I WILL RUIN HER.You know that old saying “opposites attract” — well, no one ever tells you what happens after the attraction part.Do opposites stick together forever?Or do they just self-combust?And then there’s the third option: someone or something forces them apart.Look, the third option isn’t happening to us. I will end the bastard who thinks he can keep me from her. I only need to worry … he can keep me from her. I only need to worry about one thing. . .
Epic, soul-crushing self-destruction.
Because I screw up everything I touch.
Even her.
Wherever You Are is Book 2 in the Bad Reputation Duet and should be read after Book 1, Whatever It Takes.

I’m so depressed right now, whew.
This book was everything. I laughed, I cried, I smiled, I wanted to die a little. But ultimately, it left me feeling so hopeful.
There will never be another couple so perfect for each other. Willow and Garrison shouldn’t make sense, but they fit so well. They complete each other in such a beautiful way. They’re patient with each other, they support one another. They were two lost people who happened to find each other exactly when they needed someone.
I won’t say much about the plot. You don’t have to ready any of KB’s other series to read this, but you do need to read book 1 of this duet. WYA picks up right after WIT left off. Garrison is in a really bad place emotional and mentally. Willow is trying to navigate college, her long distance relationship with Garrison, and keep her friendships alive.
“Wherever you are, no matter if it’s right next to me or a thousand miles away,” I say, “I’m tied to you with a tread that can’t break. We’re connect by some thing stronger than time or place.”
Like I said, the romance is amazing. This is KBs sweetest and softest couple ever, and I very much doubt they’ll write another couple like this soon. But beyond the romance, the sibling relationship between Willow, Lo, and Ryke was amazing. Each relationship was different, but no less special.
Daisy and Willow are my favorite friendship ever. They are so cute, I’d take an entire book just based on their friendship. Also, seeing Garrison slowly get closer to Connor, Ryke, and Loren was beautiful. Seeing him accept the fact that he does deserve respect and love and kindness brought tears to my eyes.
“Connor, Ryke, and Lo—they protect me all the time. They care about me when they don’t have to. These are three brothers that I’d never trade in, never swap out, and even though we’re not blood related, I know they’re mine.”
I wouldn’t change one thing about this book. I have an epic book hangover right now. I literally finished the book not one hour ago. I have no idea what I’m going to do with the rest of my day.
I liked the characters of this duet of books but got really tired of the repetitiveness. The rest of the Addicted Series was much better.
I’m merging Whatever it Takes and Wherever You Are into one review because it’s a duet and there really isn’t a dramatic cliffhanger at the end of the first book. The second book is merely a seamless continuation of the story.
Garrison and Willow finally get their own book after being side characters in the Addicted series. You can definitely read this duet without having read the series. However, I think I enjoyed the duet exponentially more because I was familiar with most of the key characters involved.
Garrison Abbey is the rich juvenile delinquent who played cruel pranks on Loren Hale’s house. He is clearly troubled, but I had no idea just how deeply disturbed he is or how bleak this bad boy’s life is. He is at an all-time emotional low when he meets Willow. Willow Hale is Lo’s long-lost, painfully shy and socially awkward sister.
They’re both misfits in their own way, but the fact that two people with completely opposite personalities managed to find each other and fit together like puzzle pieces is beautiful. There’s something honest and pure about their relationship. It’s not bogged down by misunderstandings, lack of communication, or trust issues.
This emotional story tugged on my heartstrings. I would have preferred that the story be told in a straightforward timeline rather than alternating between past and present. Instead of enhancing the story, the format is disorienting. It’s the one dim spot in an otherwise enjoyable read.
The “core six” characters from the Addicted series are deeply integrated in the Bad Reputation Duet and it reawakened my fondness for them. Excuse me while I go re-read the series.

