Two best friends follow a dangerous and seductive path in the final standalone novel of the bestselling Whiskey and Lies series from NYT Bestselling Author Carrie Ann Ryan.Ainsley Harris has always kept a secret from her best friend. She’s stood by his side, helped him raise his daughter, and tried to keep her distance even though she’s been in love with him for years. She knows he has secrets of … secrets of his own and she’s not willing to chance what they have on a possibility.
Loch Collins has hidden himself and his past from the world for good reason. Darkness always comes back to haunt those who fight against it, and he knows better than most. One night of temper, however, forces him to realize his true feelings for Ainsley—for better or worse.
But Loch’s former allies aren’t on his side anymore, and now not only is his life and the life of his daughter on the line, but Ainsley is in the crosshairs, as well. Together, two best friends must fight for each other and their small town, because Whiskey has never burned brighter. And danger, it seems, is ever lurking.

The end of a series is always hard, you have to say goodbye to characters you have grown to love, knowing that they are forever in your mind, but not with the Whiskey and Lies series. Carrie Ann Ryan is sure to make each of these brothers show up in some of her Montgomery books. They are just that great!
Loch and Ainsley finally get the book that we have been waiting for. So many twists and scary stuff going on here. Emotions were all over the chart with this one. The things these characters go through for love, oh my!
You have DONE it again Carrie.
What is it about the brooding with a side of sensitive that hits me so hard? I want a Loch of my own to get cave man on me lol. Ainsley is his perfect match in everyway and I believe what they have was definitely worth the wait. I will definitely miss the Town of Whiskey.
I’ve been waiting for Loch and Ainsley’s book and it was certainly worth it. Their journey gave me all the feels. Perfect mix of angst, suspense and sexy times.
Sad the Whiskey & Lies series is ending but can’t wait to see what Carrie Ann Ryan delivers next.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.
Oh my!!! Love this book!! A great ending to the series!! I love how they were friends first and their relationship evolved!! Love is generally not found overnight!! It grows. I like how Tinsley did not just walk away from Loch and that she fought for them. Loved this book!!
This series was excellent!!! Whiskey Undone was Loch and Ainsley’s story. Best friends finally realizing what was in front of them the whole time! I loved this story!
Oh I really loved these two together, but man oh man, did they bring the water works with their story!
Ainsley and Loch fell into being best friends without any rhyme or reason. Then, once Loch’s daughter was born and her mother signed off rights to her, Ainsley became an even bigger part of Loch’s life, helping him out with his little girl. Ainsley has always loved Loch, but didn’t want to lose her best friend. Loch is ridiculously afraid of changing things between him and Ainsley, because he has issues about relationships
Then, everything bubbles up, and we get to see how silly Loch’s thought process truly is, and how kick-butt Ainsley really is. I loved that she fought for what she wanted and took no guff from her buddy. I smiled at his confusion, and railed at his actions he took in that confusion.
They are electric together, and all the familiarity from being friends for years, only ramps up the wattage!
Love, love, loved this one. Loch and Ainsley definitely have a curvey road ahead of them trying to figure themselves, the whodunit and the why’s out. This book gave me just what I was looking for…murder and mayhem, best friends, romance, family and a beautiful HEA.
These BFFs cannot be Undone…
So much goes on in this romantic thrill ride. Best friends for so long can Loch and Ainsley be more or is that going to sever their connection? Their emotional tug of war breaks your heart, then big baddies come into play keeping you on the edge of your seat. I love Carrie’s writing style, her characters always have clear well defined voices, and a world built to lure you in and make yourself at home. I sure have enjoyed my time in Whiskey.
As this is the third book in the series we already know and love all the characters and have just been waiting for Loch and Ainsley to realise what everyone else already knows, that they make the perfect couple. This is a romance but there is a lot of suspense mixed in and of course no good romance is complete without a little heartbreak. I cried but there is a happy ending, and it is nice to catch up with all the Collins family members and see how they are getting along.
