This is a nonstop action thriller on a par with any Jack Reacher or Mitch Rapp novels. Tanner is an amazing and intriguing character. The plot is fast paced and extremely hard to put down.
could not get past first few chapters
Great character development.
Hard to put down.
Good read. Well paced.
Read the entire series!
This was a pager turner for me, and I am very hard to impress. I haved eep-sixed books after just a few pages. I loved the characters, Tanner was a stand out man of the hour. I enjoyed the book tremendously, and hated to see it end
This is ythe first time I’ve read any by this author and I really like his work. He’s a great writer and is very interesting to read!
A powerful book. much intrigue and adventure and a couple of kicks** lead charachters.
Fast paced light reading
MY FIRST “TANNER” BOOK. ENJOYED IT SO MUCH, I ORDERED THE OTHER 18 BOOKS IN THE SERIES. READING NOW #14.
to predictable
Love the Tanner series!
Great book.
White Hell starts off pretty exciting with Tanner and Sara’s plane getting shot down over a frozen lake in Siberia. Then they try getting out of there alive, in a snow storm, with groups of men after them. The writing is vivid but violent with lots of murders. There is a twist to this story where the pair rescue Polina, a 14-year-old Russian girl, who had been kidnapped. Then we see a different side to Tanner. Not the cold, unemotional assassin but a kind and considerate man. We also learn a bit about his childhood. Some of the men who are after them want the girl back, adding to the problem of getting home alive.
I liked the idea of this book but, for me, there were just too many villains to keep straight. They were all after this pair for different reasons but were all in the same place at the same time. Now Tanner and Sara were great. They were ‘good guys’ and just about everybody else were ‘bad guys’ chasing them.
I liked Tanner but I didn’t find him believable. He was like a superhero. He could sneak up on anybody and kill them without them knowing he was close.
My rating for this book is 2.5 stars. While it wasn’t for me, if you like stories with mercenaries and killers, you will like White Hell.
An unexpected adventure. Well enough written that I felt cold and threatened.
Great book to read. Could not put it down
This is the first book I’ve read in the series but it made a fine stand-alone. If I find any of the older book they will be like a prequil. I liked this book because it was not a clone of every other action book I’ve read recently. Time well spent.
Another can’t put down by Remmington Kane. White Hell is book 17 in the Tanner Novel series. Each book could be a standalone but the written roller coaster is even better reading this series in order. The characters and storyline continue to grow in leaps and bounds. Nobody settles a score like Tanner!
