Yale professor Dr. Edward Kender’s father is undergoing chemotherapy when the supply of a critical accompanying drug suddenly runs out. Unwilling to accept the drug company’s disingenuous excuse of production line problems, Dr. Kender hires private investigator Erin Pulaski to prove that something more sinister is going on at Schiffer Hartwin. Meanwhile, in Maryland, married FBI agents Lacey … agents Lacey Sherlock and Dillon Savich are investigating a rather unusual case: Senator David Hoffman is experiencing a ghostly apparition with possible malicious intent. The case is baffling, and Sherlock and Savich are not sure what to believe, even after witnessing the disturbing specter for themselves. They’re no closer to cracking the case when a call comes in from Connecticut: A top foreign Schiffer Hartwin employee has been found murdered behind the drug company’s U.S. headquarters.
Unbeknownst to the FBI, Erin Pulaski had uncovered a bombshell in her investigation: The Culovort shortage is set to bring in a windfall profit in excess of two billion dollars. Upon learning of the murder, Erin is certain it has something to do with her findings, but she risks exposing herself by coming forward. As the feds move in, the case becomes even more complicated for Erin, since the murder of a foreign national on federal land can mean only that the pharmaceutical house has a secret of epic proportions-one it would do anything to keep hidden.

Brown once again scored a hit here.
Anything Catherine Coulter writes is a must read.
Love her books, have read many of them. Good entertainment.
Love all the books by this author and this was not a disappointment
I love all books by Catherine Coulter
too much like a parody of Hillary…hated it and couldn’t finish it
Great
I love Catherine Coulter and the Sherlock-Savich series but I have to say I didn’t feel this one was as well written as others. It seemed a little too rushed without bringing the two stories together smoothly. I felt like I was jumping back and forth trying to keep the characters and stories straight. This seemed to lack the refinement & editing of her other books. That being said, I still enjoyed and look forward to seeing more of Erin Pulaski in the future.
I really enjoy reading Catherine Coulter FBI series with her wonderful characters.
great characters
I liked this book because it kept me interested and engaged. It was well thought out and had an element of “who did it?” The characters were fun.
Catherine Coulter never fails to disappoint. I had read this book when it was first published and wanted to read it again.
Have read most of FBI books. Husband & Wife main characters.
I love this series. The characters are well developed and the little boy is great.
Great read. Bends real world a bit (haha), but well done regardless. Packs A LOT and characters ARE characters. Great escape 99.9%.
Another good one from Ms. Coulter.
I a big fan of her writing and this series!!
Slow plot, character names must be British, have up after 25% of book.
I love Sherlock & Savich
Savage and Sherlock are again chasing criminals. I love these characters and have followed them on many escapades. They hold you attention to the very end.
