Meghan March has taken White Knight to a whole new level of perfection. This is another gripping tale of love, passion and suspense from Meghan March. And she has done it again! I was sucked into the sexy, intense and adrenaline filled extravaganza from the beginning. And it claimed me completely. Heart, soul, blood and tears.
I want to know the secret of creating a delicious, gorgeous and swoonworthy man in every single book. Seriously this is incredible. And every man has own signature moves. Cannon Freeman is a self made man who can do anything for the people he loves. The Casso family. His love. And he can do it with a sexy calm hiding the raging inferno in him. And his whole personality made me swoon, sigh, blush and die with emotions. Protective. Dominant. Controlled. Smart. Loyal. Vulnerable. Unappreciated. This man is the complete package. He will rise up to the occasion to take control of the empire and I was cheering him all the way.
And Drew Carson is his true queen. She is the enemy at the beginning and now she has fallen head over heels in love with this honourable, passionate and amazing man. Her life is going to be shattered into pieces in this story. She thought she knows all about herself. But this story has so many twists and turns that my heart did not stop beating like drums for a single second. This woman has my respect. She is so strong , smart, sassy and supportive. The only kind of woman who can stand up to Cannon’s intensity and also heal his scars with her undying love. The chemistry was panty melting hot and soul numbing deep. My heart was truly a lost cause. They both have pain and burdens and they shared it in a heartbreaking way. Cannon may think the worst about himself but the way he cherished and loved Drew at her worst was brilliant.
The storyline of White Knight is fast paced and full of dizzying turns. At one point I did not even know what is true and what is lie. It was fantastic. I wanted to bang my head in the wall so many times. My jaw stayed glued to the floor almost permanently because the unbelievable secrets broke me. I am warning you it will be so unexpected yet fitting. Meghan March tied all loose ends with a neat bow. It was a love story. It was a mafia story with nail biting thrilling course. It was everything.
I completely lost myself in the sinfully sexy and mysterious world of White Knight. I could not put it down and at the same time, did not want it to end. Meghan March has written an outstanding story of love, passion and power games. I was drowning in the overwhelming feelings yet I did not want to come up for air.

4.5 stars!
Cannon and Drew are back and better than ever in the conclusion to the Dirty Mafia Duet . White Knight is filled with more of everything I loved in Black Sheep . Brimming with mystery, suspense, action, romance, and jaw-dropping twists, this fast paced read takes you on a wild ride, and it is unputdownable.
White Knight begins with a glimpse into the past and then it jumps back to the shocking cliffhanger from the first book. I was riveted from the beginning and as things begin to progress, I was desperate for answers. Often times mafia books are so far-fetched but this one is interesting and believable. There are jaw dropping twists that I didn’t see coming but that fit with the complex storyline and are oh, so good! The way things tie together is creative and unpredictable.
White Knight gives us characters to love, characters to hate, and new players to change things up. I love Cannon and Drew even more in this book. I enjoy when the hero and heroine go all in and don’t question their feelings, and this is Cannon and Drew to a T. They are solid and I loved their relationship. They carry the chemistry and heat from Black Sheep over to this book and bring all of the sweet and swoony goodness along with it. I believed in their love and couldn’t help but swoon every time Cannon put Drew first.
“I can handle anything you throw at me. Anything. If you think you’re gonna break, you tell me, and I’ll hold you together. That’s what this is. You and me. The real thing.”
I loved that the secondary characters are more than they appear. New allies and villains appear and each played an important role, and I loved getting to know the vital people in Cannon and Drew’s life and how everyone is connected.
Lovers of March’s Dirty Billionaire Duet , Dirty Girl Duet , and the Beneath series will be excited to get character cameos of the much loved heroes and heroines of those books. Though I haven’t read them yet, the glimpses into their lives have bumped these stories to the top of my TBR list!!
Overall, White Knight is a fantastic conclusion to Cannon and Drew’s story giving us the happily-ever-after they deserve, and I loved it!

Thank goodness for quick releases! I loved listening to this duet in audio version. I have found myself to actually prefer this method lately. I flew through this duet, listening every chance possible.
After the cliffy we were left with, we get a little bit of a breather. Cannon and Drew still have some things to work through, but at least they’re both alive, right? We get all of the answers that we’ve been waiting for. The anticipation alone could almost kill me, but my patience won this go around, and it paid off. Cannon learns the real reason Drew is doing what she is, Drew learns things about herself that she didn’t know, and everyone, and I do mean everyone, actually starts to build a bond that I never saw coming. It was the absolute best conclusion in my opinion!
