New York Times bestselling author Meghan March continues the story of untold truths and one man’s redemption in the Dirty Mafia Duet.I never expected to be anyone’s white knight. That’s not a role I’ve ever played. But when the Casso crime family shifts into uncharted territory, they’re looking for a new hero, and they’re looking for me—Cannon Freeman, the black sheep. But my time in disgrace is at … sheep.
But my time in disgrace is at an end.
It’s my turn to rise up and save the people who matter most to me.
Even if my family has never given a damn about me, I will not let them fall.
More than anything, I will not let her fall.
White Knight is the second book in the Dirty Mafia Duet and should be read after Black Sheep, book one.

I was very fortunate to be able to read and listen to both books in the Dirty Mafia Duet, and I can’t put into words how well Sebastian York and Andie Arndt narrated their characters. If I enjoyed Black Sheep, White Knight was even more thrilling. Told from a dual perspective in present is not an easy feat and March pulled it off with flair. The story takes off where it left us; yeap, on an almighty cliffy. But this is what March does to a tee, leaving her readers yearning for more!
“Which one is the real you? Any of them?”
This book’s pace felt even faster and if you thought you’d read angsty scenes spiced up with titillating passion, you’re in for a treat ‘cause Cannon is about to show his woman she’s the one. Nothing is going to stop him. His steadfastness has the power to change not only his stance regarding the family business, but also in his personal life which, believe you me, I found difficult to absorb at times. It felt like there was an overdose of tension from all angles and the twist; well, to say it was unexpected would be putting it mildly.
“You wouldn’t have trusted me if I’d told you,”
“You’re my brother. I’d trust you with my life.”
Drew’s dangerous mission bothered me. I thought her fearlessness a tad irresponsible; however, it seemed to me that the more pressure she was under, the stronger she became. I loved how they learnt to trust each other and although most of the pages were action-packed, in this respect it wasn’t rushed. Their dynamics just seemed to give the book an even more riveting touch.
“You apologized. I accepted. Now we move on. No more dirty little secrets, baby. Promise me.”
Great plot and character development, cameo appearances from other books was a welcome surprise and cleverly integrated into the story. That being said, Dirty Mafia is a stand-alone duet. Queen of spinning tales overflowing with suspense, passion and fabulous dialogue, March has once again delivered with her unique style. And my many questions were answered in a fitting fashion; not too quickly, keeping me stuck to the pages. Bravo!
4.5 Stars
Eeeeeeeeeeeeppppppp.
Ok, now that I have had a bit to work through the cliffhanger from the first book in this duet, I can review the 2nd.
Obviously, Drew lives. She’s the heroine, they usually do. But, I’m not going to tell you how, you will just have to find out on your own.
This book was not what I was expecting. Not. At. All. But, in a good way. The fun way that leaves you feeling like you just finished a really great ride and wish you could do it again.
I wish it was possible to really review this without spoilers, but it isn’t.
So, what I will say is I think this is one of Ms. March’s best books and it’s the perfect end to the duet. I was smiling when I finished this title, even though I was sad it was over.
I enjoyed and recommend this title.
Terror, heart wrenching, uncertainty, death, love, secrets unleashed, and new beginnings. White Knight has it all and will keep you hanging off of every word written! The underground world collides with the new love found. It is a new twist and flare to Romeo and Juliet. I have always been a Meghan March fan and she kills it with this story. Cannon and Memphis are my favorite characters she has ever written. I claimed my Cannon and you can too when you get White Knight in your hands. The conclusion will have you falling out of your chair and end with a huge smile on your face <3
White Knight, part two in the Dirty Mafia Duet, picks up where Black Sheep left off with Cannon and Drew are anxiously waiting for word of who was injured or killed during the drive-by, trying to make sense of all that has transpired in their lives to lead them to this place and Drew still needs answers as to who killed her father and why.
Ms. March keeps the tension ratcheted up as Drew and Cannon delve in that families’ secrets and lies which affect them both. Cannon shows that he is, indeed, more the man than his father ever was by trusting Drew to find her answers despite what it may mean for him, mending broken fences and standing up for what is right. Drew proves she is Cannon’s match by standing tall and strong as knowledge long withheld from her, threats all she is.
White Knight offers up a conclusion which answers all the shadowy questions swirling around the leads, has sexy, steamy scenes guaranteed to raise the pulse, and a satisfying HEA. The Dirty Mafia Duet’s Cannon and Drew fit in nicely with Meghan March’s stable of alpha characters and their amazing counterparts.
Megan march has all the words the conclusion to Cannons story is epic and jaw dropping the duet has left me speechless and stunned bravo mrs xx
Holy crap….wow! This book is an amazing conclusion to this duet. It has so many surprises that you don’t see coming, that you can’t put it done because you have to know what is happening next.
He was only supposed to be a means to end…
She was a distraction he didn’t see coming…
God, the conclusion to the Dirty Mafia Duet was… in a word, EPIC! This suspenseful love story is riddled with obstacles ranging from hidden identities and twisted familial loyalties. Could not put down! Through secrets, lies and deceit Cannon and Drew’s bond holds true proving that even blood can’t tear them apart. Cannon’s dark allure mixed with Drew’s strong will makes them a power couple fit for Mafia Royalty.
So many twists and turns its a true indicator of a classic Meghan March novel. Although I love the classic heroes, Cannon defies the odds and breaks the mold. He’s dark and twisty but is pure gold to his core. Total swoon!
After the cliffhanger we were left with in Black Sheep, I was definitely not disappointed with White Knight. As usual Meghan grabs your attention and keeps it through the whole book. I was captivated with the crossover characters from her other books integrating into this series as well.
I absolutely love the relationship between Cannon & Memphis. Memphis is struggling to unravel the mystery behind her father’s death. Cannon is trying stay on the right side of the law while being forced into a position he didn’t really want in his family.
I highly recommend ALL of Meghan’s books! She has the right amount of action, romance, and comedy to keep you interested.

