Things are about to get Wicked in New Orleans.
Twenty-two year old Ivy Morgan isn’t your average college student. She, and others like her, know humans aren’t the only thing trolling the French Quarter for fun… and for food. Her duty to the Order is her life. After all, four years ago, she lost everything at the hands of the creatures she’d sworn to hunt, tearing her world and her heart apart. … heart apart.
Ren Owens is the last person Ivy expected to enter her rigidly controlled life. He’s six feet and three inches of temptation and swoon-inducing charm. With forest-green eyes and a smile that’s surely left a stream of broken hearts in its wake, he has an uncanny, almost unnatural ability to make her yearn for everything he has to offer. But letting him in is as dangerous as hunting the cold-blooded killers stalking the streets. Losing the boy she loved once before had nearly destroyed her, but the sparking tension that grows between them becomes impossible for Ivy to deny. Deep down, she wants… she needs more than what her duty demands of her, what her past has shaped for her.
But as Ivy grows closer to Ren, she realizes she’s not the only one carrying secrets that could shatter the frail bond between them. There’s something he’s not telling her, and one thing is for certain. She’s no longer sure what is more dangerous to her — the ancient beings threatening to take over the town or the man demanding to lay claim to her heart and her soul.

Wicked good! Actually, it was great! I love Ivy’s tough, yet vulnerable spirit and how she never gives up. Ren is her perfect match. A fantastic, action-packed fantasy adventure.
This book is really wicked and I loved it. It has great characters, especially hot throb Ren. Jennifer kept me captivated throughout the whole book. I loved the story line and I can’t wait to read the next book.
“I’ve been fooled by a Winchester wannabe. (…) There is no way to save face. I shall off myself now.”
This book actually sat on my shelf for awhile before I ever got around to reading it and I’m not quite sure why. Although I will say that it was nice to realize that I hadn’t actually already plowed through all of Jennifer Armentrout’s books and …
Passionflix adapted Wicked in Jennifer L. Armentrout’s Wicked Trilogy books into a movie recently. It’s a big issue of mine if I don’t read the book first. Thankfully, I read the book in less than three days and watched the movie right after I finished it. (I could’ve finished the book in one day, but life has been busy for this Book Lovin’ Mama.) …
I had heard of this book but with so many books on my TBR I left it off on the side to read ….. someday…. well I saw that the book was picked up by Passionflix to be created as a movie and I knew I had to get it read before I watched it.
I am so mad at myself for waiting for so long to read this series. I am hooked and will be binging through …
Just finished the audibook and I’m hooked! Can’t wait to start the nextbook – highly recommend!

: Wicked
: A Wicked Trilogy #1
: Jennifer L. Armentrout
: 4.5/5
Oh how I loved this book! Beware this is not an YA book and it does have some smut. I always like kick ass characters and Ivy is one of those characters. Ren was of course dreamy and I loved that he drives …
Jen’s typical formula. A little bit copy and paste of the things she has already written within a different setting… But Tink made this so enjoyable. I laughed out loud a billion times and I am not going to lie to myself and say I’m not excited for the passionflix movie that’s coming out for this book.
The good thing about Jen’s formula is …
I’ve wanted to read the Wicked trilogy for quite some time. Since I’m on a mission to read more of Jennifer L. Armentrout’s books and have been seeing exciting things about the movie, I thought now was the time to dive in.
I listened to Wicked on audiobook. Although Amy Landon narrated the book well, I wonder if I might have enjoyed it more had I …
I just have one word for this book… WOW.
Wicked is amazing it has the perfect amount of action, romance, angst. I absolutely love it.
The main characters are perfect. Ivy has personality, she’s a badass but just like anyone she has fears and regrets in her life that color the way she see things.
Ren is hawt, there’s no humble bone in his body …
This is one of the few JLA series I have never read. It hasn’t grabbed me like her other series have, but I still am enjoying it.
Ren is pretty cool, and all, but he’s no Damien or Roth or Hawke.
That pretty much says it all. Onto book two.
I still stand by what I say pretty much every time that I read a book by Jennifer L. Armentrout, I will read anything she writes.
I absolutely loved Wicked. I was immediately drawn in from page one. The characters and humor yet again was on point, as it always is with a JLA book. I loved Ivy so much. Jennifer always writes the most amazing and …
I listened to the audible version of this story and it was good. It left me wanting to listen to the next book in the series. This paranormal read has action, romance, it’s steamy, funny, a bit predictable and slow at times but it has great characters and I enjoyed them. I loved Ren, liked Ivy and Val and enjoyed Tink. Ren was sweet, caring, sexy …
I really loved this book. I could read it over and over again. I felt like I was part of the story. I couldn’t put it down.
Loved it and it’s going to be made into a movie xx
Jenn announced today that the Wicked Trilogy is finally starting the filming process to appear on PassionFlix. I highly recommend this book, especially before it comes to the screen. This book was highly entertaining, funny, at times tense and a little scary, it’s a must read.
I’m going to go with 4.5 stars on this one. It was my first Jennifer Armentrout book and I really enjoyed it. I don’t typically do fantasy but have been coming around to it more lately. I loved Ivy from the beginning and I also loved Ren. Ren is one of those heroes that I wish for in every book. Tink made me laugh and lightened things up for me …
I’m just gonna come out and say that I thought most of Wicked was just ok. The main character Ivy was annoying throughout the first maybe half of this book. It made it very hard to enjoy because her inner monologue was getting on my nerves. I will say by the end of this book I actually liked the story a lot. I think the tempo of the story and how …
I downloaded this book to my ereader without any knowledge about what it was about, and I was very happily surprised. (back story: I typed WICKED–I’d just seen the musical–into my search bar, and I recognized the author’s name as one I’d been wanting to read, and I one-clicked.) The reason I say “happily surprised” is because I’m not that versed …
JLA was one the authors I found after diving more into romance and YA paranormal and she has quickly become an author that I’ll always buy books from. From everything she has written, I’ve loved her paranormal and sci-fi series the most and Wicked tops as one of my favorite series.
In Wicked we’ve got a new world to discover dealing with fae, …
