This book was the perfect rainy day read. It was sad, sweet, and utterly perfect. I absolutely loved Lulu and how passionate she was with her cooking. I could just taste all that amazing food on the tip of my tongue. At the same time my heart hurt for her. She just wanted to find that one perfect person only to be hurt twice by one of the people she loved the most. Cue in Xander. This man was amazing. He was kind, caring, and a great cook. He was also perfect for Lulu. The way these two could easily talk to each other… I just loved reading their conversations. They could easily talk to each other about anything. And don’t get me started on how they so easily ribbed each other. Lulu’s pepper prank was awesome!! I admit I was a little concerned about the show at first. I loved how it flowed and that Lulu wasn’t pushed to the side. I loved how these two were with each other once their stopped fight their feelings. I’m glad they found each other! That ending though… I very much need Stella’s book. I need to see these sisters reunited again! I already miss Calamity Falls and cannot wait to go back.