GAH!
So. Damn. Good!
It was so good that my cheeks hurt from all the grinning I was doing, though there were a few teary eyed sniffles going on as well, but overall it was a fun, quick read that made me all kinds of happy when everything was said and done.
Cannon and Drew. I will admit that I absolutely adored them together as they finally found themselves on somewhat solid ground, but if you were to ask who I like more? Honestly, Cannon totally stole the show in this one. Not to say that Drew didn’t have her moments, because she did, but Cannon was simply everything and I loved watching him take charge and be the man he was always meant to be.
If you’ve read any of my reviews, you know that I LOVE well written secondary characters, and when a book/duet/trilogy etc, is interconnected with others that I love getting glimpses of them and seeing what they may be up to and this one far surpassed my expectations and is definitely what made this book a true gem for me when everything was said and done.
This was a great read. It was engaging and I loved all the twists and turns and how all the issues that Cannon and Drew faced were resolved. And after that little tease, I’m definitely looking forward to getting my hands on The Fall of Legend.
Note: And as this duet can being a stand-alone. It can be read as a stand-alone, but as I said, this one is connected to previous books/series/duets etc and some of the people from them are at least mentioned and I do believe that if you do go back and read at least The Dirty Billionaire Trilogy understand the emotional undercurrents a bit better, but that is simply my opinion.

OMGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!! Meghan March knows how to get you invested in a book EVERY. TIME!!!! After the cliffhanger in Black Sheep I couldn’t wait to dive in to find out wth happens!!!! It wasn’t what I expected that’s for sure. Turns out everything wasn’t what I expected but even better. Cannon alphaness grew so much in this book that it was beyond sexy. And Drew?!?! She was a bada$$!!!!!!! She proved to Cannon that she was his ride or die. They were some secrets that were revealed that made me gasp but I kind of had a feeling after some things were said. Cannon proves to everyone that he’s his own man and Drew proves that she’s the perfect partner for him. I enjoyed seeing all the other characters from other series, . I actually want more of Cannon and Drew!!!! They’re up there with my top 5 favorites. His dad even though I despise how I treat him finally starts respecting him which Cannon needed. Even the old man wins me over, lol.
I absolutely loved this book, there’s so much good and “bad” drama that I couldn’t put this book down. I was so excited to finally read what happens after the ending of Black Sheep. So much information gets revealed in this book that you absolutely have to read every word. My mind was blown. Can’t wait to read more books by Megan March
I love an author that is able to astound me; to render me dumbfounded and riveted as unforeseen situations and secrets are unveiled. With White Knight, Meghan March intensified the already heated chemistry between Cannon and Memphis; amplified the suspense rushing through the chapters and magnified the thrilling outcomes to biting events as they unfurled. She’s delivered a conclusion with a heartfelt ending that will entice and enthrall you.
“Memphis is mine. For better or for worse.”
Cannon’s allure—his domineering and commanding nature—doesn’t wane, it only becomes more profound. Complex and multifaceted, we’ve seen this hero be ruthless and merciless, but we now have the absolute delight of witnessing an uncharacteristically tender hearted and understanding side make an appearance. Newfound tender moments emerge, leaving you sighing in total bliss and swooning in complete pleasure as they overwhelm your emotions, making it easier to love this hero.
“I excelled at hiding who I was from the world. Even more, I excelled at hiding my fears and my demons from myself. So, how in the hell did Cannon Danger Freeman find my heart anyway?”
Devoted to procuring the answers to long-lived questions, Memphis finds herself moving further into a much darker, dangerous environment to have that closure she’s desperately wanted and her resolute nature is an admirable characteristic that thankfully continues in this duet. Innumerous mysteries and countless secrets continue to surround Memphis, but the bound knots begin to unravel, unveiling a more complex, multifaceted identity than we realise.
“Don’t promise me heaven, then put me through hell. I want a lifetime with you.”
I loved the increased intensity and heated chemistry between Cannon and Memphis. As the connection brewed and strengthened, the hidden layers within Cannon and Memphis surfaced, showing us more realistic characters with fears and insecurities that eventually allowed them to flourish into stronger characters. With a forbidden note used to enhance the connection, the bond carried an added enticement that made this couple’s love extra fiery!
Quick, though still riveting, White Knight contains more secrets in this conclusion that make it that little more enthralling and thrilling. I balled my fists and clenched my teeth in dire anticipation of finally receiving needed answers to my unending questions that tied this duet up beautifully. Meghan March is very easily becoming my favourite author for fast-driven but wonderfully executed suspense-filled romances.
White Knight picks up right where we left off in Black Sheep…straight into the madness.
Nonstop action with tons of twists and turns. I thought all my questions would be answered, and they were, but we got so much more. No moment of downtime – I read White Knight in a single setting; I couldn’t put it down.
Lots of side characters that we’ve met in previous books; it was great to see it all come together. The interactions between all the siblings was the best part of this entire story.
No cliffhanger in this one…just a teaser for what’s to come! Another great read by Meghan March!

