Buck rescues a woman in the Virgin Islands after her helicopter is shot down and she has amnesia. Turns out she is the First Lady of France and assassins are trying to kill her, and now Buck as they flee throughout the islands.
Buck Reilly. Just reading his name brings up visions of beautiful women, beautiful islands, rum, and adventure. White Knight has all of this and more. It seems like every successive Buck book becomes my favorite of the series, and this one is no exception to the rule!

Buck Reilly’s soft side comes out in Cunningham’s latest action/adventure novel. Along with high seas adventure, there is much more romance than expected. It’s wonderful to see this side of the down on his luck character. Read the latest tropical romp in under 24 hours. Talk about page-turner.

John H. Cunningham author of White Knight: A Buck Reilly Adventure writes a fast paced and exciting quick read which draws you right in. Even though this is the 8th book in this series it can very well be read as a standalone. You will have no problems following the story line. I assure you that once you read this book you will want to go back and read the rest of the series. It seems that every new book is better than the one before it. Once you start this book you will not want to put it down so make sure you have a comfortable chair, yours snacks and get ready to hunker down for several hours. I could not keep turning the pages fast enough to see all the surprises, twists and turns. I love that this book takes place in the Virgin Islands, sun warmth and mayhem. The characters are well defined and believable. If this is your first book by John H. Cunningham do not hesitate reading this whole series you will not be sorry. I am anxiously waiting for the next book to come out. Awesome book!!!!

Buck Reily is the Indiana Jones of the Sea! Charming, handsome, and full of personality, Reilly finds himself thrust in the middle of an international scandal with a beautiful woman. Fast paced and full of adventure; White Knight:A Buck Reilly Adventure is a thrill from start to finish! Easily a stand alone suspense or a fantastic addition to an already excitement filled series! I was introduced to this series last year and absolutely love reading them!

This is my second Buck Reilly adventure, and I think it’s safe to say that chaos follows him wherever he goes. But along with that chaos comes a lot of fast-paced adventure. This was a book that I blew through in just a few sittings. It was a great escape during the madness that is the holiday season (hello international armchair travel!), and I really appreciated that.
I will mention that I didn’t feel a strong connection to Reilly, although I expected that going in. Yes, he’s capable of looking out for others (he did pull a woman out of a sinking helicopter after all), but there’s something about him that strikes me as just a bit too aloof to connect with. That being said, this personality trait is perfect for the storyline. So unless being fully connected to a character is a dealbreaker for you, I think most readers will be fine with it.

My Thoughts:
Today is my stop on the White Knight Book Tour with Suzy Approved Book Tours!
This is not the first Buck Reilly book by this author. There are seven other Buck Reilly Adventure Books, but this can be read as a stand alone. There are a few references to situations he’s been in in the past, but not too many to make you think you need to read the first seven books to follow this one.
Buck is portrayed as a good guy who tends to find himself in sticky situations. This is nothing new. Once he rescues from the crash, the hunt is on. Expect Buck is the one being hunted.
This guy is resourceful as all can be! Buck has made a lot of acquaintances in the past and they are ready and willing to use all their knowledge and resources to help him.
As he and Giselle search for the evidence of the assault she witnessed, they are forced to island hop and stay one step ahead of the FBI and her husbands people. They will stop at nothing, go so far as to put a $50 million bounty on her dead or alive.
I thought this was a very quick read. Very entertaining. Adventure and danger at every turn! Throw in a little romance and you’ve got yourself a page turner! Buck Reilly is a character you’ll want more of after you finish this one.
This book will make you want to start with the very first Buck Reilly Adventure Book: Red Right Return.
Thank you John C. Cunningham and Suzy Approved Book Tours for letting me be on this book tour!

John H. Cunningham, Author of “White Knight: A Buck Reilly Adventure” has written a captivating, intriguing, intense, riveting, thrilling adventure and fast action paced novel. There are twists and turns, betrayals, danger, rescue, and murder. The timeline for this novel is the present and goes to the past when it pertains to the characters and events. The setting for this story is in the Virgin Islands and surrounding areas. The author describes his characters as complicated, complex, and motivated.
If Buck Reilly thinks that he can have just an ordinary vacation, he should know that is just not possible. After a disappointment, Buck witnesses a white streak hit a helicopter crash into the water. Dashing off, he is able to rescue one woman, who has a head injury. Buck takes her to his boat and helps her. First, the woman seems to have amnesia, but then as she regains her memory, she reveals that she is Giselle Huibert, the First Lady of France. Giselle fears for her safety and won’t let Buck call law enforcement or her home country. It appears someone was trying to shoot the helicopter down.
Buck realizes that he will have to be the one to find out the questions and answers to what is going on. This starts a cat and mouse chase to survive. The problem is who can be trusted? There is edgy suspense and I found myself page-turning to find Buck and Giselle in one dangerous situation to another more dangerous situation. I would highly recommend this suspenseful and high action novel.
