on automatic. Benjamin cut everyone else of importance out of his life because he truly felt if there was no one he cared about around he would never have to deal with this type of pain again. Instead Benjamin puts all of his efforts into his job as a neurologist.
In need of some female companionship, Benjamin decides to find a hookup on The Wicked Horse Vegas Fantasy app. Here he can meet up with someone without the emotions involved in a real relationship. Benjamin sets up their meeting, giving her explicit instructions….one being she has to wear a blindfold. What Benjamin thought would just be a fun, sexy time with a cute redhead, turns into something a little more than he was expecting.
Elena Costieri only goes to The Wicked Horse Vegas a few times a month. She may own her own beauty shop, but she doesn’t have that kind of money. Elena enjoys having hookups without the emotions involved. She is tired of finding loser guys who want her to support them. When Elena decides to answer a hookup request on The Wicked Horse Vegas Fantasy app, she didn’t expect to have her world blown away. Not knowing who this secret man is because she had on a blindfold, she is left a little disappointed.
Imagine Benjamin’s surprise when at a party he sees the mysterious redhead that he cannot get off of his mind. One thing leads to another and they quickly hook back up at The Wicked Horse Vegas. Even though they both want to keep things between only sexual in nature, emotions start becoming involved. It is going to take a whole lot of soul searching for Benjamin to face his past fears and realize that Elena means a lot more to him than just someone to hookup with.
I really enjoyed both Benjamin and Elena. Benjamin really was dealt a low blow. I cannot even imagine having to handle the losses he went through, and Elena seemed like just the perfect person to help. The story these two went through was filled with lots of emotions, sexy time, as well as funny times. Overall it was a great story and a perfect happy ending!
Another winner from Sawyer Bennett, and one of my favorite in the Wicked series. I loved seeing the way Elena owned her true self and used that to help Benjamin. It was full of heat and emotion.
Holy Hotness Batman – 4.5 Stars
I loved Wicked Angel! Of all the books Ms Bennett has set in a sex club this is by far the hottest and Elena is the reason why.
Elena is sophisticated and open to explore her sexuality and because of this the Wicked Horse scenes are some of the steamiest and empowering ones written.
Add in a broken and sexy hero along with brilliant writing and Wicked Angel is practically perfect.
**ARC provided for an honest review.**
How do you go on after so much as been taken from you? This is Benjamin’s reality, his life has been hit with such an intense loss that there is no light at the end of the rainbow any longer and he just cuts everyone out. He works and even that has gotten to a point where he’s become nasty and curt with his partner, co-workers, and sometimes his patients families as well. He needs to start feeling again before he looses that too. So he turns to the new Wicked Horse Vegas Fantasy App which pairs you up with someone who has the same interests as you.
Elena is tired of men using her, she doesn’t need a man in her life to fulfill her sexual desires, that’s what the Wicked Horse is for. Thanks to her friend, Jorie (Wicked Wish ) she has a special pass that she gets to go twice a month.
The chemistry between Benjamin and Elena is through the roof, Benjamin wants control and Elena wants to give up control for the night so it’s perfect. The things they do make their bodies sing, mmmmm, but they also get into the other person’s head which wasn’t what either of them wanted. No strings, no relationship, just sex. Well, that’s easier said then done now isn’t it.
I highly recommend this entire series to anyone that enjoys reading BDSM. Each book can be read as a standalone and I promise even though Elena’s friend Jorie shows up quite a bit in this book you do not need to know her story to enjoy this one, but I would say you should read it anyway because it was really good!
Happy Reading!!!
Wicked Angel brings us back to the world of Wicked Horse Las Vegas… sort of. While the club is the setting that brings Benjamin and Elena together, very little of the book actually takes place there.
Elena is the best friend of Jorie from the second book in the series (Wicked Wish). She has not had good luck in the dating scene over the past few years with a string of co-dependent losers, but she loves sex so occasional visits to the Wicked Horse have been her go-to lately as she can afford it. Eventually she would love to have the house and kids that most people dream of, but for now she is willing to settle for some really hot no strings fun instead.
