Wow, just freaking WOW!!! Meghan never ceases to amaze me with her words and the stories that unfold…..she definitely floored me with this one! White Knight was intense, thrilling, spellbinding and had me gripping my tablet from the twists and turns that absolutely left me mind-blown! After reading Black Sheep I had theories of what was to come with this book and let me just say that I was left gasping from the bombshells that landed page after page, that never in a million years would I have guessed the outcome! This is one book that will leave you begging for so much more!
Once again, Meghan March knocked me sideways. Thank goodness this one picked up right where the first book left off. I think my heart started racing as soon as I cracked my kindle open. And I know you can’t see me but my jaw is still on the dang floor after finishing White Knight.
There was so much happening to and for Cannon and Memphis that I never knew what the next page would bring. All I did know was that when they were together, it was electric. Deception and hiding were no more. Memphis gave Cannon her whole truth and his reaction more than surprised her.
It was nice seeing the softer, more romantic side of Cannon. The side reserved only for Memphis. That’s not to say these two didn’t get down and dirty cause they did, but there was more of an emotional connection between them this go round. However, with the feud between the Casso and Rosetti families escalating, no one was safe…
Talk about addicting. Meghan March had me hanging on every word because they all mattered. Seriously don’t blink or you’ll miss something big. Holy smokes the secrets revealed blew my mind. And that ending! Gah! I couldn’t have asked for anything more fitting for Memphis and Cannon. It left my belly fluttery and heart happy.

The conclusion to the Dirty Mafia Duet was everything, each time I think I have a favorite character she goes and writes another that I adore. Cannon and Drew are fantastic together and after the cliffhanger from the first book, I was holding my breath at who was going to bite the bullet. I felt bad for the character who got the blunt of Dominics wrath, but thankfully Cannon whose heart of gold keeps getting him in a bind, helps out.
Be prepare for all the twist and turns you could ever want, the Casso family really comes together in the book too, with all of Cannon’s half brothers and sisters coming together and fixing the tension that Dominic created. Which mean the readers get to see so many past characters come together which makes me love reading March’s stories even more, because I love seeing how past couples are doing.
Cannon uncovers Drew’s secrets so their relationship is tested to the max and it really shows also just how lovable Cannon is. He may be alpha but this guy really melts the heart. In the end I have a new favorite duo next to my Mount trilogy favorite. As always March introduces the next alpha, Legend and boy am I excited to see what this man is going to bring to the table, he already has me hooked!
Meghan March is one of my absolute favorite authors because of the characters that she creates! She has blown this one out of the water with this amazing duet! I love the characters and the love that they fight for! The story was amazing with action, heart, and a whole lot of heat! Man, did I feel like I needed a shot and cigarette after a couple of those sexy scenes!!! Must read!!!!
This is an epic conclusion for the Dirty Mafia Duet! As I have come to expect from this author, the cliffhanger was worth the wait (and this time it didn’t feel as bad because the audiobook was there when I couldn’t wait any longer)!
Cannon has a lot of soul searching to do after the things he learns at the end of Black Sheep. Having always been on the outer edge of the family, he is a little lost when what he thought he knew is revealed to be a lie. I hated that she had to lie to him, but I also loved what was learned as a result of those lies, on both sides. His half-siblings also play a role in his decisions, and though he has always felt separate from them, I loved the way they come together here.
Cannon and Drew have more than that first scene to navigate and none of their choices were easy to make. They are both protective of the ones they love, and once they work through Drew’s lies and start to get to the bottom of why she was looking into the Casso family in the first place, their commitment to each other is put to the test in some very surprising ways.
This is a fast paced conclusion with surprises hidden throughout. And that final twist was one I never saw coming. I kept wondering how they were going to resolve all the problems they were circling around and in all my wildest imaginings I couldn’t have come up with a better twist for this couple.
I received a copy of the ebook for free from the author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
White Knight is the conclusion of Cannon and Drew’s story. It’s filled with twists and turns that you don’t see coming and definitely aren’t expecting! The chemistry is hotter than ever between Cannon and Drew. I absolutely adore Meghan’s writing and can’t wait for what she writes next!!!!!
Meghan….
White Knight was soooo good!!! I was worried after that cliffy from book one (which ladies you definitely need to read Black Sheep first before reading White Knight.)
Meghan I know you love leaving us readers hanging on for dear life until you release that 2nd book, but what’s that ole’ saying again???
All good things that come to those who wait!!
Yess that one, and yesss you will definitely be rewarded when you finally get White Knight in your hands!!!
5 “I love Meghan March’s Mafia books” Stars!!!!! Love love LOVED Cannon and Memphis story!!!
Cant wait to see what you have in store for us next Meghan!!! xoxo
Yesssss, I loved Cannon and Memphis! There’s just something about a bad mafia guy with a heart of gold. Cannon was one of those true alpha males that you can’t help but fall in love with. He finds the woman he wants, decides to keep her and protects her with his whole self. Memphis has that fierce, determined spirit to seek justice and let nothing get in her way. Great chemistry, addictive characters and a family you grow to love. I couldn’t stop turning the pages because I felt such a bond to these characters and what’s going to happen to them next!
Going into White Knight I couldn’t even begin to imagine the journey I was about to take. This book had it all and I couldn’t put it down! Such an amazing conclusion to this duet.