After reading Black Sheep, I was hoping for more with White Knight. And I totally got it!
White Knight begins where book one left off. I was more engaged with this book. I needed to know more. I wasn’t expecting that plot twist, and was kind of hoping it played a little more into how things happened with the Rosettis.
I enjoyed the epilogue. I love how things turned out for Cannon and Drew/Memphis. And I’m so looking forward to Gabriel Legend’s story!
Okay, so the story of Cannon and Memphis is complete. The Black Sheep has become the White Knight and the story is dynamite.
Memphis has been struggling to prove to herself that Cannon is not who she once thought he was. She’s sees the good in him but how when all the evidence suggests more?
Because we know it will be a HEA, we believe in Cannon’s ultimate strength and integrity. We know that “Memphis” will do the right thing and stand by her man. And we know that Meghan will once again give us the stories that make our hearts explode, shatter and then mend. It’s why we love her so much….
Cannon and Memphis’s story had a lot of layers to dig through, and that was what the majority of White Knight was spent doing. It was great seeing characters from previous books make an appearance, and seeing new friendships made in the process.
White Knight succeeded in making me feel more invested in Cannon and Memphis’s story, which I felt I was lacking a bit during Black Sheep. But spending more time together and getting their (mostly her) dirty laundry out, it made me buy into their attraction on more than a strictly physical level. I enjoyed seeing the way the family dynamics played out, and the fact that Memphis never cowered to his family.
I really enjoyed the family aspect of this book and the fact that this second installment focused on that. Cannon felt much more whole to me when it was all said and done, and I think that was important to his journey. While Memphis was partially responsible, the rebuilding of his familial ties helped a lot with that.
Overall, I enjoyed the second book of this duet more than the first, but I think many readers will enjoy the duet as a whole.
This series is unputdownable, crafted in a way that it seductively draws you in with its skilled storyline and the need for everything Cannon.
The book picks up right where book one finishes, thank god after that cliffhanger and Cannon has to make a choice. In true Meghan March style the plot thickens with twist and turns that will have you devouring this book.
Cannon and Drew are perfect together. Both want to fight for what’s right and to get the truth. They fit so well together, they are equal parts business with sizzling chemistry and hot between the sheets! I just loved dirty talking Cannon!
Again, in this book Cannon will woo you. He’s calculated, protective, sexy as sin, a little broken and easily weaves his way into your heart.
Anyone familiar with the ‘Dirty’ universe will be happy with the appearance of characters from the previous books. Their interactions were just perfect and makes me want to go back to Holly and Creighton to start their stories again.
What I loved about this duet was its fast paced, action packed story, there was never a lull and the action just kept flowing. Cannon and Drew were up against everything, but their smart thinking got them through.
And what a nice little insight into her next Hero at the end of the book – The Fall of the Legend, Coming November 12th!

Holy crap! Just when you think you have it all figured out….YOU DON’T! Cannon and Memphis will blow you away with this story. It just gets better and better. Once you pick up this book you won’t be able to put it down. There is mystery, excitement and romance in this story. You will not be disappointed with this one. Meghan March knows how to weave a great story…never doubt that!!
Deserves more than 5 stars!!! I love it so much!!! It’s PERFECT! Meghan hit out of the park with this duet. It kept me at the edge of my seat throughout the whole book! It hits me right in the gut. I didn’t see the twist coming at all!! CANNON FREEMAN is the man!!! That’s all you need to know to pick up this duet!!! Lol You will laugh, cry, smile, swoon right and left. Family relationships ALWAYS tugs at my heartstrings. I did feel the ending was kind of rushed though. It should have been a Trilogy instead! Besides that, everything was AWESOME! Highly, highly recommend!!!u2063
WOW!!!
Book 2 in the Dirty Mafia duet, White Knight picks up after an epic cliffhanger in Black Sheep that had me stunned!! I absolutely loved White Knight!! I loved reading how Cannon and Drew’s story unfolded, how DREW’S story unfolded with shocking twists and turns!!! Amazing five star read!!!
Picking up right where the previous book left off, reader’s hearts immediately start pounding as there’s a smell of blood in the air which leaves many character’s fates unclear. With Cannon trying to keep his burgeoning lady love alive, along with trying to protect his family from a war with another crime family, there’s lots of twists and turns keeping readers on the edge of their seats from the first page to the last in an exhilarating journey.
