Where There’s Hope ( A Well Paired Novel #2)
By Marianne Rice
Rated 5 stars
Holy holy buckets! I loved this story! The relationships between these characters just floored me! I laughed, cried and was shocked over a few things. I thought I had this book figured out…BUT I didn’t!
Cameron! I love you! You are amazing! Life might have gave you lemons but eventually you made delicious tasting lemonade! You are strong and determined but sweet. The way this author writes about Cameron’s character….so awesome! I can picture him always. Standing with his hands in his pockets, hunching over and looking down. Defeated, embarrassed or unassuming those are what I think of when Cameron postures. His sweet sweet smile, goofy grin or out right laugh..stunning. He is humble as well as kind and those manners?….i love them! When he is happy…I am happy. He deserves to move forward.
Hope had some reasons to dislike Cameron. I can understand but some of the things she does or says to him…ouch! She is full of love for her daughter and parents. I would also say she is loyal! She just can’t get over the hump that is Cameron. Her friends however are hoots! That Mia! Cameron needs to watch out for her! The town is lovely and I can see why Hope didn’t leave. It’s full of characters( young and old).
This is my first book in this series or by this author. I throughly enjoyed it and read it as fast as I could. The title is a perfect fit to the story. As well as the series name of “Well Paired”. These two are very will paired!
Where There’s Hope (A Well Paired Novel) by Marianne Rice is a wonderful contemporary romance story. It is a love story where redemption and forgiveness can soothe the soul. It’s a love story that means trust and the truth could mean second chances may be possible and heal old wounds. It is a sad and beautiful story that I found hard to put down and when I did I was thinking about how soon I could get back to it. I loved this story. The characters are so well written that I could feel their pain, their torture, their love and their emotions. I fell in love with them and Marianne has created a lovely story that should not be missed. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I absolutely loved this story. Cameron has finally found Hope, and is only there to try to help from afar as he knows because of his past, she won’t ever forgive him.
Hope is raising a daughter, as a single mother, along with the amazing support of her parents.
When Cameron comes to town, she wants nothing to do with him and doesnt want to hear a word he has to say, but what if what he says would change what you know as the truth?
I enjoyed these characters, it felt real, like i was with them through everything. Great read!
Where There’s Hope by Marianne Rice was such a refreshing and beautifully written book. It’s always a comfort to find an author that I feel like I can get lost while reading their words.
We get to learn about Hope Windward and the whirlwind that her life becomes after Cameron Smithfield comes to her town – Crystal Cove, Maine. Unfortunately for her, there is history between them – history that she considers to be devastating, seeing as Cameron killed his brother, the father of Hope’s daughter in a car accident.
I absolutely loved getting lost in this story, with its characters – whom were very well developed. Like I said in the beginning, I found this book very refreshing. To be able to take part in their journey and find themselves, and the redemption that each individual need. I definitely consider this to be a 5 Star Book!
Wow… what a truly heartfelt story. This is my first book by Marianne Rice and it won’t be the last. The story is rich in layers, emotions and provoking words. Hope Windward and Cameron Smithfield’s story is the second in a series, but it is a standalone. Hope and Cameron make you cheer for their HEA from the very beginning to the end. But don’t forget to have some tissues handy, and don’t read while waiting at the doctors office. Great story.
Here’s a story about forgiveness and second chances, about people who make mistakes and people who hide the truth to protect the ones they love. Rice has written a love story about two people that deserve forgiveness and second chances. Hope and Cameron have secrets, but they still deserve the truth, they actually need the truth in order to forgive. This story tells about how they try for happiness.
I liked all of the characters in this story. Not only the main characters of Hope and Cameron but their friends too. They all live in the small town in Maine, so their friendships are close. I liked the storyline too because it is fresh. No billionaires here. No motorcycle clubs, no evil or true violence. This story has a little heart break but lots of hope!
This is the second book in the series called A Well Paired Novel. The first one, At First Blush, does not have to be read in order to follow this story or to love these characters.
This is my first story by Marianne Rice and it certainly won’t be my last! I recommend this story and look forward to reading her other stories.
Where There’s Hope is book two in the Well Paired series by Marianne Rice. This is my first story by this author and it was fantastic. In the literary world, there is always new and exciting authors to discover, and Marianne Rice is one such exciting author.
Hope and Cameron meet years after a devastating accident changed the course of their lives, and to say Hope was not happy to see him was an understatement. She blamed him and could not forgive or forget the circumstances that led her to the present she lived every day. Cameron just wanted to move on and get on with living his life in peace. His feelings for Hope are evident, and although she would rather perish than admit it, she had strong feelings for him too. There were many twists to this story and it was edgy and dramatic to read. Longing and mutual attraction sees them gravitate toward each other. A tale of past meets present, love blossoms regardless of adversity, lust bursts from the pages, and forever looms on the horizon. A stunning and emotionally charged read that is deserving of 5 stars.
Where There’s Hope is a Well Paired Novel written by Marianne Rice. I found myself loving this story in a way I didn’t think I would. The storyline is one that you don’t come across very often, it’s unique and full of varying emotions. Cameron I like a lot, he made mistakes and instead of fighting the past he just accepts it, even though you wonder why he didn’t fight it. Hope I felt for, she made the best out of a tough situation. I loved reading about Cameron and Hopes past, present and hoping there would be a future with the two. Enter in Delany and your adding a whole new element to an already great story. I was sad to see the end of the book coming soon but okay with the ending at the same time.
Where There’s Hope (A Well Paired Novel #2) by Marianne Rice was just the good feel book I needed to start off the summer.
What a emotional ride. This book has heavy, punch gut feels that makes you feel like you’re the one going through this epic story of, learning how to forgive, and discovering that there is always tow sides to grief and events. I loved how the story focused on both their journeys and not just tunneling on one POV. It rounded out the story. And just when you thought you couldn’t get any more emotional invested, bam… who needs a heart anyways?
I have to say, after I was done reading this book I was in such a good mood. Looking back, this book conveys that tricky message and topic of forgiveness. Though I am agents driving under any influence, and believe that if you take someones life you need to take responsibility, this book did an excellent job at bridging two sides of the guilt, pain and suffering. As I said there is always two sides, and you’re just going to have to read this book to get what I’m saying.
Take my high recommendation that you will love this feel good summery book.
Happy Reading

Where There’s Hope (A Well Paired Novel) by Marianne Rice is a fantastic love story about second chances and redemption. This is the story of Hope and Cameron and how the love they find together helps to heal the wounds of the past. Hope is a woman that thrives on her independence. She had to learn how to be on her own after her daughter’s father was killed leaving her to raise her alone. When the man responsible, Cameron, returns after he spends years in prison her anger is unquestionably justified. However Cameron is determined to make up for the mistakes of his past and the two soon find themselves drawn to each other in ways neither could have predicted. I loved this story. The characters were so well written they ended up feeling like old friends. The plot was well thought out and kept me turning pages long into the night. An excellent five star worthy story and I look forward to reading more from this author.
