You never truly know a man until you share a bank account. That’s something my granny used to say growing up. I never put much stock in it. Mainly because I never cared about money, only the man. But when I married Danny Cardiff, I finally understood what she meant. When I said, ‘I do’ I thought it was to a mild mannered ex-marine turned business analyst who spent more time working at home than in … working at home than in the office. But when we went on our honeymoon, I realized just how wrong I was.
There was a private jet.
We had an entire island to ourselves.
Staff to cater to every whim.
When I grew concerned over how we could afford this, he broke the news.
He’s a billionaire. Whoa!
But now I’m wondering what other secrets he’s hiding.
Note: set your heart a flutter with this over-the-top billionaire who sweeps his curvy bride off her feet and teaches her that love is always bigger than money. As always, this Megan Wade book comes with her ‘Sugar Promise’. High heat, low drama, guaranteed.

We initially met Marnie and Danny in book one as it was their wedding that Gavin and Jolene met. Now, we get their story and boy is there quite a twist. . Danny has a secret and how does he go about revealing it? Let’s just say joining the Mile High Club was included!
Once the honeymoon is over, it’s Marnie’s turn to surprise him. The fact that he’s not the only one surprised makes it even sweeter. In addition to liking the hot times and the reveals, I also liked seeing how they handled conflict.
Setup for the next book occurs was we briefly meet Bryce and Skyla. I enjoyed this as part of the Whoa! I Married a… collection.
This adorable story draws you in and have glued to the pages. Danny and Marnie’s whirlwind relationship culminates with a lavish honeymoon that is way over the top having Marnie feeling like she is missing something. When the honeymoon is over the secret comes out about who Danny really is. Will their marriage be able to withstand his secret and build moving forward into a happily ever after? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Is it wrong that I really really wish this author would give us the meetings of these couples?
I kind of read these out of order (reading book 1, 4, 3, 2) and I think there’s only been one book where we get to see the couple actually meet and fall in love.
Marnie was just a bit too naive for my liking. She just fell hook line and sinker for Danny without knowing anything about him. Then when she does find out he has money, she’s just gets over it. I mean hell she didn’t even know what his job was…had she known she would’ve figured it’d be smart that he had a file on her.
Just like all the other books, this one is short, sweet, and to the point.
This fast and fun read was about a small town librarian who caught the eye of a billionaire who was in her little town. Marnie and Danny had a fast courtship and a fairytale life with a few bumps along the way. This was a fun read.

Danny and Marnie are just leaving for their honeymoon. Danny is surprising her since she planned the wedding and his surprised also has a big reveal for her. Marnie believes she married a normal average man but when they get to their destination she learns that she has married a billionaire. At first she worries that he kept it a secret because he didn’t trust her but Danny explained everything to her and she understood. They had an amazing honeymoon and met up with their friends when they got back home. But when Marnie finds something in Danny home office its sends her to her best friend to talk about it. Will Danny be able to explain or will his friend be able to help him out? Can they finally put all the secrets behind them?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn’t put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This story carries on from the first book in this series, but also runs along side it. Marnie and Danny escape for their honeymoon after helping out Jolene and gavin. Danny shows his new wife his secret gift to her, but doesn’t get the reaction he thought. They are a steamy couple, never keeping their hands off each other, but when Danny’s job gets in the way, it almost spells trouble for this blooming couple. Great short read.
He is hiding a very big secret……..his bank account balance
Whoa! I Married a Billionaire! is the second book in the Wedded Curves series and is the story of Marnie and Danny. They fall in love and within a month they get married. But it turns out that Danny has been hiding a very big secret…………a very big bank account balance. Things don’t come to light until into the honeymoon so now what?
This is a sweet, fluffy and no drama short story. I felt like it was missing something as it did not hook me. But it does make a nice book to read after reading something darker. The story itself is well written with good characters.
I received a copy of this book for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
It’s not your everyday insta-love story, and that’s a good thing. At first, I wasn’t sure about the story, as it started after the wedding. Not how a typical story begins, but that did not stop it from having great characters, and a fun time. I loved seeing Gavin and Jolene from the previous book in the series, and sort of meeting the couple from the upcoming book. Did I figure out what the “problem” was going to be, yes. Does that bother me, no. Megan Wade books are known to be low drama so I knew going in that no matter the problem, it would not be something to tear our couple apart, just give them a bump-in-the-road so to speak. I have yet to read a Megan Wade book that I didn’t love, and this is definitely not the one to break that trend!

I wasn’t thrilled with how Marnie treated Jolene in the last book. But she’s redeemed herself in this one, by apologizing to Jolene and treating her like a true friend. This is Marnie and Danny’s wedding story. They’ve only known each other a month when they marry, and there’s a lot about him that she doesn’t know. He knows pretty much everything about her – thanks to a background check that he didn’t tell her about. The story is entertaining, with just a little drama and a whole lotta loving, and it was a nice way to spend some time one afternoon.

Fun, fun, fun! This instalove story takes place entirely after the wedding. Danny and Marnie meet, fall in love, and get married….all in the span of a month. Given the quickness of their courtship, it’s no wonder that these two haven’t shared everything yet. Like the fact that Danny is a billionaire. A few misunderstandings keep this story interesting, but it’s wonderfully low angst. Marnie is a bit of a drama queen, but being one myself, that’s not a turn off. And her heart is in the right place, which makes up for her sometimes quick over-reactions. Danny is a bit oblivious at times, not really thinking about how certain pieces of information should be shared, or they could be misunderstood once they come to light. But these two love each other, and in the end, that’s all that counts! This is a great story, well worth reading. And it was fun catching up with Gavin and Jolene from the first book.

I liked this story. It was short but entertaining. The characters were likable. I enjoyed getting to check in with characters from the first book in the series but this is a standalone book.

Marnie and Danny’s story was enjoyable. It was different than I thought it would be but still good. Jolene was a great friend to Marnie and vice versa. Gavin and Danny were also great friends to each other. Marnie and Danny were definitely devoted to each other and were on the same page about lots of things. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.