Benjamin is struggling in a big way. Over the past year he has closed himself off from friends and family in an effort to cope with devastating loss. He has learned to push down the pain but it has come at the expense of all feeling. He has simply lost the will to care about much of anything anymore, and it is starting to worry him. He turns to the club in the hopes that something or someone will spark a response in him, but he is not prepared for Elena. What starts as no strings evolves into something much more in a way that neither expected, and it scares the heck out of both of them.
Elena is strong, independent and funny, and she is not afraid to ask the hard questions or go after what she wants. I have to say I really loved her character! It took me a long time to warm up to Benjamin just because he was so one dimensional and closed off for so long, but eventually I mostly liked him by the time the story was over. His reason for being the way he is at the start of the book is heartbreaking so I get it- but it was still a bit difficult to connect with him. When it comes to chemistry-that was off the charts right along with the steam factor so kudos to the author for making me become invested in the characters despite my reservations! In terms of supporting characters: Elena’s mom brought a smile to my face on more than one occasion. As for Jorie- well, I didn’t love her in her own book and I really could have lived without her in this one but I suppose she had to be included to a certain extent based on her relationship with Elena. And it was nice to get a glimpse of some of the other Wicked Horse and Jameson Security folks too. All in all, Wicked Angel was a great quick read with a healthy dose of steam and heart!
Benjamin and Elena are my favorite couple so far in this series. They both are broken and their journey just touched my heart. This book kept me wondering what was going to happen. This story was so heartbreaking at times and I wanted to knock Benjamin upside the head a few times. I wasn’t sure if they were going to get their HEA. Of course its hot! I loved it
Wonderful characters in a story full of heat and emotion
I usually save my conclusions for the end of my review, but I’m just going to flat out say it: I absolutely loved this story and think it’s the best Wicked Horse book yet! In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if this ends up on my list of favorite reads for the year. Book 6, while there are some character crossovers from earlier in the series, and of course, the Wicked Horse club itself, you can easily read this as a standalone.
I’m such a sucker for damaged characters, and Benjamin is a perfect example. We know pretty much from the start that the loss of his wife and daughter have moved him to push everyone away so he can’t be hurt again. Yet, at some level, he knows he still needs to feel, and has resorted to hooking up at the Wicked Horse to feel something without making the deep connections that risk his being hurt so badly ever again. Elena has decided to stop looking for anything more after being used by too many men, so she and Benjamin are in complete agreement about what they want and don’t want, in spite of the fact that the connection they have is like nothing either has ever experienced before. Elena’s such a strong character and so unapologetic about her desires and needs, and I love and admire the way she faces things head on, and forces Benjamin to do the same.
One comment about the storyline: I’m super leery about religion in books as I have strong opinions of my own, but with Benjamin’s loss, the discussion about God makes complete sense in terms of the plot, and it’s handled very deftly and sensitively by the author, with Benjamin as a doubter and Elena as a person of faith. I’d call it a minor but important plot point, not taking up a lot of space in the storyline, and about as far away from heavy-handed as you can get, but something that adds some lovely depth to both characters so please don’t let it scare you away.
As a long time fan of the author and this series, I loved getting to touch base with Walsh and Jorie again, and there were a few new characters around as well. Benjamin’s partner had a nice part to play in helping him get back on track, while both Benjamin and Elena’s mothers had small roles to play as well, and August was perfect as another Wicked Horse member (I laughed hard at Benjamin’s Alpha reaction to him, lol)—here’s hoping his story will be up next.
Wonderful characters in a story full of heat and emotion, my favorite Wicked Horse story yet. 5+ stars

Another fab read from this author. Loved Benjamin and Elena!
“I don’t even know her name, but I know she’s broken something open.”
Benjamin is a broken man. He goes day-to-day, performing his job, existing in guilt, wishing it would all end. He frequents the Wicked Horse sex club for the sole purpose of feeling something. When he meets Elena via a new WH hookup app, he’s suddenly feeling all sorts of things – lust, possessiveness, tenderness. But is he quite ready for all the pain that comes with it?
“I want to bring out the animal in this man. Revel in it.”
Elena enjoys exploring her sexuality freely at the Vegas sex club. She’s works all the time and has little time for relationships, especially with men who treat her like she’s their mother. Meeting Benjamin, spending time with him, submitting to him, has her unexpectedly invested in him.
