Sparks fly between a former cop-turned-bartender and his new innkeeper in the first installment of a Montgomery Ink spin-off series from NYT Bestselling Author Carrie Ann Ryan. Dare Collins is a man who knows his whiskey and women—or at least that’s what he tells himself. When his family decides to hire on a new innkeeper for the inn above his bar and restaurant, he’s more than reluctant. … reluctant. Especially when he meets the new hire. But he’ll soon find that he has no choice but to work with this city girl and accept her new ideas and the burning attraction between them.
Kenzie Owens left her old life and an abusive relationship behind her—or so she thought. She figures she’ll be safe in Whiskey, Pennsylvania but after one look at her new boss, Dare Collins, she might still be in danger, or at least her heart. And when her past catches up with her despite her attempts to avoid it, it’s more than her heart on the line. This time, it might mean her life.

Loved it! Can’t wait to see read the rest of the series!

I love the series books when you get to know each character individually. A little more graphic than I needed though.
Great read. Thanks.
I loved the characters.
I love the character Kenzie cuz in this story she could be a good role model to others
The only bad thing I have to say about this book was it was way too short! I want more! I love all the Montgomery Ink series1
Was a good book for light easy reading.

Loved Whiskty Secrets. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
A tad formulaic and obvious, but a fun romp too– I finished it happily
Great Read
Dare was running the bar & restaurant and was wanting more time with his son, but he also wanted his parents to slow down. He & his brothers agree. Kenzie is hired to take on the duties for the in and her bosses haven’t told their children yet. But there is a spark between Date & Kenzie.
Enjoyed this plot & the overall writing style. Characters were developed beyond the typical surface plot, gave it a more developed feel. I will look for further books by this author.
The characters are lovable, but the wishy-washy repetitive self doubts are exhausting.
I loved the characters and it has lots of drama and passion. The storyline kept my interest. It was realistic and entertaining
Too much sex and adultey. Trashy talk.
