They were my bullies once.Three boys I hated more than anything. They made my life hell for a year–until I escaped their cruelty when my dad’s job moved us away.I’ve never forgotten them though. Never forgotten what they did. And I know they haven’t forgotten me.But when I’m offered a full-ride scholarship to the prestigious Clearwater University, I refuse to let old fears stop me from accepting.… refuse to let old fears stop me from accepting.
Because I’m not the girl I used to be.
I’m stronger. Tougher.
Angrier.
And if West, Reese, and Trent think they can fuck with me again… well.
We’ll just see who breaks first.

I love this Book and Audiobook! This book is an awesome beginning to this new series. Emma is a great FMC and Trent, West, and Reece are HOT! I loved the storyline and couldn’t stop listening to the audiobook until it was over! The Narrators for the audiobook are fantastic and really bring the story to life. I cannot wait to read/listen to the next book in this series!

This is a fast paced bully RH and it’s really engaging, I Love listening to it in audio!
No Spoilers, but what a great read! Iook forward to listening to Book 2!
A case of misunderstanding at its finest. I loved how she thought hiding in a bush would save her!
You can tell that there is not trust and that the characters were all deeply hurt by one another. But this story does really show that if you take the time to talk and not just go haywire things might just be easier for you and you wouldn’t wast so much time.
I do like how this is an RH but may lead to some step brother action…Guess we will find out.
4 stars for Who Breaks First by Eva Ashwood. This is book 1 in the Clearwater University series. This is a college bully romance, oh and it is also a reverse harem. So I was confused at first about what the actual relationship was going to become between Emma, West, Trent, and Reese. They used to be friends, but all of the sudden things changed. The guys became Emma’s worst nightmares. They were her tormentors and so much worse. Emma left when her dad got a different job but now two years later, she is back and at Clearwater University. The only problem with this is so are Trent, West, and Reese. Trent is the worst out of all of them, he truly seems to hate Emma and she really has no idea why. If these guys would have just talked to begin with then none of this would have happened, but then we wouldn’t have this awesome book now would we. The romance soon sparks between Emma and the guys and things seem to be looking up. However, this is where I wanted to reach into my book and smack Trent, West, and Reese and tell them to act like adults. I am on edge waiting to see what is going to happen next for these 4. Starting book 2 now.
Emma (MFC) is back in Clearwater after 2 years away & shes just started at Clearwater University. Her new start there doesnt go to plan when she finds out The Icons – Reece, Trent and West are also going there too. Former friends who took great pleasure in bullying her because of a misunderstanding. They are determined to oust her from Clearwater too. What they dont expect is Emma is not the same girl as she was back when they knew her. Shes a stronger person now and she wont back down from a fight. I just wanted to shake Reece, Trent and West. Tell them to grow the hell up! I cannot wait for the next book because im hoping with fingers crossed that Emma gets them back for everything they put her through. If the ending of this book is anything to go by its gonna be good! Dying to read that. Such a great book!!!
For Eva Ashwood’s second book? She’s done a great job.
I enjoyed the book. I do wish Emma had more of a backbone throughout the book like she did at the end. The chemistry between her and the guys is definitely undeniable. I really liked Reese. From the start he didn’t really play into making Emma’s life difficult. I mean he went along with it but didn’t participate much. I’m still trying to figure out West. And Trent…well I hate him. He’s the mastermind behind the torment Emma has been through. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
I couldn’t put this book down until the last page. We meet Emma on her first day of collage and she’s settling in well until she runs into her past. The Icon’s better known as Trent, Reece, and West also her 3 ex bestfriends who tortured her with bullying and other mean things at the end of high school. Although she’s worried about being around them again she has grown and is determined to not let them effect her in any way. She does well with that for a while but then things change and were brought on a journey with the 4 of them. One that’s starts out really rocky and then moves into something that has the potential of becoming so much more. Well that is until one of the Icons realizes something and decides to take matters into his own hands and destroys everything we think is going to happen. In the end were left with our head spinning and wondering what will become of the 4 of them. We just have to wait and see how this messed up love/hate story ends. And I couldn’t be more excited to read the next book in this series.
