Yale professor Dr. Edward Kender’s father is undergoing chemotherapy when the supply of a critical accompanying drug suddenly runs out. Unwilling to accept the drug company’s disingenuous excuse of production line problems, Dr. Kender hires private investigator Erin Pulaski to prove that something more sinister is going on at Schiffer Hartwin. Meanwhile, in Maryland, married FBI agents Lacey … agents Lacey Sherlock and Dillon Savich are investigating a rather unusual case: Senator David Hoffman is experiencing a ghostly apparition with possible malicious intent. The case is baffling, and Sherlock and Savich are not sure what to believe, even after witnessing the disturbing specter for themselves. They’re no closer to cracking the case when a call comes in from Connecticut: A top foreign Schiffer Hartwin employee has been found murdered behind the drug company’s U.S. headquarters.
Unbeknownst to the FBI, Erin Pulaski had uncovered a bombshell in her investigation: The Culovort shortage is set to bring in a windfall profit in excess of two billion dollars. Upon learning of the murder, Erin is certain it has something to do with her findings, but she risks exposing herself by coming forward. As the feds move in, the case becomes even more complicated for Erin, since the murder of a foreign national on federal land can mean only that the pharmaceutical house has a secret of epic proportions-one it would do anything to keep hidden.

There is not such thing as a bad Catherine Coulter book.
Her books are always a good read.
Love this series. Keep them coming!!!
Catherine Coulter is another one of those authors… thank goodness… that is ALWAYS worth your reading time. I am already on the wait list for her new book coming out this summer because I KNOW I will never be disappointed by this author.
love the book I’m really hook
I can’t seem to get enough of Dillon and Sherlock! Such an amazing couple . They each are brilliant and at the top of their games. The plot on this installment involves an international drug shortage for cancer patients. There is a growing list of suspects to keep you guessing and plenty of well fleshed out characters to make you love or hate. Great read!
Coulter never disappoints. She is one of the few authors I know I will be getting a good and interesting read.
Great as all her books
Great story.
fan of Catherine Coulter, especially her FBI series
When ever Savage and Sherlock are involved, it’s always a great read.
Usually like Catherine Coulter’s books, but I just did not like this one.
Always looking forward for her next book, wouldn’t want to miss any esp. FBI seres
Went on and the n about unrelated stuff, got boring, hard to stay interested. Ex. kept bringing Shaun into picture when not necessary and didn’t really fit, just tended to wander at times. Book could have been a lot shorter.
Enjoyable
I read this book from our local library enjoyed it so much that I purchased not for my Kindle
i love these books with the husband and wife FBI agents.
Always read her books.
As always Catherine Coulter knows how to keep you turning page after page until you have finished the book.
I always find Coulter books a page turner with characters that I have come to love.
