Good Story
Zach & Ellora grew up together. She had a crush on him but his mother told her she would never be good enough for him. Now they are both in NYC and they run into each other. They work for different financial firms. But they go out on lunch date & a boat ride. But she loses her job and then his mom gets married to her dad. But there more to this story.
Thing aren’t always what they seem.
Ellora Duvall loves her job at JRK, a Wall Street equity firm. Zach Lowe works for Bell Equity, a company specializing in hostile takeovers. Ellora has crushed on Zack since high school but his mother made it very clear that Ellora was not good enough for her son. When Bell buys JRK, Ellora and all the other employees lose their jobs and she holds Zack personally responsible. As far as Ellora is concerned – like mother, like son and nothing he does or says will change her mind.
The story is well-written but I got a little tired of Ellora continually using the takeover and job loss as her excuse for having nothing to do with Zack, especially since he was only an employee at Bell. Zack was a strong male lead, willing to wait until Ellora figured out the truth.
Wherever Love Finds You by Laura Haley-McNeil
Beaumont Brides Series Book One
Ellora Duvall loves working and living in New York. She makes more money than she ever thought she could working on Wall Street. And then the day comes when someone from her past crosses paths with her and nothing is the same again. Life keeps going downhill from that day it seems like.
Zach Lowe and Ellora were from the same town. The same high school. Different sides of the tracks. Funny how things you were told in your younger years stick with you. Reminding you of things like not being good enough for some people.
This is the first book I’ve read from this author and I really enjoyed it. I found it to be an easy read that kept my attention and the pages turning.

Wow. The tension is high. I keep getting unexpected things happening in this book, every time I turn around! So much family and childhood friends and business and more.
I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Wherever Love Finds You is a clean, powerful romance. Long ago, Zach’s mother told Ellora that Ellora would never be worthy of Zach. Ellora works for a trader. Zack works for a company that buys distressed companies and lays off the workers. When Ellora’s firm becomes a target of Zach’s firm, there are misunderstandings and Ellora is both hurt and insulted. I really enjoyed this well written, character driven book!
Ellora Duvall has had a crush on Zach Lowe since she was a teen but his mother’s warnings have played in her head for years and since then she has felt unworthy of him. When she realizes the devistation he just caused, she will never forgive him. So why won’t her heart listen to her head?
Zach knows Ellora is furious but convincing her it is misdirected seems futile. When he and Ellora are both called home he suspects the worst and is sure Ellora’s anger will only intensify when she learns the latest news.
I really wish the author would have focused on more character details and development of the h and H so we felt more connected to them and their families, like Ellora’s sisters and Zach’s brothers. She writes them each having so many siblings, only two of each are referred to by name, although they all play somewhat prominently in the story. Why would the author write so many siblings into a series of only three books. It seemed an odd omission.
A very sweet story with characters that you can love
Story was well written with developed characters. Love story with heartbreaks and tragedy along the way. Unfortunately Ellora’s thoughts kept going to sleeping with Zach. Their attraction seemed to be most of the relationship.