Cannon Freeman’s the illegitimate son of Dom, the head of the Casso family…actually one of many illegitimate children to carry the Casso name. Since the murder of his mother in an act that’s worthy of revenge he’s tried to find his place in the family and by Dom’s side with only more frustration the result. Though he lives within the world of the mob he’s clearly not a typical mobster. He’s a businessman through and through and as the story progressed he used that knowledge to keep the bloodshed at bay and through surprising twists and turns. In a story with numerous characters, Cannon stood out with an intriguing dichotomy that drew me to him. On one side is a mysterious yet commanding man, a man who’s self-assured and dedicated to the morals his kindhearted mother taught him. He’s a man with a big heart, someone who’s protective of family and when it comes to the woman who instantly caught his heart he’d do all he could to keep her safe. He’s methodical and thinks things through before he acts which makes him a formidable leader when fate forces the role on him. Being with Drew/Memphis also brings out a romantic side to him, one that I found endearing because of his warm words and deeds, along with a flirtatiousness that charmed me and made their pairing even more delightful.
Drew/Memphis is a woman on a mission…a mission to discover the truth about her father’s death. To do that she uses every trick she learned through her career as an investigative reporter to infiltrate the Casso family in hopes of putting them all in jail. Her plan for revenge though quickly goes awry the moment she meets Cannon. He’s a man like no other, a man with a dangerous persona who shows her a completely different side to himself once she lets her barriers down. Together they make a formidable pair in a world that she never thought she’d be a part of but who now can’t see herself anywhere else. At the start of this story Drew has become obsessed with finding out the truth about her father’s death, become so fixated that she’s lost herself and left no time for anything else. Meeting Cannon though has her pursuing him for her own wants instead of using him to bring his family down. She might’ve once been an adversary but with each turn of the page she became his partner in and out of the bedroom. Drew’s a very likable heroine, one who’s dedicated to family and is willing to do whatever necessary for that family. Getting to know other members of the Casso family has her conflicted but ready to do what’s necessary to keep Cannon safe in a romance that was sweet and sexy.
From start to finish I enjoyed this sensual and suspenseful read full of surprising twists and turns. The action was nicely balanced with a romance that put a smile on my face while making me blush a time or two. The romance between Cannon and Drew was a satisfying one full of sexual tension that saw each of them grow, gave him more confidence in himself while she opened her heart to the possibilities of getting more out of life for herself. They were immensely protective of each other which gave a vibe of them against the world which had me cheering for them too. Being illegitimate had Cannon desperate to make a connection to his other half-siblings, desperate to find a bond and a family of his own which had him making a few poor choices along the way. Despite those poor choices I found myself wanting to hug him as all he wanted was to belong and seeing him with his half-siblings warmed my heart as they slowly started reconnecting as the story progressed. Seeing his half-siblings was another highlight of this story as these couples had their stories previously told and which had me excited to get an update of them all in this concluding tale that tied many of Ms. March’s book series together. These characters presented themselves as a strong family unit which Cannon needed in his plan to avert war. On a whole this was a quick read full of secrets and suspense that kept me continually on edge as heroes and villains became interchangeable with each turn of the page. The romance was empowering to both Cannon and Drew and had me rooting for them every step of the way. Ms. March crafted yet another well-balanced story that pulled me in wholeheartedly as we raced to a thrilling and rewarding HEA that I definitely recommend to readers looking for an exhilarating and romantic story.
Love that previous characters showed up to help wrap up the Dirty Mafia Duet.
Cannon is a definite winner!
NO SPOILERS!
White Knight was an EPIC finale to the Dirty Mafia Duet! Oh my gosh, what a wild ride Meghan March took me on in the conclusion to Cannon and Drew’s story. I’ve come to expect the unexpected when it comes to a Meghan March novel, but I was definitely not anticipating all of the surprising twists and turns she delivered in White Knight. I was on the edge of my seat from start to finish, and I’m still reeling from the jaw dropping conclusion. Meghan March is a MUST READ author when it comes to romantic suspense, and I can’t wait to devour more of her sexy, suspenseful, and thrilling stories!
Well, reader friends, I can say without reservation that Meghan March knows how to keep us invested. WHITE KNIGHT starts off with a bang, jumping right back into the thick of the action that was coming from every direction at the end of BLACK SHEEP. Man, this is mafia romance at its best, with twists, turns, and revelations enough to keep me guessing right up until the very end.
