I don’t think that I have cried in a book more than this one. This book was so good. I don’t know how to describe it. The mistakes they made broke them apart. But in the ned, it brought back together. They went through many, many obstacles in life. I usually write a summary of the book so that it makes more sense. But this time I think that there is no need for a background. Just read this book. It is heart-breaking but still full of love. And make sure that you have a bathroom, food, and water with you. As there will be no way you can put this book down. Oh, and a tissue box. I loved it.
I wrote this voluntary review in exchange for an ARC copy.
The writing will draw you in after only a few pages and have you finishing the book in one sitting.
There is the perfect amount of angst and romance and grit to keep you hooked.
I loved how their relationship unfolded so we could see these amazing characters grow in ways you never expected.
I would suggest picking up a copy asap, you will not be disappointed.

I went through a rollercoaster of emotions with this book and most of them were because of Law. He gets on your nerves one second and has you blushing and panting the next. There are years of resentment between Law and Cami but even when they’re at odds, you can feel their connection and love for each other. It’s a wild ride but in the end, I had a big smile on my face.
What a story of two people who loved each other fourteen years ago, but where torn apart because of one man. This story kept me turning pages, as the lie they both unknowingly lived with comes to light. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Cami had a morning from hell and then it got worse when she went to the coffee shop and bumped into Law the person she had been in love with since a young age and hadn’t seen in years when she made a mistake and walked away from him and that killed everything that they could have had together. Law had always loved Cami but he made a mistake and she just disappeared and he couldn’t find her and now years later he sees her in the coffee shop and life has he knows it will be changed forever. Cami and Law had a connection and chemistry that stood the test of time but it was not all straight sailing for them. Omg I loved this book so much it was amazing and I couldn’t turn the page’s fast enough to see what would happen next and it was so addictive. There are twists and turns in this book that makes you feel so many emotions and there is also loss, pain, hope, betrayal, forgiveness and a second chance and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. A M Wilson is a brilliant author and writer and I definitely recommend you read this book and you will not be disappointed.
I Voluntarily Reviewed an ARC Copy of this book.
If you like stories that give you ALL the feels or characters that make you so mad or upset that you want to throw your kindle, then this book is for you! This is a second third fourth chance romance with a side of teenage pregnancy. The h goes through more in her short life than any one person should. You just feel for her from the get go. Very emotional read!
Emotional & Brilliant!!
No billionaires or alpha males here. Every day people struggling through every day, or perhaps exceptional, circumstance.
Law and Cami were soul mates in school. When Law wanted the opportunity to date another person before committing to Cami; Cami who had lost both parents and a brother, could not handle losing another. Her one night looking for love resulted in a child. Cami spent the next 14 years committed to raising her daughter in another town.
When fate puts these two in each other’s path again – sparks and tempers fly. Each feel that draw to the other person, but also the hurt from the past.
Amazing story of second chances, and the decisions you make along the way. As their history is revealed, and the reality of their current situation escalates we are taken on a journey of growth and the power of love and forgiveness. A powerful read.
When they were teenagers, Cami gets her heart broken by Law, her best friend, which leads to an event that she can’t and (albeit sad and awful) wouldn’t take back because it gave her something precious. However, that led to her breaking Law’s heart. Fourteen years later, they stumble upon each other in a coffee shop in Arrow Creek. Cami has made a life for her and her daughter, and as hard as she tries to keep Law out of her life, every time she turns around, there he is, unable to escape him.
There is so much push and pull between these two characters, it was definitely an emotional roller coaster ride. There was so much heartbreak, lies, secrets and uncertainty between Cami and Law, but I rooted for these two until the very end and it was so worth the ride. There was some angst and a twist that I was not expecting! Definitely recommend it! I won this book in a giveaway recently, and dove in right away! This is my first book by the author and I loved her writing. She hooked me in from page one. I couldn’t put it down! I really loved this second chance romance. I’ll definitely be checking out more of her work!
This book was amazing!
I love A.M.Wilson’s books, but she’s taken things to a whole new level with this book. I’m totally blown away! I had so many emotions while reading. I cried, I laughed and got so worked up with the characters, I was totally lost in the storyline. I couldn’t stop reading till I got to the very last page..
Cami moved away pregnant at very young age. She started a new life and put everything into raising her daughter. Leaving everything and everyone behind..
14 years have gone by…
When in town, she runs headlong into her childhood best friend Lawrence. Law was the love of her life and it crushed her leaving him behind. She never thought in a million years she would ever see him again…
So much time has past and so many secrets. Can Cami finally be with her one true love? Will he understand why she had to leave him all them years ago?
I read this twice, and could happily read over and over again. It was so good!
The author crafted an emotional story that had major impact. I was heartbroken given her past than the reveals started happening and I found myself incensed on her behalf as well as heartbroken once again. This was a good story and I enjoyed reading it.

I felt all the feels that both Law and Cami went through but I just couldn’t really connect with Law. He was a jerk. I understood his thinking 14years ago because they were young but I did not agree with his decision. It was like getting his cake and eating it too. Even if he knew it was a mistake he still did it.
Loved Cami the strong determined woman that ended up pregnant when she was sixteen and walked away in order to have her baby and make a life for herself after her best friend/boyfriend Lawrence tells her he wants to go out with the head cheerleader and on the same day she ends up pregnant but not by Lawrence/Law. Fourteen years later they run into each other and he finds out she has a daughter and he is a hateful arrogant jerk. I really did not like his character throughout this book as he tells her he loves her only to go and date other women making the excuse that he was trying to purge her from his heart but no one could replace her and when he finds out who the father of her daughter is he accuses her of seducing the man when she was only sixteen and he knew she was a innocent girl. I would told him to take a hike but she loved him and it did end the way she wanted.
The book is a good small town romance read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. The story is an enjoyable second chance romance read.

My feelings about this book are mixed. It was definitely entertaining and I wanted to keep reading to know what was going to happen.
I didn’t enjoy the whiplash between the two MCs. The “I have to have you”, “no I don’t” gave me a headache. I found that I liked young Law but not the older bipolar version that barges back into Cami’s life.
The fact that Cami is feeling guilty over what happened I understand. What I don’t get is how Law is not really taking responsibility for the role he played in the whole situation 14 years prior. And the fact that he basically did the same “we should see other people” twice makes it obvious he didn’t learn the first time. But I guess he was the only one who could see other people because as soon as someone else is in the picture for Cami he comes running back.
I hated that Cami was so quick to forgive him. They never truly worked through their issues.
This soap opera of a novel is quite frustrating and will tug at your heartstrings at times, as long as you don’t mind the double standard.
