Susan Mallery welcomes you to Happily Inc, where true love isn’t just for fairy tales… Natalie Kaleta will do anything for the artists at her gallery, including risk life, limb and the effect of humidity on her naturally curly hair. Braving a downpour to check on reclusive Ronan Mitchell, Natalie gets stranded by a mudslide at his mountain home, where the brooding glass artist reveals his … reveals his playful side, sending her inconvenient crush from under-the-radar to over-the-top.
After a secret tore apart his family and made him question his sense of self, Ronan fled his hometown for Happily Inc, but the sunny small town can’t fix his damaged heart. He won’t give in to his attraction for beautiful, perpetually cheerful Natalie. She’s untouched by darkness–or so he thinks.
Natalie knows that when a heart goes through the flame, it comes out stronger. Life may not be a fairy tale, but sometimes dreams do come true. Why not this one? Why not tonight?

A continuation of family from Fool’s Gold and new characters from Happily, Inc. brings new story lines for interest and good stories. I like the focus on the women: their friendships, their challenges and hopes for the future. The do not let problems keep them down, they persevere to reach the future they want. I like stories of women achieving.
I fell in love with the Happily Inc series since reading the first page of You Say it First! I’ve been waiting kind of impatiently for Ronan and Natalie’s story as their romance has been hinted at throughout the series! As always, Susan Mallery takes my favorite ship in the series and blows me away. Ronan and Natalie are a perfect match. Natalie’s bright light balances Ronan’s broodiness. I love how she calls him on his crap! She doesn’t let him get away with anything and it’s SO refreshing! Ronan truly knows what he has with Natalie and treats her like a queen and it’s awesome!
Without giving too much away I want to say if you enjoy a magical small town romance that gives you hope in redemption I highly recommend reading Why Not Tonight!
The chronicles of the Mitchell brothers continues with Ronan’s story. The youngest and only unmarried brother. When his father destroyed his world, by telling him that he was not Mathias’s fraternal twin, but his half brother, the product of an affair. He left Fool’s Gold for Happily Inc and Mathias and then Nick followed him. He is so angry at Elaine for lying to him (by omission) that he tosses away all the love that she had showered on him his whole life. He has fallen so deep into a funk that he can no longer create. After no word from him in a week, Natalie Kaleta, the part time office manager, is sent up to check on him in his mountain top home, but instead of using the trucks that Ronan’s brothers offer he, she uses her 25 year old Volvo, which barely makes it there. She ends up trapped there in a storm and her car gets washed away. But she has such a sunny personality that it is contagious, and they have a good time with each other until the road clears. Natalie’s one desire is to have a family and she can not understand Ronan, having the one thing she desires and throwing it away. His biggest fear is that he will become his father, and it does not even occur to him that all his brothers are good men who have married and are very happy.
As always, the author creates appealing, yet intriguing characters and difficult situations. However, there is a pattern in most of the books that as soon as the h reveals that she loves the H, he runs away screaming like a cartoon character.
Wow, just Wow…This is the best book in this series yet and I have to say that they all have been good. The intensity could be felt through the entire book from beginning to end. Natalie is such a strong person and she knows how to put Ronan in his place, Go Natalie! Aside from being intense it is also fun all the way through. Looking forward to see what happens in the future with the new character that was introduced…Thank you Susan
I love Susan’s Happily, Inc. series.
This book was pretty good. I’m only giving 3 stars cause I didn’t like the characters personally. Natalie was a little annoying to me but I did agree with her about her view of Ronin and his mom. If you haven’t read his brothers books and Fools Gold you might be a little behind. I did like the developing love between the two but was a little predictable. All in all it was an easy love story to read and I would recommend.
This is the third in the Happily Inc series by Susan Mallery. A great story filled with wonderful characters and a town that is very unique. Ronan Mitchell has removed himself from his family after a secret made him question who he is. Along comes Natalie checking on him for his brothers and the art gallery after he doesn’t answer his phone. I laughed, cried and didn’t want to put the book down. In the end, there is a happy ending, but Susan Mallery makes you think about family, friends and how your life can change for the better. Looking forward to the next one in the series.
Finally Ronan and Natalie have a story. This is a wonderful HEA story. Love how the other Mitchell brothers support them and encourage their happily ever after. Thanks to Natalie, Ronan finally get his head out of the sand and starts to interact with his family again. I have read all Happily Inc and just like the rest this one didn’t disappoint.
Totally delightful romance!
I enjoyed this—engaging characters and I love the quirky world of the small town that Susan Mallery has created. Love those sexy, brooding artist brothers : )
This book captured me from the very beginning! As usual Susan Mallery didn’t disappoint. If you love love stories with twists, turns, and excitement, pick this one up! I can’t wait for the next book to see what Natalie and Ronan are up to. I loved her Fools Gold series, but I may end up liking the Happily Inc series even more–if that’s even possible!
Susan Mallory did it again. Another great book in her Happily, Inc. series.
Susan Mallery is one of my favorite authors. I enjoy her light-hearted romance stories that I know will always end happily. That does not mean to imply that there are not serious situations involved in the plot. The two main characters in this book were both dealing with family related situations. Natalie’s mother had recently died and everyone knows how difficult it is to lose a loved one. Added to losing her mom, was the fact that her mom was her entire family base. She was dealing with finding her own way to fit in and have a new family one day. Natalie has a open and loving personality and it was a joy to read about how she was adjusting with an open heart.
Ronan recently found out that he was adopted and it came as a shock and he was not adjusting well at all. When Natalie enters his life and they become more than just the friends they were previously, she helps him grow and find a way to become whole again.
As always Susan Malley is a master of creating in-depth characters, towns and plots. The story immediately grabs your attention and does not let you go until you have finished the book.
Another mega-adorable addition to the Happily Inc series!
It was sweet and funny and a little heartbreaking.
I just adored Ronan and Natalie.
Natalie is this super happy, always-dancing-in-place-from-the-sheer-joy-of-life kind of person.
And Ronan – he’s basically the total opposite.
But they just fit. Perfectly.
It takes him a little while to get over everything in his past – but the reader has an amazing witnessing that journey.
I JUST LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!
If I had to complain about something? It was mayyybe a tiiiny little bit too long. The middle part was a bit slowish – but I still absolutely adored reading it!
Why Not Tonight is Book 3 in the Happily Inc series. I loved the romance between Ronan and Natalie. We see the man with a big chip on his shoulders and the girl filled with optimism. Those 2 differing characteristics made for an entertaining story. Loved seeing characters from previous books in this one. You do not have to read the previous books to enjoy this books but helps with some of the background. This is a 5 star read. Can’t wait to read what else comes from this little town.
This is a wonderful book loved the characters and the story. Susan Mallery is by far the best writer of wonderful books everyone will enjoy and reread many times
Love all of Susan Mallery books. I love following characters in multiple books.
I enjoy the Happily Inc books.
Prefer the Fool’s Gold books.
Why Not Tonight is the book I’ve been waiting for. I love the Happily Inc. Series. We get to delve deeper into what make Ronan Mitchell tick, and it’s so much FUN! Add in Natalie Kaleta, and you have the perfect mix of cheerfulness with Ronan’s gruffness. I volunteered to review an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