At the heart of it, WHITE KNIGHT is a love story, on more than one level. Romantic love, familial love, the bonds of friendship, they’re all here, and I fell more in love with Cannon, Drew, and all the rest of the far-flung members of their clan. And, at the end of it, Meghan’s done her usual wonderful job of bringing all the pieces together to give a story that I’ll remember for a long while to come.
As this is a duet, it is an absolute must to read BLACK SHEEP first, because you will be lost if you try to jump right in to this book. And, the truth is, you don’t want to miss one juicy detail, one action-packed minute, of the entire story, believe me. These Cassos are one complex bunch, and the surprises keep coming, one right after the other.
As if all of this wasn’t enough, we get the first look at Gabriel Legend, too, so, y’all, don’t be dawdling, make this duet a part of your must-be-read piles. You’ll be glad that you did. <3
This is the story of Cannon & Drew (Memphis) (Alessandra), Book 2 of the Dirty Mafia Duet. It’s a book that reveals all of what Drew was investigating about her father’s death. It comes to light about her mother, too. Cannon & Drew work together to put everything together. It’s a story that puts you on edge. It’s full of mystery, suspense, great characters and an HEA. Cannon is a pillar of strength and will protect Drew at any cost. There are many twists and turns in this story. Fantastic read!! Can’t wait for Meghan March’s next book.
White Knight: A Dirty Mafia Duet by Meghan March is absolute perfection!
Meghan brought all the guns in this book! She will literally have you second guessing everything you think you know. And then leave your heart racing and your head spinning.
I absolutely love Cannon and Memphis. And most of all I love the way Meghan brings so many previous characters together for Camio’s throughout this book.
She truly did a phenomenal job of weaving a storyline filled with mystery, suspense, murder, and romance.
Get ready to hang on for a wild ride!
5 Stars
I loved the conclusion of another duet by Meghan! This mafia duet was one of my favorites.
I always expect crazy turns and suspense in a book by her but this one was beyond what I anticipated. Cannon was just so delicious and the most amazing hero. The last book in the series leaves you in a big cliffhanger so I had high hope for white knight and it delivered!
I dont want to spoil anything but please one click this series. Drew and Cannon are hot and the suspense is going to keep you on the edge of your seat and you will be flipping the pages fast to get to the next crazy turn.
Love love love it
The conclusion to the Mafia Duet did not disappoint. Meghan March packs a a whole lot of punch in White Knight. Cannon and Drew have come a long way. Secrets and lies are exposed and new new revelations come to light. The twists and turns complicate the story even more.
I love that Drew and Cannon solidify their relationship. They love each other and have each other’s back. It’s strong, sexy and endearing. There are also cameos by previous characters that while I haven’t read their stories I was given enough information to understand and to entice me to go and read their books.
Overall a great duet that was fast paced, sexy and with a nice suspense twist.
picking up right where black sheep left off, white knight continues cannon and memphis’ story. and it’s one wild ride. from hard truth to hard truth, the one thing that remains steadfast is how strongly these two feel for each other. it’s so deeply romantic, that connection between them, how fully committed they are to being on one another’s side.
we see old friends and meet some new ones. but all in all white knight is the perfect companion to black sheep. and it might be slightly blasphemous to say, but cannon might be my favorite casso yet. i mean, creighton is always amazing, but there has been an edge to cannon that makes him so interesting and to see all his defenses down and the man he’s become, the power that he learns to wield throughout the story is beyond amazing.
andi arndt and sebastian york narrate the audible exclusive books. and they are perfectly cast as memphis and cannon. sebastian york is always a little shaky on accents, but otherwise this is a delight to read and to listen to. you can enjoy the full series on audio now, and white knight will release in ebook form in october.
**white knight will release on audio on august 6, 2019 and will publish in ebook and paperback formats on october 1, 2019. i received an advance reader copy courtesy of meghan march.
I shouldn’t be surprised that Meghan has blown me away with another OMG THIS BOOK IS EVERYTHING book, by now, but how does she do it?!
Just when you think you’ve got it all figured out BAM! Nope! She can take you on twists and turns in her stories, like a rollercoaster in a theme park. This story made me breathless at times, shaking my head, heart pumping, teary eyed and everything in between!
You can’t help but fall in love with everyone in this book. And yep even Dom a little bit! Cannon and Memphis steal the show, but everyone else is like the whip cream on the Meghan March sundae that is this book.
I loved getting to see some of the past characters again…Hello Creighton & Holly! I could not put this book down, and read it in one sitting. The suspense just kept me glued to the pages, not able to turn them fast enough!