White Knight was a killer conclusion to this duet. I’d like to give a standing ovation to the author for absolutely killing it. White Knight was suspenseful and exciting. I love, love, loved the fact that we see some of the couples that we love from the authors other series as they are related to Cannon. It reminded me how much I missed those characters. Nonetheless, this one gets real exciting as the feud with the Casso family has reached its boiling point. We have some surprising turn of events that got me super excited and added to the suspense in the best way possible. Needless to say that I am so happy with this book.
NARRATORS: ANDI ARNDT/SEBASTIAN YORK
OMG Cannon! He’s everything! The conclusion to the Black Sheep/White Knight duet gives me all the feels. I just love these 2 characters and all they’ve been through. I also really loved the cameos of other characters from the Casso crime family. You do NOT want to miss this duet by Meghan March!
Audio Review:
White Knight (The Dirty Mafia Duet) is the ending of Cannon and Drew/Memphis explosive lovestory. Absolutely loved this duet and hope to get a chance to listen to this authors other books. The writing style is captivating and creative. Suspense drizzled through out the narrative, a well crafted mafia romance with unexpected twists. I loved this one even more than book one and I loved book one. On cloud nine with the ending.
A highly passionate listen.
Sebastian York, Andi Arndt performance was impeccable. Loved everything about it. Both brought their own. Character’s were easily distinctable. Perfect dual narration.
Gave the second have of this duet 5 freaking stars…..it was amazballs fantastic!!!
Cannon and Memphis were the sweetest couple to me, I was very happy how their story ended.
Getting to read about all of my other favs couples again was really cool Thank You Meghan March
This romance was really fun to listen to. It’s a classic romance of a crime family’s son who’s fallen for the enemy’s daughter. As an illegitimate son, he Cannon has always been the black sheep of the family. Now he has to decide between his father and the woman he loves.
I absolutely love this world that Meghan March continues to write it. I love seeing glimpses into everyone’s lives and how she vines them all together. The twist in this book with Memphis was jaw dropping and I definitely didn’t see it coming. Another well written, fabulous book by this awesome author!
Meghan March is the queen of intrigue and romance combined. Then you have Sebastian York as
Cannon Freeman YUM. The story of Cannon and Memphis continue in the final book of this duet.
Lots of the players from previous books by Ms. March are included. The twists and turns this
book has keep you turning the next page. You find out if Cannon becomes a mobster like his father
Dom Casso, or goes legit. Does Memphis, find her father’s killer?? All this and more are brought
to light in the conclusion of this duet. This book was like a conclusion to all the previous Casso
family members and does have a HEA.
Holy moly!
I DEVOURED this book in one sitting. I simply could not put it down, nor did I want to.
We pick up right where we left off in Black Sheep and boy we don’t waste any time getting right back into the action. Cannon and Drew are pushed to the limits in this book but they both know no matter what, they are meant to be together. They have such passion and drive for themselves as well as for each other. In this book we see how much both honestly and truly LOVE each other. They would do anything to keep each other safe, happy and of course satisfied 😉 I’m honestly constantly surprised when it comes to Meghan March’s books. There are always twists and turns, but every single time I find myself saying out loud “WTF! I never saw that one coming.” Her books never disappoint me and I recommend her to anyone who will listen.
If you are looking for a steamy mafia duet for your next read?? Pick these books up!
Solid read!

Good
Meghan writes another great read. Crime family, danger and deception. Memphis and Cannon have a strong connection connection and things turn out well and not so criminal after all.
This is a single story broken into two books. That being said, it’s everything I like to see in a romance where the story revolves around each of the main characters’ lives. And while they fall in love along the way, there are events outside that play on them in various ways. Cannon’s and Drew’s story hit the romance beats just right to pull me through and offered an outstanding HEA!
The Heroine: “Drew”
Why I enjoyed her
Drew was a driven character from the very beginning. I really enjoyed that she started out Black Sheep with a purpose and that drove throughout the remainder of the duet.
What any reader will love about her
She is strong and determined. But even greater, she has depth, it’s clear that there’s a story that needs to unfold around her. In romance, (at least for me) it is necessary for the story to be a character’s story. I tend to lose interest when a romance story is only about the relationship. Yes, romance wouldn’t be romance without the relationship, but characters are so much more than a relationship, and when that comes through, the romance stands out even more. In this case, Meghan March nails that balance.
What readers will hate about her (her flaw)
Dres is headstrong to the point of being reckless. It makes for her ending up in some interesting predicaments, but it did become a little overbearing at times.
The Hero: Cannon
Why a reader will fall in love with him
Cannon is the purported “Black Sheep” of a mob family. Yes, he’s ultra-sexy. Yes, he’s dominant. Yes, he’s all the things you want in an alpha. However, he’s also complex, has been bruised by broken family ties in the past, and has a down-to-earth side.
What readers will hate about him (his flaw)
Well, if you don’t like men to be overbearing by nature, Cannon isn’t for you. His weakness throughout most of the story, however, is that he lives in an environment of crime, but he is truly a good guy and cannot extricate himself from that life–even though he operates as a legit business owner.
The Problem
Drew is there to expose the family. Cannon is protecting something he has a duty toward but is conflicted with.
The Story Score: 94% (I gave Black Sheep 4* and White Knight 5*, balances out to 4.5)