I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this book!!! I love how Meghan March’s mind works. She is the master at writing an intriguing story with twists and turns you don’t see coming.
White Knight is the conclusion to the Dirty Mafia duet. It is the second book and answers all the questions a reader might have after reading Black Sheep (Book 1). As with any of Meghan’s books I can’t and won’t talk about the storyline of this book. There is no way to talk about it without spoiling for other readers.
Here is what I can tell you about White Knight. It is the final book in this duet and is told in Dual POV. It is again, another romance book filled with suspense, drama, love and swoon worthy moments. If you fell in love with Cannon in Black Sheep, you will love him even more after reading White Knight!! The pace and flow of this story was perfect. And the twists and turns are mind blowing!!! This book does start right where that brutal cliffhanger left us in Black Sheep.
I never feel like I can do a Meghan March book justice with my reviews. I could literally ramble on and on about any book I have read by her, but I am always afraid of leaking a spoiler. So just know this….you will want to read the Dirty Mafia Duet!! If this isn’t on your TBR list, make sure you add it NOW!!
I also loved seeing so many other characters from her other series in this Duet. But don’t worry you don’t have to read any other books to fully enjoy this story.
Meghan March never disappoints! I wasn’t sure how She would be able to redeem Cannon after his role in Creighton’s books, but oh man. I loved Cannon & Memphis/ Drew. I’m always amazed at the plot twists & the crazy directions these books take! I listened to the audiobook of this one & I was on the edge of my seat!
Cannon and Drew…Memphis….are back!!
Before you read further, I have to state that it is crucial you read Black Sheep (Dirty Mafia Duet #1) before diving into White Knight. This is not a standalone but a continuation to Cannon and Drew’s story. And because this is a continuation I’m not going to dive deep into what the story is about, No one likes to be spoiled and there is potential for a hell of a lot of spoiling. Instead I’m going to give my views and my opinions on White Knight. It should come as no surprise that I was legit frustrated by the cliffhanger that Meghan March left us with at the end of Black Sheep.
Instead I’m going to give my views and my opinions on White Knight. It should come as no surprise that I was legit frustrated by the cliffhanger that Meghan March left us with at the end of Black Sheep. I couldn’t’ wait to dive into White Knight, I was literally dreaming up scenarios, and they weren’t all great.
White Knight starts up right where Black Sheep left off. I gained a bunch of respect for Cannon and the way he dealt with his father. He was the devil in sheep’s clothing. Doing everything in his power to secretly protect the woman he has begun falling for. AHHH! I legit swooned in parts that weren’t supposed to be swoonworthy! And that’s all I’m going to say about that!
White Knight ups the heat factor compared to Black Sheep. Drew and Cannon are hot as hell, there chemistry is crazy sexy. I couldn’t put this one down to save my life. It was always just one more page, and then just one more chapter. A never ending array of emotions. March delivered it all!
As for the twists and turns……SO FREAKING MANY! and that is what makes this review nearly impossible to write. So I’m going to leave you all by saying, If you love highly addicting duets with mystery, suspense, and sexy as sin love scenes, I highly recommend you pick up the Dirty Mafie Duet!!

I loved the second and final book of the Dirty Mafia. This book had me from the start. The twists and turns kept me entertained. The relationships kept me emotionally invested. The audible is also a fantastic. Cannon is one of my favorite book boyfriends! And Drew is pretty awesome too! Highly recommend!
New York Times bestselling author Meghan March continues the story of untold truths and one man’s redemption in the Dirty Mafia Duet. Over all this duet book series was a great read I did find the first book better than the second though, the second book seemed to lose the excitement and suspense and moved into an infiltration of the other characters from the other books that are linked to this series and I was left in a baffled state of having to work out who was who. Love the characters and the sex was very steamy.
I really loved this book and I was really lucky to get to read this book early and I loved it I just couldn’t put it down
“I received a free copy with no obligation to review”
As soon as this book was in my hands, I was reading it. I could not wait to find out what would happen next after the ending of Black Sheep. I was dying to know more. This conclusion is the perfect ending. It is suspenseful and twisty as only Meghan can pull off and I was absolutely captivated the entire read. I couldn’t put it down and I am so excited to see what Meghan has in store for us next.
