It only took one strike. The moment I saw Bryce Cardiff step up to the mound, I knew he was the man I wanted to marry. Something about the way he held himself, the way his eye caught mine made sure I was a goner. Problem was, he was off limits to me. As the owner’s daughter, I wasn’t allowed to mingle with the players. But then we ran into each other in the stairwell, and…we couldn’t help … couldn’t help ourselves.
Secret meetups.
Hidden moments.
We were spiraling into each other faster than Bryce’s world record fastball.
But we were found out.
In an instant, everything changed.
Now we’re on the run.
All we want is each other.
All baseball wants is their prized pitcher and their little princess back under the owner’s thumb.
I don’t know how we’re going to stop them from pulling us apart, but Bryce says he has a plan.
I hope it’s a good one.
Note: set your heart a flutter with this over-the-top baseball star who will stop at nothing to give his woman the freedom she deserves—he’ll even ask his brother, Danny for help. Buckle in sports fans, you’re about to travel back to Oakwood Falls and Paradise Island as a part of the Passport 2 Love collaboration. This book can be read as a standalone, but it’s best read within the series so you can enjoy return characters. As always, this Megan Wade book comes with her ‘Sugar Promise’. High heat, low drama, guaranteed.

A quick read with an ultra happy ever after, this installment is everything a reader can expect from Megan Wade: great characters, hot romance, and low drama even when there is drama! You can’t help but cheer for Skyla and Bryce, even though you go in expecting the HEA.

This addition to the series is sweet with danger as Bryce and his new bride Skyla find themselves on the run from her stepfather. Don’t be deceived, it’s still packed with some sizzling good times between the 19 and 29 year-olds. This was a nice easy read with glimpses of the couples from prior stories in the series. I enjoyed this as part of the Whoa! I Married a… collection.
It’s a cute sweet story.
Straight and to the point.
Skyla at the age of 15 fell in love with Bryce when he took his first step on the pitchers mound.
Bryce, I think, had feeling that stirred, maybe protective ones, but of course has to wait the 3 years until she’s legal.
It’s a good little story. But it just lacks development. The timeline jumps weeks and sometimes months in advance and we get nothing of what happened during these time periods except simple sentences like living with Bryce’s brother was great but it wasn’t our house. I want to see more with how these two develop into their married life. Hell, I would’ve just liked to have seen how these two came together.
Bryce and Skyla met when they were fifteen and he was just starting to show promise at a pitcher. Her mother had just passed and her step-father wasn’t letting her do anything he didn’t approve of. She and Bryce have manage to see each other without her step-father finding out. Now that she’s eighteen she knows that she wants to be with Bryce for good and they start planning. However life gets in the way and they have to leave sooner than they planned. They run to Danny’s family for help with dealing with him. Will they get away safely? Can they find a way to deal with her step-father and be together finally?
This is an amazing story once I started it I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I liked this story. Although it’s a short story, it’s busy but entertaining. It’s also not a sports romance. Bryce is/was a pitcher for the team that should be Skyla’s but other than the occasional mention, it’s not a big part of the story. The characters are interesting and it was nice to check in with couples from the first two books. The books are standalones but are interconnected. This isn’t your usual romance. The story starts with Bryce and Skyla already together and building toward their future while trying to take care of stuff from the past. It was different, but I liked it anyway. Bryce and Skyla had a steamy relationship with laughs thrown in which was awesome. I loved their happy ever after and I recommend reading this book.

He hits it over the wall for her love
Whoa! I Married the Pitcher is the third book in the Wedded Curves series and this time it is the story of Bryce Cardiff and Skyla Fortsworth. He is the star pitcher for the DC Nationals and she is the young stepdaughter of the teams owner. Well really Skyla is the owner of the team after inheriting it at the age of fifteen when her mother was killed. But her stepfather Malcolm Campbell became her guardian and therefore also has power over the her estate. When Skyla turned eighteen she and Bryce started secretly dating. Whjen she becomes pregnant and they are married everything changes. But to say that Malcolm is not happy would be the understatement of the year as he is about to lose everything he has become accustomed to, which he will not do without a real fight.
I was not sure about this book initially as it sort of started part way into the story it seems. Plus if you have read Whoa! I Married a Billionaire! first then you will better understand the characters. But it is nicely written and the characters work well together with sweetness, romance and some sizzle.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Following on from book 2, this book is all about Danny’s brother Bryce. Their relationship was hidden, forcing Bryce and skyla run when her evil stepfather tried to control her and steal her legacy. The couple had an unexpected early arrival but tried to cherish their love in a safe haven. They were a sweet couple. It was nice to see them battle through against the odds.
The third book in the Wedded Curves series the first book in this series, and by this Author that I have read. I now want to read the rest of this series. Bryce Cardiff a pitcher and Skyla Fortsworth the teams owner’s daughter’s story, there is suspense, drama, danger, an evil man, and love. Skyla has crushed on Bryce from afar since she was fifteen. Bryce liked her too, but she was the owner’s daughter, too young, and off limits. Skyla’s stepfather, Malcolm, controls her trust fund and everything she does, that is until she marries. When Skyla turns eighteen Bryce makes his move and they start a relationship. After her stepfather finds out Skyla and Bryce take off on the run fleeing to Bryce’s brothers, fearing for Skyla’s life. Will Skyla really be able to escape Malcolm or will he find her and take her back home? Another amazing addition to this brilliant series. I can’t wait for the next book!!

I’m seriously enjoying Megan Wade’s Wedded Curves Series of books. “Whoa! I Married The Pitcher” is a satisfyingly quick, easy and sexy read. You’ll fall hard and fast for Bryce and Skyla. He’s a sexy pitcher and she’s the owner’s very off limits daughter. But nothing and no one will stand in the way of true love. Their happily ever after lies in the balance as they fight to stay together despite he who shall not be named who is trying to keep them apart and worse, harm her. Love prevails as they finally get their sweet HEA. TBR and Enjoy!