I absolutely loved this story! It was hot and dirty, yet heartfelt and life-affirming. Benjamin is a broken alpha. His life is all darkness. Elena stirs him up more than any woman ever has. I loved how alive she made him feel. I loved that his natural instincts and desires fought through his fears. Elena is practical, confident and genuine. I loved her manner and her approach to dealing with Benjamin. She was a woman who knew her own worth. These two together were gorgeous!
Wickedly, Mesmerizing! Absolutely stunning! This book was a wonderful, heartwarming, emotional romance, that brought these two lost and broken characters together. So expertly written and so beautifully done.
Ben Hewitt is lost to his pain and grief and needs an escape from his regular life. Through the Wicked Horse app, he connects with Elena. Trying to protect their hearts from any more pain, their relationship centers around mutual sexual gratification. What they don’t count on is their connection, their heat, their off the charts, sizzling, chemistry and the vulnerability that their level of intimacy brings. Will these two step away, before their heart gets involved? Or will their heart find love once again? Can’t get enough of Ms. Bennett’s stories.
I received a free early copy for my honest opinion.
Wicked Angel is the 6th book in the Wicked Horse Vegas Series. If you haven’t started reading this series these books can be read as standalones. But why would you just read one! Wicked Horse Vegas Series is a MUST read!
This is my FAVORITE book out of this series! Wicked Angel gave me all the feels. Sawyer Bennett had me laughing and crying while reading it!
This is Benjamin Hewitt and Elena’s story. Benjamin was still grieving his wife & child’s death. He was becoming obnoxious while dealing with her death. He is a Neurosurgeon and could still do his job but he had NO bedside manners for anyone.
Elena meets Benjamin at The Wicked Horse. She has the worst luck when it comes to choosing a man. She is at The Wicked Horse just for the sex and so is Benjamin.
This is a very sexy book. Benjamin is very much an alpha and could be an A** although he can be charming too. Like when he and Elena got caught by Elena’s mother.
Bravo, Bravo Sawyer Bennett
4 Stars!
Benjamin Hewitt is a gorgeous 36 yr. old renowned neurosurgeon living in Vegas. Over a year ago he suffered a tragic loss, and now he’s only a shell of his former self. He’s closed off, consumed by pain, and barely existing. He keeps attachments to a minimum, and his career is now his life. After feeling empty for so many months, he finally decides to join the Wicked Horse in hopes of feeling something again. He’s void of emotion, and nothing excites him anymore. Then she walks in, and captures his attention. She provides him with an escape from his reality, and bends to his will. She wants nothing but the incredible pleasure he can give her.
Elena Costieri is a beautiful single woman who is tired of the dating scene, and never finding her Mr. Right. After a long string of Mr. Wrong’s, she decides to have some fun and explore a different side of herself at the Wicked Horse. She wants to unwind and is ready to give up control, and put it in someone else’s hands. Meet a delicious stranger, and experience sexual freedom without the confines of a committed relationship. She hits the jackpot when she has an unforgettable encounter with a mysterious, intense, unbelievably sexy man. She’s never felt this kind of desire, and he intrigues her. Their chemistry is off the charts hot, and she just wants more of him.
Soon Benjamin and Elena are both addicted to one another, and lines get blurred as their time together becomes more complicated. As their connection grows, she starts to occupy too many of his thoughts, and makes him feel more than he thinks he’s ready for. He feels vulnerable again and it’s terrifying. Convinced he’s broken, and has nothing left to give, will Benjamin let the best thing that’s ever happened to him slip away, or will he open his heart, and risk it all for love?
Wicked Angel (Wicked Horse Vegas #6) by Sawyer Bennett is an emotional, steamy, heartbreakingly beautiful story about love, hope, second chances, and new beginnings. It’s packed with some serious heat, but also hits you in all the feels. I really enjoyed this book, and love this series. I can’t wait for the next one!
This Wicked Horse book is in my opinion tamer than some of the others. That being said, I loved it. I loved the story behind Elena and Benjamin. Benjamin needed Elena in his life to just let go of his tragic past. There is a lot of push and pull in the book with Benjamin just being human, and I feel like you will love Elena’s never give up qualities. The book still packs a lot of heat even with the tamer side. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger.
