If you believe in romance . . . I don’t want to know his full name. I don’t even want his phone number. In fact, the only thing I want from Jude is the filthy hot sex the masterful hung stud delivers on a weekly basis. He’s way too young for me . . . and much too good at fulfilling my every dirty desire. He definitely isn’t supposed to show up one morning on my doorstep with an offer I can’t … one morning on my doorstep with an offer I can’t refuse.
Now he’s in my life on a daily basis, and I can’t shake him no matter how hard I try.
He’s absolutely unsuitable.
She’s everything he knew he wanted from the first moment he saw her.
A book full of filthy sex and beautiful tortured romance. Why Him? is a standalone novel with a tear-worthy HEA, no cheating, no cliffhangers, just all yes. Keep the fan handy, you’ll need it.

Hot!
What an interesting plot line!!! I loved the way they meet. Hot younger man, sexy mature woman. No last names exchanged – just hot sex once a week. Annnnd then we get a glimpse of her real life. Cady is a single mom of 3 boys and a successful divorce attorney looking for a nanny to help her with her boys. Who shows up at her door but her weekly hook up, Jude – sent by her son’s football coach. You have the typical boy shenanigans, frazzled mom and a man who gets along great with her boys. Cady lets their age difference get in the way before realizing what a gem Jude really is. I loved meeting Rawls, Jude’s dad and Joelle, Cady’s paralegal. Both provided an interesting and fun backdrop to the relationship. As always Rie has written another great story and I can’t wait for her next one!
Loved it! So funny!
5 Smoking Hot Stars!!!
Rie Warren continues writing books that I fall in love with after another. This is the first book in her Mistaken Identities series. I was so into it that I read it in one afternoon.
Cady is newly divorced and she’s the mother of three active teenage boys. She’s a mother first and lawyer second. Cady rarely does anything for herself. Until Jude walked into her life.
She gave Jude a fake name and nothing else except her body. They meet once a week and they loose themselves. Cady knows she’s a few years older then him. But, the way he works her body in ways no man has ever before is beyond her wildest dreams. Cady knows their weekly dates can’t last forever but she’ll enjoy it as long as she can.
But, when he showed up at her door one morning from the boys football coach to help her, Cady knows their times come to an end.
Cady is unlike any woman Jude’s ever met. He knows she’s strict about the rules that they originally made. So for now he’ll play by her rules.
Jude still getting use to not being able to play football after his injury. He moved back home to help take care of his father. When his old coach asks him to help one of the mothers with her sons Jude figures why not.
Jude was shocked when Cady opened the door the day after their weekly date. Jude definitely liked seeing her frazzled and not in complete control like she always is. Jude knows there’s a reason why this is happening.
Cady agreed to let Jude help with the boys. The boys like and listen to him. But, she lets him know their weekly get together are over. Jude just laughs it off. Bc, he’s not letting Cady go. She might think she’s too old for him and have too much baggage for him. But, Jude doesn’t care. As long as he has Cady and her sons he’s happy. So, he’ll play her game but only for a little while.
These two were hot!!! I mean I was sitting outside in 90 degree weather and I wasn’t hit from the sun belting down on me. It was from Jude and Cady. I also loved seeing some of the folks from Rie’s Bad Boy Ballers series. You must one click this. You won’t regret it!!
It was an interesting way for Cady and Jude to meet, by having a hook up once a week with no questions or personal information exchange. This was great for Cady since she was an independent, hardworking, single mother of three and divorce under her belt. By the hook up with Jude she could forget her reality and have the me time of being pleasure by very talented Jude and not worry about any strings attached. It all came crashing down when Jude shows up on her front porch one morning while she was getting her family ready for the day. Jude was as shock as Cady when she opens the door and he was standing there. Jude knows in an instant that he wanted Cady more than the one night a week hook ups. He doesn’t care about her extra baggage or their age difference. She is too stubborn that she may lose best thing that could happen to her family, since she is hung up on the age difference. You will not be disappointed in this book, grab a copy to find out if Jude gets what he wants and if Cady can let the age difference go and enjoy life. I won an ARC from Goodreads and happy I got a chance to ready Cady and Jude’s story.

My Review:
Oh, my… This couple was deliciously naughty and with explosive sensual chemistry, I felt sorry for the ladies working housekeeping in the hotel they frequented as I’m sure their room required steam cleaning and their linens could only be tossed upon their exit. The writing was salaciously scandalous and occasionally went a bit past my comfort zone for eewwww with the body fluids, while their activities were punctuated with the filthiest of bawdy talk, OMG, I couldn’t read fast enough, err, I mean, for review and research purposes, of course… hmmm. Yep, that’s it… All right, I will confess to experiencing a sharp increase in respirations while reading, as well as frequent gasping for breath, elevated heart rate, and an uptick in my laundry needs.
Rie Warren left me breathless! While the storyline was highly lascivious, there was also a highly amusing family drama as well as a sweet romance building between decidedly endearing characters. The story was original, easy to follow and smirk-worthy and enjoyable, despite the lubricity and sticky residue. And I learned a new word – fapping – what the boys used to call spanking the monkey in my highly sheltered youth.
This is a wonderfully written story about a younger man / older woman scenario. These two have a once a week arrangement, where no names are exchanged, and no strings attached. That is until their worlds collide when Cade is looking for a nanny and Jude arrives at the door. This talented author has written a fantastic storyline, which is emotional, humorous, and thoroughly entertaining. I cannot wait to read more in this captivating series, and highly recommend this talented authors’ work for all readers.
If you are in the market for a very hot, steamy read, look no further than Why Him by Rie Warren. A May December romance that hooked me right from the start. Cady was not looking for romance or a relationship, been there, done that as they say. She was looking to scratch that itch. Jude was younger and seemed to know his way around. He was just what the doctor ordered and was most likely just looking for a steamy encounter as well. The results of this chance encounter will knock your socks off. Amazingly sensual read you won’t want to miss! Oh it has all the “feels” as well.

