A lot has happened in this book! I actually enjoyed it. All the characters are different. This is such a unique twist to this story that make is completely different. I do have to say the aunt is annoying and am shocked she isn’t teaching or telling the girls more about their history. I suspect foul ideas about her and we’ll see if they come true. I’m going straight into the next book!
This is an unexpected and intriguing book. I am not quite sure how to categorize the story. It is written with characters living in modern times that have existed for centuries. They are living human lives with supernatural powers. The overarching part of the story that ties them all together is family and the need for love. Four sisters separated as babies are now back together. Four guys are trying to keep them apart. Each guy who is sent after them is attracted to one of them. It is a real interesting mix of characters on both sides. There are a series of hilarious mishaps as the sisters get to know each other. The rest of the series should be just as good as each of the sisters and the guys make decisions about the rest of their lives.

Four identical sisters are prophesied to hold the fate of the entire world in their powerful hands.
Meet the Witches of Port Townsend…
The de Moray sisters clash with the most dangerous immortals the earth has ever known. Locked on opposing sides of a battle older than time, their fight is only the beginning…of the end.
Moira by Cynthia St. Aubin
A water witch, Moira has always been a healer, but the one soul she can’t mend is her own. When a magical spell summons her away from the safety of the Bayou, she doesn’t foresee that Conquest, the first deadly Horseman of the Apocalypse is the mysterious danger she’d been hiding from. But the discoveries don’t stop there, she has three sisters who looks exactly like her, and their stories are as unbelievable as her own.
My review : Moira was found and raised in the bayous, and while she is a magic touch for healing, the way she uses her gift keep her apart of the others. Adored by men and hated by women. Yet, when she feels a magic call to go home, she encounters Nick on her way, a man determined to have her and drawn to her even if he well aware of the events under way because of her coming. They are instantly drawn to another but both play on opposite sides.
Moira is a fun character, she needs to stand a bit for herself and Nick seems the man to help, if they weren’t working one against the other.
Claire by Cyndi Stark
A fire witch, Claire’s a passionate woman cursed by her powers, longing to find someone who can withstand her love. She believes she’s forever destined to be alone until she receives a message summoning her “home.” The world’s most violent man stands between her and her family, and even if she wins the battle, she may lose her heart to War.
My review : Claire longs to belong but she only get a glimpse at love, sucking the flame out of it but in the end, she is left empty, until her encounter with a man who truly fire her blood, it just damn unfortunate he wants her dead. Dru knows what he had to do but something upon meeting Claire changed, he wants something else than killing and fighting.
Their relationship is one of dominance and attraction, yet when promises are broken, what is left of them.
Aerin by Kerrigan Byrne
An air witch, Aerin is a ruthless businesswoman well on her way to ruling the corporate world, until she discovers she not only has three identical sisters, but their fates are entwined with the apocalypse. When she meets Pestilence, an immortal whose destiny is to wipe out entire civilizations, she not only withstands his lethal touch, she craves it.
My review : Aerin rose from nothing, now a wealthy and powerful business woman in the tech medicale world. So of course, Pestilence was the right opponent. I like Julian, while a warrior of destruction, and unable to change his fate, he has empathy with his victims and the havoc he let loose on the world. Together they are great as they feel instant recognition yet they are enemies. Thus the dilemma of what is to come.
Tierra by Tiffinie Helmer
An earth witch, Tierra is all about nature and nurturing her relationships with her newfound sisters. Family means everything to her, and she’ll do whatever she must to keep her sisters safe. But unless she can resist Death himself, humanity’s prospects are grim.
My review : Tierra is the sole sister who has known whom she was all her life, thus she does not question her gift. Yet, she always felt like something was missing. So when she is certain of her identity, she questions everything else after meeting her siblings. They are everything she is not, sexually assured women going where they want when she never once had a lover. Why she challenged herself to change it, and yes, she did it. Bane is the endpoint in the foursome the Horsemen of the Apocalypse are. After him, there is nothing else. So when a chance encounter put him on Tierra’s path, will he follow his orders …
This four-voices story instantly sucked me, each of the sister has her own very peculiar upbringing and personality, they are all a challenge in themselves and while sometime obnoxious of what’s going on around them, they are no easy prey, they fight to the last breath for themselves and the others.
A much enjoyable read, and now I need to know what comes after.
4.5 stars

This book is a compilation by bestselling authors Kerrigan Byrne, Tiffinie Helmer, Cynthia St. Aubin and Cindy Stark. Each author tells the tale of one sister witch, separated from her family and reunited by magic. As quadruplets living apart, they each had their own magic. But an ancient prophecy foretold that should the sister reunite, their combined magic would bring about the end of the world. This book tells the tales of each sister witch’s reunion with her family as well as their struggle to survive against the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Moira, the water witch, survives her clash with Nick, Conquest. Claire, the fire witch, withstands her assault by and Dru, War. Aerin, the wind witch, recovers from her bout with Julian, Pestilence. And Tierra, the earth witch, endures her brush with Killian, Death. Four of the seven criteria of the prophecy are met. I look forward to continuing that tale in the next book. The 4 tales flow seamlessly together. They are full of sexy, strong women who find their powers and survive together.