I’m so in love with Willow and Garrison! On the surface these 2 really shouldn’t work, but honestly, they are just so precious and perfect for each other. I love how careful and considerate Garrison is with Willow, and how she makes him want to be better. They are so supportive and encouraging to each other, it made my heart so happy when they were together. Wherever You was a wonderful conclusion to Willow and Garrison’s love story, and it just filled me with so much love!
As I said in my review for Whatever It Takes, this duet was my first real introduction to Willow and Garrison, since I haven’t read the Addicted or Calloway series, or read the beginnings of their story when it was a web series. But I don’t think that matters in the least- actually, I think it worked out well that I didn’t have any preconceived ideas about these 2. I was able to appreciate Willow and Garrison separate from that world. And I appreciate them so much, I honestly adore them. I love that the “core 6” accepted them into their world. It was wonderful to see how protective they all were towards them, especially how Lo was with Willow in the past chapters, and with Garrison in the present chapters.
I loved seeing both Garrison and Willow really grow and blossom over the course of these 2 books. What a journey they each went on during the years this duet covered. I’m so glad they found each other!
*Have I mentioned that Garrison’s brothers are a bunch of mothereffingassholes?!? Because they are- the biggest mothereffing aholes, ever. Just when I thought they couldn’t get any worse, they went and did worse. Eff them. And eff his mother. Oh lord have mercy don’t get me started on that bitch. A mother is supposed to protect her child, even if it’s from her other children. And she failed, so miserably in that regard. I abhor his family, abhor them. I’m so glad he has Lo, Ryke, and Connor, on his side- his true brothers.
***PS, how freaking cute was Garrison fixing Moffy his school snacks!!!
Book 1 was all angsty teen love and book 2 turned into a beautiful adult romance that showed all the struggles Gillow went through to get to their happy place. I loved the epilogue and getting to see the core 6 and all their children interacting with the Abbey family. Thank you Krista & Becca for the epic love stories, close knit family units, & undying loyalty.

Wherever You Are picks up where the story left off in Whatever it Takes. This book like the previous one goes back and forth between present and past, which was incorporated really well and made sense. It is not my favorite way of telling a story, but I really loved it for this Duet. I absolutely love Willow and Garrison and like the couples from the Addicted series they will always hold a special place in my heart. This duet had a very nostalgic feeling, it felt like I went back in time and was reunited with so many of my favorite characters. I loved how drama-free this duet was. The characters acted their ages but they also felt very mature. The friendship and love Willow and Garrison had for each other was beautiful and I enjoyed seeing them grow as a couple and individuals.
“Wherever you are, no matter if it’s right next to me or a thousand miles away, I’m tied to you with a thread that can’t break. We’re connected by something stronger than time or place.”
I am so happy that Krista and Becca decided to write their story because it was definitely one I was missing. Now I feel sad because I had to say goodbye to these amazing characters again. I so need to reread the Addicted series. I don’t have to convince fans of the series to read this duet, because you probably preordered or one-clicked it the moment it went live. As for the readers who haven’t had the pleasure of being introduced to these amazing authors, then I really hope you will give it a try because I think you’ll enjoy it. Their writing style is very original and has such a great flow. The characters will steal your heart and you will think about them days and months after you are done reading their books. Krista & Becca continue to show me why they are two of my all time favorite authors.

Willow and Garrison have my entire heart! I love these two with everything in me. This book made me so emotional. Garrison and Willow are such complex characters. They break and heal my heart. This second part to their story is so wonderful. I love the way the always communicate. They both want each other more than anything and even when tested they show their love is stronger than anything that can be thrown at them. They are both fighters for their love and themselves. I enjoyed this book so much. I’m so sad it’s over I want more of them. This story is full of love and family and deep feelings. It was everything!

The only reason this is 4.5 and not 5 stars is because it skipped so much. I really enjoyed the flashbacks but towards the end it skipped so much I felt like we were missing important scenes. Other than that I truly loved this book. This duet is incredible. It’s emotional and gripping. It’s so beautiful. Willow and Garrison are so meant to be and I enjoyed seeing their relationship bloom and last. I will most defiantly be re-reading these two. I love duet and this couple. I highly recommend them. It’s true love at it’s finest.
“No matter where we are,” he tells me. “You’re always going to be my girl.”
P.S. I LOVE this cover and you all of to look closer at the background. It’s amazing.

Oh my god, my heart.
This book was even more emotional than the first one. We really get to see the hell Garrison has gone through with his brothers and I could barely take it.
All those bromance moments with Loren and all that he did for him omg guys I’m tearing up writing this. They are two sides of the same coin and gosh I love how Loren was there for Garrison and truly helped him and made him feel part of his family. Gosh, I have so much love for these two man. Those moments were Garrison talked about them being a family and Loren, Ryke and Connor being his brothers *holds back tears*. Yeah, those hit me deep.
And Gillow oh man, I love them even more if that’s possible. These two are so strong and cute and I just adore them to pieces. They overcame so much together, they grew, they became better, stronger versions of themselves and they built so many amazing relationships and a family that loved unconditionally.
My heart is so soft for all these characters, I just- there are literally no words in this world that can possibly explain how much I love all these characters. There really aren’t.
Once again Krista & Becca Ritchie made me all kinds of emotional and sappy, happy and guiddy. I am so happy these two finally got their story told because it’s a beautiful, significant emotional story that deserved to be told. Gillow got their time to shine and oh did they shine so bright. I could not be happier with their story.
And then they surprised me with that epilogue eheh, man the urge to dive back into Damaged Like Us was so strong but I held off because my reread starts on February 2nd for the #AddictedLikeUs read-a-thon on IG.
