This book starts at a wedding without giving up much of what is going to happen but, it fills in some essential relationship information. First time read for Ms. Cole and I am pleasantly surprised by the talent displayed. I found White Lies to have a uniquely designed storyline and engaging characters; that coupled together, make one heck of an impact on you, the reader. Reader’s attention will not divert from this quick and beautifully crafted book. I found myself engrossed from cover to cover just to see what kind of trouble Brian and his best friends Sister, Hannah, find themselves in. I guarantee that you will most definitely be completely enthralled with this impressive release.
I voluntarily requested an advanced reader’s copy of White Lies in exchange for my honest opinion and I highly recommend reading this book.
This is my first read by this author and it was delightful! It was a fast paced action comedy with romance slapped it and it kept you enthralled through out the entire time!
We have a Con Artist trying to con another Con Artist with the help of his best friend’s sister who tells enough of her own lies to be a Con Artist in training! Brian and Hannah are so cute and hot together and the fire between them was so steamy! The twists in this story were so intriguing and the ending was surprising! I loved this book and would like to read the first book about her brother and Emma.
This book was one great read with the well written storyline and characters that were so well detailed that I read this book in one sitting!
When Brian’s best friends sister, Hannah, comes to him for help with a con he has no idea how much his life will change. I liked the story and the characters. This is a good story and a quick read.
Brian is a con man and even at a friend’s wedding he doesn’t take a break from working a mark. He is currently trying to convince a man that the world is going to end and that he is building an underground bunker for a certain amount of people to live in. The thing is there is only so many man and woman allowed to repopulate the world when it ends. This is what Brian is trying to get this guy to believe. The only thing missing from this working is Brian needs a beautiful woman at his side to get the man in. So he tries to bring Hannah his friend’s sister into the con. Will he get his revenge? What will happen between him and Hannah?
This is a great story that will have you on the edge of your seat. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This book was rather fun to read. Both main characters, Hannah and Brian, are con artists, although I doubt Hannah would ever admit it. It was very entertaining when they had to convince Hannah’s parents that Brian was Hannah boss, seeing as she was unemployed and they had met Brian previously, and the drama that immediately followed. The book flowed well and was an easy read. I would recommend it for a nice evening read.

This is my first good romance by a good romance author! Hannah wants her family approval so badly that she messes up a lot. Brian is her brother’s best friend and the king of con. This was interesting. I received a gifted copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review. I honestly love this story and this author! Hannah was bullied into White Lies her parents because it was not safe to tell the truth. Brian took her to a whole new level.
Oh what a tangled web these two conceived!! Kayley Cole has given us another edge of your seat story!!
Hannah has been in some trouble before and feels Everyone is judging her by her past mistakes. When she runs into her brothers best friend Brian at his wedding she doesn’t think twice about him until she finds herself in a bit of a jam.
Brian is a sexy con artist out for revenge. When he sees his best friends sister at his wedding he knows she is off limits and almost perfect to help him on his next con seeking his revenge. But what happens when the teacher becomes the student??
ONE DELIGHTFUL READ!!!
Oh man, talk about off the wall. If you’re looking for a fast paced, action packed, pulse racing, heart pounding, smooth flowing, page turning wonder that’s as riveting as it is captivating congrats my friends you’ve found it. All the drama, uncertainty, lies, deceit, familia issues and suspense hits hard as tension spirals. A whirlwind of emotions and events that pulls those heartstrings that pull you deeper and deeper. Twists and turns abound with unexpected circumstances that make for one incredible experience. The characters are complex and believable with such depth and individuality it’s easy to relate. The scenes are so graphically detailed and descriptive you have no trouble picturing each scenario as they play off one another in perfect balance. Kayley did an amazing job bringing this read roaring to life brilliantly. Remarkable job Kayley, thanks for sharing this little gem with us.
I really enjoyed this book, it was full of drama, humor, sarcasm, suspense, and romance. The storyline was original and the characters, Brian and Hannah, have a hot chemistry together and are just what each other needed. Such a great read I definitely recommend it.

Quick read but a little hard to get into but persevere, it does get better.
Two of the main characters are both running cons in their own way and start out not liking each other.
They each need the others help and that is how their relationship begins.

I’ve read a few of Kayley Coles book, and with each they’ve made me think…of the plot twists, and try to figure out what’s going on in the book. That’s a good thing, because they aren’t boring reads! This book especially.
Received an ARC of this book and am leaving an honest review.
I enjoyed this book and was happy to have read it since this was a new author for me. I cracked up and found it enjoyable, we have lies and suspense and drama. I found it to be a nice balance of everything. Brian and Hannah were what each other needed at just the right time even though they were both con artist trying to con each other..Enjoy!

I enjoyed the originality of the story. The main characters, Brian and Hannah, were both imperfect people which lends to the reality factor. Their sarcastic and humorous banter keep things interesting. I found it to be a bit confusing concerning the motivation and objective of Brian’s con, but it became clearer as I continued on. Factors that are important to me in a good read that this book possesses are humor, chemistry between the main characters, no cliffhanger and a happy ending.

At the wedding reception for Shane and Emma, out in the middle of the woods, Brian Sampson is trying to run a con on a paranoid man sitting at his table, telling him about a theory of the end of the world and preparing for it by buying into an underground fortress. But the man tells him another guy told him about the world ending with a flood and they were preparing a submarine. Brian thinks for a second that this con could be Isaac’s – but he left Colorado so it couldn’t be his con, could it? So Brian got up from the table and went to chat with Shane.
Shane’s younger sister, Hannah, has some bad behavior issues according to her mom. Her mom wants her to drop out of college and move back home to learn some manners. So she lies and says she has a job with a charitable organization to help end human trafficking and she wouldn’t want to have to quit and let them all down. Brian is impressed with her lying because it is seamless, well done, and convincing. Just what he needs for his next con, even though her hair isn’t naturally blonde.
When Brian’s enemy comes back to town, he decides he’s going to run a con on him using his weakness – long-legged blondes. And he know just who to bring into the con. But Hannah isn’t interested at first, until she thinks she can use his help with her own con. Brian teaches her the skills for seduction. But it gets difficult to know if something is worthwhile and real – or if it’s just a part of the skillset for a con?
This is an interesting story, with some humor thrown in that keeps the reader enjoying how the storyline plays out. Ordinarily I don’t appreciate cons who like to cheat people rather than put their brains to work on something worthwhile. But the characters in the story do become likable and it keeps the reader’s interest in seeing how they manage to set up their game, while not getting caught in it themselves. A cute read – enjoy!
This was the first book I’ve read by Kayley Cole and I found it very entertaining!
It was a humorous look at how people are scammed and the relationships that develop as one scammer tries to get the other one. There was mystery involved as it developed. A good read and a page turner.

This is the first book I read from Kayley Cole, I like her style, but I have to say I wasn’t expecting the ending it had. I was first intrigued with the fact that someone was trying to con someone else, and thought is this story not going to have a HEA. Well I was shocked, it did. This story is about Brian, the con artist and Hannah, Brian’s best friends’ sister. They meet at her brother’s wedding and being that she is trying her best to get away from her own family, she seeks Brian for help with his con artist ways.
Well there is a twist to this story as Brian is being a con artist to get back at someone that destroyed his mother, but while they both try to help each other, they end up falling for each other. I now seek to read the first book on Hannah’s brother and Emma as both women are feisty in their own way and the men are your typical alpha that thinks they are in charge…I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