Why Him is one hell of a steamy, hot book! The premise of the story sounded intriguing and it is definitely was worth reading!
Anonymous hook up, no strings attached, but when their worlds collide…
Jude and Cady had amazing chemistry even if she wasn’t willing to let him completely in. He is a great guy, good with her kids but all she can focus on is why would a younger hot guy want an older women with three kids? Jude had his work cut out for him trying to convince her otherwise.
HOLY SMOKES Rie Warren is back and with a vengeance!
Is it hot in here? No? Just me? Damn I think I need an ice cold shower, Why Him? is hotter than hot!
Why Him? is oh so sexy and erotic. Ms. Warren certainly knows how to craft a ridiculously dirty and contemporary story.
As usual Rie Warren puts her own unique stamp on a an over utilized trope… the May-December, older woman-younger man… whatever you want to call it trope is usually campy and predictable but Ms. Warren has crafted a distinct and engaging story.
I don’t want to give anything away but Why Him? has it all, a little bit of comedy, a touch of angst and whole lot of sexy!
Five Sexy Stars to Why Him? and Rie Warren!
I really enjoyed Stevie and Kane. They had this chemistry that I get from their first meeting and let bed the struggle that they had to keep things business. Stevie was the yang to Kane’s ying and the banter between the two was great. I’m really hoping that there will be a book about Stevie’s brother and best friend. I see something brewing there. The other secondary characters really helped the story progress and added a great dynamic and witty banter to the story.
Like with the first book I wish the author had added some sort of epilogue. Yes they get a HEA but it felt unfinished. When it comes to the drama aspect of the book (I don’t want to give spoilers) but felt like that was also unfinished. I wanted to really see some kind of justice. Maybe in another book with the BF and brother? Maybe?
Overall it was a cute steamy read that I did enjoy. This author has a way with banter and these age difference type novels. I can say I’m hooked on this series. I can’t wait for more. 4 stars #2OCCJD

3.5 stars of fun fantasy romance
This is a fun story, with the mysterious start, the unexpected meeting, and the mission to make it permanent. I enjoy Ms. Warren’s style, which is usually no holds barred, with plenty of humour, super-hot encounters, and larger than life characters. In this book we also have the benefit of the children, who are perfect at adding the aww, as well as the giggles.
I think this is perfect escapism, especially for any single mum who needs a break from dirty laundry, school runs, and work pressures. Cady doesn’t have it that hard, as she is clearly successful and can make ends meet, but meeting Jude leads to more than she ever, ever thought she could have, or even want!
I am looking forward to the next book in the series – apparently each is a standalone.

Why Him? is the first book in the Mistaken Identities series.
Cady is just coming out of a divorce. She has custody of her three teenage boys, whose lives have been interrupted enough but she still has needs. What happens as a chance meeting at a bar turns into a regular Thursday night thing. There were no names exchanged, no personal details shared, just a night of passion.
When coach asks Jude to help out a friend who needs help watching her boys, he figures he has nothing better to do since he can’t play football anymore after a career ending injury. When he gets to the house, he’s surprised by who he finds. Can fate really be playing a part in his life?
Can Cady and Jude keep the attraction they have between them from her sons? Can she get over the fact that Jude is younger than her? Can Jude make her see she needs him in her life?
The story is definitely sex heavy in the beginning, but as you continue with the story you see why it was written that way. Cady and Jude are combustible when they get together and Jude has a swoon worthy moment or two that draws you in.
I enjoyed it and am interested in seeing where the rest of this series goes!

This is a book for exhausted single mums everywhere. True – it is a completely implausible fantasy read – but it does kinda tick off about a dozen mid-life fantasies in a single read. Anonymous hook-up with a hot younger man? Gorgeous manny who takes over domestic duties? Being pursued by a sexy professional sportsman? The relationship between Cady and Jude isn’t just a cliché – it is the embodiment of every working mother’s fanciful daydreams.
While this was a fun read and I’m sure it was never supposed to be taken too seriously, parts of it gave me reader whiplash. The story starts with a scene that can only be described as crazy explicit erotica – and then we get sex-free domestic drama for the next hundred pages. It is an odd mix and it doesn’t quite work. The first hook-up scene was a huge turnoff for me and if I hadn’t committed to reviewing this as an ARC, I might have given up on the book.
The charm in this book is Jude as an unbelievably perfect fantasy man. There are several laugh out loud moments as he worms his way into Cady’s affections by working as her manny. Cady’s kids are funny and Jude’s double life as a household name sportsman and child care provider is amusing. For me, Cady is a little bit too neurotic and a little bit too perfect to be endearing. If this book is everywoman’s fantasy, the successful lawyer with Amal Clooney’s body and wardrobe doesn’t really resonate as a character most women can easily relate to. In an otherwise fluffy read, Cady’s hang-ups about Jude’s age feel whiny and pointlessly angsty.
This is sugary sweet entertainment. I can relate to the fantasies and I fell hard for Jude. It’s a fantasy escape from the everyday and I enjoyed it.

I enjoyed the book, but Cady’s constant issue with Jude’s age got to be really old, really quick. She’s a self-confident woman, knows what she wants and goes for it. Except she thinks that Jude, at 26, doesn’t know what he wants.
Jude is patient as any saint. He has strong feelings for Cady and does his best to show her just how much she means to him. He adores Cady and her children, and Jude has demonstrated nothing but honor and integrity towards her and everyone else.
It was a nice evening read and the heat level is off the charts.
