You know from the beginning that all will not go smoothly for billionaire Edward Marks. Let’s face it, no lady wants to be the pawn in a dating bet. But to be honest I really don’t think Catherine would have agreed to go out with Edward if she had known he was a billionaire, so he had a hard row either way. I personally think Edward did have a hard time not depending on his money and opening up enough for Catherine to get to know him, not his image. I enjoyed this book. Looking forward to David finding love.
This is a good romantic suspense story. I enjoyed it very much. There is the billionaire who accepts a bet, a chance encounter with a woman, an overbearing, possessive boyfriend & a friend who is not a real friend. A very well written story.
Edward is a billionaire who loves to flash his money for the ladies. His friend Sam bets that he can’t make a woman fall in love with him in ten days with a $1K budget. Never one to back down from a challenge, he accepts. Little did he know the next woman he meet will knock him off his feet. Catherine wasn’t looking to meet anyone or her next relationship, but Edward coming to her rescue was a godsend. Little did they both know this meeting would set their lives on a course for happiness or disaster.
A good read! The story has much going for it and it has a few interesting twists and some action scenes. Take note: being dishonest can bring you a lot of trouble and just maybe cost you your true love.
Who Wants to Kiss a Billionaire is a sweet, romantic HEA, however, it isn’t your typical girl meets boy and they live happily ever after. This book has unexpected twists and suspense that keep the reader engaged. This is an easy to read, enjoyable story.
I received an ARC and have chosen to give my honest opinion.
Another exciting read from Laura Burton! This was a fun, clean romance with a twist of suspense due to a creepy ex-boyfriend. I loved the unique plot twist with the bet – I could not put this one down! Great read for any fan of contemporary romance!

Sweet story between Edward, a billionaire who is used to throwing his money around and getting what he wants and Catherine, a singer who just got out of a bad relationship. Things start with a bet between Edward and one of his friends and get worse when Catherine’s ex turns dangerous. So much happens that it makes this story very interesting with likeable characters. ARC review.
This is a story of love at first sight and then get to know each other. When a character claims that the other is the “one” and they’ve only had a short prior meeting, I roll my eyes a bit.
That being said the lives and true character of our hero and heroine continue to layer and become more nuanced. With a little mystery and a romance built upon a bit of deception, the is a fun bit of light reading!
I received this story as an ARC and am giving an unbiased review.
I’ve read a handful of books by this author lately and they’ve all been 4 or 5 stars. They’re consistently entertaining. This one had some typical romance buts, but there were other aspects that kept it from being eye roll worthy predictable. I am definitely looking forward to the next installment after the teaser at the end of this one!
This was a great read! It had romance, with a sprinkle of mystery and suspense. I love Laura Burtons writing style, as it flows so easy and natural. This was a very quick read, but worth picking up.
Our MCs Edward and Catherine were both very well written and relatable. Edward is closed off and guarded- afraid to show his true self and heart to others. Catherine has had a bad experience with an ex and is also guarding her heart. It was great to see these two work past their struggles and come together.
I also really loved the plot. It reminded me, in a way of ‘How to lose a guy in 10 days’ which is one of my favorite movies. And the touch of romantic suspense to this book was well done.
Overall, I look forward to reading more from Burton in the future.
*Special thanks to the author for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review*
Sweet story
Edward is a confident billionaire, who’s pretty much used to getting what he wants. His best friend Sam suggests that he couldn’t actually get a woman to fall in love with him, without flashing all of his money around. Sam sets the goal of doing this in just 10 days (reminiscent of ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days’), and sets a budget of minimal daily spending for him.
Catherine is a singer, and has been hurt before. She’s somewhat vulnerable, and won’t fall easily. She is certainly not impressed with Edward’s cocky attitude and controlling ways. But over time, she too see that he has a vulnerable side to him. Will there be enough attraction to get her to fall for him, once he starts to develop feelings for her?
There’s some drama to keep the story interesting. But the characters in themselves kept me invested in what happens.
I received an ARC copy of this book via BookFunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a sweet romance with Billionaire Edward and Singer Catherine. He is used to getting any woman to go out with him so when his friends bets him without his money he can’t. Catherine wants nothing to do with another controlling man so when Edwards tries to sweep her off her feet with his lines she is having nothing to so with him which only makes Edward more determined. Great story line and loved these characters.
“Who Wants to Kiss a Billionaire” by Laura Burton
This is a winner !! I do love a romance that is clean and sweet, and, has its share of ‘complications’ too. I received an ARC of this story from the author. This is my honest opinion of the story. This is an easy, captivating read… I truly did not want to put this story down for even a minute… but of course I did because alas we do not always get to do that which we want to do. This is a worthy read. Happy Reading ! !
